You can be a founder and still be a beggar because God pays only individuals not founders, nor leaders.
One can be in a place for a century and not experience a change. That son of Abraham said, “after 2 weeks, my job was restored. My son was healed of Asthma of 10 years. Favour came, I was sent to Peru. Attack came along with it, I took the Communion and I got free.” Speed of light. We still have about two and a half weeks more to go, anything can happen. He created the world in 6 days, anything can happen within the days remaining as you give yourself totally to these instructions in this ‘Midst of the Year’ revival and go all out: both on the Prayer Altar and reaching out to the lost with passion and see how the God of speed will step into your affairs. Don’t be an onlooker: a dramatic change is packaged for you in this revival. Don’t let another man take your crown. You are just about accessing your high place in Christ. 17 years of barrenness (from documented testimony): “Can they interpret to me?” Oh Yes She came to Church, gave her life to Jesus – 17 years of ordeal ended. BIBLICAL PROOFS AND BENEFITS OF A REVIVAL We discover from scriptures that every revival is accompanied with massive ingathering of souls into Church (Zephaniah 3:17-19) Every revival is a manifestation of God’s visitation among His people. Among the things He will do:

“…I will gather” (Zephaniah 3:19)
Every revival is ordained for massive ingathering of souls and they are gathered into the Church. Suddenly God came down in the Upper Room in the person of the Holy Ghost because the Three are One, and the resultant effect: massive ingathering of souls into Church. On the day of Pentecost, 3,000 were saved and added to the Church of 120. In Acts 4:4, 5,000 were saved and added to the Church. In Acts 5:14, multitudes of men and women. Every revival is validated by massive ingathering of souls into Church because every ‘un-gathered’ soul stands the risk of being consumed by the fowls of the air and God hates waste. He saves and He gathers. He said to us as we go with Him on partnership on the field:”…that your fruit should abide” (John 15:16) You can put it this way – “He that reapeth and gathers fruits unto eternal life receiveth wages” (John 4:35-36).
You don’t get paid for your Cocoa produce on the farm, you prepare it and get it ready to Cocoa house. It is weighed, valued and you are paid.
So, every revival is validated by massive salvation and massive ingathering of souls into Church for preservation. The church is God’s store house where the harvest is preserved. He gathers people into church until churches become towns without walls, that’s God’s verdict (Zephaniah 2:5). Massive ingathering of souls is one of the proofs of a great revival. Not entertaining people’s hearts, panting after God like you have it in this Church today by the grace of God. every bonafide Winner is up now, across the nations of the earth. The quickening power of God has descended which comes along with every revival.
Among the open benefits of a revival is Divine Favour. Every revival comes down along with waves of divine favour. What we had in Egypt was God coming down into the midst of His people, so Moses mission in Egypt was a revival heralding the visitation of the Almighty God among His people. God said, “no matter what, I will get you out of this land, I vow” and so the mission began. You saw the diverse plagues that came upon Egypt. It takes a devil sir, to watch his people being destroyed without any feeling, no wonder the Bible talks about the gods of Egypt. It wasn’t Pharaoh, it was the gods of Egypt working in Pharaoh to watch his entire land destroyed (Exodus 12:12). There was a time when all the cattle were destroyed, which was their main stock in business. Frogs invaded everywhere, and the land stank. Do you know what it means for the land to be smelling? They had boils every where including Pharaoh and his magicians couldn’t stand before him because they were all covered with boils, yet he won’t let go. That was not Pharaoh. Every human being has human feelings, Pharaoh had zero human feelings, he was over run, overtaken by a devil.
He (God) said, “when ye shall go, ye shall not go empty” (Exodus 3:21, Exodus 12:36). I will give this people favour and favour will eradicate their emptiness. Massive wealth transfer by the hand of God. When the Upper room revival took place, they were having favour with all the people, so it is a characteristic of a revival (Acts 2:47). It’s a season of manifestation of divine favour. For every engaging individual in this revival, expect:
Earth shaking favour.
King fearing favour.
How do you get to be part of that? Psalm 102:13-15 Taking pleasure in God and the interest of His Kingdom is the covenant qualifier to be a partaker of that favour. There is a rain of favour coming. It’s already falling. That my son lost his job for one year, six months (thereabout), I still remember the filling station where we met with his team of people. Everything turned within 2 weeks because he began to engage: “Haah, this is life. This is water of life, I must have my drink.”
So, taking pleasure in God and the interest of His Kingdom is what makes any believer a partaker of the favour that comes along with a revival and nothing flies like favour. One day of favour eradicated 430 years of struggle. Those fellows were carrying luggage of gold, they were paid for the 400 years of cheating. Favour got back their rights. Nothing flies like favour. Many of them may have never seen gold in their lives, gold became their luggage (Exodus 12:36).
