Again let’s appreciate the fact that next to salvation, revelation is the greatest asset of a believer. If you are not saved, you perish. If you have no knowledge you perish. So it is not enough to be saved, you must be able to access the knowledge of the truth for us to be free indeed. No doubt light has been coming forth since this teaching began. We have the last in the series of Midweek teachings this evening. All those things hold no value except if it is applied. Church Gist. Only applied revelation holds any value. Why call me Lord! Lord without doing what I tell you to do. Follow what I say and you will see it come to pass. May we all receive fresh grace not only to know what is right but to do what is right. Nothing empowers like obedience. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. Simply by the act of obedience. Talking about obedience of faith, you obey because you believe that what God says He will do, He will do it.
Prayers: Lord I have come to you to access another light, grant me the grace to apply it with delight.
Father in the name of Jesus, we are here waiting on you, let no one return disappointed. Let there be definite encounters by your Word today. Church Gist. Let us leave here knowing which step to take moving forward in the name of Jesus.
Remember our prophetic focus for the month is Biblical Covenant Empowers for Wealth. Wealth is not our ambition, it is not our crave, it is our birthright discovered. He became poor so that through his poverty we might be made rich. Deuteronomy 8:18. Church Gist. He doesn’t give power to get evil. It is not a church doctrine, it is His covenant. ‘This is the platform upon which I empower my people for wealth which is their birthright. If you align with these terms, leave me with the rest.’
We have been looking at FUNDAMENTALS OF KINGDOM WEALTH in our midweek teaching which is concluding today. This anchor scripture is what informs today’s teaching. Isaiah 51:1-3. So this heritage is accessible on an individual basis, it is not on a group-by-group basis. For the Lord has the same agenda for the redeemed, Zion is the Church of the firstborn. My plan is to empower my people for supernatural blessing after the order of Abraham. Then Jesus stepped in (Galatians 3:13-14). What a validation. From nothing to everything, that is Abraham’s story. Abraham didn’t have any luggage to pack because there was no place where the Bible said “and Abraham prepared”. Genesis 12. By Genesis 24:1, God had blessed them in everything. From nothing to everything. Church Gist. The truth remains that we have a heritage of financial fortune in redemption and it is not just undefinable, it is after the Abrahamic order of blessings that turns persons into nations. By Chapter 14, Abraham had turned into a nation, he had an army to himself with the legal right to take on the army of another nation. He had become a nation from a pern. So God’s prosperity for the redeemed is tied to the Abrahamic order of blessings. Not the kind of means of livelihood that got a car, got a house, got to pay children’s school fees. The blessing that turns you into a blessing is what we are talking about. The blessing that turns a needy into a blessing. Genesis 12:2. Abraham obeyed and the rest is beautiful history.
But we can’t experience the Abrahamic order of blessings without doing the works of Abraham. John 8:39. Romans 4:12 shows us the works of Abraham. The kind of faith that Abraham operated is the only kind of faith that can launch us into that realm of blessing. Church Gist. Romans 4:16. So the making of Abraham was the kind of faith he operated with. Let’s look at some steps of the faith of Abraham.
We discover that obedience was the stronghold of Abraham’s faith. From the time he showed up in Chapter 12, “get thee out of your father’s house to a nation I will show you… and so Abraham departed” obedience. “Circumcise all the male born in your household as a covenant between me and you” and as soon as God left, he began with himself. Church Gist. Genesis 17:17-23. Take thy son, thy only son, Isaac to a mountain that I will show you and offer him as a burnt offering. Abraham rose up early in the morning. If you watch this kind of faith, it is validated by prompt delightsome obedience.
He was an addicted giver. He took Lot along and yet gave Lot all that Lot wanted. When evil befell Lot, he rose up. Not my brother. He entertained and entertained until he entertained angels unawares. Church Gist. He was a most liberal soul. Genesis 13:5-10. Abraham grew to become an emperor with an army of 318 men. That is the level of blessing that He walked in.
