Everyone has a scar. It might be a visible or invisible scar. Scars are caused by the pains we encounter in life. The pains might come from our accusers, enemies and sometimes even from our own foolishness, mistakes, negligence and stupidity.
No one walking in the purposes of God for their life is without a scar. No one walking this imperfect earth is void of scars. Because we are not Islands, because we live in relationships with humans and because we are in an unredeemed earth, we all possess scars. Some come from the pains of betrayals, accusations, failures and mistakes etc Scars from natural sufferings, hurts, poverty, hardship etc.
Many of our scars still bleed. They remind us of certain pains in life that came and left us undone. Occurrences that changed us for good.
But I have good news for you today. There is a scar that bleeds so that our own scars would not bleed again. There is a scar that speaks so that every other scar in our lives can be silent. There is a scar that is ever fresh so that our own scars can be healed.
He was betrayed, bruised, forsaken, neglected and underwent all possible pains, so that we who face these trials would defeat their stink. His pains hurt deepest, and His scars still bleed so that our own scars will have no power over us.
Run to Jesus…Look at His hands, look at His side!!
Jesus said “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and put out your hand and place it in My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believe.”
John 20:27
Face this week with Jesus and Live beyond the scars.
