Praise the Lord!
This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Welcome to morning glow, welcome to another time in the presence of the Lord. Welcome to a fresh day and a new day. What a privilege to see a day that God made. We did not get into today because we are the smartest, the greatest but because of His preservation and His covenant of long life with us. He said with long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.
Heavenly Father we give glory, praise, honour and adoration to Your name. We thank You. You are a good God, awesome God, powerful God, great God. Our deliverer, our salvation, our joy, our peace, our healer. We thank You because You have kept us all through the night, You’ve kept us all through the seasons and we are able to see a new day.
Bless us this morning, let the heavens open upon us. As we pray the hand of the Lord in this season let Your people truly see Your hand of blessing, Your hand of favour, Your supernatural hand of deliverance, Your supernatural hand of salvation. Let us be able to give glory and praise to Your name. We bless You Lord in Jesus name.

If you are just joining us we began to pray the hand of God for a couple of days now. The hand of God is mighty; the hand of God is awesome. Church Gist. Let me give you six great things the hand of the Lord does:
- The hand of the Lord is mighty.
- The hand of the Lord is dangerous and deadly against His enemies.
- The hand of the Lord empowers His servants.
- The hand of the Lord can be heavy to discipline His own people; whom the Lord loves, He discipline.
- The hand of the Lord will help His people.
- The hand of the Lord will always be with His people.
So this morning as we pray the hand of the Lord, it is not just going to be a prayer, it is a prophetic word. God’s hand will be stretched in your life in this season to stop every attack of Satan and to open fresh doors, new doors, awesome doors, great doors, mighty doors, doors that honour the Lord in the name of Jesus.
The hand of the Lord is mighty, the hand of the Lord is great, the hand of the Lord is beautiful. The Bible says in the book of Acts 11:21 that the hand of the Lord was with them and a great number believed and turned to the Lord. I pray that the hand of the Lord will be with You for awesome results.
You’ve got to know what the apostles were working against in their time. The world was prevalent in idolatry, bigger than our time. Today you know of Christianity in places, you know that even if people do not really serve the Lord, there is a knowledge of Christianity. Church Gist. There was none then, it was all new but the hand of the Lord work mightily with them. I pray with you too that the hand of the Lord will move mighty, mighty, mighty in your life in the name of Jesus.
The hand of the Lord in the King James Version appears 39 times with 36 of it in the old testament and 3 of it in the new testament. Church Gist. And then the hand of God is found 16 times; 7 times in the old testament and 9 times in the new testament and this shows us what He does.
There was a man when they were writing chronicles of people who were his family, they just wrote; this beget this, that beget that. But the man prayed a dangerous prayer, his name was Jabez. He prayed that God will change his circumstance and the hand of the Lord was on him.
‘Now Jabez was more honourable than his brothers, 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 and his mother called his name Jabaz, saying because I bore him in pain and Jabez called upon the God of Israel saying oh that You will bless me indeed and enlarge my territory, that Your hand will be with me and that You will keep me from evil that I may not cause pain, so God granted him what he requested.’
…and that Your hand will be upon me. When the hand of God is upon a man, who are you? What is the devil, what is the sickness, what is the need, what is the challenge, what is the battle, what is the situation that will not turnaround? Church Gist. Somebody this morning, glory to God, the hand of the Lord is going to go ahead of you; open doors, silence hell, shut the mouth of devils, work mightily in your life, do awesome things, crush the enemy for you in the name of Jesus.
So remember we say that number 1, the hand of the Lord is a mighty hand. God made this very clear when Joshua was leading the children of Israel. Church Gist. When He stretched His hand and the river dried.
- Lord in this season we thank You. Your sons and daughters on this platform are visibly, evidently going to see Your hand at work in the name of Jesus.
- (Joshua 4:20-24) Lord we rejoice because Your hand will be mighty right now for somebody as they go out to work this day, Your hand will be mighty to bring results, solutions, answers, favours, breakthroughs in the name of Jesus.
The hand of the Lord is mighty. The book of Job stresses that God’s hand was mighty enough for creation. In Job 12:7-10, this man who suffered a lot, he saw the hand of the Lord. The Bible says in verse 7; “ask now the beast and they shall teach thee. The fowls of the air, they shall tell thee. Speak to the earth, it shall teach thee. The fishes of the sea shall declare it. Who know not all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?In whose hand is the soul of every living thing and the breath of all mankind. The hand of the Lord had done this.” Whether men acknowledge this or not, it does not bothered God. The hand of the Lord had done this!
