THE CONDITION FOR MERCY IS NOT SERVICE, THE CONDITION FOR MERCY IS NOT BEING FLAWLESS, THE CONDITION FOR MERCY IS BROKENNESS.

MANY BELIEVERS ARE UNABLE TO RECEIVE OF THE MERCY OF GOD BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THE NATURE OF MAN THAT WILL NOT ADMIT THAT YOU ARE LIMITED BY DEFAULT.

The subject at hand is The Mercy of God. Until now, the mercy of God is always looked at from the angle of the sinner and one who is deserving of forgiveness but that is only one angle of mercy. If we approach mercy just from a standpoint of pardon and withholding punishment from the guilty, it will not fully capture the essence of the subject of mercy. So from a broad perspective, you see that everyone requires the mercy of God to make progress in life. If guilty and a sinner, then you require pardon. If weak and inadequate, you require strength that will be able to push you forward.

It is not just enough to understand the concept, you must understand the administration of mercy. How mercy is administered from God to men and from men to men. If we only understand the concept, we will appreciate it but never be able to experience it. There is a spiritual technology for administering mercy and this is what I hope we will understand tonight. Church Gist. There is a weakness in man, especially the fallen man by the reason of the fallen nature and the consequences of the fallen nature upon man, there is that weakness that is inherent in man that will perpetuate necessitate the mercy of God if we are ever to thrive and rise to the fullness of our prophetic potential, this has nothing to do necessarily with the fortitude to sin or to fall, it is just an inherent limitation that is in all men: the reality of the humanity of men.

You will notice in Revelation and Ezekiel also had that vision of what we call the four living creatures. These are a vision of the full dimensions that must find expression in man to fully reveal the glory of God. The four living creatures stand before the throne of God as a representation of holistic spiritual development.

1. The face of the lion talks about dominion, power and royalty. If that is the only dimension you know, the side effect of manifesting that dimension alone is pride.
2. The face of a calf. This is a balance to the first face. That the purpose of power and authority is service. But if you have these two alone, it also has it’s side effects because being a calf alone will weary you to death.
3. The face of man. It puts a balance so you do not stretch yourself above your capacity. If you dwell on your humanity, chances are that you will give unrestrained access to the flesh. Then it reminds you that although you are human, you are also divine.
4. The face of the flying eagle.
   These are expressions that must be captured in our spiritual experience to be balanced and holistic.

Tonight I am interested for the purpose of our discussion on the reality of the human nature. Church Gist. There is something about the weakness of man, that if unassisted cannot produce the glory of God. The Bible is very clear about the frailty of man. That something about our weakness and limitations, you find that expressly detailed in Psalm 51. This was a very honest expression of the weakness of man.

Psalm 51:1-5

There is a limitation that is enshrined in my humanity that cannot allow me glorify God unassisted. The reality of the humanity of men is a factor that if not examined we will never appreciate the necessity for His mercy. We will never be able to rise to our full prophetic potential. God’s mercy is a system of advantage given to man to enable man rise and bring glory to the name of the Lord In spite of all of these deflects enshrined in man, God had to put this factor of mercy so that regardless of the limitations of men we will still be able to birth the purposes of God. By the provision that His mercy gives and provides, we will be able to rise and become full expressions of His expectations regardless of our humanity.

Mercy is an action word. You can feel the pain of another that is compassion but when it has to do with mercy, all through scripture it is “have mercy” or “show mercy” there is nothing like “feel mercy” in scripture. I am particularly concerned about the administration of mercy. As cheap as mercy is, there are individuals who are in desperate need of His mercy who may never be able to receive of His mercy because they don’t understand His system of administering mercy. Church Gist. We need to understand how God designed His mercy to be administered. Several people have received the Coro injection, when you come to receive it, there is a system for receiving it. You don’t bring your head and say they should put the syringe as far as it gets into your body. There is a system. Just because it is the mercy of God does not mean it works anyhow.

Psalm 51:17

The Bible gives us a state that a man must assume to access the mercy of God. There is a kind of man that God is vulnerable to. It is almost like a weakness in God that the Psalmist in studying God, he found a weak point that no matter how God hardens His heart, there is a posture spiritually you take and immediately you get His attention. Anyone who assumes the position of a broken and a contrite spirit God will not despise. Not everyone will truly and sadly be a recipient of God’s mercy, there is a posture that any man must assume. Brokenness is the name given to the spiritual state that any and every man must take to be a recipient of God’s mercy. Psalm 34:18. It is impossible for Him to be far from those that are of a broken heart, those who will experience His salvation expressed as mercy are those who are of a contrite spirit. The Bible helps us to know God by revealing three components:

1. The promises of God
   Every time you open your Bible to learn God, you find captured in scriptures the promises of God, God cannot be committed to the believer outside of the allowance His promises in scriptures create. God limits His dealing with men to the allowance of scriptures. Church Gist. It is not what you want that God does, it is what you want that is consistent with the provision that scripture allows. He has exalted His word more than His name.
2. The principles of the Kingdom

This is the modus operandi of the kingdom. It gives you a capture of the ways and methodologies of God captured in stories, captured in parables, captured in similitudes, so that when you study these stories and parables, behind the stories are a revelation of the ways of God. We are going to examine very quickly a story that captures, in my opinion, the most detailed expression of rebellion against authority and then how the mercy of God is administered.

