Power according to Papa is the ability to effect a change.
Pathway is the direction to which something or someone moves.
Divine lifting is simply God’s unlimited blessing. Praise the Lord!
Pathway to Divine Lifting is the ability to effect by taking the right direction to access God’s unlimited blessings. ChurchGist. God’s desire for us is to succeed, to prosper and increase. But God cannot decide for us, it is our decision to make either to succeed or not. 3rd John 2, obedience is the major ingredient in accessing God’s blessing. Obedience according to Papa is the practical adherence to God’s instruction, it is the behavior that is always respectful and mindful of laws and rules.
Obedience is doing what you know or doing what you’re told to do, it is following duly what God’s Word says irrespective of your present or prevailing circumstances. It is simply taking God’s word as your final authority and responding to its demand. ChurchGist. The Word of God is a combination of rules, laws, requests and instructions which must be obeyed to guarantee divine lifting in our Christian adventures. As we obey this simple instruction, I see you been lifted high in the name of Jesus. Our dominion in life is not possible without obedience. According to Papa, a journey of obedience is a journey that ends with all round blessings, it is a journey that ends well.
Isaiah 1:19, the goods of the land are already available but your obedience is required to access them. The goodness of the Lord will not make the land good; the land is already good but your obedience is required to access all of them. ChurchGist. God honours the obedient and he listens to the obedient. Papa is always obedient to God and God has honoured him on every side. God will honour you in the name of Jesus Christ. Matthew 16-19A, obedience will reveal the right key for your way out for divine lifting, God has given you a lot of keys, it’s only obedience that can reveal the right key that will give the access to your divine lifting. ChurchGist. God will identify that key for you in the name of Jesus Christ. The most powerful lifestyle Jesus left for us is a life of obedience.
Philippians 2:8-9, Papa said “Obedience is the shortest access to the blessings of God” Job 36:11, you must serve God to go up. If you’re interested in going up then you must serve God, service is a pathway for lifting and greatness in the House of God. ChurchGist. Your service is not complete until you’re a soul winner, no matter how obedient you are, if you’re not a soul winner you’re a disobedient child.
Permit me to say this, if you’ve been in this Commission for 1 – 4 years and you’re not interested in Kingdom advancement prayers, you’re not interested in soul winning then you’re not saved. Even Papa no matter how busy his schedule is, he makes time to go out for soul winning every Saturday. ChurchGist. If soul winning is not an agenda for you, when next Papa is preaching and he makes an altar call, please come out so that we can do a proper follow up on you.
Papa said “Great manifestations are not just products of information but they are products of applied information. Knowing what to do and doing it guarantees your desired result. John 6:5, until you know what to do, divine lifting is not guaranteed, you must know what to do and you must not just know it, you must apply it.
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT OBEDIENCE
1) Obedience must be done promptly. Delayed obedience is disobedience. Psalm 119:60.
2) It must be done cheerfully. Romans 7:22, you must obey and serve God cheerfully and joyfully. ChurchGist. It takes a cheerful heart to obey God’s instruction. Do not see God’s instructions as a burden else it will be difficult for you to obey. Also, do not murmur or grumble. Philippians 2:14, if you know the formulae of conversations? Just convert every murmuring and grumbling into obedience and you will succeed in the name of Jesus.
Burning passion and desire for the promotion of God’s Kingdom can provoke instruction for divine lifting, sometimes you don’t need to wait for divine instruction, look around the Kingdom of God if you have that burning passion and desire, you will know what to do for God, by so doing God will give you a divine direction because he knows your heart. You can only be cheerful to obedience when you are not keen to material things, just like what Papa said.
3) It must be done consistently. The act of obedience must be done continually, it is not once and for all rather it should be once and again. Psalm 119:44.
FACTORS THAT TRIGGER OBEDIENCE
1) Love for God, if you love God, to obey him will not be difficult. If you find it difficult to obey God then you do not love him. 1st John 5: 3, John 14:15.
2) Trust in God. The difference in people is the voice they trust, nothing and nobody can change your life until you change the voice you honour. Which voice do you honour? It takes trust in God to obey God and to enjoy all round blessings, because God is not a man that he should lie. ChurchGist. It’s only the voice of God that you can listen to and he will not deceive you. Today, as you obey the voice of God and do all that you’re commanded I see your life going up in the mighty name of Jesus.
Trust is the absolute confidence and dependence in God, absolute confidence in God will make you obey him, we must have faith that stands in the integrity of God’s word that he cannot fail. Hebrews 11:16
3) Total submission. The finality of God’s word is to rule, order and direct every area of our lives when you are dead to self and alive to God, obeying God becomes very easy. ChurchGist. Jesus submitted his will to the will of his father and that made him to obey him in all circumstances and in every situation. John 12:24, you need to get to a point where anything God tells you; you are out to do it without delay. May God give you that grace to obey in the name of Jesus.
Papa said “Everywhere obedience was in place there is lifting in display” whenever the Holy Spirit says “Give” obey promptly and do not bind and cast such voice in order not to bind your destiny. ChurchGist. When such voices come obey them, the Devil cannot tell you to give. Anytime you hear giving, it is the voice of God, Glory Reign is just by the corner ask yourself what have I given? Am I in a service group? Have I done anything? Am I praying for the Kingdom? Ask yourself these questions even after today.
BENEFITS OF OBEDIENCE
1) it is the master key to all round blessings. Deuteronomy 28:1, I just saw two words in this scripture. The first one is “IF” if is a conditional word, so God cannot decide for you, if you want to be lifted up you do have a choice. ChurchGist. You have to obey him. The second word is “ALL” If you’re obeying him, you have to obey him in all. Physically, spiritually and financially you have to obey God, you cannot sow to God anyhow and you’re not in any service group that is disobedience and the moment you do this all the blessings are yours.
