This week, we shall illustrate an aspect of the earthly life of Jesus.
Although He was (and is still) the Son of God, He had to be born, to live and die like a man in order to purchase Salvation for us all (Phillipians 2:6-7; Hebrews 2:17).
During His days on the Earth, He experienced everything a normal person experiences. He was hungry (Matthew 21:18), He slept (Mark 4:38), He ate (Luke 7:36), He wept (John 11:35) and He was tempted (Matthew 4:3-11).
As a boy of 12, He was tempted like every other 12-year-old and as an adult at 30, He was also tempted. The Bible clearly states that Christ was tempted AT ALL POINTS but He did not sin (Hebrews 4:15).
Have you ever tried to explain to your children, what it means to overcome temptations? Ensure they watch the video below.
