SOME PEOPLE WILL SAY WITCHES AND WIZARDS ARE WOUNDING PEOPLE, SOME MINISTRIES HAVE EVEN SPECIALIZED IN THAT, LET ME NOT GO THERE SO THEY DON’T SAY I AM CRITICIZING THEM.

PUT PRAISE ON UNTIL IT FITS, SOMETHINGS DON’T FIT UNTIL YOU PUT THEM ON. SO, WHEN THE BIBLE SAYS PUT ON THE GARMENT OF PRAISE IN PLACE OF THE SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS, THE SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS FITS MANY PEOPLE AT ONCE,

IF YOU HAVE STAYED LONG IN HEAVINESS, YOU WON’T BE COMFORTABLE WEARING PRAISE,

TWO THINGS ARE STRONG ABOUT COZA THAT WE NEED TO LET THE WORLD KNOW, COZA IS A HOUSE OF PRAISE AND A HOUSE OF PRAYER

THE ANOINTING IS GREATER THAN THE ANNOYING THING

WE DON’T WORSHIP GOD FOR WHAT HE GIVES US, WE THANK HIM FOR THOSE BUT WORSHIP IS FOR WHO HE IS.

JESUS GOT HIS NAME BY CONQUEST; HE GOT HIS NAME BY CONFERMENT AND HE GOT HIS NAME BY RIGHT OF INHERITANCE. YOU GOT YOUR NAME BECAUSE THEY SAID WHAT SHALL WE NAME HIM O.

DON’T MOVE TO A CHURCH BECAUSE ONE IS NEAR YOU

The Next person you cannot help are people who will not listen, they’ve chosen a perspective, they’ve moved in a path of destruction and you’re the person they see as wrong. ChurchGist. The next person are those who don’t think they need help, they’re everywhere. Churches are usually full of three kinds of people, VIP, VNP and VDP. VIPs are the Very Important People, they know the vision of the pastor, they run with it, they are there to sow for the vision of the Church, they are the VIP, very important to the dream, to the calling, to the destiny of the church. ChurchGist. VNPs are the Very Needy People, oh I need you; I need you, oh you don’t have time for us anymore. The third category are the VDPs they are either Very Destructive People or Very Draining People, they drain the pastors, drain the worker, drain everything then they walk out.

Many years ago, when I was a teenager, I observed something in the part of Osun State. ChurchGist. There is this mad man we used to call him Wande, he stopped in front of a woman that sells orange, he spoke to her in Ijesa language, telling her that I am hungry, she gave him the 1st orange he finished it and then the 2nd orange, 3rd orange until she gave him the 8th orange, after she gave him the 8th orange and he finished it, he said it is not even sweet. ChurchGist. Very Draining People, oh you think only Wande behaves that way, there are many whom this house has blessed who have behaved that way and my mother used to say only a bastard throw stones into his father’s house, there are people from whom you should withdraw yourself from.

Next among those you cannot help are those who you know they need help but they don’t want it, like the man by the pool of Bethesda, he needed help but he is behaving as though he doesn’t want it, Jesus asked him: Will thou be made whole, he answered I have no man.

The next kind of people you can’t help are people who are not ready for help, they are not, they are just going around and wounding other people. ChurchGist. Next, these are people who don’t want it from you, they want it from somebody else but not from you. They run around everywhere else but not you, they don’t want your help. The next kind of people you cannot help are people who are not willing to do what it takes for change to be. ChurchGist. Jesus told Peter to go and do what he knows best to get money for the expenses. Peter obeyed Jesus, sometimes you can’t help them, they come to a Church like this, they come to 12 Days of Glory and they still remain the same, that will not be your portion, change is coming to your house, from you we will not withdraw the blessing, the blessing will rest on you, somebody say I receive it. So you find some people, they come to the Church of Jesus Christ, they affirm that they are born again but you don’t see the proof, they still carry their dirt of rejection and one of the ways to know a person who is self-rejecting is that they reject others and they attack others, when you see people who are chartered critics check their beginning, they were raised in criticism, that is the way they were raised, tonight I didn’t come to tell you much about these kind of people, forget them and drive on.

• 2022 is going to be an awesome year
• For COZA it is going to be an awesome year
• It will be a year of taking territories
• A year of buying properties, receiving businesses
• While others are complaining you will be having testimonies.
• I just saw a revelation, there is someone in this house, God will wipe your tears in a massive way.
• He will fill your mouth with testimony.
• Fill your life with glory
• The pain of yesterday will become your stepping stone, it will not stop you.
• Everything they threw at you; you will step on it.
• Every name they called you; you will step on it.
• Every arrow they shot at you; you will step on it.
• You will climb to new levels, new dimensions.
• They are waiting to hear your downfall; they will hear of your uprising.
• They will hear of your lifting; they will hear that you’ve opened a new branch.
• A new open door
• A new connection.
• A new favour.
• A new testimony.
• A new turnaround.
• Every week of this year there will be milestones of favour, milestones of Glory, shout amen three times.

