PURPOSE IS THE MAIN THING IN THE HEART OF GOD AND TIME IS THE MEDIUM FOR ACHIEVING PURPOSE.
YOUR STORY IS NOT A MISTAKE, IT IS PART OF YOUR JOURNEY. IF I DIDN’T GO THROUGH THE THINGS I WENT THROUGH, I WON’T BE ABLE TO PREACH THE WAY I PREACH

Isaiah 46:9-11 (NKJV)
I have already told you what my title is if you were here yesterday: Jehovah on Time. There was no concept of time before Genesis. God has always been without a beginning, even though Genesis 1:1 says “in the beginning….”. Really the word ‘beginning’ there has to do with you and I and the universe. That is why you can’t quite measure God by time. Which time will God use to measure Himself because all the planets have different times of going round the axis of the sun. That is why He is bigger than time. God was before creation and He never needed time. He gave time to man in order to regulate where you live, God cannot be bound by it. Church Gist. He does not need to check time in order to do what he wants to do for you. He lives in eternity. He created time for you so that you had a beginning and you go through a process. God is all the same, all the time. He oversees time yet He is never late. What we are saying is that He is Jehovah on time. God is like Hollywood, in order to make a good film they will first make the end of the film and come back to begin the beginning. One thing is clear: no matter what happens in the middle, your end has already been fixed. God does not fix a bad end. There may be a battle in the middle, but all things will work together for your good.
In the eyes of man, we feel sometimes God is late. Take the case of Jesus and Lazarus. Jesus was invited to the house of Lazarus. He sent an SOS message to Jesus, Jesus said I am coming and he kept on teaching and talking to people. Where Jesus was to where Lazarus was, wasn’t too many hours. Church Gist. By the time He got there Lazarus was dead, Martha said Lord you are late, if you had come earlier my brother would not have died. God’s time is better than any other time. John 11:32. In the sight of man He was late but God had a plan to bring glory to His name out of the death of Lazarus to show His power of resurrection.
- I pray for you in that area where it seems God is late, God will give the most awesome testimony.
It’s not a good time to share my personal testimonies. Pastor has already said it because this one is a big big one. If the thieves who tried to steal my lands had not come, I would have sold the land nine years ago. When I was praying, even though I will preach like a lion, I will shed tears and ask God why this battle is going on. My S.A.N. the fee alone was 100 million and my legal fee was 150 million. This thing no be beans oh. Church Gist. When the victory came, I now saw that Lekki of nine years ago is not Lekki of 2022. If I had sold it nine years ago, it wouldn’t have been the same as it is now. So when it looks like this thing is taking too long God, I can’t give you the full testimony but that should tell you where I am going. God is never too late. There is a purpose to your life, there is a destiny to you, late in the midnight hour God is going to turn it around in your favour.
When God is ready to turn things around, strange things begin to happen. One of our biggest turnarounds was a witness who is a hundred years old. In Law there are five fingers to win land matters in Nigeria. One of these is a strong historical capacity with a witness that old. They already got him to the other side and made him sign a lie lie witness story. This man conscience come worry am, made him change his story. Church Gist. When we make wrong turns, His GPS does not shut down. He brings us back to where we are supposed to be, there is an original intention. There is an originality, there is a reason for why, where and how you were born. You are beautiful for your situation. Your story is not a mistake, it is part of your journey. If I didn’t go through the things I went through, I won’t be able to preach the way I preach. Purpose overtook time in the life of Abraham. The man was desperate for a child. Despair and desperation may be signs of distrust in Jehovah. God can’t you see I am going without a child? Abraham was already 75 the day God called him. He is on time because He is in a class of His own. Time was introduced to uphold the law of seed, time and harvest in our lives, that’s why God introduced time. Church Gist. Purpose is bigger than time. Time is to achieve the purpose of God for your life. Psalm 91:9-12. Purpose is the main thing in the heart of God and time is the medium for achieving purpose. God can suspend time to make purpose stand. Joshua 10:12. God held up time to fulfill the purpose which is to defeat that nation. God stopped the rotation of the earth, this planet rotates at the speed of over 32,000 miles per second. The thing is speeding and the whole of the universe stood still. Purpose overolled the work of the sun, the moon and the planets because a people have been called of God. Time had to be held up because purpose was priority.
- I speak into your life: It looks like time is going but your purpose will stand. Your purpose will manifest, it will not be overdue by a single day.
God can give promotion faster than time. The guy was 17 years and they sold him into slavery, he didn’t know it was training. They sold him into the house of Potiphar to learn how to manage businesses and large economies, to learn the protocol of the aristocratic. After that they threw him in jail to manage impossible people and when the training was completed. Church Gist. 13 years later and he was now 30 years old. 30 is the number of launching. Jesus started at 30, David fully reigned over Israel at 30. Joseph came out of prison and within 24 hours the same day purpose caught up with time. When your purpose comes, it overtakes time.