2) It is your ladder to a greater height. Deuteronomy 28:1
3) It guarantees unlimited prosperity and all-round blessings. Jude 36:11. Papa said “Poverty is the product of disobedience”.
4) It makes you have good success. Joshua 1:8
5) It delivers the good things of life to you. Isaiah 1:19.
6) It provokes divine wisdom. Matthew 11:24-27.
7) It guarantees progress in life. Proverbs 4: 18.
Praise the Lord! As you hear all instructions and you take note of them and you obey them, every struggle in your life, career and business is over in the name of Jesus.
REASONS FOR DISOBEDIENCE
1) Lack of faith in God.
2) Tradition Mark 7:13
3) Willful disobedience like Saul. Some people no matter how you preach to them they will not obey.
4) Some people think that it is impossible to please God. 1st John 5:3.
5) Trust in self. 1st Corinthians 4:7. If God has given unto you, why then is it difficult for you to give back to God. Papa said “how long are you going to stay with those accumulations” it is better when you’re alive that you use all your resources for the promotion of the kingdom.

Give God thanks this morning again for the Word that we have just heard. Give Him thanks for answers to our prayers as we have prayed. Give Him thanks for those amazing testimonies that have always attended to us in this Commission. Give Him glory and praise, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
There are faith building books and there are faith breaking books, so we need to be very sensitive. Church Gist. The world is a market place and it is full of fakes. There is no country without fake currencies, so they keep building machines and equipment to tell which one is original, which one is fake. They look so much alike. There was a book that Darwin read that misled him and misled the entire world at a time. That was the birth place of evolution, because his father was a monkey before he graduated into a man. We must be careful Sir.
When this move began, I had a very close friend of mine, he was reading the books of the ancient times instead of studying the current moves and it impacted negatively on his life. The issue of baptism of the Holy Ghost was fading in his life, his tongues were drying up and I am sure it was a lot of consequence on his life. Be careful. Apostles without proofs are not worthy of learning under. Church Gist. Prophets whose words never come to pass; they are not the ones sent from God. Pastors where people are not growing under his pastorate: spiritual growth, social growth; he is someone to be bothered about.
Fakes everywhere, there is no nation that is exempted. Plenty of fake Naira, plenty of fake Dollars. Plenty of fake Pound Sterling. Be guided by the Spirit. What I do is read up the individual author and find out whether he is going to where I am going or not. If he is not going there, no problem. I got a book one time on the Holy Ghost, but it was a mockery of the Holy Ghost, I cancelled all the pages as if I was tearing it from the Publishing House. There are anti-prosperity books: you will read it, you will just settle for poverty permanently. You will settle for poverty as your new heritage.
There is need to be sensitive and very selective in the materials we read. Church Gist. Don’t keep the ones that does not bless you on your shelf, your children may pick it: “I took it from your shelf, what are you talking about?” Anybody can…any day: you kept it, so he took it. -In the name of the Lord Jesus, in our effort to build our faith, we will not run into wrong materials. -The Holy Ghost will direct you to the right stuff needed to stir up your faith at every point in time.
If you want to build your faith, go to those who sell it. You want Church growth, go to those who grow Churches. You want books on leadership, go to those who have proofs of leadership in their lives. That is the way it is. I have a very close respected person around me who teaches on Church growth, tremendous research work but I don’t read his materials. I refer to it once a while, but I go for those who build Churches. I don’t want to be a Professor of Church growth, I want to see Church grow, so I invest my time on what I am looking for. You don’t go to a library, pick a book and read the whole volume. No. You look for the chapter that addresses what you are searching for. You know I may be a mobile library to acquire knowledge. Just look for the right thing and get it. -My prayer, I have plenty of faith books. I read a bit of them to pieces and because I am looking for faith, to build my faith, so I look for where faith is, even the Word of faith which we preach. I have never seen any giant of faith, whether in Bible history, in our contemporary times who is not a student of the Word of faith. Your faith can’t grow by wishing. It grows by working at what makes it grow. -In the name of Jesus Christ, no one’s faith will die in his heart. Faith is what executes our spiritual authority, I therefore decree that whatever He has shown you on this mountain, will keep working in your life. The light He showed you in your private study, in your private prayers, in the name of Jesus, will not be theoretical in your life. And so shall it be.
Thank You Lord for a brand-new day. The third day of this module, set us on our feet. Keep us on our feet. Keep us running in the right direction. Let every prayer prayed today in our lives, all through the day receive prompt response. Let everyone we pray for today receive answers. Let every issue we take up concerning the Church today enjoy speedy answers. Your place in this great year will not be lost. Your new name will be made fully manifest. You are more than a conqueror; you will never suffer defeat anymore. The day is declared opened and it is declared opened in your favour. So shall it be. Thank You Father, take all the glory in the name of Jesus Christ. Give Him thanks again for today. Give Him thanks again for this third day.

Thank You for honouring Your word, honouring the sacrifice of Your people in the fast with multiply miracles and signs and wonders; we are eternally grateful Lord. Thank You Master, in Jesus precious name.
Jeremiah 6:16 I welcome everyone here this evening to this explosive Service of Communion. Tonight, subject is: HINDRANCES TO DIVINE DIRECTION. Our objective tonight is to understand the things that hinder people from receiving or hearing from God. It is important to know as we have established that divine direction is a life saver; divine direction is a destiny saver. Church Gist. Human lives and destinies are literally anchored on direction. I am so excited because in the course of this month, God is opening the eyes and the ears of people; people are dreaming; prophetic dreams and remembering them.
