There are days and there are certain days. May today be to every worshiper a certain day, a day to be remembered. A day you will not forget in a hurry. Such days are days of encounter with light. It is not easy to miss out on a day of light. You may forget a day of miracles but a day of light is not easy to forget. Nothing endures like a genuine encounter with light. Church Gist. They are not easily forgotten. “There is a place for you on top if you are interested”, it lives with me not that I think He said it. I know my response and the effects are here.

• May today be that day when your light will strike you and lead to testimonies for years to come.
  It is not enough to teach what way to go, it is important to let people know why it is not working. The ultimate of every truth we enquire about is to make it work. People are looking for what is wrong with somebody else, nobody’s unbelief can make your faith have no effect. Church Gist. Nobody’s unbelief under heaven can make your faith have no effect. Where I am and where you are in your responsibility and your choice.
• In the name of Jesus today must be one day you will remember for years to come.

Heavenly Father, we are here at the feet of Jesus. Let your word come true to every one of us. Let your word come alive today in Jesus precious name.

Please take note of the following before we get into our teaching series today.

• We are in the eleventh hour of Operation Change of Story. The eleventh hour is everybody’s opportunity in case there was any form of slumber in the first to sixth weeks. Now we are in the seventh week, the last of the weeks please connect. Only those who truly believe in a messenger can be impacted by his message. Church Gist. They never believed in the message of Jesus even though he came straight from God. Human beings have their choice. Only those who truly believe in a messenger can be impacted by their message. Until you receive the prophet what he carries cannot impact your life. Why are you sweating? For you.

I have not faked one thing or tried to impress you with one kind of statement. It is working for me 101% and consistently so. Only those who truly receive a messenger can be impacted by his message. Jesus landed in Nazareth, people said “Is this not Jesus, the man that ran away. He is to take over from his father as a carpenter. They just said he went somewhere and was preaching, who taught him how to preach. they don’t preach in their family”. They did not receive his person, they could not be impacted by his message. A word is enough for the wise. I received the message and the person of Hagin and his cloak fell on me. I received the person and message of Copeland and I received the person and message of E.A. Adeboye. There is no doubt where the things that are working in my life are coming from. Please wake up. Church Gist. Paul was weeping in warning the Church against vulgar tongues, deadly tongues. That is why things are not working for many. Anything done or said against the Church is against Jesus. Acts 9:5. Not your church only, any Church of Christ. Anything that you and your wife sit down to talk against the Church of Christ is deadly. It is poisonous. It is a killer disease. Many have killed themselves without knowing. Church Gist. I have told you by teaching and by example, you have never heard me speak against a Church in your life so where did you get it from? You say our Church is better than yours, which Church is your own. Jesus bought the Church with His blood. Caution. You may not agree against the doctrine of a church but anything you do against the Church of Christ in secret or in open you pay.

Acts 20:29-31, 1 Thessalonians 4:11.
You gather against the leadership of your unit, what is your problem? Did they force you to be there? Leaders of units gather against the Pastor. People are killing themselves without knowing where their death sentence is coming from. 2 Thessalonians 1:6. That is God’s agenda for the troublers of His Church – tribulation. Troubles without numbers. Beware! I have seen disciples from other Churches coming to me and telling me what their leader said and I just despise and throw it away. I know where I am going. If they talk against you, face your business you don’t understand them. Church Gist. Don’t be dragged into deadly talks. James 3:5. When people get saved on the field, I tell them to ensure they belong to a living Church, ours is only one of several thousand. That’s the truth. Caution! It is not just about me in this Church, anywhere you are in your life. If you speak against the Church of Christ the price is heavy.