Luke 15:11-32

This was the first decision he took outside the influence of his father and it was a disaster. All his results are credited to the connection of his father. The Devil who knew his immunity and his strength was connected to his relationship insisted to dissociate him from his father and the first decision he will take outside the influence of his father landed him in trouble. Same thing happened with Abraham and Lot, the first decision Lot will make outside of the influence of Abraham landed him in Sodom.

“and when he came to himself…” (Luke 15:17) This is a powerful revelation of what God put in men, the Bible did not say the Holy Spirit spoke to him, the Bible didn’t say an angel appeared to him. It is within the ability of man to come to himself, you cannot help yourself but you can come to the realization that you need help. Sometimes hunger is a blessing because it contains a unique ability to make you come to yourself. Church Gist. There would be no need for this kind of intelligent discussion if he did not come to himself. It took a lot of thoughtfulness to get to that point where he knew the extent of his sin. Everywhere you find the mercy of God administered, you always find a broken and a contrite heart. It is within your power to come to yourself and it is within your power to take a step that demonstrates brokenness.

“This my son was dead…” you don’t need to die to be dead. There is a condition equal to death even though you are alive. God’s idea of death is not just cessation, but separation. Once you are outside of your connection with your source. Once you cut away, you are dead. You can be so close to the point of mercy and never receive it. The elder brother made one mistake and it is called self righteousness. He believed he was deserving of mercy by reason of his flawlessness. He marked his script, graded himself and demanded an award called mercy. Both of the man’s sons were dead. The only difference is that one acted out his rebellion, the other one remained in the house but he was not broken. The condition for mercy is not service, the condition for mercy is not being flawless, the condition for mercy is brokenness. Herein lies the mystery behind God’s supposed commitment to the life of others and it looks as if God seems to handpick a few people. I show you the system of administering mercy, when the strength of God comes and it finds strength it will go back. The strength of God comes looking for brokenness. Brokenness is a state of admittance of your inability to help yourself, that you are inadequate by default. Church Gist. You don’t have to wait to act it out and learn a lesson from your pain. That at any time you are unassisted by heaven, the result is a disaster. It is a matter that is ever before you that God is not just a matter of Christianity or of Church, He is your life. Any point you are separate from his influence, any decision you make from that point will get you into disaster. The mercy of God is ever searching for brokenness. If you do not know what God looks for in men to help men we will continue shadowboxing in self-righteousness hoping that we will find His help.

Daniel 4:34-37

Many believers are unable to receive of the mercy of God because there is something about the nature of man that will not admit that you are limited. There is something about the pride of men especially in the presence of results that prevents us from admitting that we are limited.

Jonah 2:1-3

Jonah refused to go to Nineveh and he ended up in the belly of the fish until he was broken. Jonah continued to express brokenness in the belly of the fish and the fish could not eat him again. Jonah 3:1 – 4:2 Jonah ran away because he knew that if God finds brokenness, He won’t do all the things he prophesied and it will seem as though He is a false prophet. Jonah was angry and said “I know that you have a weak point that when you find broken people, families, churches, individuals, nations, you can turn against even your prophet. Church Gist. You sent me and now I am looking like a liar”. Jonah was a genuine prophet, he knew God. That when He finds brokenness, nothing can withhold your mercy.

2 Chronicles 7:14

There are many people who believe that just because they are aware of the benevolence of God, that awareness will immediately impact mercy to them. That is a serious error. There are many people who continue to jump and claim the mercy of God without brokenness. As powerful as the mercy of God is, there is a state that a man must be in to receive mercy. How many people are so desperately deserving of mercy and yet you do not find brokenness in them. How many workers to their bosses, how many men and women to their spouses, how many people are so deserving of mercy and hope that mercy will travel and come and meet them. Church Gist. The Bible said if you want to obtain mercy you have to come before the throne of grace. The prodigal son never met his father at home but the father never met him in the place of his mess. They met somewhere in the place of his obedience and brokenness. If we want to experience the mercy of God in our lives we must understand that it is a broken and a contrite spirit.

Luke 18:9-14. Jesus talks about the danger of self righteousness. Luke 18:35-39. He never said “heal me” because healing is an expression of God’s mercy. The man was not clear what exactly he needed but he knew that whatever it is that will solve my problem is under the department of God’s mercy. Mercy has to do with forgiveness and providing pardon to the guilty AND providing relief to the distressed and the weak. Every one of you will require one or more of these expressions for the rest of your life. Luke 18:40-43. If Jesus was truly the visible image of the invisible God, He should not see brokenness and pass. So he stopped and asked him to be brought to him. Have you seen that everywhere you see the manifestation of God’s mercy it always comes in response to brokenness. Therefore if you embrace brokenness as your default state, now you understand what Jesus was saying when He said in His beatitudes “blessed are they that hunger and taste…” He was not finding joy in their predicament. Church Gist. He was trying to describe a state that if you are aware of your inadequacies you will always be filled. Ask anyone who has experienced the grace of God upon their lives, the basis of God’s attention upon their lives. They may not be able to articulate it, but there is something about their walk with the Holy Ghost that has brought them to a place of brokenness. Brokenness is not a state of self condemnation, brokenness is a state of awareness. Was it not what happened to Isaiah when he beheld the glory of God. Believers I don’t know about you, but this man standing before you is a product of God’s mercy. When I hear people brag and celebrate their achievements I stand back and know that I would be dishonest to myself to credit the results in my life to my performance. Be careful lest when you build houses, that you will say my power and the might of my hand have done this. That is the side effect of success, it is possible that when you succeed and the spotlight is on you that it becomes embarrassing to give credit to God. There is something about men and our itch to be celebrated.