Divine direction is a non-negotiable capital asset of human life and destiny. A woman just testified; she said, life was easier when she could hear God. The question is; what are the hindrances to divine direction? 1). The lack of value for divine direction. Many have no value for the will of God and for the purpose of God for their lives. So, they live life to chance; they live life to random motion. Church Gist. They entered into business carelessly, get married carelessly, travel abroad carelessly; they have no value for the will of God for their lives. So, there is so much frustration, frustrated relationships, marital connections and business investment.
What you give yourself is not as valuable as what God gives you. What you give yourself can never be profitable as what God gives you. Whatever it is, you are the one who gave yourself that wife or you took yourself to America. It’s possible to be everything you want without God, but that thing cannot be as profitable as what God gives you.
Also, what you achieve for yourself can never be as wonderful as what God achieves with you. Church Gist. There could be self-made millionaires and billionaires, but the millions and the billions would not give you as much rest and usher you into the realm of wonders as what God does for you.
What you do for yourself is subject to earthly forces but what God does for you is superior to earthly forces. That is, you can rise to prominence and rise to anything by yourself minus God. But those things are under the control of the forces of the earth. Inflation, deflation, recession, depression; anything can still affect you, but whatever God does for you, is superior to earthly forces. Let God be involved in your marriage and let’s see the witch that can tear you apart.
So, beloveth brothers and sisters, many are not hearing God or receiving from God because they don’t discern the value. What is the difference between being led by God and being led by self? It is the difference between Abraham and Lot. When God called Abraham, He led him out and said, “go to the place I will show you.” When Lot was separating from Abraham, Lot led himself. Church Gist. The Bible says, he lifted up his eyes and saw the well-watered regions of Sodom (Genesis 13:10-11) and Lot chose what he saw. Not all that glitters is gold. Please learn from Lot; Not everything that is good for the moment has a future. That is why God must lead and direct you; not everything that appears good for the moment has a future. Everything lot saw was beautiful, it was flourishing, not knowing a few years to come, that place would be demolished. It was marked for demolition. Lot chose a place that was marked for demolition because his eyes gave him.
What is the difference between being led by God and being led by sight? It is the difference between Lot and Abraham. If sight was leading me, I wouldn’t marry my wife. I told my children the other day and they were all laughing and she told them herself. Why? Because at that time, she never cared for nothing. She just was anyhow. That is medical student, didn’t care for anything, the hair was plaited mat. Any dress available, shapeless; she is the one supplying me the information I’m giving now. There were flashy people around, very flashy; spiritual and flashy. But God led otherwise. By His mercies, there is rest.
Not everything that looks good in the moment has a future. The land of Sodom and Gomorrah, the place Lot saw appeared well watered; everything was flourishing but there was no future. It was marked for demolition. Church Gist. There are people who look at the containers of things without looking at the content of things and it is only God who knows the content. That good looking man that looks like an angel today may be a devil inside and you never knew; only God knows the inside. There are men who want to marry who they will sacrifice; very nice guys but deep occultic guys.
One man told his wife; “madam, just help me die. Any amount you want, I will give you. Just die.” She is a very spiritual woman, the woman said, “if I die, how will I spend the amount?” It was like a bone in his neck. She became spiritual, firebrand.
You will never jam such men and women!
That is the difference between being led of God and being led by self or sight. It was the difference between Jacob and Esau. Esau had no altar for anything; Jacob was always raising altars and hearing God. Today, Jacob is still alive, they are called the people of Israel. Esau has disappeared long ago.
You will not disappear in time!
The summary is; the difference between being led of God and not being led of God is like the difference between light and darkness; day and night. Church Gist. Growing up as a young Christian child in the University, my greatest passion in life was never to miss God on anything and it would push me into prayer and fasting. I value following the plan of God to a point where I fear to miss it.
Lack of true spirituality. Where is lacking in spirituality, that person will be lacking in sensitivity. There is a connection between your spirituality and your sensitivity; a connection between your spirituality and your connectivity with Heaven. A connection between your spirituality and your receptivity.
When your prayer life is down, when your study of the Word is down; it is difficult to pick signals. No prayer, no study of the Word, no fasting – difficult to pick divine signals. Proverbs 20:27 Your spirit must be on fire, must be lighted if you must make discoveries in the realm of the Spirit 1 Corinthians 2:9-14 A person must be spiritually alive to pick spiritual signals. Your spirit must be sound, vibrant and healthy if you are going to function adequately in the spiritual realm of sensitivity.
On campus in those days, before and during the University, my prayer schedule is between three hours and seven hours. Most times, minimum was three hours and this is praying in tongues, non-stop. So, sharpness was at cutting edge. One day, I came on holiday and I came home and there was a “prophet” who was prophesying and everybody was being imparted, bringing message for people and all manner of messages and there was this notable prophet, genuine prophet of God who was unable to discern that woman and said, this woman is not of God and he said, what? Now, this guy I’m talking about can tell you anything in your pocket. “This is not of God.” Church Gist. My spirit was so sharp that that tongue I heard was from another world, not from heaven. She said, what do you mean? I said, investigate it, pray and find out from God; this is not God. We prayed for the woman and asked that the power of God should come on her, if what is in her is of God, let it remain. If what was in her was not of God, let it delete and it deleted on the spot. He couldn’t speak another tongue. That was the end of that assignment. It ended forever.