He will sacrifice anything at God’s command. Anything! At God’s command which was how he secured his generations after him. Genesis 22:1-5. Let’s read verses 16 to 18 to see the place of obedience in that blessing. Obedience may be costly as I have said often but the end result is priceless. The generations of Abraham of which you are a part today by redemption are the most blessed people on the earth. We have the natural Jews on one side and then we have spiritual Jews on the other side. Remove the Church of Christ from the world and the world has become empty. Everything that adds real time value is out. Darkness can’t add value to darkness. We are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden, we are the ones given the grace of good works through the blessings and His Spirit at work in us. Church Gist. Just as Israel could not move from one place to another because of the darkness that could be felt. Without the light of the Church, the world will be finished. If the Church didn’t shout down Coro, it would have killed everybody. The light started breaking forth from every nation of the world, “Satan, no way”. He found nowhere to hide, as you run here light, you run there light. How do you survive, and you are darkness?
Facts to Note on the Abrahamic Order of Blessings.
James 2:18. Faith is fake without corresponding action. Now hear this, it will help you. Abraham hardly said anything as recorded in scripture but He just believed everything and obeyed everything to prove that He believed them and God confirmed everything. Faith has been watered down to confession. Faith is a kingdom profession. 2 Corinthians 10:3. Faith has been reduced to mere confession. Do you know why some people believe they are saved? They made confessions without repentance. Confession without repentance is not salvation, it is mental assent. It does not produce a change. Acts 3:19. Church Gist. Repent and be converted, not and confess. Be converted and a time of refreshing will come from the Lord. Many have never experienced that time of refreshing, so where is the evidence of your salvation? The tension you had before you met Jesus is still the tension you have now. Romans 14:17. Those things greet you into the kingdom. Without a change of lifestyle, salvation is fake. By their fruits, not by their words, we shall know them. Matthew 7:20. Right now you hardly can tell the difference between a believer and an unbeliever. In our growing up days, somebody does something nasty and they say you are a Christian, you start crying. There is almost no difference today except that we wear ties and coats and speak big grammar. What shall we do, men and brethren? Repent! That was the first salvation message we heard in the Upper Room. Without repentance, there can not be conversion and without conversion, there can not be repentance. They repented without words in the house of Cornelius. The Holy Ghost came on them and they turned their heart back to God. God saw that their heart was turned and He filled them with the Holy Ghost. Church Gist. So what do we do when we call people out? We tell them to ask Jesus to forgive their sins. Tell Him you are sorry for your sins, ask Him to save you. But if you just come and say some things and go back, nothing will happen. Nothing has changed inside. Until something changes inside, nothing changes outside. So we have heard people crying, they are crying for what they don’t have a right to. A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children, not his visitors and admirers. So you have to become a child of the Most High God to become a partaker of the inheritance of the father. It is never late to be right.
Hear this again, Abraham hardly said anything. He simply obeyed to prove that He believed what God said and God confirmed everything He said. He is a God of knowledge by whom actions are weighed. James 2:18, 26. While what we say is important, I mean no doubt about it because life and death are in the power of the tongue, it is only relevant when it is in line with what we do. It will only deliver when it is in line with what you do. James 1:22-25. Church Gist. You are the one God is talking about. For instance, saying I am saved and now born again without genuine repentance is merely playing with words. You are merely playing with words. Secondly, saying “I am prosperous” without doing what it takes to prosper will have no effect because God will not break His covenant by what we say. Psalm 89:34. What you say can’t alter my covenant.
What we do is a kind of spiritual seed and what we do only waters the seed. Watering an unsown field will not produce anything, you will harvest erosion. When we are in our spiritual rainy season, what we do is all that is important. You don’t water the field when the rain is falling. With a genuine walk with God, you are in a spiritual rainy season like Abraham. He never said, “I prosper. I am going forward”. He just did what God said. Because He was walking with God, he was perpetually in his rainy season. Whatever he did was a seed sown and the seed grew because there is water. That is what makes a revival time a unique time. The rain is falling and you are sowing the seed of obedience. It grows on its own.
