14th October 1944: The first Apostolic Faith Church in Africa is planted in Nigeria by Brothers Timothy Oshokoya, Lucas Obakoya and D. T. Robins in Mushin, Lagos State. The Apostolic Faith Church was established by Florence Crawford in 1907. 

14th October 2020: The Redeemed Christian Church of God shows her support to Nigerian youths in their peaceful EndSARS Protest to end Police Brutality. 

14th October 1735: John and Charles Wesley, founders of Methodism depart England for ministry in America. 

14th October 2004: The Diamond Jubilee (60th Anniversary) of the Apostolic Faith Work in Nigeria was celebrated at Anthony Tabernacle, Lagos.

14th October 2008: Victoria Osteen releases her first book titled “Love Your Life: Living Happy, Healthy, and Whole”. Victoria Osteen is the wife of Joel Osteen and Co-Lead Pastor of Lakewood Church, Houston Texas.
