High Places Christian Centre
High Places Christian Centre popularly called HPCC is an upwardly mobile church located in Woji, Port Harcourt.
It was founded in September 2015 by Reverend Biodun Akintayo and held her innaugural service in November 2015.
The church has a mandate to go raise the standard of faith, making many great and she does this by empowering and lifting people with faith based teachings from the desk of heaven.
HPCC exist to empower people to become great in life serving God and humanity with their greatness.
The church has only one branch which is located in the city of Woji, Port Harcourt. It started in Okuru, Abuloma with an attendance of twenty-six people before relocating to Woji and now boast of more than two hundred people on a weekly basis.
They now hold two services on Sundays and a midweek service on Thursdays.
The church has a good mixture of singles and married both fellowshiping and relating with the strong atmosphere of love.
Their kind of music is Urban Contemporary with a strong atmosphere of worship being led by the Levites, the church’s choir.
As a church that serves her community, they engage in periodic outreaches on a quarterly basis where people from the community come and receive different food supplies at no cost. The most recent outreach was during the Easter celebration period.
God’s servant, Reverend Biodun Akintayo has a unique way of interacting with the youth, with down to earth messages that are easy to relate and yet powerful to deliver and set free.
His humour and candor comes across as both refreshing and timeless especially in a world where men are hungry for the truth. He has used his gifting and calling to lift men from obscurity to notable figures in the society both within and outside the country.
He is happily married to Shola Akintayo and they have four children.
High Places Christian Centre is a church with the vibrant youth and they are set to do greater exploits.
