MOCKERY COMES BEFORE A MIRACLE.

WHEN YOU WANT A MIRACLE, YOU DON’T LISTEN TO WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

Father speak to us this hour, let each one have an encounter in Jesus mighty name. How many are expecting miracles tonight, it is those who expect miracles that encounter miracles. Miracles don’t go where they are needed, it goes to where they are expected.

God specializes in doing the impossible. I’ll be taking the message from the book of Mark 5: 21-23. The first thing Jairus did was to worship Jesus. Now, that you’ve worshipped him, to everyone that worshipped him, not tomorrow, instantly your miracle will be born. ChurchGist. The first thing Jarius did was to recognize the lordship of Jesus, that is why before the message I consciously said we should worship. Before anything, Jairus fell down and said Lord, I know who you are and I will worship you. Today, your worship of Jesus will remove every evil in your life. Jarius said at this point there is nothing I can do anymore, I recognize who you are, I know you can make a way where there is no way. Jairus was not a small person, he built a synagogue, he did many things.

But none of the things he did could help him, his ideology, his cultural understanding could not bail him out, his education could not handle him, he had a problem beyond him. His only daughter was at the point of death. ChurchGist. There are situations where everything you know can’t work, your education can’t work, your connection has failed, your knowledge of the situation cannot suffice and all you need is Jesus, of you’re going through such I came to announce to you, not tomorrow right now, He will intervene in the name of Jesus, Mark 5:24. Jesus went to him, why did He go? God will never deny your request if you ask sincerely.

He said my little daughter is at the point of death, come and lay your hands on her. Matthew 7:7-8. The moment Jairus opened his mouth, Jesus said I am going with you because I can’t break my scripture. ChurchGist. Whatever you ask right now in this service, anything you ask will be done in the name of Jesus. Lift your right hands towards Heaven and say Father, you can’t deny me when I ask, I ask (look at one area of your life and just ask) say Jesus before this message is over meet me at this point of my need, go ahead and ask something that is beyond you, beyond your expertise, beyond your own strength, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, someone will have a miracle right now.

Jesus will always stop to attend to whosoever that asks for his help, now that you’ve asked for the help of Jesus, He will give you attention in the name of Jesus. Say with me: He will give me attention, because he is the same yesterday and today, if He stopped to answer Jairus, he is answering you right now, the only thing that can deny you of your miracle is if you don’t ask, Jairus said I want you to follow me to heal my daughter and Jesus followed him, He will do same to someone who has asked in the name of Jesus. ChurchGist. If you were Jairus you know at that point when you’re informed that your daughter is dead, your faith will shake, you’re expecting Jesus to follow you and them all of a sudden, a sad news has come, bad news as come, don’t bother anymore this case is hopeless, I don’t know the sad news people are giving to you but Jesus who specializes in turning situation he will turn it around for good in the name of Jesus.

They came to him, don’t bother the master, your daughter is dead. You know if you were in that position, you would scream and shout, you’re in Church now it may look simple but if you were in Jairus position your heart will melt, you will shake and say what is this. Mark 5:36. He heard what you said a few minutes ago, He heard you when you said Lord, help me, he has heard what people are saying about you, He has had the bad news they gave you (you can never succeed, you’re a useless person). ChurchGist. There is a statement Jesus made, He said unto the ruler and what he says to one he says to all, be not afraid. Tell yourself: I refuse to fear. Jesus told Jairus to only believe and to not be afraid.

Refuse to be afraid, that means have faith in the one who is talking, He said to Jairus, no matter what they are saying, have faith in me, I am standing before you, I am the resurrection and the life, he that cometh to me I will not wise cast out, He said gave no fear when I speak, the dead will hear. Have no fear. You know why he said so, Luke 18:27. ChurchGist. The things including that thing you’re bothering yourself about. I don’t know what you’ve given up on, today, the God of Heaven who has not stopped working miracles will turn that situation around and you’re returning with a testimony in the name of Jesus, I am not speaking my word, I am speaking His word, that is why I know that nobody hearing my voice will not have a miracle in the name of Jesus Christ. Mark 9:23. Say with me: my case is not hopeless, it cannot be hopeless, I have Jesus on my side, he will glory his name in my life today. The Holy Ghost will glorify Jesus in my life, concerning my situation and affairs today in the name of Jesus.

As soon as the word came, He said be not afraid only believe, when the doctor says to you there is no hope (only believe), your case is not hopeless, when your brothers and sisters say to you no way, tell yourself that there is a way, the word from the mouth of God can’t fail, the word from Jesus can’t fail, stand on the integrity of his word that is faith. He said only believe don’t have fear, all God wants from us is our faith in his Word, when God speaks and you believe the miracle is born. Miracles are always surrounded by warfare. ChurchGist. When Jairus had that situation, you know everything looked like it was collapsing, before a miracle is born it will look like a war and when it is looking like it’s rough that is when God steps in, He will step into your affairs. When God speaks and you believe the miracle is done, miracle happens to those who believe the Word of God. Say with me: I believe.