2 Samuel 12:18, David had done what he could do as a human being, he fasted and he prayed, he knew about purpose and time. If God is shutting a door in his sovereignty, then there must be something he wants to do. ChurchGist. So, take your eyes off that which you are regretting, after which you have prayed and fasted, instead of you saying the way they talked to us about this God, why is this happening? Purpose may be bigger than what you see now. I left this Country 44 years ago to do a Degree in the same college where I did their diploma in Nigeria, but I turned back after 12 Days to come back, because the Foursquare Church arranged for my visa to Los Angeles and I landed in Chicago and so immigration said sir, withdraw your application and go back or else if you say you want to pursue your application we will refuse you and you won’t be able to enter America for the next 10 years I said “Kilode ke” meaning what is happening.

This was 44 years ago, so I withdrew the application, I was so angry at God, seriously angry at God, as a young man and as a young pastor, we are talking about 1978, I was 26 years old then. ChurchGist. They had done send forth for me where I was the Assistant Pastor, I had given away all my property, 12 Days after when I was on my way coming back home, so in the plane from Chicago to Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, I was so angry at God and at the same time I was witnessing to the woman by my side, telling her you need to receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and inside me I was like God don’t talk to me at all, don’t talk to me and I faced the woman telling her: this Jesus he will save you, he will wash you away from your sin. ChurchGist. I don’t know whom that encourages, you’ve been through that fire, it’s all about Purpose and time, now I go to America and I don’t even like America, don’t tell them I said so, when I am preaching in any Church, I land the day I am to preach.

If I am preaching anywhere, New York anywhere even if it is 11 hours, London to Los Angeles is 9 to 10 hours, I will land and will preach then I will go and sleep, immediately I finish preaching I will pack my bag, but that time I couldn’t see it. ChurchGist. If I had stayed there will be no KICC (Kingsway International Christian Center), time and purpose.

David asked is the Child dead? The servant said the Child is dead, I know the feeling ma, I know the felling, I came back to my room as a young pastor, I opened the room I saw an empty room and I have to show up in church on Sunday. ChurchGist. The same place where they did send forth for me. Time and purpose. Forget it, drive on because something bigger is ahead.

And David arose, I came to speak to some people tonight there is a rising, COZA there is a rising, there is a rising in this house, this Church will rise, this ministry will rise, somebody scream we will rise, there is a rising.

• I prophesy to your life today you will rise.
• Every bag that as slowed you down, you are dropping them, you are forgetting them and driving on into greatness from tonight in the name of Jesus.
• You will rise to your destiny.
• You will rise to your purpose.
• You are getting out of negativity.
• You’re getting out of frustration.

somebody scream I am rising. You are getting into bigger things, bigger than those who hate you, be bigger than those who hate you, be bigger than those who say things about you, be bigger than their attitudes, somebody scream I am rising. ChurchGist. I declare upon your life today you will tower above the issues; you will leave the unnecessary behind, you will leave the unnecessary behind. Give God praise.

The second thing David did according to 2nd Samuel 12:20 (King James Version), “and he washed”, from today every lie, every attack that the enemy has thrown at you, God will wash it away, you will leave the past in the past, you will leave the people of the past, somebody say I am washing. ChurchGist. Look at me, I don’t know where you came from but I came from a family that has a way of looking down, they didn’t know what to do when suddenly God lifted me, in fact the town from where I come from, my family is the least of the least of the least, so when they ask one Ashimolowo has risen from the town and they say it is from so and so compound, it is not the most prominent compound. ChurchGist. Can anything good come out of there? They don’t know that I have washed.

• Tonight, by the washing of the blood you are washing away limitations
• You’re washing away challenges.
• You’re washing away troubles.
• You’re washing away the pains
• You’re washing away the past, forget yesterday’s history, do something about tomorrow.
• Wash yesterday away.
• Enter a new season.
• I divorce you from yesterday.
• I move you away from the past.
• Your new season will not be ruined.
• I say your past will not be seen.
• Your future will shine, the issue of the past you will forget them.
• You will drive on.
• You will forget them.
• You will drive on.
• You will no longer look at your yesterday.
• I declare today you will no longer look at your yesterday.
• He will fix your purpose, in the name of Jesus.
  Put your hands together and give God praise.

Look at me, there is a washing of your mind that you need to allow the blood to do. ChurchGist. That makes you to have this confidence in God, if God said it, it belongs to me I am his child, I can access what belongs to my father, I am washed by his blood I am his child, nothing will limit me anymore, I am going into everything that belongs to me. David arose, they tried to lift him, he said leave me alone. Once he said that, he left the past in the past he rose up, every weight that has weighed you down you will leave it here tonight, we wash you with the blood, don’t let anything hold you anymore, we wash you. ChurchGist. Some people will say witches and wizards are wounding people, some ministries have even specialized in that, let me not go there so they don’t say I am criticizing them.

