Praise the Lord! I will share God’s Word and then we end with the anointing so that by the time you are done with Glory Reign, no carryover. There’s a way you write exam, if it’s anyhow they do, you have an A. You hear the Chokhmah children say I had A, A plus or whatever, A star. Okay, our own time was A and C now there is now A, B and star. Okay A star and then A. They have A star! That’s our school, it’s the best school in Nigeria, it’s not me talking that is what statistics showed. Church Gist. They showed it last year as the best school in the Country out of 100 schools so it’s not that I’m saying it. Kings College was around number seven, I don’t know if you have the data you bring it. I was shocked when I saw it as the best secondary school in Nigeria. Amen! All the big names you heard came out seven, eight, nine (of) the 100 schools. I was shocked when I saw it. How can a school founded by a pastor become the best, you know why? You can see the children. It’s beyond just reading, there are things we do that I can’t tell you on the pulpit now. It’s beyond what? Reading. First-class students are the best in the World? Most of you who have money made third class, true? Some second-class lower, then your first-class students come for employment, so this race is not to the most intelligent, true? But our children are the most smartest all over the World.
Last year, is it year before last, in Cambridge, the best in the World in English – Second language was from that School. We can hear them, ‘I heard nine papers, 8 of them’, Cambridge not WAEC. 8 A stars, that’s not conventional. Our children from overseas are brought to our school; born, bred up from Europe are in that School, core Muslim, a core Muslim came: ‘I want my child in this School’. We say: ‘It’s a Christian School’. He said: ‘Yes! This is where I want my child’. We say: ‘The child will pray oo’. He said: ‘Yes! He said because this School is different from every School, this is where I want my child’. Church Gist. All pastors! Education has failed by the government, it is left for the Church now. They strike every day, they close every day. All over the World, education has failed not only in Nigeria even in United Kingdom, Europe. Do you know you can’t say Jesus in some parts of the World? If a child says: ‘Jesus’! They say: ‘Shut up! Not in this class’. So, you find out where you send your children before your boy will say he wants to be a woman. Say: God forbid!
-None of our children will go astray.
So, don’t just send children abroad, first groom them with the Word of God, don’t just carry them abroad otherwise they just go haywire. Church Gist. They say: ‘Hi guys’! You see a boy wearing earrings, he’s off! You think it’s normal, a boy wearing earrings, he refuses to comb his hair, he’s going off. Call him back, say: ‘Come oo’.
-But I decree, none of our children will be lost in the name of Jesus.

Stay prosperous! To be prosperous means to be at ease, to be comfortable. Child of God, there is nothing wrong for you to live a good life. Ecclesiastes 5:18-19. So good life is your portion!

Poverty mentality is not of God. John 10:10b (AMPC). The lifestyle that God has chosen for us is His abundance but hear this, you can have money and not be prosperous. Poverty is a curse, it kills, it destroys just like any physiological disease. When you are poor you get sick faster. Did you hear what I said? Now, a rich man can avoid malaria true? A poor man cannot avoid it because mosquitoes will enter his house. Church Gist. So, poverty kills faster than anything. Are you hearing me? You know some cases where you can see somebody dying but they don’t have hospital bills to pay. They say, I’m exercising faith. You know this man needs treatment. If you have a wound on your leg, which faith are you exercising? Wound? They must treat it. But poor man can say, ‘I go believe God’. For wound?
-Poverty will leave you today!
In Deuteronomy 28:15-20, you will see the catalog of poverty I don’t need to read. Church Gist. The cure for poverty is to be blessed of God. Proverbs 10:22. So poverty is a curse, poverty is a what? Curse.
-Today, that curse will leave you in the name of Jesus.
