GREAT JOY PRODUCES GREAT STRENGTH. IT GIVES YOU THE ABILITY TO DO GREAT THINGS
JOY UNSPEAKABLE PRODUCES STRENGTH UNSPEAKABLE. IT GIVES YOU THE ABILITY TO DO THINGS UNSPEAKABLE. IT GIVES YOU THE STRENGTH TO PERFORM MIRACLES THAT ARE DIFFICULT TO TESTIFY ABOUT.
NO MATTER HOW GREAT YOUR JOY MAY BE, IT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH IF IT IS TEMPORARY.
THE LORD SAID “WHEN WE COMPARE WHERE YOU ARE NOW, TO WHERE I AM TAKING YOU. IT WILL BE AS IF YOU ARE IN THE WILDERNESS NOW”. YOUR DAYS IN THE WILDERNESS ARE OVER.

Alpha, Omega, the beginning and the ending, the One who is, the one who was and the one who is to come. Wonderful God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Ancient of days, the one who never grows old, glory to your name, Father glory be to your holy name. Almighty God, glory be to your holy name. Tonight, like never before, visit your children, baptize us with joy, do what you alone can do. At the end of it all, just take all the glory and give us the blessings in Jesus name we have prayed.
There is this young boy who is always giving funny answers to every question, his answers are always right but it is not the kind that the teacher will expect. For example, the teacher asked him who killed Goliath, “He said it is not me oh”. Is he right or wrong? So one day they asked him who is a chairman, his answer is the one who sits on a chair. So how many chairmen are here tonight? Since this is a gathering of chairmen that’s why I am sitting down. Let somebody should Hallelujah.
Tonight is a night of joy and my Daddy told me to tell you that for the next two hours, forget your position and become like a child because the miracles of tonight are for children. Children with faith like children, with praises like children, with trust like children, with the simplicity of children. Let me confess to you, I don’t know exactly all that God wants to do tonight but He kept on hammering it as I was praying, tell your people to forget who they are and become children just for two hours and the kind of miracles only children can get will be made available to them. Church Gist. If as you go along, if He asks you to do something childish, I beg you to do it. I don’t know the details, that’s why I am a child anyway, I just come to stand before you, I would have prepared my notes, then He keeps on interrupting me here and there and I enjoy it. I beg you please tonight, this night is too important to be missed: be like a child.
They told me that since we started the program 15 babies have been born in our maternity center – 9 boys and six girls. I have some good news for you:
All our members in Ukraine are safe. The Nigerian members have already left Ukraine, those who are natives from the report I got some hours ago are all safe and secure. You know I told you on January 1 that the issue of refugees and migration is going to take a new turn this year. At that time nobody knew that Russia would attack Ukraine, that it was the Europeans who would be running away from their homes. Whenever God says something please take it seriously which is why you should rejoice because he is going to say something tonight. I have said it before that some people don’t take me seriously when I say this is what God has said because I don’t shake and jerk when I say it but you know once He says it because testimonies will follow. Church Gist. I have some good news – in the prayer room I asked God for 8000 instant healings tonight, my Daddy said to me “son, what has happened to you, why is your faith so low?” He said “when you call out those who have been healed tonight, they will come like a river”. Get ready for your healing. There will be no shaking, there will be no jumping up and down but it’s already happening. He also told me that this month of March 2022, 8000 barren women will conceive. In addition, by December of this year, the barren that will have conceived as a result of this meeting would be 80,000.
I think it was 1951, the Bishop came visiting Ifewara and as a result of what happened that day, I told my mother that when I grow up, I am going to be a Bishop. Thirty years later, I became General Overseer. In 1985, I went to South Korea and I went to a mountain, a prayer mountain. People came from all over the world to pray there. I said to God “one day there will be a prayer mountain in Nigeria, where people will come from all over the world to pray”. Thirty years later, God opened Mount Carmel in Ifewara. Church Gist. Today, people come from all over the world to pray there because unbelievable miracles are happening there. Then about two weeks ago, God reminded me about something that happened about 40 years ago. I preached a sermon at Camp Young Ede, the title of the sermon was “the Fourth Dimension”. God reminded me of it all of a sudden, I had forgotten so I began to contact those who were there if they had the tape. They couldn’t find the tape. I had to go to my Father in heaven, you never forget, could you tell me what is special about that particular sermon. He said during that sermon you prophesied that a day will come and a lot of people will gather, you will come out from your prayer room and they will all have their special requests and you will just wave your hand and all their requests will be granted. Daddy said to me “tonight there will be a fulfillment”.