Sharpness – when spiritual exercises increase, spiritual receptivity multiplies. Don’t live your life dull like that, looking for solution everywhere. Sharpen your spirit in prayer, the Word, worship and waiting on the Lord. We’ll be talking about some of these things by Sunday when we continue on posture, positioning for spiritual direction.
One day, someone was watching a picture and he said, this person is such… And I said, I’ll like you to check him out. It will be so accurate that when something is right, it registers with your spirit. One man brought somebody, he wanted to marry; he is a pastor and I looked at the two of them and I said, “is this person you want to marry? Father, let your will be done in their lives.” He left and it didn’t work because it wasn’t workable. One man brought a woman he wanted to marry and he said to me, the Lord said I should marry this girl. I said to him, if you didn’t tell me and I had the permission, I would have told you because God showed me already.
In the name of Jesus, you will not miss it!
Before God speaks to people, the Bible says; “I was in the Spirit” (Ezekiel 37:1) – Ezekiel was in the Spirit, John also in Revelation 1:10. Many people are too much in the flesh. Church Gist. From morning to night, junk keeps on entering the mind and the spirit, from one movie or the other, one thing or the other, then from gossiping this person to talking against that person – all manner of fleshly operations. So, the spirit is practically low.
There is something we call, protein-energy malnutrition; where a child is not well fed with carbohydrate, but especially protein. As a result of that, one of the symptoms of this condition is hepatic. The meaning of that is that, the child is not conscious of the environment. He pays little or no attention; he gives attention to nothing. Church Gist. That is how it is in the realm of the spirit. You know when people are hungry and they are lacking in food, they don’t pay attention. Poverty makes people to lose attention. They used to say that somebody is so poor that they can’t pay for anything, including attention. Somebody can be so spiritually bankrupt that spiritual signals are flying about, he can’t pick any of it.
That will never be your portion!
I’m sure you heard the story where one man came here, first of all, he sent a text message, that he is a bishop from one country and he came to Nigeria on mission and he came to do missionary work and that he wants to do this and that. So, I said he should come. The moment I set my face upon him, I knew him. He came with his daughter, 15-year-old daughter, with his friend. So, I said, come here and let’s go and pray. As he stood there and was watching, I called the little girl aside; “who is that man to you?” Church Gist. She said, “he carried me from the East.” What’s your relationship with him? “I don’t know him.” – She was literally abducted. Do you know what she said next? “Please set me free from him.” I told her, “you are already free. Your freedom is already here.” I signal to the guy and went and organize the security quickly while he’s still busy there as bishop, waiting for help. His friend is an air force man, who assisted him. He had air force ID card, all fake. By the time they took them to the police area, they began to say the truth. That was how the step-mother of the lady came from the East and the pastor that was duped there, came from the East also to identify the criminal here. How many places he had gone and went free? We need spiritual sensitivity and I prophesy to you today, that grace is coming upon you!
Over-busyness in life (Psalm 46:10). Be still, so you can know. You are too much in a hurry. There are so many people who have lives that are running in too many directions. Their thought is centered on a thousand things at once. Very difficult to receive anything from God.
Be still and know means, there is knowledge in stillness and calmness. Busy man, busy woman; so busy, no time for God and church. What is the meaning of this? Church Gist. It means, there is a time to shut down all other activities and concentrate on God and focus only on God. Concerning the captivity of Judah, Daniel shut down in Daniel 9:2-3.
Mark 1:35 Nobody was busier than Jesus, but a great while before day, He went out. Listen beloveth brothers and sisters, when people take annual leave, some take casual leave. What they use it for at times, can be a function of their priorities in life. Supposing you took that one week, broke it into two; the first three days of that one week is praying, waiting on the Lord, studying the Word, studying the books, catching up on your sermon notes and being sharpen and sensitive to hear what God has to say to you for the next level and you are just intense in the spirit – how profitable that would be? Church Gist. What a difference it will make to life. By the time three days are over, you prayed in tongues for three hours, five hours per day for those three days, you’ve gone through the book of the Acts of Apostle, Proverbs, you have read a book and you came out loaded, fired. You took the next four days, hit the road running; “work has not allowed me to win souls, let me do rugged evangelism, let me win souls and plant them in the Lord. Let me be a Christian, let me be fruitful” (John 15:16) and by the time those four days are over, you have done seven days of aggressive spiritual exercise and then Heaven says, “Hey, that man is due for promotion. Make him the head of that organization. He has a Kingdom mindset that influence a system from up – down if you place him on top. That is how to live life and live profitably.
You sleep with expectation, waking up with revelation and trust the Lord with desperation; “I need to know what to do, I need steps to take. I can’t live my life by random motion and to assumption” and before you know it, God is speaking to you and then, you are practically in charge of satan, the devil and show him the way back to hell.
I see something changing in somebody’s life!
In case you’re busy because of people (God forbid), if you are no longer here, those people will continue living, as if you never existed. So, calm down. Be wise. You were not made for business; business was made for you. You brought the phone; the phone did not buy you. You may make up your mind, from this moment forward, after a certain moment of the day, no more phones. Let me face my life. Church Gist. How many of you have ever been in the midst of a very serious prayer and a call is coming in and it appears like a call you cannot ignore? The fact that you saw a call coming, whether you answer it or not, you are distracted, especially if it is somebody whose call you must answer. When Israel missed it, it took them 40 years to return back to the same spot. It was meant to be 11 days journey.
You will never miss it!
There are some people, satan sent them to look for your trouble; “offend him, just keep on offending him.” Daddy G.O said that, one day, a man who was offending him so much (the man was the one looking for his trouble). He said, “what did I do against this man, he is looking for my trouble all the time?” The General Overseer said, “Go and apologize to him.” Me? Apologize to him? So he went and prostrated to the man, thinking it would change the man. Church Gist. The man sent him away. That man kept on looking for his trouble until one day, the man told some people, “As for me, I know I’m going to hell. It’s only who I will go with, I’m looking for.”
