Founded in Umuahia, Abia State Nigeria by Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze, Streams of Joy International (SOJ) is a Pentecostal Church made up of various people from different ethnic groups and nationalities with over 5000 people gathered every Sunday morning to worship God in KM 4, Ikot Ekpene Road, Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria.
The Church started as a fellowship with just seven members. In 2008, SOJ functioned as a fellowship until 15th December 2013, when the Church was inaugurated after the completion of their present facility in KM 4, Ikot Ekpene Road, Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria.
The Church has a strong passion to serve God and Love one another, to saturate the environment and the World with the presence and power of God. They strongly believe in the power of God’s Word in changing lives through the manifestation of the Supernatural.
SOJ usually holds five services every Sunday, though it isn’t doing so presently as a result of the lockdown. They have various ministries in the Church such as Real Men; A platform for married men in the Church, Pillar of Grace; For the Women in the Ministry, Singles’ Fellowship; For youth of marital age, The Trail Blazers; for teenagers and Mighty Arrows; for little children.
The founder of the Church Jerry Uchechukwu Eze (PJ) is a husband, a father, a life coach and a leader who has taken the Word of God as the Light to his path and through the Word has been opportuned to be on various platforms around the World. He is the author of the Streams of Joy Daily Devotional that has made its way to over five continents. The Church holds various life-changing programs yearly such as Run Conference amongst others. The Church also has branches in and outside Nigeria.
The Church is on a journey to becoming an international lighthouse, having a multi-ethnic membership and cutting across all nations of the world with the message of Christ.