Matthew 12:30-32.
When the Holy Ghost is moving, don’t sit down somewhere and be mocking it. It shall not be forgiven. Paul did the things he did in ignorance but he suffered. The way he was bounding people, that is the way they bound him, everything he did, he paid. I told one of my mentors that you don’t need to be beaten to write an epistle, I have not been beaten but I write epistles. He was beating believers, he had to get the beating back. You better wake up. Thank God for principles but thank God much more for corrections in scriptures. Church Gist. So you don’t labour in vain. You will never miss your place. This is God Himself just reacting, may God never react against anyone of us in the name of Jesus Christ.

Every truth of scriptures we believe is for our triumph, it is for our benefit. I said humorously that the truth we don’t believe is for our own cup of tea. Romans 6:23, 14:23. The truth you despise is your cup of coffee. You will just lose value. 1 Samuel 2:30. The truth you scorn is your cup of gin. I pray that the triumph God has ordained for His children, you will not miss your portion. May no one go for blasphemy against the Holy Ghost anymore in his life. When you find a warning like this, it may be the last warning. Caution! Caution!!

Some leaders of ministries gathered at a time and were planning how to disrupt this Church, none of them today has any place of meaning in ministry. Isaiah 54:15. Don’t gather against the move of God, it is a risk. Don’t work against it. Don’t de-evangelize people from one church to your church. We had a church next to us in Raji Oba, 1A New Era Road. It was a CPM Church, there was no issue. Church Gist. A dwarf fence separated us, the pastor came to us to teach him about Church Growth, we did. Our Church was growing, the other one was growing. Nobody was going there and we said: “No! Come here. This one is better”. That’s why we are where we are. One of our sisters in the Lord had some health challenges and she said she saw in a dream that Pastor Kumuyi was praying for her. So I wrote a note to Papa Kumuyi: “Sir, this my daughter needs a touch from you”. He is my elder brother. He taught me a lot of things. Life is not politics. This is kingdom. I met someone from Christ Chapel in those early days in New Era Road, I said wait a minute, I used to know you at… he said he wants to start coming here, I said never! No! You can’t be here. Get your pastor and tell him, if he gives you sabbatical, then you can come here. That is how we live our lives. It is not a political party, it is kingdom, order, decency, decorum, discipline. Somebody’s story is changing. Do you like the teaching this morning? Don’t call it teaching, call it warning. You have been having teaching all your life, now have warning.

We live in a kingdom where it is to everyone according to his faith, so jealously guard your faith. Don’t allow anyone’s unbelief to drag you into a pit. God has a plan for you. He brought you here because He has something for you here, gather the package. Now hear the good news: our God does not require anyone’s approval, input or remarks to promote anyone of us, He is absolutely in charge. So your destiny is not in any man’s hand. It is between you and God. Psalm 75:5-7. It is not about what anybody thinks or feels about you, it is about the quality of your stand with God that determines your next level in life. God is absolutely responsible for your promotion as you line up with His will. This is why every child of God is absolutely responsible for the outcome of his life. That is his experience in life. Joshua 24:15, Deuteronomy 30:19. It is the dawn of a new day for you. Somebody chose to believe as a new convert, he was on his way home and received a call that opened up his destiny. Church Gist. “Well we heard that last Sunday, we heard it two Sundays ago and it didn’t bring anything”, you didn’t believe anything so how will it bring anything. No one can believe for you, Jesus could not believe for them in Nazareth. So your faith is as a result of your choice. May you believe the prophetic word coming from God’s word and line up with it today.

Gateways to Financial Fortune.

