31st July 1952: Emmanuel Olatoro Odejobi is born. He is the 12th and current General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide.

31st July 1976: Godfrey Adeniyi Beecroft marries Gbemisola Beecroft (Née Soyemi). He is the Chairman of Church Gist Limited.

31st July: Gideon Odoma is born. He is the President of Fortress Ministries Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

31st July, 2022: Babcock University graduates 159 PhD students, the highest in the history of the University and 110 first class first degree students. A record which was later broken in 2023 and in the recently concluded convocation held on 28th July, 2024. The School was founded by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

31st July 1892: Herbert W. Armstrong is born. He was an American Evangelist and the Founder of Grace Communion International. He passed on to glory aged 94.

31st July 1959: First Pan-African Baptist Youth Conference holds at Baptist College, Iwo.
