THANKSGIVING: WHY AND HOW WE GIVE GOD THANKS
Does your child understand what it means to be thankful?
Thanksgiving is not only expected from adults, anyone who has breath can give thanks and praise to God!
Psalms 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
Matthew 21:16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
From today, let thanksgiving be a culture in your family, help your children to understand that every good thing they see around them came from God and that He alone can preserve, multiply and perfect them.
Above all, be an example to them, next time you are tempted to complain about something in your life and family, give thanks to God for the gift of life and of family and watch God turn things around.
BE THANKFUL!
