Father, there are people here that the world and the enemies have concluded on, that based on their past, their mistakes, their innuendos that they can’t move forward, but thank you for the blood of Jesus, thank you for the grace for new beginnings, thank you for giving to us what we don’t deserve. We give you the praise Lord. Let your word come with precision, with accuracy, let it flow unhindered, we come against every centrifugal and centripetal force and we silence the enemy. Holy Spirit, glorify Jesus in this room, let there be healings, stretch forth your hands to transform lives in Jesus precious name.
Deuteronomy 28:13 This is powerful. The Lord shall make you the head and not the tail and because of that you shall be above only. Above sometimes? No. I shall be above only. How are you doing, I’m above only. No matter what is happening to you, what is going on? I’m above only. ‘Only’ that’s the keyword – only.
Everything has a head and tail, when we board the same flight and we are going to the same destination and we greet each other at the security and we walk into the plane. Where I am at the tail, they don’t ask me what I will eat, they dump it. They give you the menu at the head side, you can choose whenever you want to eat.
The first thing I found out is that it doesn’t matter if you didn’t go to school, it doesn’t matter the place you came from if you have something that nobody can teach you; it can’t be taught, it is called LOYALTY.
- Loyalty: It is the first way that God can bring you from the back and put you in the front, because it is rare. In Psalm 7: 1, the Psalmist said there is no faithful person on the surface of the earth anymore. No faithful friend, no faithful spouse, no faithful son, no faithful daughter. If you want to be rare, if you want to stand out, inculcate and develop faithfulness. That somebody can turn their back and you don’t turn, what you say when you were in front of them, when they turn their back, you are like that. There is no rich man on earth who will not want to die to have someone like this. If you want to be rare, be faithful, be loyal.
There is a lady in the Bible called Ruth. Ruth had a rootless root. She was born of incest and her entire country was cursed by God, God said they must not approach him for 10 generations.
Everything went down for her; she had an abominable root. And I tell you the truth, she clinged to a lady called Naomi. Do you know that there is no book of Elijah, there is no book of Elisha, with all their miracles, but there is a book of Ruth? God wants us to see these things. God had to enshrine an entire book for a Moabitess that was cursed because He wanted to show you that He is a God that can lift you, take you from the tail, and make you the head.
They got to a junction, Orpah said bye-bye and went back into bondage and she crossed and followed Naomi. God made Ruth marry the richest guy in town. They were the ones that gave birth to Obed, to Jesse, to David till it came to Jesus. Go and tell those who only talk about ancestral curse that God is a turner. Jesus is called Messiah because He is the one that can take your mess and take it higher. - There are some associations you must not be part of because of where you are coming from: When I gave my life to Jesus Christ, I say this with every integrity in Christ, I did not lose friends, I lost 2000, I was a gangster. I was the leader, I was popular. You must cut the first skin, you must be circumcised, for you to stand. If you don’t leave Abuja, you can’t be in Lagos. Church Gist.You must choose one.
Do you know that God approves associations and God disapproves associations?

Choose your relationships wisely. - Don’t let your background put your back on the ground: Look at Esther, an orphan. She was on the ground, bottom of the bottom. She grew up in lack, her esteem was battered. She maintained being a virgin, for herself. God may have planned a way of escape for you and you will mess it up for yourself. They planned a beauty pageant, not for ladies but for virgins. One of the ways that people never get mentored is their background. When Esther got to the beauty pageant, there was a eunuch. It was the eunuch who knew everything about the king that told Esther what to do. Her start point was already a disadvantage for her but Esther made sure she was mentored.
- Kingdom Advancement: I told you about a particular individual in our church. Our projectors were not working and we wanted to host Myles Munroe. So, I went to him and said, “Please do something about our projectors”, He said “You told me you would make me an H.O.D”. I said “Yes”. He then said “Once, I’m H.O.D, I will know what to do”. So, he knew what to do but because he wasn’t H.O.D, he didn’t do it. You may not have anything but you have something in your life that can advance the gospel. To lift, you must be determined. - Don’t pick up bad habits: Don’t be on the ground and be embracing the habits of those in the sky. It is good to embrace the future but don’t forget where you are on the timetable because some things can destroy you from getting to the air.