Favour! Acts 2:47 Can you imagine someone went for a Marketing Executive interview and they said, “how do you hope to improve the sales of our product? He said in our Church, we have a ‘Come and See’ programme that we use to get people into Church, I’m going to use the thing. They (interviewers) said, “Yes. You will do the job.” Gave him the job, official car, official everything and then he left there.
They asked someone, “what have you done in the last 3 months that impacts on humanity.” He said: I led people to Christ. A postgraduate scholarship interview for Medicine: You led people to Christ? Interviewer(s): Can you give us their names? Testifier: He gave them the names of the 7 people and their telephone numbers without looking anywhere. They (interviewers) said: “for being so committed to the Church, you are a person we are looking for. They gave him a scholarship that covers his wife (he’s not married), covers his children. Favour! Not that I wrote an article or… He said, I led people to Christ, ‘so fe gbo’, because I want to lead you to Christ as you are looking at me. He got the scholarship, he was not ashamed of the gospel.
Favour! They said, we just saw your CV on the (inter)net and you are the person we are looking for. You didn’t see the man, maybe he sat on a chair and he is crippled, it doesn’t matter. As we saw your picture, you are the one we are looking for and he got an international job.
Favour is a characteristic of every revival. It’s now your turn (Psalm 44:3)
We stepped into Canaanland with 530 Acres of land, with C of O without any effort made by any man. There is no point telling you how much we bought it, you will see favour. Do you know the Church was not informed until we finished buying, to avoid any stranger that might be in our midst who would go and tamper with the system. Nobody heard it until, “hello, men and brethren, the land we are looking for is acquired. Now we have the C of O. Come on, give the Lord a big hand.” How did you get money to buy it? Favour Favour accompanies every revival. How did you get them to agree to sell? Favour! You can’t stop favour, nothing flies like favour. That’s the kind of favour that will keep following you.
Let’s conclude: we should always remember that God does not pay groups. He pays individuals. He that reapeth not THEY that reapeth (John 4:36). Matthew 20:8-9

Whether you are planting the seed of the Word on the field or you are watering it on the altar of prayer, everyone shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. Anna was 84-year-old and serving God with prayers and fasting in the temple.
Everyone shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. God does not pay groups, He pays individuals. God does not pay a leader, He pays labourers. The labourer, not the leader. The leader is paid by his status, “I’m a leader”, if they pay leaders but there is nowhere in the Bible where they pay leaders.
He doesn’t pay founders. You can be a founder of the Church and be a beggar in town or a beggar in the Church where you are the founder. When you are coming, they will say, “He is coming again” The member says, “well I don’t lie but for this man coming, just tell him I’m inside the room” because he is a founder beggar. God does not pay founders, He pays labourers. Everyone shall receive his own reward not according to his status, according to his own labour (1 Corinthians 3:8).
Well, one of us went out on a Saturday and got 16 souls. He got back home, God said: “get to bed, I want to operate on you.” Meanwhile, he had a metal implant in his elbow 2007 in India: excruciating pains, unbearable pains time and again. He went to bed, on a one-day engagement, you all know the story! The metal implant came out of his arm without any opening and you see on the metal implant ‘2007’. Hello: one-day engagement! You know how many days we have before 26th (July 2020), you can make anything happen.
Somebody went out, you know next Sunday is our ‘Covenant Day of Fruitfulness’ and she became a subject of mockery, her own older sister (born of same parent) said, “if your God is so good, why has He not given you children, you go about disturbing people- gospel, gospel, if your God is that good”, she became pregnant same time.
God never lies. He makes known His raw power in the midst of a revival. The good news is there not one person under heaven that will be part of next Sunday’s service who will still be called barren. Just obey the Word of the Lord. “If you serve Me (God), I will make sure you don’t remain barren, I vow” You are birthing souls into the Kingdom, I will make you a joyful mother of children, a joyful father of children. That’s what He does.
Ask God for grace to be a partaker of the favour that this season comes along with.
Many will have a one-day supernatural, turnaround experience between now and 26th of July 2020; you are part of that.
I will like you to pray extensively in the Spirit this week: whatever will rob you of your portion in this great revival, that it will be destroyed. You just engage in praying extensively in the Spirit. For my fellow believers who are not yet baptized, just say, “Jesus, baptize with the Holy Ghost. I want to be part of this spiritual warfare of praying in the Holy Ghost, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God.”

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has called on states, particularly Lagos and Ogun, to reopen churches and kicked against their continued closure.
CAN, in a statement yesterday by the Special Assistant, (Media and Communications), to its president, Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, said the continued closure of the worship centres was against the new relaxed lockdown protocol given by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
“The continued lockdown order on the places of worship is no longer acceptable and reasonably justified,” it added.