Somebody was looking for Kenneth Hagin’s trouble, he said; “Lord, what can I do about this case?” God said, I’m using him to teach you love for a while.” You have an assignment with God, there are some people, you are their assignment but they will never succeed and today, every unnecessary satanic agent sent on assignment against you, against any of us; we declare their assignment over forever in Jesus precious name!
4). Impatience with God. Why are people not receiving direction from God? Many are impatient with God – a spirit in haste (Psalm 46:10, Isaiah 28:16). When you believe, you don’t make haste. For many people, God is too slow. You know, God is too slow made people to marry for themselves who they want.
God is too slow has turned some people who are meant to be ministers into native doctors; power to see, hear, do miracles. That is, the rugged process it takes to have a stand with God and to mark their generation. God is too slow made Abraham to arrange an alternative with Haggai. That alternative is a challenge of the world till today. Saul was impatient when Samuel said; “don’t offer any sacrifice. After seven days, I’ll come offer the sacrifice (1 Samuel 13:10).
Waiting on God is not wastage of life. Those who wait on God don’t waste in life. Waiting on God is not wastage of time; waiting on God is the salvaging of life and destiny. Don’t move because everybody is moving; there was a time around my life, everybody had a marital relationship and I had none at that time. One of my guys who was established in his pitied me and said, you don’t have anybody around you and he recommended someone for me. He didn’t have a bad motive. The person he recommended was not a bad person; very spiritual but that wasn’t it for me. There are those who say yes to any man that arrived because “I must not be left behind let me just marry.”
At a point also, everybody around me was going into ministry as if there was no fire but I knew it wasn’t time. Don’t move because of mass movement; it may affect your destiny negatively. Don’t ever become impatient because of other people’s results or experiences. Don’t ever become impatient, wait on God. Waiting on God will give you a speed that human effort can never give. Moving with God will give you nothing to lose. If you wait on God and on His time and you move at his time, you would have lost nothing and the devil would have gained nothing.
5). Existence in assumption and tradition. That is; I have done it this way before or it worked like this before (1 Chronicles 14:14-15). For every new situation there may be a new revelation. Church Gist. So if you are married to tradition you deliver frustration. Jesus healed the blind in many ways; one He spat on the ground and put mud. Another one he spoke to the blind – different Ways.
God is too dynamic for us to categorize Him, to classify Him or to cage His operations. If you want to be led by the Holy Spirit, you must be as flexible as the wind (John 3:8). Every child of God is meant to be a child of the wind; easily, moveable by God. Not fixed, flexible by God to do His will.
Lift up your hands and let’s appreciate the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

Our Father, this morning, we have come before You with gratitude in our hearts, for all that You have done: for Your faithfulness and for Your goodness. Thank You for the answers You have given to our prayers and for the testimonies of Your hand at work in our midst, we give all the praise to You. Now, this morning, our eyes are upon You. We ask that You will speak to us again. By Your Word, let our lives be transformed. Thank You Father for it, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
Our line of exhortation which we began looking at yesterday in our Covenant Hour of Prayer is: THE PRAYER OF FAITH IS THE PRAYER THAT WORKS We established yesterday from God’s Word that the end time Church is ordained of God as a Church of multitudes – Isaiah 2:1-3 We were told that God is taking His Church from Church growth to Church flow where multitudes begin to flow in as water flows. -That will be our experience in the name of Jesus Christ. That is why we are told in scriptures that multitudes are in the valley of decision – Joel 3:13 However, we are made to understand that a great door and effectual is opened but there are many adversaries – 1 Corinthians 16:9 That means those adversaries must be adequately contended with in order to establish that which God has ordained to come to pass – Deuteronomy 2:24 There is a spiritual contention that takes place in order to see that which God has ordained.
We have come to understand that the shield of faith is the instrument or weapon that has the capacity to quench all of the fiery darts of the enemy – Ephesians 6:16 When faith is in place, the oppositions of the enemy are cheaply subdued. Hebrews 11:33-34 There is nothing that the enemy can concoct that faith cannot subdue. Faith therefore, is a vital requirement if we are going to see all that God has ordained for us to experience.
We must however, recognize that faith must not be assumed. Faith must be consciously cultivated. Church Gist. You don’t assume faith. Romans 10:17 Faith is not accessed by assumption; faith must be consciously cultivated. It must be built up; it must be developed; it must be grown. Jude 1:20 Faith is consciously developed; it is not assumed. Any man or woman of faith is one that has taken responsibility for the building of his or her faith.
Let’s come to recognize this morning, that faith in description, is engaging the integrity of God through the altar of prayer. If we must build it up, we must know what it is. It is engaging the integrity of God through the altar of prayer. Numbers 23:19 Clearly from scriptures, we are made to understand when we deal with God, we are dealing with one whose integrity is uncheckered. Titus 1:2 When we are talking about God, we are talking about One who has no capacity to lie. Psalm 89:34 God says, “If I have said it, I will not adjust it. My integrity is bound by all that I have said.”
When we talk about faith, it is engaging that integrity, that reliability of God on the altar of prayer. That is what faith means. What that simply means is that you and I must understand that for us to be effective on the altar of prayer, we must recognize that integrity and build our confidence in it. 2 Timothy 1:12 – In other words, what is Paul saying? He said, “my confidence is absolutely reliant on this One to whom I have committed this thing to in prayer.” When you talk about the potency of prayer, it is the product of our confidence in the reliability, the integrity of God. It means that our effectiveness is determined by how much we are able to build up our faith and confidence in God’s integrity.