The Word of God has an answer to every problem of life including poverty. Job 22:21-24. When God’s Word is out to work, it creates prosperity. John 1:1. All things were made by the Word including prosperity. Is that clear sir? Are you hearing what I’m talking about? Church Gist. No devil can make you poor with the Word of God. To be delivered from poverty, you must encounter light. Psalm 118:25-27. So it is with light you come out of poverty not the job you do, not your position. With what? Light. When someone encounters the Word of God, poverty can’t hold you bound.
Now, listen carefully! From the days I had no dime in my pocket, I said: ‘I can never be a poor preacher’. How many have heard me before? Some people thought I was arrogant, I had so much light, so much what? Light. Take every money, take me now, take everything Salvation Ministries has now, carry me with only Bible to a country called Haiti where they have gangsters, keep me in Haiti with the Bible, in six months I will reproduce everything we have now. Church Gist. Don’t give me a dime, just give me Bible and drop me in Haiti and say: ‘Pastor, you talk too much, we drop you here’. In six months, I will produce everything this Church has. It is not who you know, it’s the light you have. Are you getting what I’m talking about? Depth of understanding matters if you desire to be prosperous. 2 Corinthians 8:9. Jesus did not die only for your sins, He died for you to come out of poverty.
-I command poverty to leave your life forever
When you are in Christ, you are out of financial crisis. But knowledge is required to enjoy the benefits. Just like when you are in Christ, it is your right to be healthy, do you know that? Yet if you don’t know the way to it you can die of sickness. Health is a product of light. Just like; health is a product of what? Light. Church Gist. I used to be very sick before, very sick. Don’t think I don’t used to be sick, I used to be very sick before. But light came: ‘Himself took my infirmities’. Matthew 8:17. I said: ‘What? If He took it then I can’t have it’ and I’ve been swimming in health for years. This man is a ‘wakaholic’, workaholic yet I don’t break down.
When light comes, you can harass the devil in any area. Are you getting me, sir? You are not sick because of the condition of the weather you are sick because of lack of light. ‘My nose is blocking because of fluid’ (Illustrating). ‘The weather’. So all Fulani men should be sick because they move with cows, morning to night. Church Gist. ‘The dust is what made me’. If dust is the reason then every Fulani man should be doing like this (Sneezing) because morning to night they go with cows and they don’t get sick, it is nonsense. Now let me tell you a very touchy testimony, I had a domestic accident last year this my hand, doctor said I would never do like this (Open and close it).
In United States, they said: ‘Man of God, this accident you have, you will never flex your muscles like this’. I couldn’t do like this for some days. They said: ‘You will never do like this’. I smiled, I told the man there and then: ‘Me, me will not do my hand like this? Wetin I go take chop garri na’? (Laughing). I said: ‘Me no go chop garri’? The man came, a top consultant, he said: ‘No, from the x-ray your bones have damaged’. Church Gist. Dr Akpam is here we went for x-ray, the bone inside, when I saw it, the bones were in pieces. They said: ‘No you can’t do like this’, they said: ‘Forget it, you will live with it for life’, I smiled. One day God reminded me He said: ‘Hope you know that I have healed you’? He said: ‘Do your hand like this?’ I just smiled. It’s gone! Look at me now, am I not doing it? The light I have is too loaded for my hand to be like this, for what? So I will come, come dey keep hand like this, for wetin? (Laughing). See my hand here, na so. And I have been eating with it.
-I don’t know what is wrong with your body. It will be repaired and fixed back in the precious name of Jesus.

How to stay prosperous?
If one is to prosper how do you stay prosperous? You know balloon money can fly away oo in case you don’t know. How do you stay what? Prosperous. In the midst of COVID we were very rich yet we did not take, no (offering in the) Service. Look if you don’t get light, forget it. Church Gist. When COVID (came), people, Churches closed, this Church had so much money yet we never hide any physical fellowship, we didn’t take offering. So everybody was shocked, we increased the salary of workers inside COVID.
Say: Light!
That is, in COVID, I said: Increase the staff, their salary. Church Gist. Inside COVID we never had (Offering in the) Service but money was coming.