If God be for us, for I am persuaded that neither heights nor depth nor angels nor principalities, are witches and Wizard not principalities? The Word of God says they cannot separate us. ChurchGist. If they are still working in your life, we hinder them from today, we break them from your life, somebody say I will rise, I will wash, wash clean in the name of Jesus, no condemnation. Look at me, people who have risen and have washed they must walk differently, not arrogantly but confidently.

I entered a plane one time from Baltimore USA to California, there is this guy who was sitting beside me, an Arab man we were in Business class, the Arab guy looked at me and said are you a Diplomat, are you an Ambassador, I said yes, I represent the greatest kingdom, I said why did you ask? He said the way you carried yourself. I have risen and i have washed, somebody say I have risen and i have washed, I am no longer condemned in the name of Jesus. Give God praise and bless his name.

David knows the secret, he rose, he washed and then he grabbed the anointing oil and he anointed himself. ChurchGist. Put something new on yourself today, brighten your countenance, let them not catch you showing that their attitudes are stopping your altitude, anoint yourself, put praise on until it fits, somethings don’t fit until you put them on. ChurchGist. So, when the Bible says put on the garment of praise in place of the Spirit of heaviness, the Spirit of heaviness fits many people at once, if you have stayed long in heaviness, you won’t be comfortable wearing praise, until you force yourself and say heaviness, you’re not my cloth anymore.

When you’re used to poverty, wealth shocks you, poverty is like some Nigeria cars, if you want to borrow the car, they must give you some education: as you’re about driving this car, don’t wind down o, if you wind down the window won’t go up again, in Nigeria we function in abnormality, so when you are used to poverty, you know how to fetch water with a pail, you know how to use all kinds of funny toilets, let me not go there. ChurchGist. So, the first day you enter something different it amazes you, you’ll go like is this also a toilet? In fact you may have to ask how do you flush in this kind of toilet, because in some advance toilets now you cannot easily see where to flush, some of them it takes your face to flush. ChurchGist. The other day somebody came to my house and I was showing him around, we have this mirror in my bathroom, it is a smart mirror, you put your finger and the light comes on and it asks you do you want to watch video or go on the internet, the person shouted inside the bathroom.

Anoint yourself, when you tell your story let people not believe, when you tell them that I was born in a military hospital in Zaria, I grew up in 44 Barracks, Benin street, Ogbomosho Street, Jos Road, Kaduna and they answer in unbelief saying you. ChurchGist. I remember just showing up in Jos Road in 2003, in one Bishop Bakare assembly so I showed up in Jos Road, Kaduna, to see the old house where we grew, when we showed up some guys were selling spare parts there, they were asking me Pastor Matthew what are you doing here, I answered them that I grew up in this house, they said it is a lie. You see because I have washed, I have risen up and I have anointed myself.

• You will rise, you will rise.
• God has washed you; he has anointed you; you will not go down.
• I break the Spirit of heaviness; I release the Spirit of Thanksgiving.
• I release the Spirit of Gladness.
• You’re anointed for Joy.
• You’re anointed for ideas.
• By reasons of the anointing new ideas, power ideas, winning ideas, breakthrough ideas are coming into your life, shout amen three times. Give God the praise common.

He rose, he washed, he anointed and then he changed his cloth. ChurchGist. Prepare for your coming favour, dress for your coming favour, prepare now, get ready COZA, I didn’t know God was resisting my own foolish small idea by shutting that America journey, I was going there to study something which has now been faded out in church, Christian Education, someone that handles Sunday school, that is what I was going for, to go and finish the degree and then do masters, can you see me opening Sunday school anywhere, do I look like a Sunday school opener. ChurchGist. The purpose was bigger than time, you people have made me to be preaching tomorrow’s message now. He rose! He washed! He anointed! And he changed his cloth.

• God is dressing somebody for something great I can see your destination, I can see your coming breakthrough, get ready because you’re already dressed for it.
• You will walk into the blessing.
• You will receive the favour.
• You will enter your destined place, your stuff is already prepared, you will reach the place, you will get to the place.
• Get ready for the things your eyes have not seen yet.
• Get ready to enter it, somebody say I will get there.

