NOT ALL CHURCHES CAN BE PERSECUTED. NO ONE PERSECUTES A CHURCH THAT HAS NOBLES AND GOVERNORS.

Church Growth Conference, 2022 (Part 2)
Many of us by the grace of God have been given the cities, the towns we are but we are not building in wisdom for the future. Many groundbreakers are not wise builders. What makes the ground valuable is the building on it. What makes Canaanland valuable is the structures you see everywhere you turn around. Church Gist. Before 1999, fallow ground as a matter of fact it is said that it was a home of witches and nobody thought of coming here but today from all over the world, people come to worship on Sunday all the way from Europe. What gives value to the ground is the building and wisdom is the builder, so what gives colour to ministry is wisdom.
Proverbs 24:3-5
Knowledge and understanding are elements of wisdom. Through knowledge you acquire, through understanding, you analyze, through wisdom you apply. A great Church only emerges through engaging this wisdom.
The Holy Spirit is not only the spirit of power but the spirit of wisdom. He came as power in a mighty rushing wind to shake everywhere but He is also the Spirit of wisdom. I pray that in this Church Growth Conference, you will receive a dimension of wisdom that will move you forward.
Now you will discover that after Acts 5 the Church almost closed down. After mighty things took place, the murmuring came up in Chapter 6 verses 1 and 2. Reasoning brought out the Church from almost collapsing. The church was almost dividing but wisdom bound it together.
Acts 6:2-3
Through reasoning, they rose to the next level.
- I see ministries rising here.
- The story of what used to be in terms of gathering the multitudes will never be the experience of any of us.
A vital covenant access with the wisdom from above is meditation. Meditation simply means thinking through the word in finding your way forward. David was a man of wisdom that he accessed through meditation.
Psalm 119:97-100
If all you know is the word and you make it your thinking pattern, you are bound to rise. No ministry goes down that concentrates on reasoning in addition to praying. We also saw that Paul the Apostle who referred to himself as a wise master builder by the grace of God upon his life was Paul a man of power and Paul a man of wisdom. Diverse miracles took place in his life including handkerchiefs taken out of his body to cast out devils but he was a man of wisdom. Of all the Apostles, there is no Apostle’s work that is established till this generation like Paul. Church Gist. He planted Church networks because He understood that you can make an impact in a place but you cannot take over in one place. He planted Churches everywhere, within two years he took over the whole of Asia. Wisdom is about spiritual visionary networking that gives you the authority to take over. That is what we are doing, that is what the Church is doing. Paul was not only a man of power, he was a man endued with wisdom.
1 Corinthians 3:9&10
This is where every minister needs to grow into, let’s grow from being labourers to wise master builders. Many of us have laboured, have sweated. We need to translate the sweat into sweet by engaging wisdom. If God has chosen you to be the founder of a ministry, properly lay the foundation so that others who come after you build it.
Things wisdom will do to help you build your ministry
- Wisdom will help you to strategically take over towns and cities wherever you are.
Proverbs 21:22
No city is too hard for strategic inspired approach given by God. When wisdom and strength go to battle, strength always bows to it. Church Gist. There is no hard community for the Church to take over when wisdom is at work. Wisdom is knowing what to do and doing it. Wisdom is knowing where to go and going there. Wisdom is knowing what to preach and preaching it.
Ecclesiastes 9:15-16
No one said strength is not good but wisdom is better. We are not downplaying the place of power, power must continue to do its work but put the second leg of wisdom to stabilize and balance the effect of wisdom.
- Wisdom will help you plan the way forward.
Wisdom through planning will help you predict the future you can’t see. That is why wise people through planning can predict the future. Luke 14:28. Sit down and plan.
- Wisdom will help you to stabilize the ministry.
Isaiah 33:6.
I see some pastors pastor Churches of 500 people and the pressure is too much, having ten staff and the shaking is too much, the instability is obvious and yet you have a pastor having a workforce of 5000 people and nobody is making noise. Wisdom of administration and relationship. - Wisdom will reduce your noise and increase your news.
As we grow in ministry, noise should be giving way to news. Wisdom makes you a voice.
Ecclesiastes 9:18
Wisdom is better than all the energy put in place. - Wisdom will turn the Church into a place of end-time glory.
Jeremiah 30:19-21
There are ministries that have multitudes but they are small in the eyes of the public because they don’t have the substance required. They don’t have the representativeness required and that is what the world recognises. Nobles and governors will proceed out of the Church when the Church enters the realm of wisdom. Not all churches can be persecuted. Church Gist. When you get there you see the kind of vehicles outside, you say I don’t know the person that brought this vehicle if I go there and it is my oga. What will happen to me? Nobles, governors, raised from the dust. I have heard God’s servant say it is not the Church of the rich, it is the Church of the pay been turned rich.
This glory shall be attracted by wisdom. 1 Corinthians 2:7. Wisdom is the colour of the Church. We must engage in developing ourselves. We receive power in prayers but we receive skills acquisition and expertise by learning. We have heard God’s servant say that he had to sit down to learn about nine universities before founding Covenant University. They were not believers. We learn from everything, we learn from fools so we can know how not to be fools.
We need to engage this wisdom in Church Growth. It is only the wise that can win souls. Except when I am out of town, I go for outreach at least once every week. Sometimes upon my assignments, I get back home tired but I must still go out. Matthew 17:26. We say things like if I have the kind of Instruments Pastor Paul or Pastor David has, I will have souls everywhere. You don’t need money to do outreach, souls are everywhere. You and I can reach out to them. All of these call for wisdom, for strategic planning and inspiration of the Holy Ghost.
Prayers – if you lack wisdom, ask for it. Pray for lasting wisdom that will result in lasting ministry.