Say: Light!
When you have light your location is irrelevant. Your location is what? Irrelevant. I’m suffering because I’m in Nigeria. I’m suffering because I’m in Togo, you are suffering because you have no light. Church Gist. If you have light, no matter the same water Peter could not catch, when Jesus said: “No, cast your net into the deep”. The same water. John 21:5. Was he able to catch fishes? So the same place you are suffering if you know what I know you will not suffer. In fact, just know 10 percent of what I know, you will not suffer.
-Suffering will end in someone’s life.
How to stay prosperous?
1. Give yourself first.
Your own self first to God. You first! There was a man called David in the Bible, the Father of Solomon. Do you know why this Man’s wealth was lasting? This Man had a quality walk with God. So when Solomon came, Solomon made a statement, he said: And Solomon loved the Lord his God. 1 Kings 3:3. Hear this, walking in the status of David his father. So there is something Solomon knew about David. Church Gist. He said there is something about my father that made him not to be poor till he died. That was what launched Solomon into financial abundance. It answers to those who crave after God and not those who crave after money first. 1 Chronicles 29:2-4. This Man was stupendously rich. 1 Chronicles 29:12. Do you understand where it all began? This is it: You can’t give yourself and withhold what you have. The reason we are withholding is because we have not given ourselves first. You are withholding because you have not given yourself. 2 Corinthians 8:5. They first gave themselves, they didn’t give money first oo.
2. Love for God.
Matthew 22:37-38. You can’t love God and not have a place on the Earth. And you can’t give God His place and not have the highest place in life. Hear this. Love for God is the anchor for your destiny. Now, what does it mean to love God? What does it mean to love God? John 14:21. Because many of us say, God knows that I love Him, I’m sure some of you have said so: ‘Lord! You know I love You”. Some even sing it: 🎶 Lord, I love You Lord 🎶. With soprano, tenor, alto with fantastic voice. Love is not in singing, just imagine you come to your wife every day as a married man you say: 🎶I love you, sweetheart 🎶. Church Gist. Every day you come, the woman will be looking at you saying: 🎶 You don’t love me, sweetheart 🎶. If it is only song you will sing every day, the woman will just pursue you with knife. So, it’s not the one you sing and with your voice, fantastic voice, whether you are in choir or not in choir. (Illustrating). God will be looking at you and saying: ‘My friend, angels sing for Me every day’, you don’t just sing. John 14:21. If you love Me you will do what I said that you should do. His love is not in singing and clapping, it’s not even in prayer. I’ve not been praying for the Kingdom. It’s not in you shaking your head like this, it is expressed by how much you reverence His instructions. John 14:12. You can’t win the heart of God and not be entitled to God’s best. Matthew 6:33. If you give God’s Kingdom a priority, in life and affairs, you will never be a victim of circumstances of life. It is your addiction to God that is a key to addition from God. Genuine love for God is your access to stay prosperous.
-Say with me: I love Him.
Now, how do I prove my love?
But love is proven. You can’t be telling your spouse: ‘I love you, I love you’. And you don’t prove it, love is proved. I want to show you from the Bible, You prove your love when you sacrifice to Him. Now listen, a man Solomon, the wealthiest man in the Old Testament in 1 Kings 3:3-4 and 13. They don’t pray for money, they love God and sacrifice to get money. Church Gist. Let me tell you the secret to this: I have not prayed for money from 1997 and your prayer point today, money is the major thing; remove it, you don’t pray for money. Solomon loved the Lord, he sacrificed to God, then God said: ‘The money you did not ask for, I give you’. So money is addition, you don’t buy phone and pray for battery, it’s an accessory. You don’t pray for money! He (Solomon) loved God and when you sacrifice to God, doors open. 1 Kings 3:13.
-May someone here have a testimony that will shake the World.
