Praise the Lord!
This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Welcome to morning glow, welcome to another time in the presence of the Lord. I’m trusting the Lord that you will be blessed, you will be highly favoured, you will be impacted and your life will never be the same.
It is a fresh new day and another day to magnify our God, to glorify our God, to celebrate our God and to make His name great from the rising of the sun to the going down of it, the name of our God will always be great.
Our God, our saviour, You are God from the beginning to the end, there is no place for argument. You are mighty a God. There is no mountain You cannot move. There is no situation You cannot change. Mountain moving God. Challenging crushing God, healer delivering God. Saviour God. Take glory this morning, take praise this morning.
We come together today and we come that You will bless Your people. We magnify You because You will exceed our expectations, You will exceed our prayer and You will work mightily in the life of Your people.
Lord open the heavens, open the flood gates. Heal the sick this morning, set the captives free, stretch Your hands. Let there be a mighty outstretching of Your hands to do awesome things, wonderful things, glorious things and great things in the name of Jesus.
Bless someone, touch their lives, fill their mouth with celebration and thanksgiving to the glory of Your name in Jesus name.

Praise the Lord. I will like to welcome you to this morning’s morning glow. Trusting the Lord that you will be blessed, you will be favoured and your life will never be the same. You will have reasons to magnify God and you will have reasons to glorify the Lord. You will have reasons to thank Him for what He is about to do in your life.
The goodness of God is not premised on what He has done or what He has not done for you. He is always just eternally forever good. Church Gist. So we must learn to appreciate God for who He is first before we even talk about what He does. So we must be grateful to the God whom we serve.
It is going to be a great morning today as we take the time to pray the hand of God. For those of you who may be joining us probably for the first time, it’s going to be a praying of the hand of God in our lives.
The hand of the Lord is a very strong teaching in Scriptures. We see the hand of the Lord several times. The reference hand of God or hand of the Lord. The hand of the Lord is found 39 times in the Bible, 36 times in the Old Testament and 3 times in the New Testament. Church Gist. Then we see the hand of God 16 times in the Bible.
When the Bible talks about the hand of God, it talks of what the hand of God would do mightily; that’s the first truth. The hand of the Lord is mighty. When God put His hand on a thing, change comes, breakthrough comes, doors open, favour flows. So there is no doubt that in this season of your life, somebody connected to this morning glow, get ready for a shift in the realm of the Spirit. Church Gist. Get ready for an uncommon result to follow you. get ready for testimony to follow you and get ready for your life to change in the name of Jesus.
The second truth about the hand of God is that the hand of the Lord is mighty and dangerously deadly against His enemies. Anyone who is an enemy of God, an enemy of His word, an enemy of His people, the hand of God is deadly and dangerous against them. We see this severally in Scriptures and when we pray this morning, we are going to pray the hand of God to come against anything that work against your peace.
The Philistines for example, they thought the Ark of God was just a box. When they physically defeated the army of Israel, they carried it as part of their conquest back to their country. But they made a mistake because they didn’t know that God has said I will meet with Israel at the place of this box. Church Gist. They didn’t know that it carried the presence of the One who spoke the universe into existence. They joke with it. But the Bible says when the Philistines took the Ark of God, 1 Samuel 5:1-7, verse 2, they brought it into the house of Dagon. Dagon is a god made by hand by this Philistine.
1 Samuel 5:2-5
“When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon.
And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.
And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.
Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon’s house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day.”
The hand of God is dangerous on His enemies (Psalm 75:5-8). When God’s hand is against a people, a nation, a group; they suffer the consequences badly. This morning as we take the time; when we pray the hand today, the hand of the Lord will be stretched to win battles for you, to silence Satan, to bring your victory, to turn doors open, to prove Himself mighty and strong on your behalf and to do awesome things.
The hand of the Lord is deadly and dangerous against His enemies. He shut the mouth of the devils, He empowers His servants. 1 Kings 18:44-46, the hand of the Lord was upon Elijah to show Ahab and every that; you have made a mistake in going out after that demonic terrible god called Bilhah.
The hand of God was on Elijah, he began to run and outran the chariot of the king for 27 miles; that is supernatural, that is superhuman. Church Gist. That is more than iron man, that is more than Kent Clark, superman; this is God at work.
When God’s hand is on your life, you excel, you exceed, you do the things that flesh could not naturally have done and I am praying for somebody on this platform this morning; you will excel, you will excel, you will bypass human limitation, even you too will be shocked at the things the Lord will do through you and for you in the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
- God will prove Himself mighty in your life and He will show that He is an awesome, great God in your life in the name of Jesus.
