I miss your smile, your laughter, your yabbies, your counsel. I miss sharing funny videos with you and laughing together. It is well.
I celebrate you, your love and passion for God, your drive and dedication, your liberality, your prompt disciplining of the children, your mentoring of them, ah! So, you won’t be here to see them graduate, marry, have children, etc?! “Ewolingo!” as you would say.
Yes, I know you’ll see it all from over there but I thought we would partake of these together.
I know there’s no marriage in heaven o but please, tell Jesus to build my mansion next to yours. At the fullness of time, when I’ve finished my own race, we will meet again. We need to be neighbours over there. And you have many questions to answer too.
Every now and then, I catch myself blessing you and praying for you, only to remember you’re not here and I can’t be praying for you again.
I have asked the Lord, that your mansion and reward had better be very great. (Because you loved Him and served Him so.) And I believe it is because God is a faithful rewarder.
We will keep loving you. And celebrating you. (I nearly said, “God bless you”.)