John 3:16. What did He do? He gave… Why didn’t God pray, do you see the secret? God Himself could not break it, for God so love you, He sacrificed His Son. Sacrifice is the greatest proof of love. Why didn’t God say: ‘I love you’, therefore I pray for you. Hello, did you hear me? When your giving is love motivated, it connects you to Heavenly supply. Church Gist. Friends, if you don’t love God, Christianity can be very frustrating. 1 Corinthians 2:9. Love is authenticated by giving. The love of God is a giving love. Let me say this to you, you don’t increase by what you keep, you increase by what you give. When the love of God overwhelms you, giving becomes part of you. One day my wife came to me, life story and said: ‘My husband, the way you give, I hope you won’t give me as a sacrifice’. John 10:17-18. Check anywhere love is mentioned. Anywhere love is mentioned, giving is mentioned. It is at the altar of sacrifice we encounter supernatural turnaround.
Now, hear this and hear me well, sacrifice is not to meet God’s needs. God cannot be in need but to meet our needs. Church Gist. Your sacrifice can be tied to something you need from God. I’m going to give examples in the Bible. David wanted plagues to stop. There was a plague. 2 Samuel 24:24-25.
-Every plague in your family stops today.
Noah, there was a curse on humanity, I’m just giving you instances of the Bible. Noah wanted the curse on humanity reversed. That was where Noah laid offering that shook Heaven. Genesis 8:21. All these: ‘My family is going through curse’, it’s because your family and you are stingy. Church Gist. Drop a sacrifice, that curse will be lifted. If the curse over humanity was broken by a sacrifice of Noah, what are you praying (for) 70 days fasting and prayer? Are you the one that brought devil to the World? It’s stinginess! You can break any curse in any family with a sacrifice.
Now, Solomon wanted outstanding wisdom. 1 Kings 3:3. He laid a sacrifice, God said I will give you wisdom. So you can get the wisdom of God with a sacrifice. The God Almighty wanted to rescue humanity, what did He do? John 3:16. Psalms 126:1-6. Church Gist. God is not a cheat neither is His Church a cheat, every commandment is for our profiting. Whatever is not at a cost is not a sacrifice. A sacrifice must cost you something. Psalm 50:5. So, if you want God to deck you with so much honour and dignity, you render a sacrifice.
A man called Abraham in Genesis 22, one day God said: ‘You love Me? God said: ‘Do you love Me’? He said: ‘Yes I love You. Genesis 22:1. He said: ‘Okay, I’m going to test you’. Genesis 22:2. So every time God wants to test you, He will tell you (to give) something that you love so much. You know what God does? He takes from you to multiply you back. ‘Give Me Isaac whom you love’, He didn’t say: ‘Give me Ishmael’ because He knew Ishmael was not in the Book. He said: ‘Isaac, you love him so much, bring the only child first, before others come. Give me Isaac’. Church Gist. God was trying to see whether Abraham really loves Him. Abraham said: ‘Anything you talk, I do, it’s not a problem’. Genesis 22:5, Genesis 22:13, Genesis 22: 6-18. Will God swear for you? God said: ‘Swear not’! He swore. You know why? In the World, we say? ‘True to God’, God has nobody to swear to. You, you say: ‘True to God’! God said now, I can’t swear to anybody, I swear Myself. If God swears for you nobody can kill you oo. Let all the witches in this World gather, they can’t kill you. The present Israel is enjoying what Abraham did.
-And by connectivity, you will enjoy it in the name of Jesus.

The altar of sacrifice is the altar of turnaround blessings – Sworn blessings. When you give, God looks at you and says: ‘I bless you’. And if God blesses you, forget it, let everybody hate you, you will succeed. Romans 15:4. Church Gist. Do you know, No attack, if he (somebody) is giving, can subdue a sworn blessing? The angles of your enemies can’t stop you. Okay, do you like me? Many hate me. Is it working? You think everybody likes me? How can I succeed and people will like me? There are people, ‘nwunwnwu’ (Referring to murmuring), nothing! They will make ‘nwunwnwu’ about you, they will do you nothing.
