Light World Mission International Church was founded by Dr. Prophet Leslie Nsame (the African Prophet) in 2004. It started as a home cell but grew over the years in number and impact. Light World Mission is commissioned for the restoration of mankind and the advancement of the Kingdom of God amongst men by the power of the Holy Spirit. This great Mission believes in the in-depth teaching and preaching of the word and the winning of souls.
By the grace of God, Light World Mission has several branches all over the national territory and in different nations of the world. Branches of the church are found in various neighbourhoods in Yaoundé and in other towns of Cameroon – Buea, Ngoundere, Ebolowa, Tole, Bamenda, Douala, Sa’a amongst others. The church is equally found in the Philippines, France, Cote D’Ivoire, Central African Republic, South Africa and most recently Malawi. The headquarters, which is situated in Yaoundé (Biscuiterie – Behind Boulangerie Francaise) counts over 2000 members in attendance in it’s two services every Sunday.
Light World Mission equally owns a Bible school known as World Missions Academy, an institution which has graduated over 300 students as of present. The church also operates a charity organisation called the Charity Foundation which has provided aid to many people over the years. The Nursery, Primary, Secondary and High schools owned by the church are devoted to training pupils and students in excellence and in the fear of the Lord. The church also has a Television Channel known as Light TV which is viewed in over 54 countries and produces a Daily Devotional in French and English known as Daily Light which is distributed in many parts of Yaoundé.
Dr Leslie Nsame is a holder of a Doctorate Degree in Divinity obtained in the El Theological University in Nigeria. He has an unquenchable thirst for the restoration of the glorious church before the second coming of Christ and has travelled to over 8 countries in the world to preach the gospel. Prophet Leslie runs a famous monthly non-denominational programme known as Son, Rise, a gathering which has made waves in and out of the country. His peculiar revelations from the Word of God have earned him the name, “Le Rhematologue”. Brother Leslie, as he likes to be called, also operates in the gifts of deliverance, word of wisdom and knowledge, healings, prophecies and the testimonies are countless. He is happily married to missionary, Vangeline Nsame.
