The Apostolic Gospel Mission International is a fruit of God’s encounter with His servant Prophet Kevin Nubidga in the year 2009. During this season of his Life, there seemed to be a cry in the Heavenlies, a search for one who will establish God’s kingdom, His power and His glory in the lives of men, taking men from darkness and bringing them into the light of the knowledge of God. God chose his servant – Kevin Nubidga who after a series of divine encounters was ordained as God’s Prophet to His people to start this move.
This encounter led to the start of a house fellowship gathering somewhere in Fomenky street off Buea road, Kumba, in the South-West Region of Cameroon.
Prophet Kevin Nubidga being taught and trained by God in the prophetic ministry became a source of inspiration and comfort to many as his fame grew in not only the neighborhood but also the city of Kumba.ChurchGist.He was further empowered by God in the miraculous when he received the healing mandate from God. Many lives were blessed, transformed and healed through his hands. Prophet Kevin who is known to not do anything ministry-wise if he is not inspired by the Holy Spirit, bore much fruits into the kingdom of God as souls were being saved.The house became small for meetings and the ministry succeeded to get a bigger and more spacious place to hold her meetings and contain more people.ChurchGist. This was at the SOWEFCU compound, opposite the Gendarmerie brigade, at Buea road.
This gave birth to the Mountain of Transfiguration ministry.
Sons and daughters and devoted followers were born and raised in the ministry and sooner, the ministry moved to Bonakama quarter, still in Kumba. After a while, the ministry moved into a higher phase where the apostolic Grace was released upon God’s servant and at this point, there needed to be a balance between the apostolic and the prophetic aunctions in the ministry. ChurchGist. Blessed with great minds who were also opened to the Spirit of God, the transition wasn’t too much of a big deal as the process of transition was properly managed.
The name of the ministry changed to APOSTOLIC GOSPEL MINISTRY.
Prophet Kevin Nubidga saw the need to be mentored in ministry considering the challenges of the new phase of the ministry and under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, he met with Apostle Johnson Suleman who is a very relevant and great figure in the body of Christ.ChurchGist.
Upon their meeting, Apostle Johnson Suleman welcomed, loved and accepted to Father Prophet Kevin in ministry and through absolute submission to the authority of his spiritual father, The Apostolic Gospel Ministry grew and expanded mightily and became one of the most influential ministries in the city of Kumba and the South West Region as a whole.
The ministry has grown to having over thirty branches within and out of Cameroon. Pastors have been trained who are excelling marvelously in their different ministries: some are branch pastors of Apostolic Gospel Ministry and others are pastors and overseers over their own ministries.ChurchGist. It is worth mentioning that the strength of Apostolic Gospel Ministry is the teaching of the ageless, timeless ever-abiding word of God, preached in its simplicity. You do not need to go to school to understand the messages preached, you only need to be able to hear and the Holy Spirit will be the one to convict you as you listen to the messages from God’s servant – Prophet Kevin Nubidga.
Awesome testimonies have been recorded as lives are transformed by God’s word.
So much has been achieved by Prophet Kevin Nubidga and the Apostolic Gospel Ministry over a very short period of time such as the opening of the first Gospel TV channel in Cameroon to stream live services – Transfiguration Tv, having a radio channel – Transfiguration Radio, having and running the ‘Two Are Better Than One’ Foundation which is a charity foundation aimed to help the less privileged.
The ministry also has a Bible school known as Apostolic School of Ministry where Minister’s are taught how to become great ministers of the gospel.
The Ministers’ Conferences organised by this ministry has greatly impacted many ministers over the years, prayer and worship altars have been restored, passion for God and His work has been reborn all these to the glory of God.
The ministry also has a music record label – Transfiguration Records through which awesome songs inspired by the Holy Spirit spring forth and gospel artistes who love God and are spirit filled are raised. ChurchGist. The theatre arm of the ministry – Transfiguration Filmz is also coming out big in no time.
The publication mandate upon this ministry has also birth a publication arm which publishes the books written by the Man of God. Books like Daily devotionals -The Word of Light, amongst others have also been tools through which God revealed and manifests His glory in the lives of many.
One of the most recent developments in The Apostolic Gospel Ministry is the building of the prayer tower which is known as “THE TOWER OF HANANEEL – this is the place where people encounter God in His majesty, Dominion and the grace of favour is poured out to them.
It is an awesome edifice and it’s worth reckoning.
All of these achievements are made possible not just because Prophet Kevin Nubidga is a man after God’s heart, but also because God had blessed him with a wife, who is a Reverend and a prophetess too – Reverend Mrs. Karen Nubidga. She is the ministry supervisor and the backbone of the success of the ministry.
ChurchGist. She’s blessed and gifted with the spirit of wisdom for the smooth running of activities in the ministry. With such a wife, success in ministry is inevitable.
Both Prophet Kevin and Reverend Mrs. Karen Nubidga are blessed with four very handsome sons, very intelligent and focused.
Following the numerous activities running in the ministry, the ministry just crossed into another higher phase of the assignment to accommodate all under its cover and this has taken the ministry into the Mission phase, hence the name by which it’s now operating – APOSTOLIC GOSPEL MISSION.