-I don’t care who hates you, they will do you nothing.
The anger of the enemies can’t stop you, they can make ‘nwunwnwu’, they will just be backbiting at you, backbiting and staying at the back. The altar of sacrifice is to meet our needs as individuals, as businesses, as companies, as organizations, even as nations. Now listen, the worth is determined by its value not just the cost, offer it with a sacrificial mentality. Church Gist. The altar of sacrifice changes you and not God. Now, listen carefully, when I was preparing for Glory Reign, He said: ‘Before anybody gives, you, give’. And I was on a Sunday Service, how many were in Church that day? He said to me a figure that shook me. You know how I knew it was a sacrifice? I’m a pastor oo, He said to me: ‘You say you love me? Before anybody gives, you, give nine figures’. I’m a pastor, I don’t do oil and gas, the only thing I do is preaching.
He said to me: ‘Now, you want to prove to me, ‘I think you love Me? Now, give Me nine figures’. As a pastor! You know me, when God speaks to me I don’t waste time. All these your dragging, you don’t love God. Don’t you love yourself? Do you drag to buy shoes? Have you ever dragged? ‘This shoe’. You just go to shop buy shoes. When you want to do your hair, do you drag to buy the hair? In fact you go for very expensive hair. You say? this hair is not fine, this one is fine, I’ll buy it. Church Gist. Then when it comes to God, ‘I dey think’ na God you go dey think but your own you no think. You just went, you said: ‘Which hair’? In fact this one, if they give you cheap one, you say: ‘Too cheap na? Bring the very expensive one, very expensive one’. Then when it comes to God, you say: ‘Anything wey you give, em go take am’, Taa! Cain gave offering God did not take it. Not every sacrifice God takes, there are sacrifices you give na usher go take am oo. (Laughing). You give something that will cost you something then He turns your captivity.
In 2012, I never had a physical house. By 2012, not one block. And He said to me: ‘You love Me, give Me one million dollars’. Today it is 1.2 billion naira. Pastor! 1.4 (billion naira) eh? Thank God for una country oo. 1.4 (billion naira). Me, I say 1.2 (billion naira) today. Okay! You dey Abuja nah, so you dey correct. Pastor is in Abuja so Abuja people know currency rate with aboki them. (Laughing). Now listen, 2012, can I humble you? This is my wife. I didn’t tell her, I didn’t discuss with her. If I tell her she will agree but I didn’t discuss with her. Church Gist. When Abraham wanted to give Isaac, he didn’t discuss with Sarah. ‘I like to talk to my wife’, you don’t want to give. When you bought your shoe, did you talk to your wife? I like my wife to know everything, it’s a lie, everybody has privacy. Why you dey keep your cheque? Hide your cheque if your husband… (Laughing). Your cheque book, I think when your husband dey come, you say: ‘But everything I do my husband knows’. It’s a lie! Everybody get money wey nobody know. It is when it comes to God: ‘I like to be open’, my friend, na lie! All those are deceit when you no wan give.
God said if you give me one million dollars, I gave the offering without anybody knowing. Only that accountant had the privilege to know. He said: ‘Sir’. ‘Shii! I did not share that testimony after some years when Heaven exploded. I now one day came up but if I share that time, they say: ‘Ah! E don give, em wan beg. After e give, e wan tell us make we donate’. Church Gist. So I refused to share the testimony! Will I be talking about house today? No! People give me house, they just give me, they say: ‘Sir, there is land there, I dash you. There’s property here, I dash you’. Don’t think it came by luck, you can’t touch God and God will not touch you. Listen carefully, I’ve been going for Shiloh for years, I’m not a member of Winners Chapel but I’ve been giving sacrifices from the day till today, it has not reduced me. You know why? Whatever you make happen somewhere, God will make happen for you.
