I want you to open your hearts and stir up your faith in the Lord because this statement of ‘A New Beginning’ is not an ordinary statement. I want us to sing a song of ‘Thank you Lord’ for even considering us for a new beginning. Tonight is the end of the convention, if you miss anything tonight, which I pray you will not miss, you might not have it again.
In Exodus 13:14, Papa Moses told the children of Israel, ‘Look the Egyptians you see today, you will not see them again, forevermore’. I don’t know the Egyptians which is the old things that are not profitable for your life, those things that have kept you in bondage for all these years. Pharaoh who pursued them drowned in the red sea. So, lift up your voices and just say thank you Lord for even considering me for a new thing.
- Let us begin to magnify this God who said we shall not see all the old things in our lives again. He said He would do a new thing.
In Acts 10, the Bible tells us that there was a man called Cornelius, God visited his family, a new beginning started for him. The gentiles were not supposed to be visited by any godly man yet he was visited and his whole household was blessed.
- Today, I want you to use that man as a point of contact for your family, that God, visit my family tonight. Just say Father, in this my new beginning, in my family, visit us tonight. Let that new thing begin to spring forth in my family, let there be peace, let be joy, those who have not be saved, let your salvation visit them, let your healing visit the sick in my life, let there be unity in my home, let the Kingdom of God come down into my family. Lord, come and take your place in my family tonight.
Finally, I want you to pray that none of your family members will go to hell. Pray for even those who have already derailed, that God Himself would bring them back like the prodigal son and God Himself will make a mark on every member of your family to make heaven.