The Federal Government of Nigeria had in March directed the closure of religious centres as part of measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.
But CAN has said despite the directive on the reopening of religious centres by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, the states were yet to comply.
CAN said: “Despite the directive given by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 with regards to the reopening of places of worship nationwide, some states like Lagos and Ogun are yet to allow worship places, especially churches, to be reopened. What sin have the places of worship committed?
“With the sudden emergence of the coronavirus pandemic, the leadership of the CAN at all levels agreed with the government on the need to close down the places of worship, economy, schools and every other facet of life.
“But with the reopening of the economy, especially the markets (both organised and the unorganised markets) along with the plan to reopen airports and schools, the closure of churches anywhere in the country is no longer tenable and acceptable. In what way are the opened and roadside markets more organised than the church, which warranted their opening?
“Is it not our members in the places of worship that do go to markets and other sectors opened? Why are they allowed to go to markets and disallowed from going to places of worship? Is it because the marketers cannot contract the virus in the markets and airports?” The association said while scientists and researchers were working to produce a vaccine for the COVID-19, the Church had a spiritual role to play in the fight against the pandemic.
‘I thank God for everything but if I say that I ever envisaged that I would be this great in life, I would be telling a lie. I was just like the Biblical Joseph who did not know how great he would be in life even though he had visions and dreams. I was from a Muslim background. My father was an Alhaji and he built a mosque for the community’.
Born on 12 June 1949, Joseph Adebayo Adelakun was born Amusa Adelakun into a Muslim home, to a polygamous family of Salami Adelakun. He was the only son of his mother who was the fourth out of five wives. He hails from Saki, Oke Ogun, the Northern part of Oyo State, western Nigeria.
Regardless of his Muslim home, he loved music from his childhood and spent most of his time playing drums especially at Baptist Church, Oke Ogun, in Saki. He is from a highly disciplined family, his mother made him hawk foodstuff not because they were so poor, but because it was seen as training. ‘I was raised in a highly disciplined family, the kind of family where you dare not eat your meat till you had finished your meal’ he said.
He was a brilliant young boy, who was also popular in school because of his running skills that won him prizes. Unfortunately, his father died in August 1964 and coming from a family of sixteen children without a father, life became rough. He was admitted into various secondary schools, but could not attend any due to lack of funds. This led him to begin apprenticeship in Kareem Electrical Engineering Service, where he worked from 1966 to 1968.
He joined the Nigerian Army in 1969 after meeting his friend who taught him how to smoke. He completed his training in Abeokuta depot as a Nigerian Army Engineer and was posted to the Nigerian army engineering regiment in Ede, Osun State. He met Christ in 1972, on his way back from getting Indian hemp with his friends when they decided to stop at a Christ Apostolic Church ongoing Revival Service headed by Prophet S.O. Akande (Baba Abiye).
That night, he had a dream “I heard someone speak to me in a loud voice saying, ‘I am the person you came to meet and if you allow me I would make you great. I am taking you to great places. I am Jesus whom you know as the Prophet Isah.’ I rebuked the dream” he said. He shared this with his friends and they laughed at him. Gradually, he started going to church, he stopped smoking, drinking, gave his life to Christ, changed his name to Joseph and the Lord began to show him revelations.
In 1976, he was transferred to Kaduna where he became musically active. He fellowshipped with C.A.C Kawo, joined the Choir and also composed music for the Church choir. He released several albums before he resigned from the Nigerian Army at the Command Staff College Jaji, Nigeria, in 1982 to pursue his musical career fully. Joseph Adebayo gathered five people with him to form a band popularly known as ‘Ayewa International Gospel Singers’.
He joined C.A.C in Lagos, became one of the choristers under the tutelage of Evangelist D.K. Bankole. He became famous for his album titled ‘Amona tete maa bo’, released in 1984. He remained in the Church and was ordained a pastor in 1989 and in 1999 he became the Assistant General Superintendent (A.G.S.) Pastor Adelakun is still in the business of evangelizing and winning souls through his music. He has taken the Gospel to all parts of the World and has received awards on several grounds including the ‘Evergreen Award’ at the Crystal Awards in 2014.
When asked about when he would retire from music, he said: ‘Do people retire salt from soup? Until I die and God says it is time for me to come home, I would continue to sing. I love music a lot. Although I am a minister in CAC, the retirement age in the Church is 75, I am praying to clock 75 years on time so that I can face my music squarely. I don’t think I can retire from music’.
He is married to Mrs. Clara O. Adelakun and the union is blessed with four children: Emmanuel, Josiah, Christiana and Joseph. Over the years, he has not once neglected his calling of reaching out to people in music and catering for those in need.
He moved from a Muslim boy, to a man of relevance in the Christian community and became not just a person of influence, but also a voice that stands out, God bless you sir!
