8th February 2006: Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) is approved by the Federal Executive Council. She received her license of operations on 6th March 2006 and was opened to students for the 2006/2007 session on the 25th October 2006. The School is located at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State Nigeria.

8th February 1966: The Bible Society of Nigeria is established. This was achieved through the efforts of the late Dr. Francis Ezeogo Akanu Ibiam, the first indigenous Governor of the defunct Eastern Region after consulting with representatives of most Churches in Nigeria. The Bible Society was able to translate the Bible in 26 Nigerian Languages and the New Testament in 60 local languages and distributes over one million copies of the Bible annually.

8th February 2001: Rousas John Rushdoony passes on at the age of 84. He was a Presbyterian minister, theologian and author. He was known as the “Father of Christian Reconstruction” who had advocated strict implementation of biblical moral law in America.