There are men and women that will rise in this end times, you will add them up and you will see that as an equation they don’t add up. You will find what is the wow factor and not find it. It is hidden in the mercy of God invested in the place of their brokenness. Church Gist. You will see entrepreneurs rise and you will sit and talk with them and you will feel you are wasting your time yet you cannot deny the results that come from their life. Behind their frailty, there is a jealousy of a great God backing them. You will see this in preachers, you will see this in mothers, you will see this in business man and women.

When you understand the theology of the mercy of God, you will know what to look for in administering mercy. No one just blackmails you spiritually show mercy, I must find brokenness like God. Perfection is exhausting and unnecessary, find brokenness. Church Gist. Asking people who answer the altar call to come and stand before everyone is to help them establish their brokenness before God. So they come and stand, are you ashamed of him to stand before men?

Philippians 2:5-11

Do you know that when Jesus walked upon the earth, He never called himself Father. He perpetually admitted that there was someone above Him. He did not think it was an embarrassment, to say that I can of my own self do nothing.

I show you a deep mystery in the kingdom, behind the mysterious rising of many. Behind the mysterious jealousy of God’s power and grace upon people who are seemingly unqualified. In all your diligence, in all your being productive, in all your contending for knowledge, in all your executions. Remember that there is a state of inadequacy in man. Church Gist. I believe in diligence, I believe in productivity, no visionary leader will use the subject of God’s mercy to produce laziness out of his people. The subject of God’s mercy if not understood makes it look like there is no need to be productive, there is no need to be hardworking.

John 21

Peter was in the right location with the right tool and the right mind, yet having no results. There are times when everything is right yet there are no results. There are times when from the standpoint of men everything is in place yet you will not catch any fish. At that point, leave your skill and look for Jesus.

Someone came to Church today wondering “Lord I have been around you, I have been in Church for five years yet my life has no testimonies to show. A stranger comes in and before the sermon, he is already crying and he leaves with a buffet of testimonies”. I show you the missing link could it be that you have not realized that the best of man is still limited. The mercy of God provides pardon for the sinner but it is still an advantage to remedy for your inadequacies by reason of wearing a mortal body. Jesus can pray because he is still in heaven as a man. His intercession is based on his relation to our reality. Church Gist. He is seated at the right hand with his human body. It is on the strength of the awareness of God’s mercy that we are also strengthened to communicate mercy to others. The best of a man is still flawed, all it takes to reveal that flaw is time.

Pray and ask the Lord to perpetually keep you in a place of brokenness. When God finds brokenness, you are ready to be a recipient of His mercy. Cry to your maker, do not make the mistake of praying the prayer of Pharisee. Cry to He that hears the prayers of broken people.

TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF FOCUS

What is Focus?

Focus means to be totally committed or absorbed in a special assignment. It is the ability to look at your purpose or your assignment without wavering or without diffraction. ChurchGist. It means to bring your attention to the center, to concentrate on one thing intently in order to gain clarity, all these definitions are from Papa, none of them is mine. No one ever gets anything of value by accident, life is all about focus. ChurchGist. Only the focussed will stand out in life – Matthew 6:22, the primary reason why many fail is because of broken focus. Lack of focus is very dangerous, papa said: Life can only be dynamic when it is specific, staying in ones God ordained path in life is the key to a world of possibilities.

Satan is not powerful but he is very subtle, his main target is to break your focus off your assignment on earth and cause you to drift and immediately you start to drift in one direction you drift in all other directions but God forbid that we will drift, you and I will never go off track in Jesus mighty name. God of David Ibiyeomie will help us maintain our focus in Jesus mighty name.

Hear me, Papa said the easiest way to make somebody fail is to give him multiple assignments, knowing your purpose is the starting point of greater achievements in life, focused people know what they want even if they don’t know how to get it from the beginning, they know what they want and it is your focus that reveals the “how to get it for them”. ChurchGist. Where there is a will there is always a way – Genesis 11:6, in this year of possibilities it is your focus on your assignment that will open your doorway to possibilities in the name of Jesus.

James 1:7, if you are neither here nor there, if you’re double minded the Bible says you are unstable in all your ways, if you don’t receive from the Lord then you will receive from the Devil because there are only two sources, say to yourself I will stay focussed on my God ordained assignment, 1st Corinthians 7:20, stay on your lane, stay on your assignment. ChurchGist. Everyone is created for a specific assignment you need to stay there; man is at his best in the center of God’s plan, don’t enter another man’s lane otherwise you will be disqualified.

Proverbs 4:25-27 (NLT), Luke 19:10, Jesus was specific on his assignment, he was a man of one thing. Philippians 3:13, Paul was a man of one thing, “One thing I do”, Luke 10:40-42, it has been discovered that people with great impact and accomplishment are people of focus, they are people of one thing. ChurchGist. It is one thing that dominates them per time, through the power of focus they have dominated their field of endeavors so much so that when their names are called you think of their field of endeavors, for instance if I call the name Christiano Ronaldo what comes to your mind? Football, if I call the name Tiger Woods what comes to your mind? Golf, if I call the name David Ibiyeomie what comes to your mind? A Preacher, when your own name is called what comes to the mind of people, someone hearing the sound of my voice today that commits to staying focused on one thing, you will hit the headline news in the name of Jesus, the God of David Ibiyeomie will bring you from obscurity into limelight in the name of Jesus.

