Our WhatsApp line has been awash with requests to join the Church Gist WhatsApp Group.
It is important to note that this is unrealistic as WhatsApp groups take only 250 members at a time.
With over 600,000 members, we would have to create more than 2.4 million WhatsApp groups. This is simply not feasible!
For this reason, we decided to open 2 Telegram groups which can each contain 250,000 members making a total of 500,000 members to perform the same role as the WhatsApp group/groups would have played.
Both groups were however muted.
Recently however, Church Gist has decided to unmute one of the groups for the sake of participation of members, questions and ease of inquiries and then study responses for one month (February 13-March 12 2021) while the second group remains muted for those who prefer to retain and read messages at their own convenience.