Somebody came from Winners (Chapel), he said God spoke to him to build Churches for us, I smiled. He (God) said: ‘Do you know why this Man came’? Because of the seed you sowed there. He said: ‘God told me, Salvation Ministries. He said I’m a Winners member, I’m a member of Winners Chapel but God spoke to me to build Churches’. Church Gist. He said: ‘Give me any Church I will build’. I laughed, I said why? He said because of your seed you sowed there, this is the harvest. He does not live in Nigeria, the man lives overseas. (Illustrating). I’m a member of that Church, ‘Stay there’. Okay when I bless you, why you no throway the blessing? When I say: ‘God bless you’, you say: ‘Amen’ But when it comes to money (Laughing). Those are wrong perspectives, don’t ever have that kind of mindset.
Me, I’ve given my own sacrifice oo. We were not taking Glory Reign sacrifices before but God told me: ‘The people can’t be blessed if you don’t take sacrifice every year. As you pray for them, let them also go financially up’. Because if all they get is: ‘Sickness go!! What of this thing (money)’? If sickness goes, this is not there, e no complete oo. Listen, oh God, can I tell you something? If you are poor your mouth no go sharp. Church Gist. You see my sons, you see them by the left, you know why my mouth sharp? I no go wan dey ask them: ‘Find me something’, lie lie. They will see it as a privilege but if you’re poor you go take style tell them say: ‘Nna, find me something’. How can you tell Governor now who is here: Find me something. E go fit respect me again? Lie, lie!! Your preaching go just dey yeye. You go tell your own son, ‘Find me something’? No! But when he does it he sees it as a privilege. When you go say: Find me something: ‘Chei! Na them oo’. But when you are comfortable. Do you know when you are blessed everybody sees it as a privilege.
-That’s why poverty will leave you forever.
I’ve been privileged to pray for Governors in America. My wife is a living witness! I prayed for the past Maryland Governor to be a governor. Went to the Government House, I never asked him for anything. Never! I’ve paid my ticket, I didn’t say: ‘Give me money for ticket’! If I offer they will give me but I will never do that. Church Gist. We flew with our ticket, got there prayed for him and I got back. The Man was shocked because in an African way, he will say: ‘You know? I’m in America, you can get me some dollars’ Me? Am I not the one who prayed for you? The Oil I have is bigger than the money you have.
-That’s why you will never be broke as I’m speaking.
Benefits of sacrificial giving.
1. It averts plagues.
So you can tell your sacrifice to remove a plague. Church Gist. Maybe a particular plague in your family has been occurring, use sacrifice to avert it. 2 Samuel 24:24-25.
2. Deliverance from curses.
Genesis 8:20-22. In case there is a curse, use your sacrifice to say: ‘This curse must go’. Businessmen hear this:
3. Revelation for breakthroughs.
The moment Abraham dropped Isaac, you know what God said to him? He said: ‘Look back, you will see a ram’. Genesis 22:13. He never saw that ram until he dropped Isaac, so at the point of sacrifice. God shows you what He can’t show others. Church Gist. Now listen carefully I gave a sacrifice at a time and God showed me a secret for Church growth that I can’t share now, that’s how this Church exploded. Don’t think everything is prayer, the moment I laid the sacrifice I said: ‘Lord! Show me the secret of (Church growth)’, my eyes opened. So sacrifice brings what? (Revelation). Businessmen, most of you are doing ‘kirinkirinkirin’ because the ‘kirinkirinkirin’ is too much.
-May somebody’s eyes open right now.
4. Captivities are turned with sacrifice.

9. You gain access to divine secrets and ideas.
Abraham got access to divine secrets by sacrifice. Genesis 13:2. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Joseph, they got strange ideas. Sacrifice opens the Heaven for inspired ideas. Church Gist. The wealthiest man in Bible history was (Solomon), his wisdom was birthed on the altar of sacrifice. Matthew 12:42. John 20:21.