BENEFITS OF FOCUS

1) Focus generates passion, energy and heat- Habakkuk 2:2, if you want to understand this, the sun shines generally it is not focused in one direction, it is spreading everywhere and you don’t feel it too much but if you bring a magnifying glass or a convex lens, you can focus the heat of the sun to a piece of paper and it will catch fire and from there it can create a wild fire, this is what focus does.

2) Focus generates speed, focused people get more things done in one week than what some people will do in a year. Like our father, he accomplishes things that some of us cannot accomplish in one year. Why, because of his sharp and unbroken focus, he knows what he wants and he is getting them

3) Focus generates insight – Matthew 6:22, Light in this case connotes insight and wisdom.

4) Focus shields from evil – Proverbs 4:27.

5) Focus unveils opportunities and possibilities – 1st Samuel 17:26-56, David focused on Goliath’s head, no matter what people told him he said I will bring your head down, that is why he saw the only unshielded part of Goliath’s head, he saw it. ChurchGist. Focus gave him those possibilities and he brought Goliath down. Where there is a will there is always a way.

6) Focus makes people irresistible – Genesis 11:6

7) Focus brings success and Impact – Philippians 3:13-14, to have a goal is to set a mark

Now, we have talked about focus and all the benefits of focus, the question is how do I maintain focus? There is a particular dance called focus it is not by pointing your hand and shaking your head that you get focused.

How do I maintain focus?

Like our pastor said yesterday, it is not your father’s property that you will inherit.

1) Look at your future, a focused man does not look at the present, he looks at where he is going, he has painted the picture of his future from the scriptures and that is his target – Philippians 3-14, I do all that is required of me, if it is knowledge I get the knowledge, if it is skill I acquire it, if it is training, I go for the training, I press, I am not side tracked, I push until I get there. ChurchGist. A wise man said focus is our future and what we focus on multiplies. Everything is created twice, the first creation is the vision the second creation is self-discipline, the link between the two is focus.

2) Avoid distractions, Papa defined distraction as side attractions seeking your attention in order to keep you from reaching your destination. They look good but they won’t let you get to your destination. ChurchGist. The Good often time is the enemy of the great – 1st Kings 20:40, the servant was busy with side attractions.

What are you giving attention to right now? The whole church is fasting and praying for the success of Glory reign and for our lives to open up this year, even Papa and Mama they have expectation forms, when they say pray, they lift up their expectation forms and pray, this is not the time to travel to the village for village meeting. Focus your attention. Avoid distractions and great is your future.

3) Be careful of what you hear, see and meditate on, nobody can fully protect you, you’re the gate keeper of your life. As a focused man or woman, you must watch what you see. ChurchGist. Focused people don’t see everything, lt is not every church that you must go to, it is not every pastor that you must listen to, it is not every program that you must watch on TV, sensor what you see, sensor what you hear. ChurchGist. The things you see, say, hear and the things you meditate on repeatedly get fixed in your subconscious mind and it controls your behavior and remember your behavior determines your result. Mark 4:4, be careful of what you hear, most of us seated here today our greatest mistakes are the things that we have heard in time past but today there will be a supernatural turn around in the name of Jesus.

4) Keep the right company, permit only relationships that will keep you focused on your assignment, wrong people destroy your focus, iron sharpens iron so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend – Proverbs 27:17, Proverbs 13:20, Papa said: when the wrong people leave your life, wrong things stop happening, for every wrong thing happening in your life there is a wrong person around you. ChurchGist. If you want to be focused in life, spend less time with those who need you and spend more time with those you need, for instance I need Papa so I keep company with him by keeping company with him, I don’t go to disturb him every now and then.

I have his books, I have his tapes, I read them, there is no book that he has written that I don’t have, that is how to keep company, you don’t go around disturbing him. ChurchGist. Papa does not need me, he needs higher people so that’s how the chain goes, so tap in. Mark 1:17, the company you keep determines what accompanies you. Not everybody at the airport is travelling, some are touts they know all the flights, if you stand and talk to them you will miss your flight.

Not everybody in church is going somewhere, not everybody in your service group is going somewhere, mind the company you keep because it will either make you or it will mar you, you will not fail in your life, great is your future. Rise to your feet.

expressed their profound gratitude to the Man of God, Pastor Chris and the CEO of the LoveWorld Nation for believing in them and committing to

AS WE PRAY AND FAST, GOD BEGINS TO CREATE AN OASIS IN THE MIDST OF THE DESERT.

EVERY WORD THAT ADDRESSES THE LIVES OF PEOPLE COMES DIRECTLY FROM THE THRONE OF GOD AND THAT IS WHY WE ENGAGE THE ALTAR OF PRAYER.

THE WORD OF GOD IS ALSO THE KEY TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE MULTITUDES THAT COME.
THE ETERNAL WORD BRINGS ETERNAL ESTABLISHMENT.

Day 5, Evening Session
21 Days of Prayer and Fasting (10th to 30th January 2022)

Our Father, tonight we have come with gratitude in our hearts to give glory and praise, for all the encounters that You have given us since we began to access this mountain of prayer and fasting. We give all the glory unto You. Lord, tonight, our eyes are on You, we ask that You will speak to us, let Your Word transform us. We thank You because we know it is done, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.

