-Pastor Sam Adeyemi at 2nd service, Daystar Christian Center on: ‘AFTER THE SABBATH’
Exodus 20:11 (NLT)
“For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day, he rested. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.”
The Sabbath speaks about rest. God gave us a word last year here at Daystar Christian Center and it’s the word ‘rest’. Rest is the foundational principle for living and we are designed for rest and from Exodus 20:11, you will see that God worked for six days and rested on the 7th day therefore establishing the principle of rest.
Exodus 20 – The Sabbath principle existed before the law. We’ve got to keep that in mind. So even though the law has expired the principle is still there. The purpose of the rest which is the Sabbath was alignment and realignment with God’s purposes and plans. The objective was intimacy with God and in the process of that intimacy, we download revelations from God and in downloading, we know what God designed for us to do and then we can find alignment with His plans and purposes or realignment when we are going off tangent. Leviticus 25:1-5
After the Sabbath what next? What do you do? What did God expect man to do after the seventh day?
- God supplies fresh purposes with new visions and new direction. Acts 13:1-2
I believe that this is a season of promotion for many of us. I believe it’s the season of shifting to higher callings, higher dimensions. I believe this is a season where God is asking many of us to scale up and to expand. So, it’s a season for new visions, a season for new dreams, a season for fresh direction and I prophesy: In the name of Jesus Christ, you will not miss heaven’s signal.
*Stay close to God in prayer
*Ask the Holy Spirit a lot of questions.
*Walk in step with the Spirit of God.
- Drop old mindsets. There is no point longing for the past or longing for the season that is gone. It is a new season now!
Now, we’ve got to let go of the old mindset of being victims, being under the spare or control of other people. This is the time to break the spell. This is the time to discover who you are in Christ. Let go of what we call fixed mindset.
*It is important that what you call yourself is who you are, what you believe is what you become.
*Romans 12:2 – when God takes us through the Sabbath season, He presses the reset button. The poor person becomes wealthy, the weak person becomes strong.
- After the Sabbath, it is time for you to unleash your creativity. Genesis 1:1-26
*We’ve been called to create, to innovate and to invent.
How do you unleash your creativity?
- Learn to be curious. Learn to gather information and gather ideas. It’s amazing the way it works. Ideas from other people knock off ideas in our minds to produce ideas that may never have existed before. The basic raw material for creating anything is ideas. There’s nothing that has value that man has created that did not exist first as an idea in somebody’s mind.
*Learn to read, travel, be open to ideas. Just gather them. Go online and read, don’t stay with only one narrow subject or topic.
- Don’t joke with your association, it has a huge impact on your thinking. Psalm 1:1, Proverbs 13:20
*Associating with some people will dull your creative edge and associating with some people will fire your imagination.
*Learn to do brainstorming with your friends, learn to be a team player, learn to associate with people that have ideas. It’s amazing two are better than one. - Find the right atmosphere for you to get eureka moments. Okay, those moments when you get flashes of inspiration.
*Learn to define the atmosphere that works best for you. Define atmosphere that helps you to be more creative. - Reflect deeply on nature. The closer you are to nature, the better. Create the right atmosphere for yourself.
- Don’t forget to take breaks when you’re getting busy. It always refreshes the mind.
- Experiment. Take actions, taste them. Try those ideas and in the process of doing that, new ideas will come to you.
So, we are in the season of creativity. I call you under God to create a new family. I call you under God to create a new business, start a new career. Shift to the next level in your finances, in your career, in every area of your life. It’s time to change things. It’s a season for us to unleash our creativity. Make that big move now!
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
-I prophesied in the name of Jesus, this is the season where the first is becoming the last and the last will become the first. If you were first before, I prophesy, you will jump further ahead in the name of Jesus Christ. If you were last before, then I prophesy your journey to becoming first in the name of Jesus Christ.
-I prophesy heaven will reach out to you this season. This season marks the end of stagnation for you in Jesus name.
-If you lost anything before, I prophesy a season of restoration has come now in the mighty name of Jesus. People will work for you like never before, doors of opportunity will open for you like never before, you will attract resources, you will command the flow of resources like never before in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
