God‘s word is His manual for our profitable living. When our steps are ordered in His word, our future is secured. Psalm 128:1. Lift your hands and ask God to open you up to His ways today. Let every siege over your family be over today. Let every siege over your biological lineage be over today. Show me the way out, show me the way forward, show me the way upward Jesus.
Lord Jesus we all wait on you for a world from you, let no one return disappointed. Let every heart be opened to receive your sayings and let your name be glorified. Let the unsaved in this service be saved today. Let the saved receive your world and be established. Church Gist. Lord visit every family represented here. Let every concern be turned into a testimony in the name of Jesus. So shall it be.
Again, the prophetic focus for the month is captioned WORD PRACTICE SECURES PROFITABLE LIVING. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. The blessings respond to your committed word practice, they shall come to you and overtake you. It covers all areas of human life up until verse 13. That’s how powerful word practice can be. Breakthrough unlimited.
Very quickly, we should always learn lessons from testimonies. This young man got a job given to him by God and through that job, he disconnected from God. God took the job from him because He wants his soul back. Came under some stress so he can come back to life. The future of every tree is tied to the roots. Any tree that is rootless has no future. The future of every branch is tied to remaining in the vine. A disconnect from the root is the death of the vine, a disconnect from the vine is the death of the branch. Please listen to me, there are many people that had heavy testimonies yesterday and today they are under trial. There is a disconnect between them and God. You better stop pulling your shoulders. You don’t beat the root, the root bears you. His blessings have never been reversed till date. Every blessing I used to know got multiplied. Stay connected, you are not doing God a favour. He suffered pepper until he learnt his lesson. Romans 11:17-18. The future of every tree is in staying connected to the root. You don’t know your weakness until you disconnect. Church Gist. You dry up fast. The world will not fall when you dry up. Everybody needs this meekness, this humility. God doesn’t need you for anything, you need him for everything. The root does not need the tree, it is the tree that needs the root. The olive does not need the branch, it is the branch that needs the olive. All these “I am not coming” “I am too busy for God” when you dry up you will know that you need the root, the root does not need you.
I am afraid of this blessing era, some have been blessed off into hell. I have prayed several times, Jesus whatever you put in my hand that won’t let your hand reach me, please don’t let me have it. Whatever you will bring me into that won’t let me hear your word, don’t bring me into it. Church Gist. You better secure your soul. Stay connected. Psalm 128. When you are connected, it shall be well with thee not well with God, it is always well with God. Happy shalt thou be by walking in His ways.
- This your eyes will not see evil again.
Very quickly this morning, we begin our series of teachings for our Sunday Services this month captioned UNVEILING OUR BREAKTHROUGH HERITAGE IN THE WORD. Every child of God is redeemed as a breakthrough entity (Matthew 5:16), a pacesetter, a pathfinder, a trailblazer. You are the salt of the earth, one that will be sorted after by men and women of value. That is what redemption offers us. Church Gist. The question is what are the details of this breakthrough heritage as contained in the word. Remember the word is God’s mirror that paints God’s picture of the redeemed. James 1:22. God’s word is the mirror of life that paints the picture of the redeemed in God’s view.
- In the name of Jesus, these pictures will become great features of your life.
Our inheritance is locked up in the word and it is opened only by revelation. Acts 20:32. This book contains all of our inheritance in redemption. 2 Peter 1:3. Revelations are keys of the kingdom of heaven that allows us access to our heritage in Christ. Matthew 16:19. You can access any department of the storehouse of heaven with the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Luke 11:52. Revelation is key to accessing our inheritance in Christ.
However, while this inheritance is real we can only access and take delivery as far as our eyes can see. Genesis 13:14-15. Our inheritance is not accessible and can not be deliverable without being able to see it from His word. Some have never seen healing so they keep struggling with poverty. Some are yet to see prosperity in redemption so they keep wallowing in poverty. Some are yet to see peaceful, harmonious marriage heritage in Christ so they keep patching, managing and struggling. High temperature every day. As far as your eyes can see. Some don’t even believe in anything called a breakthrough. Church Gist. When people were sick in those days, we thanked God that God will teach them the lesson they need to know. That was the level of revelation we had. When you buy a good car in those days, you are already in hell. Any car above beetle is unrighteous. Churches were meeting in primary school, hired halls without payments. Poverty sat on the Church because we could not see our prosperity heritage in redemption. We preached the poverty we know with every energy and passion. “scarcely shall a rich man enter into the kingdom of God. How many want to enter into the kingdom of God? Beware of riches”. 😆😆😆.