Our line of exhortation in our evening prayer session this week has been:
PRAYER AND FASTING: THE LIVEWIRE OF EVERY GROWING CHURCH
From scriptures, the end time agenda of God is to see to the advancement of His Church on the earth, so much so that the kingdoms of this world are to become the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ – Revelation 11:15
This is why we are told in the end time; the mountain of the Lord’s House is to be exalted above all mountains and all hills and all nations will flow into it – Isaiah 2:1-2
Therefore, from scriptures, it is clear that the last days are ordained as days of supernatural growth for the Church of Christ – Zechariah 2:4
God has ordained the end time Church as a Church of multitudes but this agenda of God cannot be fulfilled in the energy of the flesh – Zechariah 4:6
Therefore, if it will be fulfilled, we require the engagement of God’s hand, because whatever God’s mouth speaks, it takes His hand to perform. Church Gist. To engage the hand of God, you and I must understand that we must engage it via a spiritual channel.

HOW DO WE ENGAGE GOD’S HAND FOR THE BUILDING OF HIS CHURCH AS HE HAS ORDAINED IN THIS LAST TIME?
We must understand that prayer is God’s wisdom for provoking supernatural Church growth. Prayer – Isaiah 66:7-8
From scriptures we are made to see that the travail refers to prayer. As we engage the altar of prayer, backing it up with fasting, we begin to see the hand of God manifest, provoking supernatural Church growth.

Quickly tonight, what does prayer and fasting do that provokes supernatural Church growth? We’ll look at 2 things very quickly tonight and I believe God that we shall see the order of growth that we have never seen before; that which eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, it has not entered the heart of man, we will see it this year.

1. Fresh revelation in the Word which is provoked by prayer is one of the keys to supernatural growth.
   As we pray and we fast, there is the unleashing of fresh revelation.
   Acts 6:4, 7 – The Word of God increased. As prayer increased, the Word of God increased.
   Acts 19:20 – From scriptures, we are made to see that as we engage the altar of prayer, there is the increase of the Word. Never forget, according to scriptures, wherever the revelation of the Word is found, the multitudes will be gathered.
   Acts 13:44, Luke 5:1, Luke 12:1
   As the Word grows in revelation, the multitudes grow in population. That is why we must keep engaging the altar of prayer and fasting because in doing so, we see the increase of the Word and with the increase of the Word comes the increase of the multitudes.
   Matthew 24:28 – Wherever the Word is scattered, the eagles will naturally gather.
   In other words, it is the potency of the Word of God that determines the multiplicity of the people. That is why you and I must understand the necessity of engaging in prayer and fasting.
   Somebody is saying, “why is prayer and fasting required for revelation?” Because it is the now Word, the sent Word, it is the right Word that changes the story of people and that Word can only be accessed as we go to God in prayer.
   Isaiah 50:4 – He openeth my ear, morning by morning to hear as the learned.
   Why? Isaiah 50:4 – That I may be able to speak a Word in season to him that is weary.
   Every Word that addresses the lives of people comes directly from the throne of God and that is why we engage the altar of prayer, because in doing so, there is the fresh Word, the right Word.
   That is why you hear people testifying that “God’s servant was speaking and it was like he was speaking directly to me.”
   What is that? The right Word. The Word that the individual requires at that time. That kind of Word can only be accessed as we press on the altar of prayer.
   The altar of prayer gives us access to the revelation of the Word of God which in turn brings about the multiplication of the people of God.

Beyond that, we also get to see that the Word of God is also the key to the establishment of the multitudes that come.
John 6:68 – The eternal Word brings eternal establishment.
He (Peter) said, “Thou has the word of eternal life”: Because of the Word we have received, there is nowhere we can go, there is nothing that can shift us, nothing can move us, nothing can disconnect us because of the potency of the Word that we have received.
That is why we pray for the unleashing of the right Word, unleashing of the sent Word, unleashing of the Word in season, unleashing of the Word of eternal life that will bring eternal settlement to the life of every individual.
Prayer and fasting provokes the revelation of the Word of God.

2. We discover that prayer and fasting enhances spiritual refreshing and that refreshing makes the Church like a watered garden whose waters fail not and as a result of that, it causes the sheep to lie down there. Church Gist. It brings spiritual refreshing.
   Isaiah 58:6, 11
   Why is this so critical? We live in a world that is full of weary people. The Bible makes us to understand in Matthew chapter 11 verses 28 and 29, Jesus said, “come unto Me, all of you that labour, that are heavy laden and I will give you rest…”
   We live in a world that is full of people that are weary, that are heavy laden and seeking for times of refreshing.
   Why is that so? Because we are told in these last days, the earth will burn like an oven and we are seeing it already – Malachi 4:1-2
   There is dryness everywhere in the world and people are looking for the place of refreshing.
   Jeremiah 17:5-8
   This is what is going on in the world around us.
   What happens to those who find their way to Zion? “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord and whose hope the Lord is. He shall be like a tree that is planted by the waters” – Isaiah 17:7-8
   Zion is the place of refreshing, outside of Zion, men are famishing. The famine is wild everywhere but in Zion, there is refreshing.
   What God is making the Church in these last days is an oasis in the desert, where there is a place of refreshing, where people are cocooned under God, when others are feeling the heat in life.
   That is what happens when we pray. Church Gist. As we pray and fast, God begins to create an oasis in the midst of the desert. The Church becomes that oasis where everyone comes for refreshing.
   Acts 3:19 – God’s presence is the fountain of refreshing and that presence is domiciled in Zion.
   As we come to the Church, the Church becomes the place of refreshing, particularly as we instigate that process through engagement in prayers and fasting.