Job 22:21-25. Get in tune with God and be at peace. Line up with God’s word according to every area of your life and be at peace. The law of sowing and reaping, the law of giving and receiving. Philippians 4:15, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7. Receive I pray thee the law. 120 days of straight fast without food and water won’t change that. The law won’t change. It is the anchor of the covenant that entitles a believer to take hold of his riches in Christ. Don’t seek for options. They don’t exist. One of my sons showed up yesterday and I said if you have been doing what I have been teaching you, you won’t be in this condition. Church Gist. I can’t pay for your disobedience. I told him with a burning heart. This thing has no alternatives. If you are not a giver, it is impossible to prosper in God’s agenda. If you steal you come under a curse so it won’t add value. The interesting thing is that you can start from where you are, God is not a taskmaster. He said from the place where thou art. Some of us, if we give #1 to someone, the person should be jumping because it is coming out of where we are. Which even looks to be above what we gave him but tomorrow the same person will be giving a hundred to the needy and then a thousand and a hundred thousand and then a million. It’s all in stages, you don’t start schooling from 100 level. You start from kindergarten without teeth but that is a professor sitting down there. They cane you, that is a professor rising, he needs that cane to build up. Non-starters will never be finishers. The greatest challenge in this law is inconsistency in our covenant walk. You do it today, you forget tomorrow. I curse the plague of inconsistency in your walk with God. God’s blessings answer only to those who are walking with Him. It is a walk, it is not magic. Our consistency in the walk is what determines the outcome. Someone came to tell you that he has been paying tithe since ’82, you can’t blame God for showing up in his life from stage to stage. He has been promoting God’s kingdom at his level, consistently so. There is no way the heavens will be shut. Church Gist. Please understand; that this is not magic, it is a walk. God’s covenant of blessing is not a magic wand, it is a consistent walk with God in line with the covenant. Otherwise, you get something and it disappears after some time. The things He has been doing for us as a Church has never been blown off, consistently so. Some folks were present, they are no longer present. It doesn’t affect it. Your walk with God defines your destiny not their walk with God.

1. By redemption, we belong to a kingdom that demands the first place for God both in our hearts and through our acts.

Matthew 6:33, Isaiah 24:13. Give God the first place in your heart and also in your acts. Show me your faith with works and I will show you mine by my works. We have the first place for God in our hearts and we demonstrate this through our acts. That is the demand that makes life fulfilling, enriching and robust in the kingdom. Matthew 22:38-39. Church Gist. That is what makes life meaningful and impactful in the kingdom. It is better you know the constitution of the new kingdom that you are in otherwise you keep violating the rules that make life meaningful, impactful and fulfilling in the kingdom.

2. We must hear God first before He will hear us.
   Zechariah 7:13.
   Our obedience first before we can commit God’s integrity. We must honour him first with our substance and with the first fruit of our harvest. Proverbs 3:9-10. Church Gist. Anything less than first is not acceptable to him. We must obey him first before we are entitled to his generational blessings. Psalm 112. It is through delightful obedience that we enter into that realm.

What is in the covenant?
The covenant is God’s bailout platform for harsh economic situations all through the ages. No situation on earth can make God’s covenant of no effect. The covenant of abundance is God’s bailout agenda in hard times. He distinguishes and spares you in hard times. Malachi 3:17-18, 4:1-2. You better be consistent. Hard times are here, harder times are ahead. They are burning like an oven, today you can run to Canada, but it is still burning there. Asia Minor, Asia Major, the whole earth shall burn like an oven. The only hiding place is the covenant. I know that time is coming, God never lies. You better wake up and take cover. You may not take any of our testimonies seriously but the testimony of your church is open. Every economic challenge Nigeria has ever faced they didn’t touch us. Church Gist. Not once! We have never had to cut down on one thing once. In the name of Jesus, being under this canopy and connecting in truth with it, nothing will go down in your life. When people will be sacking staff, you will be employing more. In Genesis 47, in the heat of the famine when people were offering themselves up for sale. Israel dwelt under the same environmental conditions but they increased and multiplied exceedingly. Genesis 47:27. Money failed in the land but at that time God’s people were gloriously and enviable exempted. That is the strength of a covenant covering hard times. I am telling you the truth, this Church can never be poor forever because of the validity of the covenant. It is not that they came, they didn’t come. It is not man-made. It has nothing to do with people, it has everything to do with God. If hatred of men can stop people’s prosperity. It would have stopped my own. Some are having headaches and migraines because of the enormity of blessings that I carry through the covenant. Psalm 112:10. Job 22:35. It is not about people’s goodwill or bad will, it is about your covenant stand. Church Gist. I pray that no one here will suffer this ongoing heat now that it is bound to be on the increase. That is the other side of the end-time agenda. God who distinguishes between those who are serving Him and those who are not serving Him will distinguish you. That’s how strong the covenant is.