- There are people here what your father could not achieve in a lifetime you will achieve in your purpose. You will excel.
Once Joseph met the mark of faithfulness, he rose to the top. Nobody becomes what Joseph became in Egypt in that short time, you have to rise through the ranks. God just bypassed all that into his purpose to save humanity. You are not here as a waste of time, there is a purpose. One day, Miss Potiphar had to bow the knee.
- The next six months, the speed of your movement will be greater than you can imagine. Your destiny will manifest.
The intensity of your battles is as a result of the purpose you are carrying. Satan wants to frustrate purpose.
- There is no surprise with God.
God’s system is so organized that it can take care of every emergency. There is nothing like “due to circumstances beyond our control”. There is nothing like “we did not see it coming”. This is not God. God does not engaged in afterthoughts. Your problem is not special or overwhelming to God. You need to reach where challenges do not disturb you anymore because purpose will overtake time. Church Gist. Romans 8:28-30. You were predestined to achieve your purpose. Only me can frustrate my purpose, not even Satan. There is no surprise with God because He already preloaded you. You are going somewhere. You are like a guided missile. Ghana delivers medicines now from Accra to about a thousand kilometers using drones. If Ghana can do it, how about Jehovah? No surprise with God.
- Your testimony will be good.
- There is no delay with God.
We went to Owerri for a burial, came back to Asaba to catch my airline back to Lagos. Flight for 4pm, we did not leave until 6:25pm, story for the gods. They just apologized for two minutes. Church Gist. No delay with God, God is big on purpose but men are big on time. If there is a delay, it was not God who caused it. Habakkuk 2:3. Your calling, your vision, your dream is for an appointed time. When the time comes, no one can stop it. - There is no regret in God.
Regret and self pity has made many lose identity. Regret conditions people for failure. Don’t let problems define you. FIDO – FORGET IT, DRIVE ON to greatness. If God could solve your problem when you had no relationship with Him how much more now. Lamentations 3:22. You will not regret now that you know God. - There is no limit in God.
Greeks worship gods who specialize in one thing. Yorubas too. If anything surprises a Yoruba man e go worship am. Small pox came to Africa and they worshiped the god of small pox because they couldn’t understand it. Thank God for Jesus, this Coro for don become god oh. Church Gist. The God who has no limit and is immeasurable, He is the master of situations forever. His mercies are forever. Everything God does is forever. Mark 10:27.
- That thing for which you have put a limit on God, begins to receive answers.
If there is no limit with God, it is time to engage the supernatural.
- There is no want in God
Want is the absence of something desirable or requisite. Want is the absence of something you need. Psalm 34:9-10. Even in difficult times, no want in God. A bishop died in Nigeria and I became the foster father for his children. He is those kind of people that preach in the clouds and don’t know how to hustle for their family. All the years he lived in London, he stayed in a rented apartment. Church Gist. So I guided his wife on how to buy a property. So after some time she missed the mortgage and they came to lock the house. She called me and I was in Nigeria on my way to my where we are building a university. How I was able to raise 8,000 pounds so they could open up was a miracle. There are things you do and social media does not carry it. Them dey wait make Pastor do bad thing so they can talk. Dem go wait tire. The woman ran to the prophet Elijah, they were coming to take her sons so they could serve the people her husband owed and the man of God said “what do you have in your house”. There is no want in God. He needs a seed, God cannot work with zero because zero multiplied by googolplex is zero.
- This morning, I speak into your life that the God who showed up for this woman will show up for you.
- There will be no want. Your wants will be met. Jehovah will be on time.
- There is no fear in Jehovah.
In the bible there are two kinds of fears – bad fear (phobia) and good fear. Good fear is reverence. I remember one time President Obasanjo called me on the phone in London. Who is this? He said Olusegun Obasanjo. Church Gist. I nearly dobale like I was in his presence. There is good fear for people you honour and regard. There is no bad fear in Jehovah. 1 John 4:18. Bad fear involves torment. Fear is the tool of the enemy used to distract covenant people. Jehovah will always be on time, I have tried Him for fifty years. Somewhere between February and March 1972 I gave my life to Christ.
- Jehovah will be on time for you. On time for your family, on time to give you a testimony.
- This year, 2022 victory will be your portion. God will defend you against every attacker.
- Angelic security will be around you. Warrior angels will surround you.
- Everyone who is an attacker attacking your life, the Lord will silence them.
- Every dark manifestation on the earth shall not touch your house.
- Your business will not crash. You are connected to the greatest economy, you will not want, you will not lack.
- Your destiny will rise. The struggle is over in your life. You will not labour without results.
- We silence every battle. That thing that pulls people backwards shall not be your portion. Grace to grass will not be your story.
- Helpers will rise for you. The project you started you shall complete. You will finish the vision you initiated.
- The work of Calvary that has been finished shall manifest in your life.
- By the mantle of Jesus on my life, God will show you mercy. God will show you compassion.
- Everything that makes life beautiful and colourful shall become your testimony.
