Make this day powerful day, beautiful day, restful day for those who are on holiday for the worker’s day. Restful day for all Your people and also a day of the opening of a new week for favour, testimony, grace and breakthrough. We bless You Lord in Jesus name.
Hallelujah!

We welcome everyone who is on the platform this morning. We celebrate you and we trust the Lord to bless you. I am praying that this morning’s morning glow will really, really be very refreshing and will renew your faith because this morning we are prophesying the Faithfulness of God into your life and no matter what you go through or see, God is faithful. Church Gist. It is impossible for God to lie. Why would He lie? Who will He lie to? If He says I am coming, He is not going to do He is going.
Praise the Lord.

The faithfulness of God… We serve a faithful God. We serve a God who never, never lie. His words cannot fail. This month of May is the month of the faithfulness of God and may God show His faithfulness to you in the name of Jesus.

  • May you feel and experience the faithfulness of God and be impacted by the faithfulness of God in Jesus name.

God is faithful because:

  1. He is trustworthy in His nature. It is just His nature that He is trustworthy, He can’t do different from that. It is my nature to be hungry, it is my nature to be thirsty. Just as human nature makes us to want to sleep when it is sleep time, to want to eat when it is time for food; that is how it is the nature of God. Church Gist. It is just the nature of God to be faithful. You need to know that. Do not never let it go out of your mind; note this that it is the nature of God to be faithful.

1 John 1:9
God’s faithfulness makes Him to want to forgive. He is so faithful that He cannot change from that. While He does not tolerate unrighteousness and sin, yet when His people come in sincerity, He is faithful and just to forgive. Praise God.

  1. We see the faithfulness of God in Psalm 71:22 – the Psalmist made us to see that God is faithful to His promises, not just to forgive but faithful to His promises. When God says a thing, His words stand. Church Gist. Because you see, my word is only as good as my promise or as good as my ability to keep the promise. If I say I am going to bless a person and I kept my word, then my word is good. If because of circumstances it delayed and I kept my word 80%, that’s the level of my faithfulness. But God, He has nothing that can hindered Him. His faithful to keep His promise.

When God says I will do it, He is faithful to His promises.

  1. God is faithful to show Himself as powerful God in your life. Psalm 89:8. God is faithful to give you a bigger glimpse of His power, a bigger glimpse of His ability; that is how faithful He is. The Bible says in Psalm 89:8 (TGT) – “Lord God almighty, none is as mighty as You. In all things You are faithful oh Lord.”

So the faithfulness of God is shown in the fact that He cannot lie and He is mighty. You know a person can want to keep a promise but circumstances changed, something happen in the world. Church Gist. It was president George Bush senior, He said there will be no more taxes, then I think suddenly Iraq or Iran invaded and there has to be a desert storm, a war and America to get involved and the whole thing turned around. But you see, it now cost America so much and he had to reversed his statement by bringing up more taxes.

  1. God is faithful to answer prayers. When we call upon Him, when we speak to God in prayer; it may just look like nothing is happening but something is happening in the spirit realm. Church Gist. You know, somebody asked for something, say for example one of my grandchildren ask me and say; for my birthday, I want ABCD or for Christmas I want EFGH, and he just see that I just talking with them, playing with them and in their little mind they are wondering, is this old man doing something and they didn’t know I have already made contact. I’ve checked where the thing is, I’ve already made the order, it’s going to be delivered and I am going to surprise them with it.

They did not see body language to suggest anything is happening but then, something happen suddenly. So many of you this morning, get ready for a sudden invasion of your life with the blessing of God. A sudden invasion on your life with the hand of God, sudden invasion of your life with the breakthrough of God.

Psalm 143:1
Our desire to talk to God in supplication or petition rest on the fact that our God answers prayers.
…hear my prayer oh Lord, listen to my plea, answer me because you are faithful and righteous. That is what prayer rest on. We know that the God whom we are talking to, He is never, never going to lie. He will make it happen and He will show Himself powerfully.

  1. God is faithful because He is totally trustworthy. Don’t forget this truth; one of the lies Satan will blow into your head is that God is not faithful. Cast out, shut the mouth of hell, shut the mouth of the devil. Always tell yourself that God is too faithful, God is too faithful, He cannot lie. Church Gist. When we are not faithful, He is still faithful. God is faithful, so that statement from hell is not true.

1 Corinthians 1:9. God is faithful, reliable and trustworthy even when you did not seem to see the answer and you are feeling like I am waiting for so long, the time has expired, why does God allow things to expire? You don’t see the bigger picture, you don’t see the mightier picture, God see bigger, bigger, bigger than you see.

He knows that if He does somethings now, it may be too early. Let me tell you, there are some doors you have wished for to open now but when they open you wish you could shut it back and wait for the right time.

  1. God is faithful to make His blessings rest on those who trust in Him. Psalm 16:11 – this word reminds us of the benefits of His faithfulness. Church Gist. Relationship and companionship with the Lord. We have a relationship and companionship with the Lord, so He keeps His promise to us. He is never going to lie.
  2. God keeps His faithfulness to His people, to His children. So somebody come and says; you told me your God can heal and He has not healed me. Have you given your life to Him? You want to come and eat the bread of the kingdom but you don’t want to surrender to the kingdom. You still prefer your pantheistic approach to the worship of God. Pantheism is to see God in everything, this table is god, this iPad is god, this phone is a god. That was the original approach of the Greeks and the Romans before Christianity began that’s why everything was a god. Everywhere they turn, the sun was a god, so they have the worship day on Sunday. They worship the moon on Monday, everything is god and that is pantheistic. But God is faithful to those through Jesus Christ know Him.

Psalm 119:90
This is a beautiful promise to those who know Him and their children and their grandchildren and their great grandchildren. You know there are people who are prosperous today and they did not know that the root of their prosperity lies in the fact that God kept His word which He has spoken to their fathers. His faithfulness extends to every generation. The God who cannot lie, the God whose word is good. The God who when He speaks, He stands by what He says. His faithfulness extends to every generation.

Heavenly Father this morning we bless You, we magnify You. We thank You for Your faithfulness, we can see it in every area of our lives. What a mighty God! What an awesome God who speaks and keeps His word. What a God who cannot lie. Your word says in Numbers 23:19 that it is impossible for You to lie because if You called this white face towel black, the colour will change. That’s how powerful You are. You are so faithful that You have put Yourself in a place that You cannot change (Malachi 3:6).

Thank You. You haven’t change in Your attitude to us. People change towards us; people change because they don’t like us anymore, people change out of jealousy, people change for different reasons but You have not changed towards us. We bless You, we glorify You, we lift You up. We testify of Your faithfulness. We celebrate Your goodness.

We thank You, You are faithful in healing, You are faithful in deliverance, You are faithful in saving. You are faithful in breaking the power of the enemy. You are faithful in shutting the mouth of the devils. Thank You Lord. Be glorified.

Unchangeable God. Immoveable God. The God who does not revised His words. The God who keeps what He says. The God whose word has been proven in our lives in several ways. We bless You. We thank You this morning, we praise You Lord in Jesus name.
Amen.
