3rd July, 2021: The Methodist Church of Nigeria under the leadership of Prelate Emeritus Samuel Chukwuemeka Kanu Uche reaffirms its age-long rejection of homos£xuality, denouncing the adoption of same-s£x marriage by Britain’s Methodists.

3rd July, 1897: David Brown passed on to glory. He had been prominent as a Christian author, educator, and Church Leader in Scotland. He is best known as the coauthor of the Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary on the Old and New Testaments, for which he had written the sections on the Gospels, Acts and the Epistle to the Romans.
