RCCG February Holy Communion Service with Pastor E. A. Adeboye.
Luke 24: 13-31
One of the advantages of flying high is that you are able to see beyond what you can see when you are on the ground.
My prayer for you tonight is that God will open your eyes. The Lord needs to open our eyes so that we can see challenges as opportunities.
Numbers 14:1-9
The challenges ahead of us are opportunities for greater heights.
I heard a story of two people who sell shoes, they travelled from Europe to a nation far away to go and survey the ground to see if they should sell shoes there. One saw that no one had a pair of shoes he sent a message back, he said don’t worry they don’t wear shoes here, the other said this is a great market, they have no shoes here, we can open the place. God open my eyes so l can see challenges as opportunities, giants as bread.
God open my eyes so l can see the needy as open doors to my destiny
Acts 8:5-8, Philip was promoted because he saw the needy as an open door to his destiny. Acts 21:8
I visited several towns l have never visited before during the last Let’s-Go-A-Fishing, people gave their lives to Christ. New ground, Lord open my eyes so l can see the needy as open doors.
Matthew 17:24-27
Lord open my eyes, show me the river inside which there is a fish that has my money in his mouth.
There is always somebody out there that if you catch him/her for Jesus Christ, all your needs are met. One of my converts is a fish that the Lord brought across my way, for years l had to beg him that l didn’t need anything. I know of people who married the people they converted. Go to the river and fish.
Acts 3:1-8
Father open my eyes let me see what will put an end to my stagnation.
2 Kings 2:9-15 Elisha asked for a double portion of Elijah’s anionting. The man of God said if you see me, you will get what you asked for. Lord open my eyes so that l will be able to move into over flowing power of God.
He opened their eyes at the breaking of the Bread in out text. As we break the Bread today, may the Almighty God open our eyes.
Since you know that the Holy Communion is not an ordinary meal, l appeal to you if you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, do so now. Only children of God can partake and when you take His body, He can open your eyes. If you want to give your life to Christ wherever you are now, bow your head and cry unto Him to have mercy on you and save your soul. Those who are already saved, pray for these new converts, ask God to have mercy on them.
As we partake in the Holy Communion tonight, we have only one prayer, that the Lord will have mercy on us and open our eyes. There are many blessings waiting for our eyes to open to see them. There are doors the Almighty God will open, our eyes needs to be open to see them. As we drink the Wine, we pray the same prayer.
- Lord have mercy on me and open my eyes.
- Lord have mercy on me and open my eyes physically, mentally, spiritually.
- If there is something special you want God to do for you in this month of February, go ahead and talk to God about it.
Thank you for the opportunity to dine with you, accept our thanks in Jesus name.