Next thing he did the Bible says he went to the house of God, I can stay here all day long but I will just make it short, because this is the worshiping house. ChurchGist. Two things are strong about COZA that we need to let the world know, this is a house of praise and a house of prayer, people don’t know the intensity of the worship in this house and the prayer in this house, thank you Jesus and that is why you will find the devil trying to fight. ChurchGist. But the anointing is greater than the annoying thing,

Somebody say with me: ascend to his presence – Psalm 16:11, Psalm 97:5, everything begins and ends with his presence, Genesis 1:1, begins in his presence, last chapter of Revelation ends in his presence. ChurchGist. Our ultimate purpose in life is to worship him, it is to know him and to worship to him, to praise him, to make his name great, that is the ultimate, the greatest purpose of man. All animals look down including the apes, they may stand on their legs but eventually they must look down. ChurchGist. you were created to look up to him, because God said: Lift up your eyes and see, to see with perception the thing God has prepared we don’t look down, when Peter looked at the storm he went down, David went to the house he lifted his eyes and began to ascend in the presence of the lord.

The sixth thing he did was that he worshipped, the Bible says and he worshipped. ChurchGist. Worship is the food we give to God, Psalm 95:2, Every time you’re in the house of God you must remember who he is, we don’t worship God for what he gives us, we thank him for those but worship is for who he is. His name reveals who he is, he is alpha, he is omega, he is the beginning, he is the end, no words can contain him, he is too big, he is bigger than the biggest, he is greater than the greatest.

• B for Bread of life
• C for Christ
• D for Deliverer
• E for Elshadai
• F for Father
• G for God
• H for the High and Lifted one
• I for I am that I am, I am the door, I am the way, I am the life
• J for Jesus
• K for King of all kings
• L for Lord of all lords
• M for Maker
• N for the New and living way
• O for Omega
• P for the Powerful one
• Q for Quest of life
• R for the River of life
  Your way of forgetting it and driving unto greatness is to learn to worship him. ChurchGist. I don’t care what they did to me, I will magnify the name of the Lord, I will praise him at all time.
• S for Saviour.
• T for the Truth of life.
• U for the Unity of the Body of Christ.
• V for the Vine
• W he is the Way, he is the Water of life
• X he is the X before the mass

So, when the enemy brings back yesterday, you just forget it, drive on to greatness, magnify the Lord, exalt his name. ChurchGist. His name is powerful, his name is Adonai, every name of God carries something it is not an appellation, it is not for identity. Jesus got his name by conquest; he got his name by conferment and he got his name by right of inheritance. You got your name because they said what shall we name him o. Praise God, so when you don’t know what to do forget it, drive on.

The seventh thing he did was that he went home, tell your neighbour go home, not now in the service, go home, don’t be held down, stay in the house of God, don’t be dressed up in the wrong place. ChurchGist. Don’t move to a church because one is near you, you have a connection in your Spirit to the house, stay home don’t stay in the lobby, stay in the home, don’t stay where everybody says, stay home, you may not see it but you’re already dresses, you will be blessed, stop feeling sorry, stop feeling unworthy, this is your father’s house and he is about to do something new in your life.

The mad man of Gadara who lost his mind, the first thing Jesus told him was for him to go home and he told him to preach, but the first thing he said was go home. ChurchGist. If all the men in Nigeria return back home our home will be strong, our children will be fantastic, our nation will change, so let all the men say go home. Now, this is your home in the realm of the Spirit, don’t let anybody shake you, don’t let anybody move you, if an usher asks you to sit in a place and you don’t like the place, politely ask, if they force you sit there but for you to say I am leaving the Church, their ushers are rude, do you know where you are, your home, should anybody chase you out of your house.

One of the funniest stories I ever read was a bull dog that strolled into the house of a man that has two Australian dogs, Australian dogs are very big dog, but a bull dog is a fighter, short and it is looking for fight all the time, bull dogs are like area boys in Lagos, the bull dog entered their house and began to fight them, the fight was too much, they broke his leg he went home, he came back the next day and fought them again, the fight was very strong they tore some part of his body. ChurchGist. He went home he came back the third day, when he came back the third day, the two dogs left the house for him, but in actual sense that is how you should fight for your house like that bull dog, someone scream this is my house. Give God praise.

The last thing he did, they set the table before him and he ate, you need to feast for your change, I can see a big change coming, it is coming tell your neighbor change is coming and it won’t be long, hold on my brother, hold on my sister, change is coming and it won’t be long. ChurchGist. He went to the house of God and came back to his house and threw a feast, don’t forget a child just died. Forget it because a new change is coming. I sense something big is coming to COZA, in many major cities of this nation there will be COZA everywhere.

So, you need to feast for your change, you need to laugh, you need to take a break, you need to have a celebration gathering, you need to give yourself a shout, you need to go to town and spoil yourself, you need to be kind to yourself, do your nails, do your hairs, celebrate your happy times, stop mourning about 2021, start celebrating 2022. Stop crying about the past, start rejoicing about the future, bury the child, bury the issue, bury your yesterday, enjoy the Future, bury what did not work, celebrate what is working, embrace your greatness, celebrate a new season, common put your hands together and give God the biggest praise tonight.