I never said for once that we will build a 50,000 church. Never! To whom? For what? Or we will buy an aircraft or we will build a university. You just keep doing what He says, He keeps adding to you as you are due phase after phase, from level to level. We must come back to the Abrahamic order of faith that emphasizes obedience as the stronghold of our faith and watch the transformations that follow after. “This is the place,” He said. I didn’t have to pray “God is this really the place? I know I heard him and I didn’t have to confess. I just said go ahead, I just heard that God said this is the place. Is this not the place now? God said this is your church but you won’t come there. You will be roaming about town until you go to a shrine because you are too smart to obey God. ‘Pay your tithe and I will open the heavens’ No! I won’t pay my tithe but you must open the heavens. Church Gist. I will give you forty days of fasting. God has never eaten so your fast can’t move Him. I have been fasting now for forty days, forty what? A thousand years is like one day. Have you found where God ate in your Bible? God, where are you? And He said, “I am eating”. So you can’t use fasting to bamboozle God. Obedience is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22. The greatest names in Bible History were men who took God’s Word for it and went after it.
– May you never suffer spiritual drought.
– May you take advantage of obedience of faith in this rainy season.
Abraham was in a consistent walk with God. He was constantly in his spiritual rainy season, he could hear from God any moment and all that he believed was all that God confirmed through his act of obedience of faith. Therefore we must be committed to walking in the steps of the faith of Abraham if we must continue to experience the Abrahamic blessings. When his obedience is yours, that will be the outcome. When Abraham’s kind of obedience is yours then Abraham’s blessings will be yours every time, anywhere you are. I have said before that obedience may be costly but the end result is priceless as we saw in the life of Abraham. If you check Genesis 12, it was in thee shall all the nations of the earth be blessed” then He went on in Chapter 22, “in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. May you respond to what will leave a blessing for your generations after you? The good news is your financial heritage and birthright in redemption is settled, all you need is to engage the Abrahamic order of faith to step into it. Church Gist. The faith of prompt and delightsome obedience. Not of necessity, don’t do it grudgingly, God only accepts cheerful, delightsome obedient sons and daughters. Psalm 112:1-6. God said it, I believe it, that settles it. So anybody angry with your blessing God will just clear him. He won’t tell you that He is clearing anybody, He will just be clearing them on your behalf. The word ‘delight’ is very vital. Psalm 34:8. There has to be a delight, not a pang. If you want to be a Psalm 112 man, you better understand the first command – Delightsome obedience after the order of Abraham is what makes it happen.
Somebody once asked me “Brother David what do you do between the time you give and you receive? I said I am hearing for the first time from you that somebody should line up. What I gave yesterday, where is it? I am just hearing from you now Sir yet I have never lacked returns. Stop the bargaining my friend, God is more faithful than you and I. If you are faithful to obey Him because you believe Him, He is too faithful to deny Himself. Face your part, leave His part to Him. Pay your tithe, leave opening the windows of heaven to Him. Do you know where the keys are? You don’t even know where the gates are. So what is your problem? But you know where your tithe is, so give your tithe, He knows where the windows are and He has the key. Church Gist. They say He has the key of David, when He opens no man can shut. So what is your problem? Honour the Lord with thy substance not leftover, God is a shrine. don’t just throw currencies at God. You take four different alcohol every day and fail in the covenant, that is not life. When God blesses your little, it will become more than abundant. He blessed that seed of the widow of Zarephath and she was feeding from it for three years. Obedience! That is the mystery behind Isaiah 51:1-3 which is the anchor scripture for the midweek teaching series that we have had. The Abrahamic Kind of Blessings is accessible by the Abrahamic order of faith whose stronghold is obedience. May each one of us depart from here today with fresh grace for obedience.
Philippians 2:5-9. Obedience is that platform that leads to our supernatural advancement and breakthroughs in life. He made himself of no reputation. John 8:29, 5:30. May this night mark a new beginning for each one of our lives.