For us to build up our faith, to be effective on the altar of prayer, let’s take note of this channel: We can build our faith through study of faith books. The Bible makes clear to us, like we saw earlier that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God – Romans 10:17 Which means there is a process or protocol through which faith comes. We have been made to understand that the first hearing refers to the reception of the Word, the second hearing refers to the understanding of the Word. It is that spiritual understanding that enhances our faith and one of the vital instruments through which we gain understanding is via books. Daniel 9:2 In other words, the moment we give ourselves to the exploration of the spiritual books, we are giving access to the enhancement of our spiritual understanding; that enhancement of our spiritual understanding is what provokes potency to our faith. Paul the Apostle, a man of unusual faith, said in 2 Timothy chapter 4 verse 13 2 Timothy 4:13 – bring the books. So the depth of his understanding could be traceable to his pursuit of knowledge in books. That is why you hear testimonies of individuals who settle down with books, their faith explodes and their testimonies arrive. -For you in this season as your faith explodes through your exploration of books, your testimony will arrive. Colossians 1:9 -I pray that for each one of us in this season that will be our own experience.
In conclusion this morning, let’s take note of the following: That it takes the prayer of faith to qualify for delivery on the prayer altar. Church Gist. Prayer is not answered by volume, it is not answered by energy, it is answered when faith is in place. Matthew 21:22 When the faith question is answered, your delivery is sure. -For you, your delivery shall be sure in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayers: Lord, I receive grace to build my faith for delivery. Let that grace be made available, in the name of Jesus Christ. I receive that grace, thank You mighty God, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.

Lift up those two hands and thank God for your own encounter. Thank God for the renewal of strength that you enjoy.
There is this syndrome of history; “we got saved the same day, we got baptized in the Holy Ghost the same day, we were baptized in water the same day, he was after me”. Why is the gap widening? The quality of one’s investment in serving God and the interest of His Kingdom is what differs one from another. Why are our results so different? Because the understanding of one about what he is doing in serving God differs from the other. Well done! You have done well, that’s the meaning. Luke 19:17. Church Gist. There were ten of them, they were given one each, seven absconded. There is no mention of the seven. We are only talking about the three. While someone is having control over ten cities, somebody is being tormented. Someone else fled, stole the money and entered under a curse. Same people, same day, same grace but different dispositions. Each one’s grace here must be different.
Each one’s case here must be different.
No wonder many are called but few are chosen. 2 out of 10. 300 out of 32,000. It is a straight and narrow gate. Let’s strive to enter through that straight and narrow gate.
Prayers: I desire to be listed among the few, help me to get the changes required to be listed among the few. Help me to get listed and remain listed among the few all the days of my life.
It’s your year, you can decide to make this your Isaac order of year where you are making quality investment in Kingdom stewardship with understanding.
An understanding of why we should pray will keep your prayer altar on fire. An understanding of what obtains in soul winning will keep you flying in soul winning. An understanding of what it means to invest your resources in promoting the Kingdom of God will keep you forever without anybody challenging you. Some fell on good ground and they bore fruits differently. Church Gist. Some hundred, some sixty, some thirty. That could also imply that some are twenty, some are three. They are all good hearts, they all have an open heart to God, the variable is their various levels of spiritual understanding in what they are doing.
Prayers: Lord enlarge my spiritual understanding in the course of this prayer and fasting. I must not labour in vain.
The good news is having engaged this tenaciously in praying Kingdom advancement prayers. Church Gist. There is no issue of your life that is permitted to remain an issue at the end of this prayer episode.
You are not just returning as a changed individual, you are also returning with a change of story order of testimony.
You are being changed to his likeness to secure guaranteed answers for life.
In the name of the Lord Jesus that issue left back at home must be met as a living and undeniable testimony at the end of this prayer and fasting.

Listen, if you invest spiritually and you invest physically and you don’t have financial investment, according to one of our pastors who was taking offering he said “prayers and fasting without giving is like operating in power without resources”. You operate in power but you’re very broke, you will be greatly empowered but you will still be poor. ChurchGist. Please listen carefully, don’t deceive yourself, don’t say I don’t have. In your own little way Glory Reign is coming try to invest.
Make sure your money is involved in bringing a soul, if you’re at your lowest point, pay someone’s transport fare. Because, you don’t tell a new born baby to wait for you at the gate, how will the child get to the gate. ChurchGist. They just gave their lives to Christ, take your # 1,000 and say brother take this #1000 for your transportation for 5 days, God will look at you and say “you mean you can pay #1,000 for this person” at your level and God shifts you to #100,000.
At #100,000 level you hire a bus, you say this bus is free for all of you in my street to come for Glory Reign and the Lord will bless you with 5 buses, that is how to grow. Some people will say “God you know I don’t have” you will remain like that. ChurchGist. Those of us who God has blessed, you then think of how to build churches, how you can sponsor viewing centers, just make sure your money is involved. Buy tags and give to people, people bought tags yesterday to give to people, don’t wait and say the Church will give you, why don’t you give? That is the only way out of poverty and to have endless wealth, if the purpose of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable, the purpose of wealth is to promote God’s Kingdom.
Once you’re a promoter of the Kingdom you don’t need to pray, things will just keep going from one level to another. ChurchGist. How many of you will be involved with your finances? Now you will go for soul winning, you pray for the advancement of the Gospel also be a giver then it will be balance. I tell you; your prosperity will just keep booming. Before you open your mouth, the Heavens have opened, economy cannot stop you, pray for the advancement of his Kingdom, go out for soul winning and let your hand give at your level. Don’t say I don’t have; God knows that you have. Just give at your own level, make sacrifice at your level.