Nehemiah 8:10
Whenever any man is successful, people will try to find out what his secret is. By the way, one of the things Daddy wants me to tell you is that nobody will be able to explain your success. My children told us yesterday that joy is not the same thing as happiness. Happiness is what you get when something happens, but joy has relatives and one of the relatives is called gladness. Psalm 122:1. My children have told you that the joy we are talking about has nothing to do with wealth because riches don’t satisfy. Ecclesiastes 5:10, 1 Timothy 6:7. Church Gist. The joy we are talking about has nothing to do with greatness or popularity, Jeremiah 45:5 warns you not to seek great things for yourself, don’t seek popularity because it doesn’t last. This joy we are talking about is the joy of the Lord. As briefly as possible I just want to add to what all those great ones who have spoken before me have said, the categories of joy and the strength that they produce because joy produces strength. The joy of the Lord is your strength and strength is the ability to do work. Ability to do whatever you want to do.
So we start with regular joy, I don’t want to call it ordinary joy. You are supposed to have a dose of it every morning. Psalm 30:5. You need a dose of joy every morning because without that dose of joy you won’t have the strength to do normal things. If you have seen people who suffer real depression you find out that they just lie down helplessly. They don’t even want to go to the toilet. Church Gist. Thank God the Bishop had already dealt with that because, in the name that is above every other name, depression will become a stranger to you. When you get regular joy you have the ability to do regular things. You will be able to take your path, go to your place of work etc.
Joy produces strength and one of the ways of getting joy is through hearing good news. Psalm 51:8, Nehemiah 2:17-18, it is until the elders of Israel heard good news that their hands became strengthened to build the walls of Jerusalem. In the name that is above every other name, somebody is going to hear good news today. I gave a simple illustration of how good news can bring strength. I told a funny story of a brother we decided to call Brother Joe. He came back from work extremely tired, the mother greeted him and said you are welcome, your food is on the table. He said Mama no I am too tired to eat, I am going to bed straight away. Church Gist. As soon as he got inside, the girl Elizabeth by name that he was proposing to marry came in and greeted the mother and said “Mama I want to see Joe”. Mama said “Joe is too tired” while they were talking Joe heard the voice of Elizabeth, he jumped out of bed “Elizabeth you are here, why are you here?” Elizabeth said, “I have just come to see you”. Joe ran to Mama and said what can I use to entertain Elizabeth. Mama said there is rice if you can cook, He said “Ah! I will cook”. Mama said Joe I thought you said you are too tired even to eat, Joe said Mama you don’t understand.
Somebody will hear good news tonight.
Prayer 1 – Father speak to me tonight directly, let me hear good news tonight.
There is something better than regular joy and that is great joy, when you read Luke 2:8-16, the Bible was telling us the story of the birth of Jesus Christ the angel said I brought you good tidings of great joy. Psalm 21:1-8 tells us that great joy produces great strength. It gives you the ability to do great things. Regular joy can give you enough strength to walk, great joy will give you the ability to run and to fly. For example, in Acts 3:1-8, when the lame man by the Beautiful Gate got a spectacular miracle. He was able not only to walk, he was leaping, jumping and praising God. There is someone here by the time we finish, you are not going to walk out of here you will be jumping all over the place.
When you have this thing called great joy, you will be able to do anything your heart desires to do for God. I remember when we started here at this Camp. We were building the Camp because of the great joy we had, that at long last this is our own camp. We did things that several people will call impossible. We built a house from foundation to roofing to plastering to furnishing in seven days. I was supervising everything 24/7. Church Gist. There was no tiredness, there was something called great joy. As the Lord lives, somebody will experience great joy tonight.