Your Church got here by raw obedience to His instructions that are not even written. It is hearing Him and believing Him, what of what is written which is texted seven times in fire? There is nothing to doubt in that book, it cannot be re-edited. Be careful of these translations you are carrying about. Many of them are not written by people who know God, they water it down completely. Church Gist. It cannot be re-edited. Obedience built this Commission. Obedience against all odds. Obedience that will leave in response to God’s command not knowing where you are going.
Are you happy to know that Abraham was a tither? Does it make sense to you? Can anybody flow in Abrahamic blessings without being a tither? Never. Hebrews 7 said Abraham paid tithe. Stop looking for shortcuts, make a straight path for your feet. With all sense of awe and humility, I have been under that open heaven since 1982. It may not look like open heaven to you and that is your problem but I have been under that open heaven of no begging, no borrowing, no lack. Open heaven. Your church came under that open heaven when the church began to give her tithe. I know what level we were as a church and what level we are now. Now to pay tithe from #10,000 profit is a problem. To pay tithe from #1000 is a problem, where are you going? Is that the man who will pay the tithe of 1 million? Is that the man who will pay a hundred million tomorrow? He proves you with little to determine where next to put you. If you fail with little you never see more. Church Gist. Can I tell you this? 100 days of prayer and fasting cannot bring you to prosperity. 100 days of fasting inside the forest, not in church. You stay inside the forest, you are with the beasts of the field, they are fighting you and you are fighting them. That won’t bring prosperity. It may bring you anointing for healing but not prosperity. For prosperity, you give and give rejoicing even when it is not working because of your confidence in the covenant of abundance. It opens up eventually. We were once in a batcher by the open heaven that we had. Now you are building churches around the world without a pinch, by following through. Galatians 6:9. If you faint, you fail. May the giving grace on this commission become your perpetual experience from now.
How many want to work in the realm of financial fortune that this Church is working in? Many of you have been in this Church for a long time, have you ever heard that this church made a distress call on projects, on funding? Beginning from this season as you apply yourself to this great light that heaven is showing us, your days of financial tension are over. It is not about what you have, it is the blessing that is on it. My wife is here, how were we feeding with the meager thing we collect as salaries? We were feeding on blessings. Church Gist. We have never spent one dime of your church money on our dining table. You better seek the blessing. Somebody said I have to pay tithe, I have to give to the poor, I have to give to parents, what will remain? Blessing. You better seek the blessing. What are you looking for? The Blessing of God that makes rich and adds no sorrow.

– you never tell the story in your life of when God used to bless you
– The blessings of God in your life will not become history.
We are having a special workers meeting this Saturday, our Leadership Empowerment Summit but this time around it will be central because we are ordaining a new set of deacons and deaconesses in the church. Church Gist. We are also getting matching orders for the few weeks that remain in pursuit of our OPERATION HIT YOUR TARGET. It shall be awesome.
Prosperity has become the identity of this commission globally. From this season on, it shall be seen in your life.
Beginning from where you are, God will start decorating you from one level to another, without playing games, without playing smart, walking straight, walking in righteousness in the name of Jesus.
I pray that the kind of stress-free abundance that this commission enjoys becomes your new experience. Church Gist. I pray that you will leave a heritage of it to your children, by ensuring they are walking in the same steps.
May everyone’s life here become a living example.
We are still on OPERATION HIT YOUR TARGET. Believe God to hit your benchmark of many that will cause your star to rise. Many stars will still rise in the course of this operation. Daniel 12:3. Earthly stars are temporal, kingdom stars are forever. Church Gist. Paul is still shining, Peter is still shining, Moses is still shining. That is the kind you are going to have. Look out for any embattled Winner who has thrown the towel, bring him back and God will decorate your life.
– I decree that the favour agenda of the week will speak loudest in your life.
– The remaining days, good news of favour will hit you, it will hit your family, your children will partake of it.
– No one gathers to mourn in your household anymore. No one will die young in your family.
– God will not give you to the will of the enemy.