10. Sacrifice offers divine health.
Psalms 41:1-3. Now listen, life story! David was sick and death came face to face. Listen, not everything you pray, I’m anointed with all humility true? We prayed and death was coming. The money is in millions! But I didn’t give Salvation Ministries’ money, it’s my money I had to give as sacrifice because it was not Salvation Ministries the boy was sick for. There is nothing wrong even if I gave Church money but I didn’t give Church money, I just want to tell you. I gave it on behalf of myself because I didn’t want that to happen to the young man. So you understand sacrifice?
Now, a man called John D. Rockefeller, how many of you have heard his name? John D. Rockefeller was the first acknowledged billionaire in the history of America. He had terminal cancer and that time, no cure. They told him he would die at the age of 52 he would not go beyond 52. John D. Rockefeller gave 50 percent of his income, lived to 97. You didn’t hear me, he was given up to die at 52 with terminal cancer, he gave 50 percent of everything he had, lived to 97. That’s how powerful sacrifice is, it can terminate any sickness. Some people are so stingy even in the point of death dem still dey hold money. Your life is more important than money oo. Church Gist. This money you go chop am? You know why you should give sacrifice? If you no give, your children if one of them be yeye children, all the money wey you keep na you sabi the rest. I have lived a sacrificial life that’s why I’m not broke and I can never be broke. Let economy turn upside down, I can never be broke because I know what to do to move God. I know how to move God like (Illustrating). I have been giving sacrifice as a lifestyle. Now this one that I am preaching, me I have done my own oo, I have given nine figures. How many figures? Nine. You too your brain calculate am. I’m not going to give, I won’t preach what I would not do. Me I’ve done my own. So, if me wey be pastor give nine figures, stay your own.
Psalms 50:5. How This man of God dey take get money? I don tell you oo. I no dey beg oo, this one wey you dey write note everywhere dey call: Find me something!! Find God something then nobody go look for you. Now listen, how come America is the wealthiest nation on earth? They are the most sacrificial nation on earth. No nation gives as America. Church Gist. How come in Europe, Germany has a very stable economy? Do you know Germans if you’re a Christian, 10 percent of your income is taken, they don’t call it tithe. But it’s indirect tithe. You don’t know? When you see something happen both for nations there’s a secret. How come in you family, the stingy ones are very poor? Including you wey dey stingy. You find out the ones whose hands are free in your family are the ones God… Don’t say na devil dem dey use. You wey get God, your hand dey like this. Aka chii (Stinginess).
‘This one wey em don talk sacrifice, na em oo, em don start, na so dem dey do. Na Oyedepo dem and David Ibiyeomie dem’. My friend, God does not need your money, if you don’t want to give, keep it down. But I’m telling you the secret of how to come out of poverty. John 3:16. If God will give, full yourself with prayer (Illustrating). If God never gave Jesus, you would have been held by the devil. You know why satan is holding all your blessings? Stinginess. You have prayed but God is saying, Me I released My Son, release your only one, you too release. You do like this (Saying no). If you noticed, prayer warriors are the poorest people because they think they can use prayer to bribe God. I’m a miracle person but I’m a giver. On my 60th birthday, I gave scholarship to 1000 persons. Church Gist. One thousand! Me! 1000, I give personal scholarships of two point something billion (naira). I’m a pastor oo! That’s why I can’t be poor. If I use 10 percent of my income that I get, I will be buying houses every month. My money goes for charity more than anything else but it has not made me poor, so giving does not reduce people. I have never seen a giver who became poor, in fact, it’s stinginess that kills people. Stinginess! And Africans are very stingy! That you are a black man does not mean you are a lack man. Stop behaving like a black man behave like a child of God because there’s no black man, there’s no white man. It’s a misplacement of English. Behave like a child of God stop behaving like a (black man). You don’t say: I’m a black man. Give sacrificially, you will see God.