Prayer 2: Father, give me great joy that will produce the ability to do whatever I want to do for you without any delay.
There is something that is better than great joy. It is called exceeding great joy. Matthew 2:1-10. The Bible spoke about the wise men who came to see Jesus Christ. When they got to where he was, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. Exceeding great joy gives you exceeding great strength. It gives you the ability to go far beyond the ordinary. For example, the first time I read Deuteronomy 28:1-13. I read the Almighty God made a promise that a man can get so blessed that he will be lending to nations and he will never borrow. Church Gist. That day I said amen with all my heart. I want to decree into the life of somebody, as the Lord lives a day is coming when you will go to the Head of State and say how much is my country owing, I want to pay it off. Is anybody here who is bold enough to say Amen to that. Today by the grace of God, the Redeemed Christian Church of God is in more than 190 nations of the world. Some people call Nigeria poor but from Nigeria missionaries are all over the world financed by Nigeria. We are lending to nations. I say it one more time, there is someone listening one more time that one day you will lend to nations.
Daddy said I should tell someone that anyone who complains when I begin to promote you will lose whatever he has. Exceeding great joy gives you the ability to do exceeding great things. Acts 5:14-16 spoke about great miracles wrought by the hand of the Apostles but it went further to say in the case of Peter his shadow began to heal the sick. I don’t know who this one is for but do you know that before the end of this month anyone who stumbles into you will get a miracle. He got handkerchiefs anointed here, took them home and mixed them with several handkerchiefs. Church Gist. He gave one to his daughter and said okay you are far away from where the sick fellow is, just put the handkerchief next to your phone and pray and the anointing traveled through the phone to heal somebody who the doctors said there is nothing more than we can do. I have good news for you – very soon with your own handkerchief you will raise the dead.
Prayers 3: Father please make me a channel of exceeding great joy. Make me the channel through which exceeding great joy will be flowing.
Daddy said I should tell someone that before the sun rises I will give you a taste of my Almightiness.
There is something greater than exceeding great joy, that is joy unspeakable. For us to fully understand joy unspeakable, joy is the opposite of sorrow, there is sorrow unspeakable. Job 3:11-13. I told you He may ask us to do some childish things. Will you kindly stand up and with all of your strength I want you to shout “LAZARUS COME FORTH!!”. Daddy asked me to tell you that because you shouted, every opportunity you have lost in life will begin to return from now on. I was talking about sorrow unspeakable. When you read Job 3:11-13, the Bible tells us that when the friends of Job came to visit him they sat down for seven days and seven nights unable to say a word. I decree in the name that is above every other name, sorrow will never come to your house again. Church Gist. Because there is sorrow unspeakable there is joy unspeakable. 1 Peter 1:3-8, talks about joy unspeakable. Joy unspeakable produces strength unspeakable. It gives you the ability to do things unspeakable. It gives you the strength to perform miracles that are difficult to testify about. Psalm 126:1 talks about what happened when God turned the captivity of Zion. He said we were like those dreaming. There are miracles that for a long time after you will still think you are dreaming. There are some testimonies that you are even afraid to share because they won’t believe you.
Daddy said there is someone listening to me, up till now your testimony is about what God has done for you, from now on your testimony will be what God has done through you. There are miracles that you find difficult to share the testimony. If Joshua was to tell some people how he told the sun to stand still for almost a day, I told the moon to stay where it was. Some of his friends will laugh at him. I have had experiences when I was younger in the Lord, when I shared the testimony my brothers would laugh at me. So as I grew up, I discovered that there are some testimonies you keep to yourself. Some of you will remember the story of a young man, his aunt died and he was working here in Lagos. They embalmed the aunty and before he could get permission to go home it was 11 days. He got home, took the woman’s little child and went into the room where the woman laid, took the handkerchief we anointed here and laid it on the corpse and the little child was crying “mama get up! Mama get up!”. Nothing happened, the boy wasn’t expecting anything to happen anyway. He just tried his faith. So very sadly he turned, as he got to the door he heard a sound behind him, he turned and Aunty was sitting up right. When he shared the testimony, a lot didn’t believe it but it was true. I have good news for someone that very soon you will have testimonies, you will be afraid to share.
