Father, thank you for another night again in your presence. Lord breathe on us afresh tonight, let this season be a most memorable one for everyone and take all the glory. Confirm your word of change of story in everyone’s lives in Jesus precious name. Amen.
Every change of story in a believer’s life is triggered by the word. The word of life is the story changer of men. No shortcut. Isaiah 9:8. God’s word is the story changer of the believer. Psalm 107:20. Deuteronomy 28:1, Isaiah 60:1,8. Church Gist. All by the light which is a product of the entrance of His word that gives light. Stop wishing, go for the word, engage with the word and then you have your established change of story that can’t be reverted by any devil. When the word is behind your change of story, it is settled forever because God’s word is settled in heaven forever. So when He settles any area of your life, it is settled forever. So be awake.
I was somewhere for an outreach with my team yesterday, “In Jesus name” nobody showed up. “Hallelujah” only one person drew near. Maybe we should go and come back another time, I said I am not leaving here, Jesus sent me here. To the glory of God, we got 71 souls saved there yesterday. My son who served with me was surprised but I am not surprised I am used to it. I didn’t come there to play, I came to reap the harvest of souls and you can’t move me out of there until I see them. When you call that name mixed with faith, they must bow. Let’s get ready because we are in for the best of harvests. Church Gist. Jesus wept over Jerusalem because they knew not the moment of their visitation. People just toil with major events passing them in life. Don’t be part of that, don’t. Grab this season as your own jackpot for a change of story, throw yourself massively into it. I was returning yesterday and my wife was going, that’s how we do it. But to sit down there and just wear a suit and tie, there are too many social members of a Church, very few spiritual members. Just saying “I have been a Winner now for 15 years”. That is not the way to win. In the name of Jesus, this season will make a difference in everyone’s life.
What comes out of this prophetic season for us is a function of what anyone chooses to make of it. What you choose to make of it is what will determine your outcome from it. Galatians 6:7-9. Victory in any battle is only for those who are set and out for a fight. You don’t watch a battle to win it, you fight it until you win. Put up a fight or you stand defeated. 1 Timothy 6:12. Church Gist. No one shall be defeated here. Matthew 11:12. Let’s put up a fight to be listed among the stars this season. One cannot take what is his by wishing, you must possess what is yours by fighting. Deuteronomy 2:24. There is nothing God has for you and me that is not contested by forces of darkness. We don’t wish to win, we must fight. A great door of opportunities has been opened to us this season but there are many adversaries, we cannot afford to watch them.
While the command to occupy till He comes stands, how faithfully and fruitfully we occupy will determine the outcome of individuals. He gave his ten servants one pound each and in the same season, somebody made ten more, He gave him authority over ten cities, someone else made five more and received authority over five cities. Someone buried his and was damned and seven absconded and we don’t care. All of these within the same period. Many are called, few choose to respond, not few are chosen. It is not God who chooses those who will respond. Joshua 24:15. Church Gist. I thank God that I have not wasted one iota of my time. Before He found me, I found Him and we have been married together. 46 years running and not tired of running after souls. Jesus is doing me well. It is refreshing, it generates enviable results. It is your turn to make your choice. You are not going to miss this season. John 12:32. We are going to see massive drawings of men and women this Easter season. He went down and died on our behalf to raise many sons to glory.
COMMANDING THE SUPERNATURAL is what we are looking at in our Midweek Services. Exodus 4:17 is our anchor scripture and we want to demystify what that rod is. Isaiah 11:1-2 says a rod shall arise out of the house of Jesse and the seven spirits of God shall be upon Him. Revelation 5:6 says Jesus is the One with the seven spirits of God and Jesus is the living Word of God. John 1:14. What that scripture is simply saying is “Thou shall take this word in thy hand wherewith thou shall do signs’ ‘. Church Gist. The word that we put to work is the word that God confirms into signs and wonders. Not the word that we know, the word that we put to work. John 2:5-11. The water turned to wine at the instance of obedience of faith. Obedience of faith is what puts a believer in command of his situation. No disobedient believer has a future in the kingdom.
There was this man born blind in John 9:7-8 that Jesus commanded to go and wash in the pool of Siloam and he went and washed and he came back seeing. Obedience of faith created sight for this man that had no eyes. John 21:5-6. Obedience is what empowers believers to be in command of the supernatural. 1 Samuel 15:22. Mark 16:15-20. He sent them to preach the word and they went, he followed them with signs confirming the word. That is how to command the supernatural. You can’t use confession to open the windows of heaven financially, you use tithe and kingdom promotion investment. Those are the two ways to see the windows of heaven open. There is no Papa that can pray for you without that and the windows of heaven will open. To enjoy health and vitality, be a fruit-bearing believer, he will keep you supernaturally fit. One of us was undergoing health challenges and He said “God, I can’t accommodate sickness because of this reason – I am one of your few labourers”. God said “Make you no vex” and rooted out that sickness from him. They are the things that God confirms into signs and wonders. Daniel 12:3. Church Gist. How do you get your star to shine? Go after souls and then you emerge a star that shines forever and ever. John 4:36. You can’t beg bread going after souls. Luke 22:35. Those are the things that put a believer in charge of signs and wonders. It is not praying and breaking your head, it is praying to align with the word so you can be in command of signs and wonders. Every child of God is redeemed to command the supernatural. Isaiah 8:18. Jesus came as a sign with the power to refuse evil and choose the good in the affairs of his life. We are redeemed as signs but to gain command of signs, we must have the rod in our hands. We must align with the instructions of the word and then we are in command of signs and wonders in our word. On the mount of temptation, Jesus pulled out the rod to knock the devil. Matthew 4:4. Knockout by the word. We need the word in our hands to refuse the evil and choose the good. To have it the way you want it all the time. That’s the realm you are entering into right now.