The vital terms of this covenant like we have said over and over again are that personal tithing exempts your person and your household. Corporate tithing exempts your business and career endeavours. It is not enough to be under that covering, bring your business also under that covering. No matter what is going on and not going on, you will be exempted. I came under this covering March 22nd 1982, the Church came under this covering September 9th 1987. Triumph, triumph, triumph. I don’t know what the size of your corporation is but marry it with the size of this Church in volumes of heavenly blessings. This Church does not draw a dime from any of our foreign missions. In the precious name of Jesus, nobody will shut the gate of his blessings against himself. God does not need your tithe. He gave you the whole ten so he is not eyeing the one-tenth that you will return. Church Gist. God is not eyeing the tithe of your business, He gave you the business and where the business is now He made it happen. John 1:16. God is not eyeing anything from us, He will never need it. Like one of my domestic staff now thinks I am trying to play him to give me something. That the way Papa is doing, I think he wants to get something from me. Now we are worse than that in the sight of God. The whole world is like a drop of water, how do you now weigh against that. The whole world is like a drop of water, then Nigeria is what? Then you are one person. They will need a super microscope to locate you. So when I came out to say that God doesn’t need us for anything, we need Him for everything. You will never be disappointed in the name of Jesus Christ.

Then of course Kingdom Promotion Engagements. Luke 12:21. Then giving to charity, that is being a blessing to the suffering world around us. Matthew 25:35-40. We are involved in being a blessing to the suffering world among us so let’s wake up to it. The big bang among others is that the covenant of abundance provides for a good old age as one of its fresh benefits. No one here shall die young. A good old age is one of the entitlements of men that walk in the covenant. A good old age, not a burdensome old age where children are wishing that you go. Church Gist. A good old age where you sit down and cross your leg and praise the name of the Lord who has dwelt wondrously with you. I knew a man by the name Samuel Sadela. I knew him to his bedroom. I knew his giving life as exemplary. You get down there to say Hello Sir and he asks them to put something in your boot. I saw him in that at 112. He got clothes for me and my wife for one of my birthdays, it is his blood. He went home to heaven at 114. A good old age is one of the vital benefits of walking in the covenant. It is the right of everyone who walks in it. Abraham demonstrated it, Isaac demonstrated it, and Jacob demonstrated it. Church Gist. This Church is made up of people that don’t die young. You are one of them. At 100 you will be sounding strong. Money cannot buy long life. As you serve God with your means walking in the covenant, you are procuring blessings.