One of our daughters was in Ife and a passionate preacher came to preach on suffering. If we suffer for Him, then we shall reign with Him. Many want to offer their life for suffering? So they came out. That our daughter spent nine years of Masters. Church Gist. Do you know suffering? They call it long suffering. You would have finished your PhD but you are suffering for Christ. It was when she was reviewing her life that she said that was when her trouble began.
Jeremiah 1:11-12. The brighter you see the faster He performs it. I, therefore, curse every siege of spiritual ignorance over anyone’s life.
What are some of our heritage of breakthroughs in scriptures?
- By redemption, we share divinity with Christ which connotes our Dominion on the earth.
When we are saved according to Ephesians 2:5-6, we are raised together with Him and made together with Him in heavenly places. In Ephesians 1:21, this place is located far above principalities and power. Redemption equals man’s dominion on the earth. When you are saved, you are raised together with Christ and made to sit with Him in heavenly places. Church Gist. Salvation equals the exchange of our human life for eternal life, the free gift of God. Romans 6:23, John 3:16. We are raised together, now we become members of the household of God operating in the realm of God’s dominion on the earth.
- Therefore every harassment in your life comes to an end today.
You just need to see that you are not just an ordinary human being struggling for survival. Redemption has repositioned us for dominion. “Where are you running to young man? You are a shame to the Liberation Mandate. I stood. What you need is light, go for light. Church Gist. I went for light”. He got married, and his sister got married and had a baby. Father had his first grandchild at 83. Light came and shattered the realm of darkness. In the same vein, whatever has not been working in your family lineage, the light of God’s word today will bring an end to it.
We are redeemed to command dominion, we are not redeemed to continue to struggle. You have received dominion over Satan, over sickness and disease, over marital delay, over generational curses, over misfortune. We are redeemed to command dominion.
- We are born again as supernatural beings.
John 3:8. Every child of God is redeemed as a sign and a wonder to his world. You can’t tell where it is coming from, you can’t tell where it is going. You hear the sound and the signs follow through. Isaiah 8:18. We are redeemed as a sign and a wonder to our world not as a shame and a reproach.
- Therefore, every air of shame and reproach gets off every worshiper’s life today and gets off your family finally today.
- Redemption makes us a peculiar people, a royal priesthood, a chosen generation to show forth the praises of Him. (1 Peter 2:9).
He has called us into His marvellous light to live a marvellous life. A life of honour, a dignifying life. We are redeemed as priests and kings to reign on the earth. Revelation 5:10. There is no disadvantaged nation. God is not white, God is not black. God is God. There is nothing anywhere else that is not where you are in Christ. Running from pillar to post doesn’t change stories, having a genuine root in Christ is what secures the glorious future of every believer. We have zero input from any foreign mission nation in this ministry. We teach the world how to depend on God to make your marks on the earth. Even our missions don’t send resources here by law. Church Gist. Rather we send resources to those nations for the expansion of the work. Where are you getting these things from? From heaven by working in His ways, no games or gimmicks. No borrowing, no begging, no overdraft. Just get to know Him, Daniel 11:32. Those who know their God shall do exploits, not those who go to Canada, to Australia, to India, to Malaysia, those who know their God.
- Your days of struggling to make things happen are over.
All you need is light. We have zero input from any government in Nigeria whether local, state or federal and they know. Light has never gone off in Canaanland since 1999. They don’t use mouth to get power. You invest resources to sustain power. Have we ever raised an offering for power here? Never!
- God will ease your life.
- The days of tension are finally over in your life.
- You never live a pitiable life anymore.
- We are redeemed to be prosperous and not be paupers.
Psalm 66:12. What redemption does is bring us out of poverty and penury through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ into a wealthy place. 2 Corinthians 8:9, Revelations 5:12. Church Gist. Those were packages in heaven when Jesus rose from the dead.
- Your days of scratching for what to eat, begging for where to lay your head, and struggling for clothes to wear are finally over.
To access this bountiful heritage in the word, two things to do.
- You must be born again.