In 1 John 1:1, we have a very clear picture of what it takes, we must get to a point where we handle the word of command on any subject matter. The word of command is not just in your mouth but in your hand. You saw the wonders that emanated from the rod in the hand of Moses. Exodus 7:10,17, Exodus 10:23. That rod is the living word of God. When it moves from revelation to illumination, you are in command. Revelation shows you where to go, illumination gets you there by force. Church Gist. The light scatters all the darkness that may want to resist your going forward. We are enlightened for breakthroughs, we are illuminated for dominion. Hold the rod in your hand and you are in charge. John 1:5. Light will never beg darkness to give way. As light is coming, darkness is saluting and giving way. Let’s go for the word. Only true committed word students gain real command of the supernatural. You can’t be reminded of what you have not learned so when you are challenged, He brings it back to you.
With the word in our hand we now engage for command. Acts 14:3. Mark 11:23. John 3:8. Only sound guarantees command of signs, no sound no signs. Psalm 18:44. They must hear before they surrender. You can’t claim command without issuing commands. Psalm 81:10-14. Every miracle that happened in Egypt, the Lord said unto Moses “say unto Pharaoh”. You have to say it for him to bow. Interestingly, the more light we gain from the word, the stronger our faith becomes. Church Gist. Faith is a product of spiritual insights from the word. It comes by hearing and understanding the word. The stronger your faith, the higher our level of command. Matthew 8:24-27. Their level of faith determined their limit of command. “O ye of little faith”. Faith is in classes. Set yourself to develop into the next level of faith so you can gain greater command on the issues of life. Mark 4:36-41. That tells you the place of faith in commanding the supernatural. That’s why the word does not work on its own, it is our obedience of faith that makes it work in our hands. Faith is vital, we must continue to build our faith so we can keep gaining command of the affairs of our life.
- The last defeat anyone suffered is the last we will ever know.
Finally, we understand that the Holy Ghost is the Grand Commander of the supernatural. Joel 2:28-30. When He came down on the day of Pentecost, wonders began and wonders continued without end. He is the factory of wonders without numbers. Job 9:10. Miracles everywhere, what we call Acts of the Apostles were the raw acts of the Holy Ghost. Acts 5:14. All kinds of signs and wonders. Peter’s shadow was healing the sick, you saw how Elymas was cut down. Paul cleared the obstacle for the Deputy to believe as He was filled by the Holy Ghost (Acts 13:8-12). Acts 5:12, 15-16. Acts 14:11, 19-20, 19:20. Church Gist. We must keep craving to put ourselves in command of the supernatural. Don’t sit down there and watch your oil finish. Ezekiel 47:1-5. Don’t just think that speaking in tongues is all about being filled with the Holy Ghost. You have to know how to move from being filled to experiencing greater and greater power. You are sent to command the supernatural to bless your world, you are not to be looking for miracles, the miracles are inside you and you need to trigger them and get on board.
Give God thanks, everyone. You are redeemed as a sign to your world. You are not permitted to be stranded. Position yourself as one in a revival, don’t do these things, as usual, it won’t work. Don’t just go and be chatting on the road and say you are going on evangelism, it doesn’t work that way. Church Gist. We serve a God of intentionality, not just things done anyhow. We must pray, our prayer must have content in words, content in faith. Do you know why I am shouting this way? I know the devil is eyeing your package, don’t let him have it.
Everything not found in Christ cannot be found in your life, therefore :
- Your health is restored in the name of Jesus.
- Every operation of the devil comes to an end tonight.
- You are returning home a brand new person.
- The rewards of what God sees in secret will start manifesting in your life.
We were set to begin the Ark project in 2016, everything was in place, we had done the test of the site and I said to Jesus “I am awaiting your Marching Order”, silence. “Jesus, what are you saying?” Silence. He told me in 2017 “don’t speak to me on this matter until I speak to you if need be”. He sent the signal with clear words on why He held us back by sensitivity to what He said before. The Ark is the cheapest thing we have ever done as a ministry yet the biggest. So when God stirs a change, it is because something unusual is about to happen. This season will stir a change in the life of everyone here.
