THE PROBLEM TODAY IS THAT MANY ARE NOT GIVING GOD THEIR LIVES AS A SEED.
WHEN A MAN GIVES THE SEED OF HIS LIFE UNTO GOD, HE ENDS UP BEING GLORIFIED ON THE EARTH

Our Father this morning we have come to give glory to your name for all you have done, accept our Thanksgiving. For all of the answers to prayer we say thank you. This morning our eyes are on you asking that you speak to us, let your word transform our lives in Jesus name we have prayed. Amen.
Our line of exhortation has been DEDICATION: A COVENANT PLATFORM FOR THE RISE OF GIANTS. God’s word makes it clear that the end time Church is ordained to be a glorious Church. Zechariah 2:5. The end time Church is ordained to be a glory filled Church, this means that the end time saint is ordained for a glorious adventure on the earth. Isaiah 60:1-3. The manifestation of this glory will be in the emergence of men and women, old and young, out of obscurity into the limelight. Isaiah 58:10. That is the program of God for the end time. That means that God will be raising men, raising women, raising the old, raising the young out of obscurity, Isaiah 60:15. Church Gist. That means in this end time there will be the rise of giants out of obscurity. Isaiah 60:22. There will be individuals that will carry the influence of nations. That is God’s programme for the end time Church. No wonder we are told that Jesus is coming for a glorious Church, a church loaded with men of influence, men and women who are giants in their area of endeavour.
We discover with God that for every product there is a process, the process that brings about the product of this glorification is dedication. Until you submit for this process of dedication, you are not a candidate for the product of glorification. Jesus speaking in John 12:3-26 put it this way that the hour of glorification has come, but the process is “except a corn of wheat falls to the ground and dies it abideth alone”. Church Gist. The process is dedication. Until it is dedicated to the earth, it cannot be glorified in the air. It will take a seed going into the ground for a tree to rise into the air. In the same vein, it will take dedication for any believer to experience glorification.
What is Dedication?
- Dedication can simply be defined as a deadly commitment to a particular course.
- Dedication is essentially making your life a seed for the execution of God’s agenda.
Proverbs 23:26
God’s servant has called this in the past, “the mystery of the greatest seed”. There is no seed you can give that can be compared to the seed of your life. When a man gives the seed of his life unto God, He ends up being glorified on the earth. Psalm 126:6. One seed, many sheaves. What is that seed? The seed of your life. The problem today is that many are not giving God their lives as a seed. Church Gist. They want to divide it into many portions and scatter it in many directions and hope that it produces something. You and I both know that the moment you take a seed and cut it with a blade, no matter where you plant it nothing will grow. In the same vein for anyone’s glorification to emerge, your life as a whole must be made a seed planted in God.
- Dedication is essentially coming to a point where your will is crucified for his way.
Luke 22:42
It is where convenience is eradicated for commandment. You are not in pursuit of what is convenient to you, you are in pursuit of what is commanded to you. The commandment is not taken grudgingly but delightfully. Psalm 112:1. That is a picture of dedication.
Let us look at the example of Paul the Apostle. He was a man whose dedication exemplified all of these definitions. A man of deadly commitment, a man who made his life a seed unto God, a man who sacrificed his will unto God. He was a man that did it with joy.
Philippians 1:21 (deadly commitment), 1 Corinthians 9:16, he was a man that sacrificed convenience for commandments. Galatians 2:20, 1 Corinthians 15:31. You are talking about a man of unusual dedication. Philippians 3:10. Dedication, deadly commitment, giving his life as a seed unto God, what was the effect? One that should have ended up a vagabond became a price piece on the earth. Church Gist. Acts 19:14-15. He was a man whose impact was not just tangible on earth, but also tangible in hell. The devil knew who Paul was on the basis of his impact. Can you imagine a man who is not only feared in heaven but also feared in hell. Ephesians 3:1-3. Paul was a man who became a custodian of heaven’s secrets to the point that two thirds of the New Testament were written via him. You cannot preach the gospel today without a reference to Paul. Dedication catapulted him to the top.
2 Peter 3:15-16.
He was a man whose impact and influence we continue to feel upon the earth and will be felt till eternity. Church Gist. The influence of a planted tree you cannot tell now, there are trees that were planted one thousand years ago that are still standing today. The influence of a planted tree you can never tell. If your life becomes a seed and is planted in God, the glory that will come can never be imagined.
- The grace to sacrifice convenience for commandment, may that grace be granted to each one of us.
- The grace for a life planted as a seed unto God and His Kingdom.
God’s servant has said all through this week, you make the choice and God grants the grace.
Prayers – if you have truly made that choice, lift up your hands and ask for grace. Lord you gave Paul grace, give me the same grace. You gave him grace to crucify his will for your will, give me the same grace. You gave him grace to plant his life as a seed in your kingdom, give me the same grace. Lift up your voice and pray from the depth of your heart.
