AMPLYING PRAYER EFFECTS

James 5: 16
Our objective is to unveil those factors that amplify prayer effect.
This microphone has amplified my voice but without it and I am still talking, you cannot hear my voice. In the same manner, it is possible to pray and those prayer do not go too far because it has not been amplified.
FACTORS THAT AMPLIFY PRAYER
- Righteous Living.
Psalm 24:4-5
Who is the person that can access God? It is the person whose hands are clean.
What does righteousness entail?
It entails first, existence with a conscience that is void of offense towards God and towards man. Act 24:16. Defiled conscience equals denied access. When the conscience is defiled, the access is denied.
- Thankful Living.
When you know how to give thanks and you know how to praise God, you amplify the impact of your prayer. There are people who call themselves prayer warriors, they have no business with praise and worship, their own is to pray, no wonder the problem still continues.
Philippians 4:4-7.
It is the existence with the attitude of gratitude or the lifestyle of appreciation of God for His faithfulness in time past.
Psalm 103:1-5.
Appreciation for His acts in the past is qualification for His acts of the future. Nobody is qualified for what God has to do next without appreciation for what He did last.
- Love-full Living.
Mark 11:25-26. Your attitude towards man determines God’s attitude towards you. You can’t hate people and expect God to love you.
It implies existence with the interest and welfare of others at heart, that is existence with goodwill for others. Matthew 7:12.
God is interested in the lives of those who are interested in the lives of others. No wonder the prayer of Job only got answered when he prayed for his friends. Job 42:10
You have prayed for yourself enough, it is time for you to pray for others.
Wish people well, don’t wish them bad. Nobody’s success is responsible for your lack of success, just wish them well and you will attract what you celebrate.
- Sacrificial Living. Psalm 20:1-3
2nd Chronicles 1:6-7. There are things you do for God and He is the one asking you to ask. May He remember your burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Sacrificial living entails existence with the lifestyle of sacrificial giving towards the Kingdom and this provokes Divine intervention. The act of sacrifices continually provokes the fire of Divine intervention. Luke 7:5-6. Your heart for God determines God’s heart for you.
- Fast-full Living. Isaiah 58:6.
It entails the periodic intensification of desire and desperation through the fast. Spiritual deliveries happen at the frequency of spiritual desperation and that desperation is intensified at the place of prayer. Genesis 32:26.
- Prayer in the Spirit. Romans 8:26-27. Praying in the Spirit is praying abundantly, extensively and intensively in the Spirit as frequently as possible. 1st Corinthians 14:2
Praying in the Spirit is praying in the realm of mysteries that establishes a person in the realm of mastery.
I prayed a lot in the Spirit while I was a student in the University, the Spirit was so abundant, it is still abundant but back then it used to look like my mouth was always speaking.
I remember writing Medicine Part 2 finals and I went into the exam hall and what I saw in the exams, I had already seen all of them before I arrived and so I was writing in the realm of someone who had already seen the questions.
- Kingdom Service. Exodus 23:26
Kingdom service entails releasing your time, energy and resources in the assignment of the Father. Whether it is the assignment of soul winning, praying for revival, that is what we call Kingdom service.
Service to God answers prayer that haven’t been prayed. Prayer that you have not prayed for, He answers them.
I have not prayed for a house, for a car, for a shirt, a shoe since I started serving this God many years ago on full time. I have not asked God I am trusting you for a car, and somebody says it is because the church is big. No. When we were in a room in a boys’ quarter at the beginning of this church, I didn’t pray for a house. We were in one house, rented house for thirteen years, pastoring a big church according to the qualification of man, thirteen solid years in a rented house. Not one day ‘Lord, give us a house’, it wasn’t a prayer point.
He makes all things beautiful in its time. When it is time, it will come. No good thing will He withhold. If He is withholding it, it means it is not yet the time. Psalm 84:11.
If it appears as if it is being withheld, that means it is not good for now. To every agenda of the enemy to stop what is yours, you can handle that at the place of prayer. Just do what you need to do and when it is time, houses will come.There are things you do for God that makes prayers you haven’t prayed to be answered and I believe it is someone’s portion in Jesus Name.
