AS YOU TAKE THE COMMUNION, MAY ALL THAT IS DEAD IN YOUR LIFE COME BACK TO LIFE.
I PITY THOSE WHO THINK THE HOLY COMMUNION IS AN ORDINARY MEAL. THE ELDERS HAVE A SAYING THAT IT IS WHAT THE BIRD HAS EATEN THAT IT USES TO FLY.
THE GREATEST WONDER OF ALL IS THAT THE GOD WHO SITS IN HEAVEN AND HIS FEET TOUCH THE EARTH CAN REDUCE HIMSELF INTO SUCH A SMALL SIZE AS TO FIT INTO A PERSON.

Almighty God, the Father of Fathers. We worship you, you are the greatest, you are the strongest, you are the wisest, you are the best, you are the richest, you are the highest, there is no one like you. Please accept our worship in Jesus name. As we gather today in preparation for the special Holy Ghost Service we pray that there will be signs and wonders in the lives of everyone in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
1 Corinthians 11:23-26
The Lord Jesus Christ lived, died, resurrected more than 2000 years ago. Till today, all over the world millions gather to celebrate His death and His resurrection. Just as we are gathering here, millions are gathering also all over the world. For what we call Holy Communion Service or Coming to the Lord’s Table. This is a sign to everyone that Jesus is alive. In Revelation 1:18, He made it clear that He is the one that lives, he was dead and behold he is alive forevermore. Church Gist. The Holy Communion Service is a sign that Jesus is alive. Not only is he alive, but He is also present with us. Matthew 18:20. Jesus is here right now whether you know it or not, he might be standing by you. How many of you believe that he is next to you right now? Why don’t you let Him hear you shout his name?
It is a sign to us that because he lives we shall live also. John 14:19, Romans 8:11. When we drink the wine we are symbolically taking in, the blood of Jesus, the life of Jesus, the Spirit of Jesus. And as that spirit which raised Jesus enters, it quickens your mortal bodies: bring your mortal bodies back to life. Whether you believe it or not, it is going to happen tonight.
Some of you know the story, you have heard the testimony before that a very important chief became paralyzed from waist downwards and they took him abroad because he was very rich. He was there for months, then one day the Lead Professor in that hospital took a very sharp pin, came to the Chief and drove the pin through his thigh, all the way through. He asked the Chief “can you feel anything?” the Chief said No! Nothing at all. He said to the Chief “there is nothing anybody can do for you, go home! Stop wasting your money here”. Church Gist. So they brought him home. It was one little girl who went to the Chief and said just like that maid to Namaan “Papa if only you can get to Redemption Camp and my Pastor prays for you, you will walk again”. So they brought the man. He was a hefty man, I think about 6 people brought him from the car into the living room and we read this passage to him. If you give your life to Jesus, then the Spirit that raised Jesus will quicken your mortal body. He surrendered his life to Jesus, we prayed a simple prayer and he walked back to his car.
- In the name that is above every other name, tonight as partake of this communion, the Spirit that raised Jesus will quicken your mortal bodies.
When you take the bread, which is symbolic of his body and you drink the wine which is symbolic of his blood, you are practically saying I am swallowing Christ. When a herbalist is sure of himself, he says “I have swallowed Ifa oracle”. We don’t swallow an oracle, we swallow Christ, when you do that, something wonderful happens – Colossians 1:27. When you swallow Christ, you have a glorious future.
- As you swallow the bread and drink the wine tonight, your future will be glorious.
The greatest wonder of all is that the One that the Heavens of Heavens cannot contain, can reduce Himself to such a small size that He can be dwelling in you. 1 John 4:4. That’s a wonder of wonders. The God who sits in the heavens and His legs touches the earth can reduce Himself to such a small size as to come into a person. That’s a wonder. Church Gist. He can reduce Himself into a small size and be inside every one of us. Acts 2:1-4. When the day of Pentecost was fully come, about 120 people gathered together in one accord and then there was a mighty rushing wind and tongues of fire rested on the head of every one person. Do you know that tonight, it is not only one person who is going to receive the sign and wonders of the Holy Communion? I know that as I eat the bread and drink the wine, the Holy Spirit is going to enter me afresh.
I have told you that in the days of my Father in the Lord, we held the Holy Communion Service only once a year, during the Convention. The Last Saturday of the Convention is for the Holy Communion. He will be preaching and I will be interpreting but I have learnt from experience that when we finally get to the taking of the Communion, particularly as I drink the wine, I can feel divine electricity going through my entire body. That I had to use great strength to control myself from throwing away the cup. Church Gist. So those days, once a year I look forward to the Holy Communion Service to recharge my spiritual battery. Thank God we do it once a month now at least so you can recharge your spiritual battery over and over again. I pity those who think this is an ordinary meal. The elders have a saying that it is what the bird has eaten that it uses to fly. Tonight you will fly again.
The Holy Communion is only for children of God, it’s not every Dick and Harry. Yes, it is ordinary bread, ordinary wine but the moment we bless and sanctify it, power that you can’t see enter. The Bible makes it clear that if you eat it unworthily, it might even kill you. Church Gist. It is like electricity, you touch it correctly it can give you power, if you touch it wrongly, it can kill you. That’s why before any Holy Communion is taken we cry to those of you who are not sure about your salvation to do so now.
When you eat the bread, your prayer should be that His stripes will not be in vain over you.
When you drink the wine, cry to the Almighty God, that the Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead will quicken your body and anything that is dead in your life, will come back to life.
