RCCG Special Sunday Service on the Wonders Of Divine Contacts
Isaiah 41:10-13
* Without any doubt we all know that our God is the Almighty according to Psalm 91:1.
* We all know He is unlimited in strength, Jeremiah 32:27.
* He is unlimited in wealth, Genesis 17:1, Psalm 24:1.
* He is also unlimited by age, Daniel 7:9, Exodus 3:15
Man is weak, man is an ordinary dust according Genesis 3:19. But whenever there is an encounter between God and man, a wonder occurs.
Example:
– The story of the leper in Matthew 8:1-3. The encounter between God and man brings healing.
– A double encounter between God and man produced not just healing but an information was passed to him that he won’t be sick again in John 5:2-14
– A triple encounter can lead to an amazement. The first time Samson had an encounter was in Judges 14:5-6. The second time in Judges 15:14-15 he had another encounter. In Judges 16:22-30, he had a triple encounter, and at this third encounter the people he killed were far more than he had killed in his life time.
A permanent encounter will be hard to describe. Isaiah 40:31
My prayer is that if you have never had a contact with God, before this service is over, you will have it in Jesus name.
A single divine encounter is enough to activate your destiny. Every person is born for a purpose,
Jeremiah 1:4-5.
Revelation 4:11
Joseph:
Genesis 50:15-20
Genesis 37:18-28.
Joseph’s brothers played a part for his purpose to be achieved. Genesis 39:7-20, Potiphar’s wife also played a part.
Genesis 40:1-23
Genesis 41:1-44
Finally through dreams, Joseph got to the throne.
I have a feeling deep within me that God has been moving someone from one place to another till today, that contact with God will ignite that destiny that has been laying dormant in you, suddenly you will begin to fulfill the purpose of God tonight.
Some people never fulfilled their purpose
2 Kings 5:20-27 talks about Gehazi. He would have had a double portion of the anointing but he ended up a leper.
I pray for someone listening to me, the purpose of God in your life will be fulfilled.
1. Moses:
Long before Moses was born, there was a prophecy, Genesis 15:13-16. The devil planned his death before he was born and Pharaoh started to kill every male child but God preserved Moses. Do you know how many times God has preserved you?
Exodus 2:11-2
He ran and was a fugitive for 40 years.
Only God knows how long you have been a fugitive.
Exodus 3:1-15. He had an Encounter and his life was not the same again.
2. Joshua:
The children of Israel were on their way to the promised land.
Exodus 17:8-14
Moses selected Joshua to lead an army. What motivated the choice of Joshua?
Exodus 32:15-28
Joshua had his own personal encounter in Numbers 27:18-23 and in Deuteronomy 34:9, Joshua was filled with the spirit of wisdom.
God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. You will not understand until the final moment when it comes.
You don’t know how many people God has orchestrated to bring you thus far. I have a feeling, this day is going to mark a turning point in your life.
3. Elisha:
Elijah had a servant before Elisha. 1 Kings 18:41-45.
1 Kings 19:1-3, he dropped that servant.
Do you know how many people have been dropped so you can fulfill your destiny?
In 1 Kings 19:15-16, God chose a new servant for Elijah. In 1 Kings 19:20-21 Elisha had his first encounter with God.
Listen to me my beloved, no matter how far you will try to run away from your destiny, the Almighty God will find you.
No matter how fast you are trying to run away from your destiny, it has a way of knocking you down from your horse. Ask Saul of Tarsus in Acts 9:1-22.
I believe today is your day, l believe the Lord will visit some of you today and before the sun rises tomorrow.
God has been calling on you to surrender, you can’t run anymore, surrender to Jesus now, let us pray to Him to save your soul and lead you to the fulfillment of your destiny. Say Lord save my soul and do with me whatever you want.
– Father, please visit me today and give me that encounter that will activate my destiny in Jesus name.