Two young men came to me and said Sir, the Church is ready for Glory Reign. In Port Harcourt here and when I saw them, you will know that they went extra mile to make sure it happen. You know when people make sacrifice to make things happen. ChurchGist. There are some people if they build churches, it is not a sacrifice to them, because their sizes is bigger than the Church they are building, now when I saw these young men, I said these guys are doing extra things. Now, when such persons have a breakthrough tomorrow, you now start frowning your face. Watch those that frown their faces, they are stingy.
A person who is a giver will say thank God this is where I missed it. I have been praying for the Church to grow, I have been going out for evangelism, but my hand is not giving and they will say this is the remaining part. ChurchGist. Many of us we do the other two but we don’t do the giving part. Rise to your feet. Has anybody been blessed this morning? So that before they come, your own testimony is already here. There is something I am going to teach deeply during the Glory Reign, from my studying and also from deep revelation “the purpose of wealth”, giving is not the purpose of wealth, giving is the access to wealth and if the purpose is not known abuse is inevitable.
I stumbled into this deep revelation; do you know why Solomon missed it? Hope you know Solomon missed it? He knew about the access; he didn’t know about the purpose. ChurchGist. Solomon built one temple but built 1000 shrines, have you not seen Christian who started well? they build Churches the next thing you see is that they start to build night clubs, they don’t know the purpose.
Many know that giving can open the doors of wealth but they don’t know the purpose, how can a man build one church and build one thousand shrines, that means he had the money to build 1000 Churches but he didn’t know the purpose. Say “Lord I must be a giver and I receive grace to be a giver”. ChurchGist. Do this at your level, get the people on your street to be part of Glory Reign, go to that your village and start somewhere, start from where you are now if it is just one thousand you have now, set aside #500 for the Kingdom of God, are you getting it? Don’t be thinking of the hair you will wear to officiate, think of what you will do for the Kingdom of God first. Some of us, we are planning uniform, you know it is so funny people are planning to promote the Kingdom while others are planning to take from people, if I hear that any group is to buy uniform and somebody is supplying that uniform you will tell me whether you’re the one God gave the vision to.
No service group should sell uniform, show them the Uniform and let them go and buy it. ChurchGist. This is an order, if you supply uniform here, you will be demoted, we are not here for you to trade with people, sow into the Kingdom. All service group; nobody supplies, everybody should go and get their uniform where they are selling it, just show them the Uniform. Lift your hand and say father I receive grace to promote your Kingdom in Soul winning, Kingdom advancement prayer and today I have heard of giving. Pray that prayer for yourself in the name of Jesus.

PEOPLE WHO CRITICIZE MEN OF GOD, THEY ARE NOT GIVERS, THEY ARE STINGY TO EVERYTHING -Pastor David Ibiyeomie
Luke 5:1-7. Peter’s frustration was so heavy. He could not catch any fish all through the night. Jesus said give me your boat I want to use it. God is not a user of men he is a blesser of men. Jesus said Peter give me your boat and Jesus’ messages were not short messages, his sermon was very long. So, you can imagine this, after Peter has toiled all night and there was no fish and the Fishermen were washing their nets just to go home and say well there is nothing to show for today’s business and Jesus said give me your boat. ChurchGist. He would have said man I am tired, what are you talking about, I am very tired I have toiled all night and I caught nothing, as some of us will say I am not a machine I have to rest. Peter should have said I know you’re a preacher but I am very tired instead he said take the boat and use.
The same place where Peter was frustrated when he invested in God’s business, listen the boat was his major capital, that was his capital, he gave his capital for Jesus to use, Jesus said I am not a user I am a blesser, now the business that was not working you saw how it worked. ChurchGist. I command in the name of Jesus everyone that has invested for the expansion of the kingdom, whatever was not working begins to work in your life.
A young man gave his testimony in this Church, sometimes people are coded, he said Papa I had option to keep a particular money or to use it for the Church, so he took all the money and gave it for the roofing of the Church he was attending, that was the only money he had on him, this story I am telling you happened last week. ChurchGist. He said the moment he made up his mind to sow it to his Church for the roof covering, he got a Job where they are to pay him $20,000 per day and the Job is for 2 years but you know what happened, it didn’t come by luck he gave all he had to promote the Kingdom. ChurchGist. In this Kingdom it is not who you know it is what you know, those who do know their God not those who know people in Aso Rock.
We are trying to run the Kingdom with a worldly formula, don’t take Babylonian pattern to run your life otherwise things will not work. Seek ye first my Kingdom and forget it I am going to daze you with so much wealth, he did the Kingdom of God first and then his own was taken care of, far more than what he thought was added to him, you will be the next to testify, shout a better amen. ChurchGist. So, your input in the Kingdom will determine the measure of output you get – Mark 20:29-30, $20,000 is about #11 Million plus for just one person per day. ChurchGist. Do you know what, that blessing wouldn’t have come if he had not done what he did. Jesus said if you release anything for the Gospel you will receive it in 100 folds now not after, in this time you will receive the same thing.
When Peter gave his boat what did he get? Fishes because that was his business, when this young man gave money to roof the Church what did he get? Money. I gave my first money meant for car to the Kingdom of God, till Jesus comes I won’t worry about cars, I have given out 50+ cars in less than 2 months, have I told you before? I gave my first $1,000,000 in 2012 when I had no house, I won’t be talking about house now, I have landed properties that I don’t even know about, there is nowhere in the world where you give me 2 plots of land that I will use, I can’t use 2 plots because it can’t contain me.