- I pray for you that you will truly experience this hand for favour and for testimony in the name of Jesus.
Then the hand of the Lord can be stretched to prove Himself among His people in healing the sick, setting captives free, miracles in the Church. Church Gist. Many times we bring in flesh to the Church but the time has come for us to see His hand at work, to see a demonstration of the hand of the Lord in the name of Jesus.
The hand of the Lord was on Christians. The day when the Church was born, it was born in the most horrible period on earth. All those emperors demanded worship. An emperor was seen as a god just like the days of Pharaoh even though the days of Pharaoh and the days of the emperor, there was something like 1,500-year gap between them.
The Pharaohs believed that they were descendants of the gods and they behaved beyond what you can imagined. Then the emperors believed that they were the gods themselves and so they demanded worship and so when Christianity rose, it needed to rise with power. It needed to show a demonstration of power.
I tell you that’s what we need toady with every horrible demonic belief teaching, repackaged by modern man and pushed down our throats with legislation to back them and if you don’t agree, you don’t believe; you are the one who is wrong. Church Gist. With the United Kingdom banning any chance of people being prayed for, if they want to move and say; hey, this section or orientation does not honour Jesus, I want to be free! You are in trouble as a Church to pray for them because the country is looking to banned that kind of prayer.
They call it some funny names. It’s new season, it’s a scary season on earth in case you don’t know. Then there is the level of terror and hatred for Christianity is unbelievable. The country with the oldest missionaries that anyone know is India. Church Gist. In 17 something, William Carey went with the gospel there and yet only 4% or there about in India is Christian and there are about 1.2 billion people there. Yet today, they go look for Christians and hack them and there will be nothing, no one can question.
What shall we say of the country of Nigeria, Chad Republic, Niger Republic, the axis of Boko Harem where as we speak, there are more Christians who died in Nigeria and the government does not talk about it, it does not make front page anymore, they just go to a village which is predominately Christian and then kill them and then they died while people say we actually saw a helicopter bringing equipment and supplying them and then they denied.
So we need a revival, we need the hand of God that will shake system, that will make these people to know that they have messed with Jehovah and they have messed with His children. I used to live beside a man many years ago when I was just newly married before we left Africa to go pastor in Europe. We lived beside a man who had a dog. Church Gist. His dog was pregnant and the dog has spills, six or seven baby spills and one day I think they took two or three of the pups to sell or give away, this mother dog went mad, she went crazy.
Same thing, anyone who touches the children of Jehovah, they are in trouble. I like to believe that the time has come for the power of God to be manifest in the Church of Jesus Christ. Our crusade to be dead raising, sick healing, miracle working crusade. Our church services to not be full of gossip and everybody talking things that are not necessary, arguing about things that does not edify; we need the hand of God, we need the move of God in the mighty name of Jesus.
I believe the time has come that the Church of Jesus Christ will move in a way that it has never move before and I pray that you will be one of those, you will see the hand and you will see that hand in your life for your healing, for your miracle, for your testimony. Church Gist. But beyond that you will be a carrier of the manifestation of that hand as you pray for the sick, as you minister to your colleagues at work, as you talk to them about Jesus and if they have needs, you speak into their lives.
- A new anointing, a fresh oil, a power beyond imagination to come upon the Church of Christ; Father we receive this.
- Lord we glorify You this morning, we magnify You. We thank you because Your hand is at work and we are open this morning for the things You will do. First of all, we praise You for the things we see that Your hands have done and are doing (Psalm 8:3)
- Father we magnify You. the work of Your hand is beautiful, the work of Your hand is awesome, the work of Your hand is great. The work of Your hand is marvelous. The work of Your hand is beyond imagination. The work of Your hand is glorious. The work of Your hand is glorifying. Be lifted up, be magnified, be celebrated.
We make great Your name from the rising of the sun to the going down of it, we say You the God who with Your fingers, You throw the planets and the stars into space. Take the glory, take the honour, take the adoration, take the praise this morning in the name of Jesus.
- The things you have written down and cried to God to make happen shall become the reality of your life in the name of Jesus. Church Gist.
- (Psalm 104:28) From this day God will satisfy your dream and your vision completely. You will exceed it. The biggest pain of your heart right now shall become a testimony in the name of Jesus.
- (Isaiah 34:17) God is going to play the dice on your behalf, He is going to throw the card on your behalf and He is going to make it turn in your favour. He is going to make it happen in your favour in Jesus.
