GETTING SET FOR TURNAROUND ENCOUNTERS AT SHILOH 2020
In every race, you hear them say, “on your marks, get set, go”
How do I get myself set for the best of experience at Shiloh 2020?
We have used examples of scriptures to show what it means to be prepared to meet with God.
Hannah: 1 Samuel 1:13
Hannah went to Shiloh prepared to meet with God and she returned with her turnaround testimony.
The last testimony you heard (documented testimony) may sound ordinary but out of that crowd, on the last day of Shiloh, to now meet your runaway husband at the gate, it’s a divine arrangement: nobody meets anybody here. The crowd was to the gate, to now move and then meet at the gate! She was prepared for an encounter; God organized the encounter and they returned to each other at the gate:
“So, you are now a believer?”
Response: Yes and I have been praying that I will meet with you.
And so, marriage was consummated at the gate!
- There are going to be many more ‘at the gate’ encounters this time.
An encounter connotes something supernatural, something dramatic and that’s the feature of this Commission: Something Supernatural, Something Dramatic, something that there is no natural explanation to.
- The Tabernacle shall be dedicated 18th September 1999: there was no programme, agenda, award of contracts and the day was 17th September 1998; the mammoth project was to be delivered 18th September 1999.
That’s the Dramatic God we serve. We serve a Turnaround God.
She (Hannah) was so determined for an encounter that all the ceremony of Eli passing by: she was not deterred, she had no idea. Her heart was connected to heaven, they had to tell, “this is the High Priest passing.”
“Take away your wine from you.”
She said, “I’m not drunk oh, I was pouring my soul to God. I came to Shiloh prepared.”
“Ah, The Lord grant you the desire of your heart” (1 Samuel 1:17).
Man has to prepare his heart, to take delivery of an answer from God (Proverbs 16:1). You have to prepare your heart, to access heaven, so as to take delivery of what belongs to you.
Her heart was set, her heart was prepared: she had her encounter, her Samuel came. You’ll find from scriptures, Hannah had 5 children: it was not just one door that opened and then shut (Isaiah 60:11).
Performance in every contest is always a product of preparation. It’s a function of your level of preparation. How prepared you are determines the outcome in every race and this time, we are not just preparing in terms of changing your dress, changing your coat, washing your car. You are prepared with your heart.
You want to encounter God coming down in your life?
Exodus 19:10-11
Clear the barriers between you and heaven: consciously, deliberately, intentionally so.
“Lord, I must meet with you.”
The people sanctified themselves, they washed their cloths and on the third day, God came down (Exodus 19:16).
God demands preparation for anyone to have an encounter with Him. Spiritual preparation!
We serve a Turnaround God, you must experience Him this time.
We serve a Turnaround God, you shall experience Him this time.
We serve a Turnaround God, you will not be hearing the story anymore: they will be hearing your story.
It shall be a Mountain of Turnarounds for all prepared participants.
Our duty is to get ourselves prepared
1 Samuel 2:21
Not just once and for all. She (Hannah) was barren, being mocked day and night; God opened her womb and Samuel came. After Samuel, two other sons and 2 daughters. I’m sure, Hannah said, “Lord enough!”
- Every door that Heaven will open in your direction this time shall remain opened forever.
- I see God launching His people into that dramatic realm of life where things about you and me will just be on a supernatural frequency: the world can’t understand it (John 3:8).
- We are redeemed to operate in the realm of the Supernatural.
- God is going to grant every participant at Shiloh an encounter that will launch him/her into that supernatural realm of life where everything about your life is simply supernatural. Inexplainable events but undeniable in contents. That shall be your experience in the name of Jesus Christ!!!
Isaiah 60:11-15
- Everything about your life will turn glorious.
- All that used to mock you will come bending to you.
These are the things that will happen when you truly encounter this Turnaround God at Shiloh 2020. Prepare to meet thy God (Amos 4:12).
“I have a glorious package for you” – prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
“I have a dramatic package for you” – prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
“I have an enviable package waiting for you”
Every encounter with God requires preparation. May each one of us be adequately prepared for the wonders that God has in stock for us at Shiloh 2020. - The good news is that it shall be a hitch free event.
- Shiloh 2020 shall be a hitch free event.
- Shiloh 2020 shall be accident free.
- Shiloh 2020 shall be breakdown free.
- Shiloh 2020 shall be an experience of a lifetime for all participants in the name of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:8
“…I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it..” – that’s the kind of encounter waiting for you.
Prayer 1: Ask God for grace for adequate preparation to meet your God at Shiloh, your Turnaround God at Shiloh.
Jeremiah 30:21
Shiloh shall be a mountain of diverse encounters: in prayers, as you walk around in the premises, even as you go into the washroom. This God will keep appearing to everyone and by His Word in the name of Jesus.
Scriptures will be coming alive to you, addressing the issues of your life.
Every genuine Kingdom dream is gateway to a great destiny:
Lord, grant me an encounter that will make me an asset indeed to your Kingdom.
Without a Kingdom dream, destiny is utterly limited in the Kingdom. This is so important. It’s the gateway to a boom in the Kingdom: genuine Kingdom dream.
Prayer 2: Lord, grant me an encounter that will make and keep me an asset indeed in your Kingdom. Not a burden, not a liability. An asset indeed.
Grant me an encounter that will change my level of engagement with you.
A 24-year-old lady was found around ‘Ojuore’ during Shiloh 2018 and given a flier: a victim of sickle cell anaemia. She came for Shiloh that day, Jesus touched her that day and she became free from sickle cell anaemia.
What we are doing is telling the people, “Jesus is in town on a Mission. His Mission is to wipe away your tears, His Mission is to change your story, His Mission is to change your level. Come and meet with Jesus, He is in town on a special Mission.”
“Shiloh is Jesus in town on a special Mission to His people.”
We are doing that with all smiles and we’re moving all around to tell people, “Jesus is in town on a special Mission for you. He is in town on a special Mission to wipe away tears, on a special Mission to change people’s stories, on a special Mission to usher people into dramatic realms of life. Jesus is in town on a special Mission to His people.”
As we share these fliers, God will touch the lives of people. Every captive will respond and will liberated and set free.
Shiloh is simply Jesus in town on a special Mission to deliver our inheritance to us, to meet all our needs, change our story, move us forward, advance our cause, advance our destiny.
Prayer 3: Holy Ghost, breathe upon these fliers and bring in all those that are ordained to eternal life down here to Canaanland or any of the viewing centres across the city.
Every captive ordained for liberation will appear here.
Everyone in chains, ordained for liberty will appear here.
Every oppressed soul will appear here for deliverance.
Every battered destiny will appear here for recovery in the name of Jesus Christ.
- The good news is the devil has lost out: with 153 viewing centres across Lagos and Ota, the devil has lost out.
- Every Winner must endeavour to connect with Shiloh 2020 for their dramatic change of story!!