All that is needed for a miracle is for you to stand on the integrity of the Word of God, Faith is all that is required. ChurchGist. How to stir your faith? All you need to do to stir your faith is to have an encounter with the Word of God. I was sick years back to the point and I had an encounter with Matthew 8:17. Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. I said Jesus took, I believe he took, I didn’t panic on the inside. I said if you have taken it then I don’t have it and I stood on the integrity of Matthew 8:17 and Hepatitis was destroyed, Long ago poverty stood face to face with me and I saw in 1997 that the power to get wealth is not in the hands of any government, it’s not in the hand of any mortal man that the power to get wealth is in the hand of God, all I needed to do is to walk by the covenant and I stood on the integrity of the word, there is no economic crises that can make me poor, when God speaks He speaks according to his capacity to perform, in this miracle service, everyone that desires a miracle, no matter how things are turning upside down , that things which you believe just come to pass in your life, if you believe it say amen like a believer in the precious name of Jesus. Something good will happen to someone, all bad things will turn around in your life.

Mark 5:37-39. The wailers and the sympathizer will gather around you but they can’t help you, only Jesus can help you. They were there sympathizing; people can tell you sorry but they can’t do anything. People can gather to sympathize with you but only Jesus has the answers to the question of your life. ChurchGist. They mocked Jesus, so mocking you is not new, people will mock you, before any miracle there must be mockery. Mockery comes before a miracle.

They said look at this joker he has come again, men will mock you, friends will laugh at you, relations will see you as somebody very stupid, you have carried the Bible every day, you’re going to church, you came Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and you’ve come again on Thursday, I have good news for you, you’re not the first, they mocked Jesus but at the end it was turned into a miracle. That mockery will end with a testimony. They mocked Jesus. ChurchGist. The mother of the dead child looked at him and said where was this joker when she was alive, now she is dead and he is saying she is sleeping. You know they look at you so poor and you said you will be rich and they laughed at you to scorn.

My Father in the Lord Bishop Oyedepo, he drove somewhere with his beetle, in those days he used to have a Volkswagen beetle, he said while he was preaching in prosperity, somebody laughed, they can’t even change their cars they are talking about buying an aircraft, he said the man laughed him to scorn that with beetle he is saying he will be very rich, this people must be crazy, today he’s the richest pastor on earth, that was a man who they mocked. ChurchGist. I don’t know where they mocked you before this miracle service is over, your miracle will be born, you think they have not mocked me, they mocked me left to right. One day one of my distant relation said why did you go to GRA to start a Church, you would have started a Church in sandfield (a place in Port Harcourt) I said God do not send me to sandfield, there are people he sent to sandfield but he sent me to GRA. He was mocking me.

The same person stood in front of the gate and said I am looking for my brother and they said you can’t see him, we don’t know you and he said he’s my brother, tell him. He came for over a year, he could not see me and when we eventually saw each other, he said I have been telling them that I am your brother but these people refused and I remembered his mockery. You know when people come like that consistently you should know what they are really there for; assistance. ChurchGist. In my usual way I just laughed, the same man I had to pay his house rent, you know when you’re successful you have all manner of relations. Very soon, those who thought you’re down will honour you after this service. Those who mock you will celebrate you before this month is over, if you’re a believer say amen like a child of God, I am speaking to someone’s life before this month is over someone will identify with you, because of your miracle in the name of Jesus. The good news is this; your story, situation and circumstance will change for good today in the name of Jesus.

In case they laughed at you please don’t cry, they laughed at Jesus, to scorn means it was not an ordinary laugh, they laughed him to scorn, they have said it to his hearing, please go and rest, this man is a joker, I mean Jesus the Messiah, so laughing at you is not new. ChurchGist. You know why they’re laughing at you; you will be the one to laugh at the end, that mockery, you will laugh it as a testimony, they laughed at Sarah but she laughed at the end.

There are two kinds of laughter, people mocking you with laughter and you laughing with good news. Before this time next month, you’ll be laughing with good news, your laughter shall be a laughter of good news. ChurchGist. Because something will happen that will turn your story around and if you’re that person your amen will confirm it in the name of Jesus. Mark 5;40. Shut your ear to side talks, when you want a miracle, you don’t listen to what people are saying, they will abuse you, shut your ears, put all the gossipers and backbiters behind you, go away. I don’t want you to listen.

Somebody is saying anything about you, tell them I’m not interested, they can say anything they like. When you have a challenge it’s not everybody you talk to about your challenge, if Jesus didn’t bring Matthew along for such prayers, he brought Peter, James and John, they were people who will reason like him. ChurchGist. If I bring Matthew he would be doubting. When you want a miracle look for like minds. Mark 5:41-43. Damsel arise, what he says to one he says to all.
Somebody will rise now, no matter how down you’re you will rise now.
No matter how bad your situation is, you will rise now.
No matter how you’ve been on the floor, your rising is instant in the name of Jesus.
No matter how bad your situation is, you will rise now.
No matter how you’ve been on the floor, your rising is instant in the name of Jesus.
No matter how you’ve been begging to eat, you’re rising now from that situation.
From the sick bed you will rise.
From the dead situation you will rise
From that ugly point you will rise.
You’re rising in the name of Jesus.
