* Nobody tries to explain when invited for an interview, “it was rain that stopped me.” No. You stop rain to get there because it is in your own interest.
* You are due for a change of story encounter.
* You are due for a dramatic change of story testimony.
SERVING GOD IS ESSENTIALLY SERVING OUR INTERESTS
It’s a mystery of the Kingdom (Job 36:11, Exodus 23:25-26).
1. Serving God guarantees our protection: He appointed 70 and the 70 returned with joy saying, “even devils were subject us in your name.” Jesus responded, “Yes, when I sent you, I empowered you to tread upon serpents and scorpions and all the powers of the enemies and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:1-2, 17-19).
When you are on the go for me, you are empowered to be protected against all satanic assaults and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
– Beginning from this hour, you suffer no more hurt from the wicked one any more in your life.
Go to all the world and preach the gospel – it’s what we call the great Commission.
Lo, I am with you always even to the end of the world (Matthew 28:20).
If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31). Being on the go for God keeps you in His company; if God be for you and me, who can be against us?
He goes with anyone that He sends; if God be for you and for me, who can be against us (Mark 16:20, Romans 8:31). This is so vital, this is so important.
The plan was concluded to consume Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace but the fire had no power on them (Daniel 3:23). The king came by the furnace and called forth these 3 men, “…servants of the Most High God, come forth out of the fire”
“Did we not cast 3 men into the fire, behold I saw 4 men (Daniel 3:24-25).
You are serving Him, you enjoy His company and that makes you indestructible. He goes with those who are genuinely serving Him.
– No one here shall suffer any more assault from the wicked one.
We saw in the case of Daniel:
“Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God whom thou servest continually able to deliver thee from the lions?” (Daniel 6:20).
He said: Yes. First time a man will sound out of the den of the lion
Servant of the living God!!!
Everyone genuinely serving God and the interests of His Kingdom is protected, shielded against all satanic assaults; that becomes your portion from now:
– Neither you or members of your household shall be hit by the devil and his wicked arrows anymore.
2. Serving God guarantees our supernatural change of story (Habakkuk 3:2, 17-19)
– Everyone is changing level this season. The God of surprises is manifesting Himself to everyone of us this time.
Suddenly, He made his feet like hind’s feet and got him up on his high places.
When Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of that fire, they were promoted: change of level.
Daniel came out of that den of lion: he was lifted above his enemies. All the people that ganged up against him were thrown back into the den of lions so that they won’t keep being hungry all day: broke them into pieces and ate them up.
You are changing level!!!
When Joseph slept the previous night, there was no sign that he would have a change of accommodation the following day. His case was not coming up that year or the year after, he was kept there (prison) permanently. Suddenly they sent for him and his story changed; from a prison house, he arrived in the palace.
You can imagine how he slept the following day: “this is your house, this is your bedroom.”
I don’t think he slept, he must have just sat down: “Is this true? If I sleep and they say I made a mistake!”
– The God of surprises will visit you.
The parable of the talents: one of them said, “I have made 10 pounds more from the 1 pound you gave me” – Change of story
Response: You have been faithful over a little thing; now have thou authority over 10 cities (Luke 19:17). From 1 pound to 10 cities. Supernatural change of story.
– In the same vein, everyone of us engaging with Jesus in this awesome prophetic season, you will be hit with such supernatural change of story testimonies.
The other one came: I made 5 more (Luke 19:18)
Response: Have thou authority over 5 cities (Luke 19:19).
Everyone with results experienced a change of story. God does not reward efforts made, He rewards results obtained. Endeavour to have results. No devil can stop God from changing your story. Where was the devil in that parable? No, he is not relevant; he is not part of the equation.
Most of the time, we keep looking for one devil to blame or another. Obey God and you will see how helpless the devil.
You can’t repent and the devil says, “you can’t be saved.” There is no devil in hell who has that power.
If you repent; the devil: No, you can’t be saved, NOT YOU; you think it’s for people like you.
No, there is no devil who can stop you from getting healed when you believe.
There is no devil who can stop God from changing your story if you serve Him productively. He rewarded their results not their age, not their experience. It’s over you.
– There shall be massive change of story order of testimonies in the course of this prophetic season. If you believe your own is there, let me hear your loudest Amen!
Remember, “He that winneth souls is wise; the wise shall inherit glory” (Proverbs 3:35) – change of story.
No matter where you are, no matter what issues are confronting you, no matter what the comments of mankind have been, no matter how rejected you have been among your peers, your family members: every soul winner is called a wise believer and the wise shall inherit glory.
– That means, that this season marks the end of shame and reproach in every form in everyone’s life. If you believe that includes you, let me hear your loudest Amen!
It also means that no one will ever ask you again from now, “where is your God?”
Remember: “in the multitude of people is the king’s honour; He that honours me, I will honour”
– It is just your turn to be honoured.
– The honour that comes from God can come from any corner of the world. The honour that comes from God will visit many Winners in this prophetic season. If you believe yours is listed, let me hear your loudest Amen!
When you partner with Jesus in a revival, like this one is, He said, “I will upturn your captivity, I will undo all that afflicts you; I will give you praise and fame where you have been put to shame” (Zephaniah 3:17-19).
These are all the things that are packaged in your own interest for serving Him:
– I am due for a change of story encounter.
– I am due for a dramatic change of story testimony.
– I am due for new levels order of testimony. So help me Jesus to obtain results in my stewardship in this awesome season. I believe You and I believe in your prophets that it is my turn at last!!! Not with eye service as men pleasers but as servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart.
SPEAK TO THE DAY
We have today, tomorrow, to prove where our hearts is. I refuse to come empty to Church next Sunday. Those I brought last Sunday must come along this Sunday and I’m coming back with new ones.
I know that when my cloud is full, my rain will fall. I serve a covenant keeping God.
When I hit His benchmark of many, my star will rise. So I receive grace, to make the most of this prophetic season, knowing that it is in my own interest.
Well the good news is that this season is ordained for your change of story. You can’t truly believe that it is in your interest and you need to be pushed to do it. Everything in your own interest enjoys self-motivation, inner drive, strong inertia, unstoppable zeal because it is in your own interest.
That’s why nobody tries to explain when invited for an interview, “it was rain that stopped me.” No. You stop rain to get there because it is in your own interest. Serving God is absolutely in your own interest and my own interest. All of us who will follow that fully will never lack great stories to tell. It’s your turn to tell your story.