Well, for the year. This year 2024, you will ask God to tell you what you will give. The sacrifice will be used for two major things: This year own, we will use it to complete the Cathedral. Church Gist. We have paid for many things but the finishing is not like it oo, then we use it to build Satellite Churches. Are you getting me now? Those are the two areas we are targeting. This is how the Cathedral looks now.

Hallelujah! Bayelsa State, we gave them hundreds of millions. They are still in construction, it is one of the largest in the Country and Bayelsa is about the biggest Church right now. And part of the sacrifice because they are still working, they have their money they are putting but it’s massive because the place is big. Church Gist. You know Bayelsa? To construct something there, it needs grace. Filling alone is enough to build a house but we have them, hundreds of millions from the sacrifice. And we borrowed properties also from the sacrifice and money has been judiciously used.
The sacrifice money we don’t use it for anything else except for the purpose it is for. The present things for the Cathedral have been paid but Cathedral is not just (a) finished building. When you talk about speakers alone, you’re talking about billions of dollars. Six has been paid for, six alone is in billions of dollars. Part of the money has been used but we still need more to get to that point. Church Gist. But without any mortal man, God will still do it so don’t get cocky. I’m only telling you so that you can get blessed. I’ve learned to be a sacrificial giver, it never reduces me, I give every year in Shiloh, I keep going up. Members here give in Shiloh we have never come down. So don’t say: ‘Na my Church’? If you have that mindset you are off track. Am I not blessing you? Did I bless you based on Church? Answer me. When I prayed, I prayed from my heart. So you are not giving to David Ibiyeomie. Who are you giving to? (God).

We have information, listen! You can single-handedly build a Church of this capacity, this is how the prototype is. (Referring to the prototype design of worship centers). But someone like me now, If I give this kind of amount, God will flog me. Ask me why. If me, this is not a sacrifice to me. That’s why if I give God 80 million God will tell me: ‘David Ibiyeomie, you are stupid. You mean 80 million for Me? That’s not a sacrifice’. 80 million is not a sacrifice for my level. That’s where He looks at me, sacrifice must be something that costs you something. It is not offering, it’s sacrificial. That’s why God did not ask for Ishmael, He asked for Isaac. So you know your level, somebody’s ten naira may be a sacrifice, somebody’s one million may not be a sacrifice. Did you hear me? It is not the amount, it is the person and your class. Has God dropped anything? Has God dropped anything in your heart?

Now listen, the bigness of this Ministry came through sacrifice. Let me open up to you, this Ministry came through sacrifice. When landlord said we should pay, I took one million dollars from this Church long ago and dropped it. Church Gist. We paid for the property in two weeks. Ministry stop going to beg other ministries, live a sacrificial life. The secret is not in begging. I’ve never begged any mortal man who is who, my sacrifice makes them to remember on their own. Please your lifting is not in the hands of any man. Give!
Na when they call money you go dey hear ‘nwunwunwu’. All the time I dey pray for una, nobody make ‘nwunwunwu’. Anytime you come to money you go dey hear ‘nwunwunwu’. You go see anointing now, nobody go make ‘nwunwunwu’ na only Amen, Amen you go dey hear. (Laughing). But you can never come out of poverty except by sacrifice. Let me say this to you, normal offering, normal tithing can never make you a prosperous man, you will just be eating small small, it is only sacrificial giving that changes a man’s level. Church Gist. And I noticed something when we go to Shiloh, some people because Bishop takes sacrifice every last day. You see them by Friday they will go. And all the people that did that they are poor till today. They will purposely say I’m going on Friday because they know sacrifice is on Saturday and I’ve not seen one of them come out of poverty. We go do am every year oo, so just prepare yourself, nothing like, next year we no go do am. It’s a yearly event. I’ve been giving in Shiloh every year, I have not been poor; so that we won’t just be praying. So when Church people come out, you see everybody comfortable, don’t you like that?