That is what God has ordained for these last days. It means as we engage the altar of prayer and fasting, we see God begin to multiply the Word, we see God begin to cause refreshing in the Church and as a result, we see Him begin to multiply the Church.
The beauty of this is this, in the programme of God, everyone that is part of the multiplication must be a partaker of the glorification.
-For you, as you are engaging in advancing the Kingdom of God, be expectant, your hour of glory has come.

Prayer: One Word to Heaven, “Lord, give me grace to remain effective in advancing Your Kingdom on the altar of praying and fasting.”
Receive that grace this evening. Lord, give me grace, to remain effective in advancing Your Kingdom, on the altar of prayer and fasting. Grant unto me grace.
Thank You Father for that grace, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
That grace shall begin to manifest in your life, in Jesus precious name.

Give the Lord a big clap of hand and a louder shout of praise!

• Somebody believing God is answering our prayers, say Amen.

Micah 7:7
Many people are looking unto themselves and they are totally frustrated; “I am beautiful enough to have been married by now. I am educated enough to have been employed by now. I am intelligent enough to have been this or that. I’m anointed enough to be this or that and God says, you are looking unto yourself, you may remain in frustration.

“… I will wait for the God of my salvation.” I’m not in a hurry, my situation must change. I’ll wait, I’m not going to organize an alternative. I’ll not give myself a husband because God hasn’t given me a husband. I will wait for the God of my salvation and this is the whole reason why I’ll look up unto the Lord. This is why I will wait for God because my God will hear me. Is there anybody confident like that? Say after me;
“Tonight, my God will hear me. He has heard others, He has even heard me before, He will hear me now.”

Lift up your hands and begin to thank Him for hearing you. Tonight, my God will hear me.

  Father, thank You for a wonderful day. Thank You Lord for the gift of life, the testimonies, help, mercies and blessings of the fast so far. To You alone be all the praise, oh Lord in the name of Jesus.

  Father, thank You for the year of double – double. I trust You Lord for a double portion of unction to function in 2022, Lord in the name of Jesus.
• Isaiah 61:7
  Father, I make demands for double-double divine intervention for every trouble, reproach or frustration in my life before now in the name of Jesus.
• Revelation 12:11a
  Father, I reject every trace of shame, reproach or frustration orchestrated by the enemy for my life and destiny in 2022, I neutralize them by the blood of the lamb in the name of Jesus.

  Father, we ask that the news and noise of the move of Your Spirit in Your Church, Dunamis will spread far and wide bringing in the pull of multitudes unto salvation and discipleship, in the name of Jesus.

Day Five

Give the King of kings and the Lord of lords a big clap and a loud shout of praise. Somebody say; “Double-double.” That is what this year means for you!
Isaiah 61:7
This charge is a very brief charge titled:
DOUBLE FOR TROUBLE.

We serve the God who is a Specialist in giving double for people’s trouble; double result for life’s reproach, double result for insult, double manifestation for frustration, double elevation for limitation.

• Double result for reproach is coming your way!
• Double result for insult is coming your way!
• Double manifestation for your frustration is coming your way!
• Double elevation for your stagnation and your limitation is coming your way!

Do we have any example in scripture?
Yes!

1. Job (Job 1:2-4). By the time the enemy was through with his confrontation, Job had zero; from seven thousand camels to zero but the God who knows how to reward double for trouble showed up. Church Gist. By the time He was through with Job (Job 42:12-13), he recovered all. So God blessed the latter end of Job more than the beginning; where he had seven thousand sheep, it was now fourteen thousand – exactly double. Three thousand camels he had before was now six thousand. Five hundred oxen he had before was now a thousand. Everything just doubled exactly.

• For someone seated here, I don’t know what the devil took from you, but this year the double of it shall return. The minimum of your return shall be doubled!

1. Joseph got double for his trouble. A free-born man became a slave and a prisoner all together. When God was through with him (Genesis 49:31-34); in fact, Joseph’s own was far more than double. This is what God does; He gives you results that make you to forget insult. Church Gist.

• I don’t know who God is speaking to here tonight, but such result is coming your way in this season until those who insulted you become ashamed of themselves!

1. Ruth. When God was through with Ruth, you know Ruth lost husband, brother-in-law, father in-law, married for ten years, no child – All together in one person. By the time Ruth returned back to the land of Israel, in order for her to feed, she was picking food from the field of Boaz; she was picking and they left for her handful of grains, just to help her. Church Gist. When God was through with her, she became the owner of the field she was once begging from. When God was through with her, those who were beating her, the servants that were putting grains for her became her servant. When God was through with her, she became the great-grandmother of our Lord Jesus Christ.

• Somebody is about to buy the house you were once renting. By the time God is through with you, you’ll become the master where you were once a servant!

1. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They threw them into the fire but out of the fire came their promotion (Daniel 3:30). Double for trouble means promotion out of commotion. That is, in the place where you were confronted with commotion, where they was confusion, God rearranged the situation and gave you promotion. Church Gist

• Everywhere you are connected from around the world, in this year of double-double, the place of commotion around your life shall become the place of your promotion!

1. Daniel (Daniel 6:28). After coming out of the lion’s den, he prospered in the reign of Darius. Double for trouble means adversity giving way for prosperity. You were once in adversity, all of a sudden, you stepped into prosperity.

Beloveth, this is your portion!

