“Every woman of God is a minister of the Gospel and as a minister of the Gospel, there are basic and salient attributes required to lead well. When these are not there, the work is bound to hit the rock. Every woman of God is a leader who leads children at home, and if her husband is the head pastor of the congregation, she joins him to lead the entire congregation that is departmentalised into various gender groups or activities.”
Lizzy Johnson Suleman is an Astute Administrator, Teacher, Evangelist, Philanthropist, Educator, Preacher and wife of the President and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman.
A woman of grace and virtue who is known for her generosity and also known as “Dynamic Mother”, a name given to her because of her many talents and dynamicism, she started from an humble background and has risen to become one admired by many for her good works. She hails from Benue State and was born on the 28th of February in Kano to Mr. and Mrs. Abinya. Right from childhood, her parents could tell that their daughter was special. She loved to study and was diligent and passionate about knowledge. After her primary and secondary education, she proceeded to Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State where she studied Mass Communication and obtained her National Diploma in 2005. In 2014, she was awarded with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Religious Studies from Bethel University, Benin, Edo State, Nigeria.
Because of her love for education, passion for children and moulding of the next generation, she founded the Dynamic British International High School, Auchi which is the foremost prominent Montessori Academy in the North of Edo State.
Lizzy is also known for being a philanthropist. She is a giver. She has, in several occasions given to the needy in several communities and even went ahead to run a Prayer and Help Ministry called the Hebrew Women’s Foundation. The Foundation reaches out to women with varying needs and give them the appropriate support when needed. In April, during the pandemic, she was seen going to the houses of each member of the house to give cash and food items. She also gave to non-members. She is known for reaching out to widows and children in her community.
In 2004, she got married to Apostle Johnson Suleman and the union has produced six children. They met in 1998 and got married in 2004. Being an ardent preacher of the word herself when they met, they kicked off dating and got married and together started the Omega Fire Ministries which is present in over 50 countries across the globe. As a supporter of her husband in his ministry, she supervises and coordinates several churches and arms of the ministry which has made the ministry grow into a reputable one within it’s few years of existence. She is well known for her great gift of administration and manages the investments of her and her husband and she does so perfectly well. She is the Executive Director of Hosanna Conglomerate, a group of companies and investments of Apostle Johnson Suleman, consisting of Celebration TV, House of Fire Radio, Hosanna Publishers, Hosanna Oil and Gas, Hosanna Resort and Suites, Ebenezer Mall, etc..
In her words, “submissiveness at home is the first attribute a woman of God must possess in order to lead or do well”, no wonder her husband never fails to keep talking about her and showering her gifts. Two years ago, her husband gifted her with a shopping mall, transport line and gas station built specifically for her to celebrate her birthday. Before she met her husband, she said, “Now talking about myself before I met my husband, has been a good useful youthful life, where God is number one and my all-in-all in everything. It was a time when the focus was fully on the fundamental basis of Christianity, this also brought the likeness of the man with a similar passion for God.” Her and her husband have become inseparable since they met and have become an admiration of many.
Lizzy is also a good Songwriter and singer. Her songs have been a source of healing and inspiration for many, bringing them to Christ. Her and her husband have also teamed up to sing and release several songs together.
Asides being a good manager of investments and the home, she is a firebrand on the pulpit. Her messages have touched lives across the globe. Her TV Programme “New Anointing” has been a great platform for her to spread the Gospel to others.
She is inspired by mother in the Lord, pastor Foluke Adeboye, the wife of the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God who she revealed, is a major inspiration to her because of her humility and disciplined life and her love for the younger generation. She seeks to tow same path to be a light to others.
Lizzy is a source of inspiration and encouragement to many, a woman of grace, virtue, class and elegance. She is an example of a woman of substance impacting lives and generations.