Prayer 4: Father give me a testimony so big it will be difficult to share. Give me a miracle so big that it will be difficult to share.
Glory be to God! Daddy said in Exodus 4 when I asked Moses to throw down his rod and he did and it became a serpent and I asked him to pick the serpent up. When he bent down to touch the serpent his hand touched the floor. By the time he got up it was not Moses who bent down that got up. From the moment he touched the floor, he was never afraid of anybody again. From that moment onward, whatever he touched prospered. Church Gist. When he lifted that hand, the Amalekites were defeated, when he lifted that hand the Red Sea parted. Will you be childish enough to bend down and touch the floor and say “Lord my hand has come in touch with your holy ground, from now on anything I touch will surely prosper”. Have the faith of a child because by the end of this month, when you come for the next Holy Ghost Service, you will already be dancing for joy.
Daddy asked me to tell someone as long as there is water in the ocean, your anointing will not run dry. There is something greater than joy unspeakable and that is everlasting joy. No matter how great your joy may be, it is not good enough if it is temporary. In Job 20. Daddy said there is someone here you have always wondered what is a miracle like, He said I will give you one very soon. Daddy says there is someone listening to me, He said He will send you two destiny helpers. He said only two and they will be more than sufficient. In Job 20:4-5, The Bible says the triumph of the wicked is short and the joy of the hypocrite is for a moment. What is the use of joy if it doesn’t last? The Bible tells us it is possible for your joy to last forever. When a man goes on a journey, there are three possibilities: either he may never return from the journey like Goliath for example. Another possibility is to return with sorrow. Ruth 1:19-21, when Naomi said call me Marah there is nothing to rejoice about. But it is possible to go on a journey and return with everlasting joy.
I will tell you a little story to help you do what God wants you to do next. One of my daughters turned 50 and oh it was wonderful. After all the celebrations, she said to me Daddy if I had known that being fifty is going to be this sweet, I would have become fifty sooner. I said how will you do that? She said I will just go to the newspaper and tell them I made a mistake concerning my date of birth. I too do not know that being 80 will be so sweet. Seeing all the love that you have shown me, now I don’t want to become 80 earlier, I want to become 80 again. So maybe in about six months time you will see in some of the newspapers that I wasn’t born in 1942 but in 1943 so you can celebrate another 80. I told you that story because God asked me to tell you “laugh”. Daddy asked to tell someone who just laughed that for every day of sorrow you have known I will give you a month of laughter in replacement. Go ahead and laugh.
Isaiah 51:11
The Lord said when we compare where you are now, to where I am taking you. It will be as if you are in the wilderness now. He tells me to add, your days of wilderness are over.
Isaiah 51:11
Who are those who have everlasting joy? He said it clearly – the redeemed.
Prayer 5: Lord I am your child, I am redeemed let me be partaker of your everlasting joy.
I am going to stop there because we have other things God wants to do and I need to get out of His way so He can do some of them.
God asked me to tell someone in particular “The doctors will not be able to explain your healing”.
It’s time to pray, if someone were to tell you that everything you ask today will be answered, will you pray with all your strength?
- The Almighty God will grant your requests.
- You will hear Good news.
- Everything your heart desires to do for God, God will give you strength.
- You will be a channel of exceeding great joy.
- Miracles that are difficult to share, God will give to you.
- You will make it to heaven. You will end well, you will end strong, you won’t know sorrow again.
When I was younger I would get excited about the number of those who are healed but now at my age I know my Daddy, if He says you are healed He has healed and I saw the crowd that He said will dance forward. He said they will dance out like rivers. May your healing be permanent. Sickness won’t come near you again, from now on you too will be healing others.