WHAT IS KEY?
1). The refusal to give up until God shows up (Job 14:14). But it’s not far because we are in the season. Inside this fast, your God shall show up!

2). The decision to glorify God with your results. This beginning of miracle did Jesus in Cana of Galilee and showed forth His glory (John 2:11). The decision, the determination to glorify God with your results. Any million that will take you to hell will not come!

• Any contract that will make you marry another wife will never come!
• Every money that will make you too big for church, may it be far from you!
• Every money that will make you not to be able to serve in the Church as an usher or clean as a sanctuary keeper or serve as a counsellor or make you too big for the prayer band, that money will never come!
• Every level of wealth and influence that makes it impossible for you to preach the Gospel, may it never enter your hands!
• The kind of money that will make you build churches is rushing at you right now!
• The kind of resources that will make you to tell people; look at my life, am I suffering? Why can’t you follow my God? Don’t you like how I’m living; don’t you like what I am doing with my life? That kind of money, no devil shall stop it from coming your way!
• The kind of money that will make you take care of widows and orphans, is rushing at you right now!
• The kind of influence that will humble you the more, that kind of millions and billions, no devil shall stop it from coming your way. It is rushing at you right now!
• The Lord has given me plenty signs, not one, not two, not three, not four – plenty of it that unbelievable amount of money, supply is coming this year for the Church of Jesus, for the people of God in the Church but it is for those whose result will glorify God.

Somebody get ready, you must refuse to give up until God shows up and you must be determined and decided that whatever God will give you will glorify Him. What God has done in my life is glorifying Him to the world, even the devil can confirm this. Before the fast is over, I’ll hit the road, into the market – evangelizing. Church Gist. Come from a crusade of thousands of people in the crusade field and then you hit the corner, preaching to one-on-one. There are some that at a level, you are too big for some crowd, too big for some assignment.

• You are getting there. The devil that can stop you has not been born.

Lift your hands and say,
Father, I am ready to glorify You with my results. Try me Lord, I am ready and I am waiting for You. I know my story is changing right now!”

Father we give You the praise, honour, adoration. Blessed be Your name, in Jesus precious name.

The Lord showed me that distraction must be eliminated and it came in form of a revelation. I’ll not go into the details of how it was but something took your focus off your pursuit, reducing your energy and your enthusiasm, occupying your time and attention and your focus till you are unable to achieve what God wants you to achieve and what you want to achieve. Tonight, God wants you to look into your life and ask Him; “what are the things taking my energy, my time and distracting my life? Church Gist. Maybe it’s a relationship; business relationship, friend relationship, phone, internet. But it is a very serious thing. The Lord said “I want to do something drastic in your life, with your life but you are occupied, distractedly occupied and I speak to everyone here, between now and tomorrow and before this fast is over, whatever must become your priority, God will show it you.

• Anything in your life that is stopping you from becoming who God wants you to be, God will reveal it you!
• Anything that is taking your focus off the goal, taking your attention, reducing your energy, affecting your results; God will unveil it to you!

There was strife between Abraham and Lot made up his mind to take off from Abraham and it was when Lot took off that God spoke to Abraham; “lift your eyes, let me show you where you are going.” There are people like that in people’s lives. For as long as they are there, they are just occupying you. Church Gist. Young lady, relationship with a man, he hasn’t said he will marry you but you are just wasting your life and time with him and God is saying, you want me to give you a husband, you are wasting your life and time with somebody else.

• I prophesy to you today, all distractions of your life are eliminated right now!
• The grace to be free of anything; association, activity that is not helping your destiny and future, the Lord sets you free from it now!

Secondly, He showed me a document that was missing and the person was trying to dig the earth to find it and I am anointed here tonight to decree the recovery of that document. This thing has two implications; maybe you have a physical document you are looking for. Church Gist. You can’t find your certificate, you don’t know where it is,

• I prophesy today; anything that is a document around your life that is missing, I declare, it is released!

The spiritual aspect of it, where the lady is trying to get married and witches have buried their wedding certificate; “this one can never get married.” The other day, we heard a testimony of how an encounter, where the ground was opened and the children’s birth certificates of a woman trusting God for the fruit of the womb, came out.

• I stand here by the prophetic and the apostolic mantle of God on my life, every document belonging to you that the devil has hidden in any realm – wedding documents, wedding certificate, degree certificate, birth certificate of children, contract document everything belonging to you, I decree today, the earth is excavated, the strong rooms are opened and what is yours is released now!

So shall it be!
Go forth and return back with your testimony. The Lord bless you and keep you, cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you in Jesus’ name.

Our Father, again this morning, we thank You for the blessing of a brand-new day and every testimony in stock for everyone here this morning. As we go into Your Word, speak to each and everyone of us and bless every soul represented here.