Even in the Riverine area where my parents came from, two plots can’t contain me, where will I park my cars, talk less of my entourages, riverine lands are very expensive, the lands are not even available yet two plots can’t contain me anywhere in the world, what will I do with two plots, People give me lands as though it is nothing, I have a young man who has a file for them, remember I first gave the money I was to use to build a house to the Kingdom, many of you don’t know how it works in this kingdom, you think it’s by seeing the Governor or the President. ChurchGist. You’ve been sweating for nothing it doesn’t work like that.
That is how it works, if I give God a house, I will get houses, if I was to buy a wig and I give God first I will get factories of wigs, if I was to buy clothes first and I give it to God, I will get clothes. Anything you can think about, if I was to do a wedding and I give God first, the money for the wedding will come like a magic, anything I do for him first I won’t lack it. ChurchGist. As long as I consider him first, forget it, if I am to build a house and I give God first I will end up with estates. If I want to eat and I give God first, food will be surplus in my house. Do you understand what I am saying?
This blessings will come with persecution, Jesus said so, even in church people will still talk, they will even castigate you, when you see people who are giving and they get blessed, some of you in this Church will castigate them, don’t mind him he is doing like he is the only one in this Church, let me tell you he is the only one o,are you giving? People who don’t give are very good in criticism, watch people who criticize even Men of God they don’t give, all the social media critics who criticize men of God who among them is a giver? Tell me which of them is a giver? Which of them pays people’s school fees? Oyedepo has scholarships for people, I have scholarship for people. ChurchGist. How many of them are paying school fees for orphans? If you watch people who criticize men of God, they are not givers, they are stingy to everything, even in church some of you criticize me, even as I am preaching now some of you are not happy, you think everyone is happy, is this what I came to church to hear? Yes, you will hear it.
Shout Halleluyah, because it is these things you will hear that will change your life, I won’t preach another thing this is what you will hear so that your life can change, the Bible says the blessing will come with persecution, because people will be angry at the blessing. ChurchGist. If you see any Christian complaining, watch him he is not a giver because a giver can’t envy another person, because you too will be getting blessed but when you’re not a giver you will remain as a pauper and you just get angry at everything, everybody will just be agitating you. You will never get angry with others, tell your neighbor “invest in the Kingdom of God, it is the best form of investment”.

Pastor Steve Ogah Day 10 Morning Session, 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting (10th to 30th January 2022)
Since Monday we began looking at the subject, PRAYER DOES NOT ONLY CHANGE THINGS. PRAYER CHANGES PEOPLE. It is great to receive things in the place of prayer but it is much more rewarding and refreshing to be changed on the altar of prayer. Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 3:18. We are transformed in the place of prayer, we saw this clearly depleted in the life of Jesus in Luke 9:29. The glory of God began to reflect by His engagement on the altar of prayer.
Luke 9:30, 34-35.
Level had changed on the prayer altar. In the place of prayer we are spiritually empowered which changes our level of spiritual authority. In the place of prayer we are empowered and that makes us subdue the things that used to subdue us before time. In Luke 4:1-14 we saw another episode. Church Gist. Jesus went up the mountain and fasted for forty days and forty nights, ate no bread, drank no water. In verse 14, The Bible says Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit.
I have got good news for someone, after these twenty one days of prayer and fasting, you are returning in the power of the Spirit.
Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit and diverse manifestations of transformation began. His fame went abroad. His name began to answer in strange quarters all across the region. He began to flow in strange realms of revelations. Luke 4:17, 33-34. By the encounter of the prayer altar Jesus was empowered spiritually and His authority level changed. Upon his return from the mountain, the devils recognised that the Jesus that went up is not the same as the Jesus that descended the mountain.
I have got good news again for someone upon your return, everything that used to torment you will flee at your appearance. We must understand that prayer is the believer’s tool of power. It carries unlimited capacity to deliver. Isaiah 58:9. Every prayer we pray on this mountain, heaven will answer speedily. In the place of prayer we communicate with our Heavenly Father, there is a bonding process that culminates in a change/ transformation. James 4:8. So in the place of prayer we are drawing near to God, we begin to enjoy transformations and changes to the point that we begin to feel the spiritual changes in our lives. Church Gist. Many times you ask believers the most spiritual times in their lives are times of extended prayer and fasting. Because there is a closeness, there is a bonding with God. The more we stay on the prayer altar, the more like God we begin to look like. The things you can’t find in God begin to wash off our lives.
That was the clear example in the life of Moses. Moses a man mighty in the place of prayer. The testimony of Moses was as such that He had encountered God at diverse times. Exodus 34:28-29. He had been transfigured, He had been changed via the encounter with God. No one truly encounters God and returns the same. No man, no woman truly encounters God on the altar of prayer and remains the same. This encounter truly has an impact in every area of our lives, it has an impact on our spiritual lives, it affects our minds, it affects our bodies. Church Gist. We saw this evident in the life of Moses that at the age of 120 the Bible says his natural strength was not abated. Deuteronomy 34:7. He was still walking in the energy of a 40 year old. Why? Via consistent encounters with God on the prayer altar. The Bible says they go from strength to strength. We are ordained to move from strength to strength not weakness to weakness.
We must all move from the realm of praying “God give me , give me” to “Lord change me, change me”. We must begin to engage on the prayer altar for transformation in our personal lives.
None of us will return the same after these twenty one days of fasting and prayers.
Lift up your voice and pray: Lord change me, transform me all through this season as I continue to engage. Make me a brand new man.
