Heather Lindsey is a minister yielded to the calling of God upon her life. She is the founder of Pinky Promise, an organization that promotes abstinence in singleness and projects the standard of God concerning marriage. She is married to Cornelius Lindsey and they are blessed with three children, Taylor, Logan and Roman. Together, Heather and Cornelius run an Evangelistic ministry called ‘The Gathering Oasis’.
Heather has authored Christian books with titles like ; The Pressure Trap, The Purpose Room, The Runaway Bride, Pink Lips and Empty hearts, Silent Seasons, amongst others.
Heather uses her YouTube Page to minister uplifting sermons to many. She is passionate about her family and loves to do ministry with her husband, Cornelius, hence their podcast ‘Life with the Lindseys’ where they discuss topics across marriage, purpose and entrepreneurship.
As with every great person with a unique path, Heather has faced her share of tough seasons which she deploys as a tool of encouragement to people. In an Instagram post, she said “My hardest seasons birthed my best ideas” and in her recent post, heather stressed on acknowledging and owning our seasons
“At times, we miss out on enjoying the season that we’re in because we are so focused on the next one. Somehow in our heads, I believe we think it will be better and easier if we had ‘this or that’. The reality is that each season will carry tests, trials and harvest. So, DECIDE today to own this season! Be content today, trust God, don’t waiver in your faith and keep going”.
Yearly, Heather organizes the Pinky Promise Conference. The idea behind Pinky Promise is to raise women who honour God with their life and body. Pinky Promise is inspired by her past life of ungodly sexual relationships and her resolve to follow Christ.
When Heather decided to honour God with her body, she took a firm stand that she would not kiss whoever would be her husband before marriage and so it was when she met Cornelius. Today Heather helps other women value themselves.