An unborn child can’t see anything. He is covered by blood, covered by flesh. John 3:3. Mark 4:11. Those who are not born again can’t access the mysteries in the word only the stories. Church Gist. They can’t access revelation, they can only access information. The story will not impact anyone’s life, it is the light that does. - One must be spiritual
The Corinthian Church was born again, they spoke in tongues like water. 1 Corinthians 3:3. One can be born again and still be carnal. Why must you be spiritual? 1 Corinthians 2:14., Romans 8:6. Be spiritual. You spend all your time on television watching nonsense, you now carry your Bible you will see nothing Sir. You spend all your time chatting, young people, you can’t see anything. Plug your ears so you can’t hear from God. I have never seen a generation so controlled by vanity as the youths. Listening to music from morning till night is gross irresponsibility. You can’t learn it in old age, you better learn it now. There is no modern Bible. It is the same old Bible. Do you know any old fashioned sun or moon or star? There is no new generation truth, truth is truth, take it or leave it. The time to think is not there for many of our youths. They just run into business without studying about business. Church Gist. Do you think BSc in Business Administration is equal to business success? That is information on businesses that are working, now go and find out how to make your own work. Do you think PhD Mechanical Engineering equals a successful motor engineering workshop? He will spoil your car for you for nothing. Young people wake up. If you don’t do what your fathers do, you will never see what your father saw. Follow after the right thing. Isaiah 51:1-3. Get serious about life and make the most of it. I once said those who make news don’t watch the news. They are busy making news for those who will watch it. Don’t go away and just stay hypnotized by your phones. “Why are they fighting in Spain?” Are you a peer to the Foreign Minister? What is the problem? Oh my Gosh! Accident in Yugoslavia. The one that is happening next to you are you aware?
- It’s a brand new day for you.
- You will not sell your birthright for a morsel of meat.
Lift your hand and thank God for your marvellous heritage in Christ and for what to do to get across to it.
Today is our Covenant Family Day, let’s run through these very simple steps to coming under the Abrahamic order of blessings which is God’s agenda for the redeemed. Galatians 3:13-14. God’s agenda is to bring the redeemed under the Abrahamic order of blessings that is generational in content.
- No one in your own family will miss God on earth.
- Your children will be more fervent than you in their walk with God.
- They will be more passionate than you in their walk with God.
Genesis 22:18. That is the Abrahamic order of blessings, it is transgenerational. That is the one you are coming under today in the name of Jesus Christ. The first family created by God came under blessings from the mouth of God directly. God loves to have our families blessed. Genesis 1:27-28. That is God’s attitude to families.
- The curse of barrenness is broken today.
That’s God’s heart concerning families. - Therefore in the name of Jesus, whatever represents a curse in everyone’s family is averted today.
- Every form of spells and enchantments are rendered null and void on any family here today.
- The spell of working and working without anything to point to is broken today.
- Sweating and sweating and not being able to identify the product of that sweat is over today.
- The spell of failed marriages, the spell of marital delays, whatever represents a marital siege is declared over in every family today.
God wants us saved and our household, so He visited the household of Cornelius through Peter and everyone got saved, speaking in tongues in tongues openly. That is God’s agenda. Therefore every unsaved person in your lineage, I pray that God will visit them in a unique way. God is interested in the salvation of your household, therefore everyone in your immediate family or extended family, I decree their salvation today in the name of Jesus. Church Gist. So we should demand for the salvation of our household for that is the will of God. Every episode of scriptures is an expression of the will of God. 1 John 5:4, 14-15. Let’s make demands on the salvation of members of our household.
To secure the rescue of our family members, we must recognize that every child of God has been redeemed from the curses of the Iaw and brought under the blessings of Abraham. Not only that, He rescues people through any of His beloved. He rescued Israel through Joseph. You are a Joseph to that family and through you, everyone under any siege will be liberated. Someone came here on one of these Covenant Day of Family. Church Gist. They used to record death in their family, somebody asked another one “Is it only burial they do in your family?” It was as bad as that. Jesus stepped in and the siege was over. For being here today, every Satanic siege on your family shall be broken off.
Someone gave his testimony after 10 years that God rescued that family from regular death. It was his turn because he had already started coughing blood and that is how they all died. He came in 2006 and that yoke was broken by the power of God he gave his testimony in 2016, they had not recorded any death.
Genesis 30:27, 49:4. You are that Joseph in your family. You are that Jacob to your family and through your proper standing in God, the siege over that family is finally over.
Genesis 45:7. That is the privilege of the redeemed to their family. Stand there as a Joseph and every noticeable wickedness you see, stand there and say No! You are going to get results.
- Every negative thing you used to know about your family lineage is turned into your favour.
We saw a man at 83, having the first grandchild. That is the wickedness of the devil my friend. That young man stood there on behalf of that family and that yoke was broken. You are the next in line.
