Founded by Joyce Meyer, Joyce Meyer Ministries worldwide have different arms with various functions channeled towards propelling the Gospel of God. The ministry was first called ‘Life in the Word’ in 1985 after Joyce Meyer resigned from being Associate Pastor of ‘Life Christian Centre’, a church in St. Louis, Missouri. Joyce Meyer runs a Television and Radio program called ‘Enjoying Everyday Life’. Her Magazine which has transformed the lives of many is also called ‘Enjoying Everyday Life’. More than 500,000 copies of each issue of the Enjoying Everyday Life magazine are distributed to homes around the world.
In her book ‘Battlefield of the Mind’ and in a recent interview, Joyce Meyer states how God told her that she was going to have “a large teaching tape ministry”. According to her, her husband Dave had gone to work and she was at home laying the bed and listening to a tape recording of a pastor preaching from a verse in the Book of Mark on the topic ‘Crossing Over to the Other Side’. Joyce was stunned by how someone could preach for over an hour from just one verse, pouring out refreshing perspectives. At that moment, God began speaking to her about the ministry He was going to birth through her. It started from a Bible study in her home to few local stations and by 2003, Joyce’s ministry grew by leaps and bounds and soon she was teaching citywide, statewide, countrywide and now worldwide through Joyce Meyer Ministries. She teaches on hundreds of subjects based on her experience and how she applies the Bible to every facet of her life.
The program ‘Enjoying Everyday Life’ is broadcasted in more than 85 different languages on over 1,000 Television and Radio stations with massive audio and video streaming via the website and podcasts each day. The ministry has a global presence with her headquarters in Fenton, Missouri, 9 international offices, 25 field offices, 464 employees at the U.S. headquarters, 168 additional employees at international offices.
The official website of the ministry, www.joycemeyer.org averages more than 5 million visits from 1.5 million individuals each month. Attaining global reach, the ministry also has nine fully developed international websites in Arabic, Dutch, Farsi, French, German, Polish, Portuguese, and Russian; as well a site in English for India. She also operates a multilingual broadcast site, tv.joycemeyer.org.

Joyce Meyer holds annual conferences, an outstanding one being the Love Life Women’s Conference, acknowledged as one of the largest conferences hosted in the U.S. In compliance with the social distancing rule as a result of COVID-19, the Love Life Women’s conference has been cancelled for this year although Joyce Meyer has organized a virtual event, an interactive session called ‘Love Life Girls’ Night In with Joyce’ scheduled to happen on the 11th of September 2020.
Joyce has authored over one hundred non-fiction books and a handful of fiction books. Joyce does not consider herself a televangelist or an evangelist. She considers herself a Bible teacher.
Through the teachings and calling God has given to Joyce as well as through the support of friends and partners, Joyce Meyer Ministries has been able to share God’s love and the life-changing message of the Bible with the world through TV, radio, the web, various media productions, live conferences and missions outreaches around the world.
Recently, Joyce Meyer celebrated forty years in ministry. In the Interview, Joyce Meyer and her loving husband Dave peregrinate down the path of ministry, the fun moments, how they began and where God has brought them to.