It is my privilege this morning, as given of God and of His servant, my father, to bring quickly a Word of exhortation this morning. Since the week began, we have been looking at the subject:

KINGDOM ADVANCEMENT PRAYER IS EVERY BELIEVER’S RESPONSIBILITY
Please understand this morning, every child of God whether male or female, young or old is ordained of God to pray continuously and endlessly. We are ordained of God to continue to pray ceaselessly.
Luke 18:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:17
For the believer, prayer is not an admonishment, it is not a suggestion, it is a command. We saw that clearly depicted in Matthew chapter 6 verse 5 and 7
Matthew 6:5,7

The question is, ‘How are we commanded to pray? What is the protocol that guarantees answers on the prayer altar?’
We are ordained to keep praying Kingdom advancement prayer continuously and endlessly. Church Gist. When we talk about Kingdom advancement prayers, we are simply talking about Kingdom centered prayers, Kingdom focused prayers, Kingdom promoting prayers.
Matthew 6:9-10
Jesus began to show and unveil to us the protocol that guarantees answers on the prayer altar and He said, “after this manner therefore pray ye…” – Matthew 6:9-10
Kingdom centered prayers are simply ‘Thy Kingdom come’-order of prayers; ‘thy will be done on earth’-order of prayers. Never forget this truth that the Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of responsibilities. There are tasks, there are duties, there are responsibilities assigned, as ordained by God for every man.
One of my greatest lessons I have learnt from my father, he said, “there is always what we must do for God to move.” There is always what man must do for this God to move.
God’s Word, we understand also from scriptures, filled with examples of men and women who engaged in the mystery of praying Kingdom centered prayers; we see all the amazing testimonies and changes that erupted in their lives.

There are set patterns that must be followed if prayers must be answered and the scripture is very clear. Set patterns that every believer must subscribe to if prayers must be answered.
Matthew 6:31-33
All these things will be added – Matthew 6:33
You will not need to struggle for them, they will be added unto thee.
In the world of Economics, there is what they call scale of preference where we begin to arrange our wants and needs in the order of priorities and relative importance. So it is in the Kingdom of God, so it is on the altar of prayers.
God is saying simply, “you want to get all the things that the world is crying to get, there is a pattern to follow: keep ye first the Kingdom, keep pushing the advancement of the Kingdom, keep pushing for the promotion of the Kingdom; and every other thing you will ever need or desire will be added to you.”
-There is somebody here, you are returning with a testimony this morning.

Now we see the example of Nehemiah in scriptures. Nehemiah was a steward in the King’s palace but was a man given to a lifestyle of prayer and fasting for the restoration of the glory of Jerusalem.
When we read critically that story from Nehemiah chapter 1 verse 4 to 11
Nehemiah 1:4-11
Nehemiah was comfortable in the palace of the King. In the natural he had no concerns but when he heard the story of what had happened in Jerusalem
Nehemiah 1:4-5
The story of Nehemiah simply was this, the matters of God touched his heart to the point that his own comfort was of no essence any more.
Please hear this truth: until God’s matters matter to you, your matter will not matter before God.
Until the agenda of the Kingdom becomes priority in our lives, our own matters will not concern God –
-For somebody here, God will hear your cry this morning.

We see many believers today praying for the advancement of the Kingdom, praying for the growth of the Church, they say, “why am I praying? God does not need my prayer to grow His Church!”
“Pray for the retention of new converts and the establishment of new members”: If they want to stay, let them stay. My own desires are too many, I have not finished packaging my needs and presenting them before God and you are asking me to pray for the advancement of the Kingdom?
Hear this: the God that answers prayers, the One to whom you and I come to pray on the prayer altar, He is saying, “For Me to answer your prayers, there is a set protocol: seek ye first My Kingdom. Keep pushing for the advancement of My agenda and every other need of yours will be added to you cheaply.”
-There is somebody in the house this morning, you are returning with the biggest testimony.

WHAT ARE WE TO PRAY FOR?
We must continue to pray to grow in our love for God. We must continue to pray to keep growing in our love for God.

Please hear this, this morning saints of God, if we truly love this God, we will serve Him in season and out of season. Church Gist. If our love is genuine, it will not be conditional in our stewardship.
John 21:15-17
Jesus began to ask Peter a solid question, a love question. He said to him, “Simon, lovest thou Me more than these?”
If you read that chapter (John 21) from verse 1 to 14, you will begin to see the encounter that Jesus had with His disciples. They were out fishing all night and they caught nothing and Jesus got on scene; He said, “cast your net on the right side.” At the instance that they did, they enclosed of fishes – John 21:6
Jesus began to unveil the superiority of divinity, raw before their faces. As they dragged themselves out of the waters, they got there and there was provision of fish, fire, bread, everything, already set before them.
Jesus said, “bring all the fish you have caught” – John 21:10
The Bible said they dragged the net, great multitudes but the net did not break– John 21:11
Jesus began to ask them, “lovest thou Me more than these things? Are you serving Me for what you can get from Me or you are serving Me because you love Me?” – John 21:15
That is the question God is asking every believer today: Are you serving because of what you can get or because you genuinely love Me?

As I close this morning, never forget our labour of love will always be remembered by God for rewards – Hebrews 6:10
-It is my prayer this morning, for everyone here that our love level for God will continue to change levels.

Prayers: Receive grace to keep loving God all the days of your life. Receive that grace this morning, for our love level to keep changing.
Lord, continue to change my love level for You. Thank You precious Father, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

One of Africa’s richest women, Folorunso Alakija, on Friday, shared videos of her and other persons engaging in street evangelism in the Surulere area of Lagos.

Mrs Alakija who is worth $1 Billion according to Forbes together with her team were all dressed in yellow T-shirts with ‘Perfect peace’ inscribed as well as matching blue turbans.

On her Instagram, the video was captioned ‘Evangelism, come to the God that will give you the water of life…Whatever the problem is, Jesus, can solve them all and make a difference in your life.”

In another post on her Instagram page, she shared pictures of herself with the caption, “In Mark 16:15, Jesus Christ commanded us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. I will be at Bode Thomas, Surulere, today to preach the wonderful gospel of Jesus. Hope to see you there.”
