The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor E.A. Adeboye is a man whose life serves as a reference point to a huge number of people, his soft approach to things, calm voice, very striking words and understanding of the Holy Scriptures are unbelievably impressive.
Humility can be seen in all areas of his life, including his dressing. He is mostly seen in a buttoned down short sleeved safari suit and other times short sleeved English suits with a bow tie. When he chooses to appear on native attire, he wears a plain properly sewn and ironed kaftan. In conclusion, it appears that he chooses to appear that way so that people don’t focus on his outfit instead of the Word.
Moderation in all things is key: Philippians 4: 5, “Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand”. Appear smart, clean and simple.