We must recognize that our obedience as individuals is a gateway to a world of all round blessings for our families. Psalm 112. Our strong stand in God covers our generations after us. Church Gist. Therefore, expect that the quality of your walk with God today will impact your children and your children’s children. Therefore don’t toy with your walk with God. Get serious about it. That is God’s agenda.
One way to keep that lineage of blessing going is to enter into a covenant and receive grace to stay in there. The outcome of the covenant to serve God is round about rest. It is not enough to enter into that covenant but to abide there, trusting God for help. Forget about one old man around you, one old woman beside your house. Forget about witches and wizards, forget about occultic powers. None of them can come near the covenant. Church Gist. If you can’t stop the sun and the moon, you can’t stop the covenant. Just walk genuinely in the covenant. You render them helplessly helpless. You render them helpless in the day, helpless in the night. Just cut a covenant to serve God all the days of your life, the blessings that accrue are irreversible. Stop playing games with God.
2 Chronicles 15:19. There was no more war for 20 years until King Asa put the covenant aside. I decree that every family begin to live in that war-free zone of life. Just like darkness can’t wait for light when you become lighted in Christ, darkness can’t wait. You step in, it steps out. It is one thing to have light and it is another thing to be light. Walking in the light shows the weakness of darkness. Serving God is keeping company with God and God is light. When you stay with that covenant, darkness stays clear from your path. You have rest round about. Church Gist. Do you know why this church has rest? An avowed position in the covenant of serving God. Everything works because wherever God is, everything works. In the name of Jesus, no one will sell off his birthright for a morsel of meat.
- Every negative concerning your family is overturned.
- You will sing your new song. You will hear the news.
Exodus 23:25-26.
These are all the things the devil wants to defy but when you commit yourself by a covenant to serve God, you clear him off the road. Jeremiah 33:20-21. When you enter into a covenant with me, it is binding and only the force that can stop the sun and the moon will stop it.
- Therefore, from today every blessing which accrues to those who serve God shall begin to manifest in your life.
- Whatever the forces of hell have held in that family shall be released today.
- Every generational curse tormenting anyone’s family shall be broken today.
- Every word proclaimed over your family today shall come to pass with speed and so shall it be.
By a clear prophetic signal, every Sunday of this month shall be an anointing service. For today, what is in the anointing oil? The power that destroys Satanic yokes is in the oil. Isaiah 10:27. Anoint your home, anoint the pictures of your family members who are not here. Whatever siege is there, Jesus will clear it. That young man took the oil back to His village and anointed the place “wherever you are and you are killing my brothers and sisters today is your end”. Church Gist. He had lost so many of them, every two years they were dying. It came to an end. As you anoint the ground of your place, every wicked siege over that lineage shall be destroyed forever.
- You will never see armed robbers in your dwelling place again.
- Whatever makes you labour and another one carries away will never be part of your portion again.
Exodus 30:31. It is not a Church doctrine, it is a generation doctrine inaugurated by God Himself. We saw the oil in the hand of Samuel as he anointed Saul as King. We saw the oil in the hand of Samuel as he anointed David as King. We saw God anointed Jehu to destroy the house of wickedness. We saw the oil in the hand of Jesus, He gave it to his disciples. They anointed as many that were sick and healed them. Church Gist. We saw the oil on the hand of the apostles. So it is a transgenerational doctrine. The effect is to trigger supernatural breakthroughs. It is to bring healing, health and wholeness. Today as the Joseph to your family as this oil comes on your head, you are going forth as an agent of preservation to your lineage.
- Ups and down must end there.
- Shame and reproach must end there.
- Uncertainties must end there.
Somebody here came from a family where all graduates die at age 50. At 47 you are just getting ready. That was the siege of that family. He came under the anointing and he gave his testimony at 50. He was the first one to cross 50. Whatever has held down any aspect of anyone’s life by this anointing, it shall be destroyed.
In the precious name of Jesus, you are on this curse free ground.
- Your life and that of your family are declared curse free.
- Your life and that of your family come under the canopy of Abrahamic blessings.
- You will testify.
- You must testify.
- The siege is over in the name of Jesus.
- There shall be diverse marriages in various families.
- There shall be bringing forth of children to those they say will never have children.
- There shall be peace in every home that is suffering tension.
- Your endeavours will experience a breakthrough.
It shall be so.
May no one here ever get tired of serving God. Don’t hold back your service, don’t choke your destiny. Let serving God become the undying passion of your soul. I have walked that path for many years, many people are here who have been walking that path.
- In the name of Jesus, you never hold back to anything that is adding value to your life.