Proverbs 21:1 is beautiful, it is beautiful. If you don’t remember every Scripture on the hand of the Lord, don’t forget Proverbs 21:1. So when you are praying, when you are calling on God and you meet stubborn people, stubborn bosses, stubborn situation, men who have forgotten that except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. Church Gist. They forgot that the position they are sitting on, there is a hand that is bigger than them. Remember Proverbs 21:1, the king’s hand is in the hand of the Lord.
Call on them, that man at that place who refused you what God had already promised, the hand of the Lord will make it happen. The people who taught they will hinder you, block you, make it impossible, the hand of the Lord will make your testimony manifest.
So the hand of the Lord is a sure sign of His might. The phrase is found in the New Testament also like I told you, 9 times, the hand of the Lord. 1 Peter 5:6-7. So this morning, listen to me, the hand of the Lord will be stretched for you. The hand of the Lord will do awesome things. The hand of the Lord will silence Satan.
This hand also is mighty and deadly against the enemy. You know some people don’t know the danger of picking on a child of God. Exodus 9:1-4, Pharaoh does not know that he was a kidnapper, kidnapping God’s children. Church Gist. The hand of the Lord came against an empire and they knew Jehovah reigns. Get ready! This morning when we come an onslaught against everything that have fought against your peace; get ready for peace.
When we come in an onslaught against everything that has stolen your joy; get ready for victory. When we come in an onslaught against everything that has fought against your destiny; get ready for a move of God, a stretching of His hand, a proving of Himself.
PRAYER BULLETS:
- Father in the name of Jesus, we come before You this morning. We give glory, praise, honour and adoration to You. we celebrate Your faithfulness as we come before you in this season of praying, in this season of declaring, in this season of speaking the Word.
- We thank You because somebody is going to be walking in victory. They will be walking in testimony, this morning is going to be an awesome morning in their lives and Your hand will be stretched. Church Gist. As they go to apply for that business; Your hand will be stretched. As they applied for that job; Your hand will be stretched. As they expand their business; Your hand will be stretched.
- As those young people begin to take those exams to enter the university, to get the scholarships; Your hand will be stretched. For that family who have nothing else to depend on but You, they have no one else they look up to but You; You hand will be stretched in Jesus name.
- (Psalm 18:8) Everyone on this platform I send you out, you will see the hand of the Lord, it will be at your side. Because of the hand of the Lord, you will not be moved, you will not bow, you will not be shaken. The enemy be lost! They will lose ground, the will lose their battle, victory will be assured in your life in the name of Jesus.
- I pray right now and reclaim what belongs to you. We go into the realm of the spirit and take back what belongs to you in the name of Jesus.
- I release you this day and this week into a season of breakthroughs that come by the hand of God in the name of Jesus.
- (Isaiah 43:13) An irreversible testimony, an irreversible miracle, an irreversible favour; receive in the name of Jesus. Church Gist. The work that the Lord will do in this season of your life, no man can reverse it and anyone in a tight corner right now, I pray your deliverance. You are coming out of that tight place, out of that pressure; you are coming into the fullness of favour, the fullness of your calling in the name of Jesus.
- Permanent breakthrough, permanent testimony that is irreversible; we release ministering angels right now, irreversible breakthrough, irreversible testimony, receive in the name of Jesus.
- I speak into your life this morning that the hand of the Lord will bring change and transformation, total transformation. Wherever you are this morning and you desire complete makeover of your life, it is the hand of the Lord that will do it. It is the hand of the Lord that will make it. Total transformation, complete makeover of your life; it is the hand of the Lord that will make it!
- (Isaiah 45:1-3) This morning I speak into your life these blessings that are in this passage, step by step as the Lord lives:
- God is upholding you, His hand is holding your hand and you will not fail in the name of Jesus.
David said but my hand was made strong by the hand of the Almighty, because the hand of the Lord is upon you this day, I declare and decree into your life that you will subdue nations. Church Gist. The hand of the Lord will subdue nations before you and lose the armors of kings in the name of Jesus.
- Because the hand of the Lord is upon you this day, single doors will not open for you, tiny doors will not open for you but double doors, strange major doors that when you see them open, you are in shock; receive in the name of Jesus.
- May the Lord give you those things that are hidden from man, put it in your hands, He will put it in your mouth, He will make them your reality, He will make them your testimony and He will make this favour flow to you in the name of Jesus.
- From this morning as the Lord lives, gates of favour, gates of testimony, gates of products will not be shut before you in Jesus name. Church Gist. Gates of finance, gates of prosperity, I command them to open for you in the name of Jesus. Go and prosper! Go and breakthrough! Gates will open for you in the mighty name of Jesus!