As we round up this morning our covenant day of Career and Business Breakthrough. You are starting on a journey if you are interested. God’s blessing is an adventure that we move into from one realm to another. You never know a setback anymore as you keep walking with Him. There is one area that scares me about God. You have been doing the right thing all this while and you stop doing the right thing and start doing the wrong thing. He will forget the right that you have done. The wrong in which He finds you is what He shall judge you by. That is one severity of God. We need consistency. Church Gist. Exodus 18:24-25. We need a quality walk with God with consistency. This Church was once in a storehouse that has no privilege of cross ventilation because the next fence was just by the window of one side of it so if you wear a 3 piece suit, you will be sweating from inside to outside to show the level of sweat and it could seat about 300 people with benches. We didn’t succeed to fill it the first year. Then God’s grace came and we moved outside without a roof. Open air Church. So we decided to start at 5:30 in the morning to beat the sun in the North but the anointing will come and the sun will meet us. The. God blessed us so much and we built a grass Cathedral in town with no flooring. It is a walk. You don’t because of that run off to America, you have run off destiny. It is a walk. If you are coming out of a bank and you are starting a business, don’t think you will start with the same desk that you are using in the bank. You start with a white wood desk, no foam on the chair so your body can be awake. Starting from the top is a risk. It’s a walk. Church Gist. The reason we have armed robbers on the street, they can’t wait. How long will it take me to buy a car under this condition? So they go and rob and in the process they kill him. In the process, they bought a car in the grave. It’s a walk. The only vehicle here then was a Volkswagen Beetle but one day we dedicated about 88 buses on this ground. It’s a walk. One day we bought 100 brand new buses. He built for Himself 50,000 capacity sanctuary without our budget. It is a walk. Now He is building 109,000 capacity. May you receive grace for consistency. No single genuine, dedicated member of this Church will end up an ordinary citizen of the earth. Be genuine, don’t fake this thing. You belong there, belong there, you don’t belong, get out of there. This thing works. I have been with Copeland since 1976. Consistency. I have been with Kenneth Hagin since 1976, He is heaven I am still with Him. Consistency. Imagine now being consistent in your walk with God and what that will mean. I have never had a thought of being weary of following Jesus. Church Gist. Do you have challenges? Just wait. Wait for my autobiography you will see challenger. That chapter is the most exciting one you should look for when you get the book – My Share of Challenges. A decision, an oath backed by God to stick unto Jesus as your anchor.

• 

Four things to note and then we pray;

1. The gateway to all breakthroughs is access to light from the scriptures.

Isaiah 60:1-3, 15,22.

Light is the master key to a world of unrestricted breakthroughs. It just keeps moving when you choose to walk in that light. I did teaching recently on the life span of light. Light has its lifespan, Genesis 1:16, John 16:16. So it appears when you don’t engage with it, it disappears. If you open your device and do not use it, it goes off. When you don’t embrace and run with the light you have it goes off. John 12:35. Every revelation just lasts a little while, don’t engage and it disappears. Today we are talking about the 11th hour. You say you don’t think so, you are smarter than God. Church Gist. How can God teach you your thoughts are heavier than his thoughts, with a PhD in Theology and Eschatology? How can God teach you, you are too much? You don’t get it today, you wait till another time. The night is 12 hours, the day is 12 hours. You don’t work with it, it goes. You find out about all those patriarchs of renown. They were men that dived into every instruction of God. Arise, get down to Lagos, we rose the same day. The Harvest of Africa is now ripe, we dedicated the following day. Grace to be smart in responding to every correction from heaven receives it now in the name of Jesus. If you want your business to work just line up with the light of God’s word as He reveals them to us.

2. Working in delightsome obedience to God and His commandments after the order of Abraham will engender generational breakthroughs.

Genesis 14:23. You don’t collect riches from everywhere and call them breakthroughs. It can be an accursed thing. Don’t join in changing books and changing numbers, that is not the way to go. Church Gist. Many here shall enjoy generational breakthroughs. Isaiah 51:1-3. Those instructions will always lead to generational breakthroughs. Psalm 112. Obedience to God will always unleash favour on his people.

3. One cannot give Christ the first place in his life and not experience supernatural breakthroughs in return as in the case of Peter. (Luke 5:1-7)

The kind of catch they never got before, they got it there. Welcome to the verge of that kind of supernatural breakthrough in your life. Make this week a week of establishing the first place of God in your heart. Make it a week of demonstrating that first place with your actions. In the name of Jesus Christ. That is the way it works. Everything we do here works. Covenant and Landmark are pacesetting universities in Nigeria for how many years? Church Gist. God’s word is applicable to every venture on earth. One of my sons spoke to me, he said one foreigner in the U.S. said to him “do you know Covenant? Why don’t you go there? He said they don’t just go there you go through the process. Everything ruled and controlled by the word works. Don’t let temporal frustrations lead to your disconnection. If you ever get disconnected from the word, you have entered into a world of crisis. Please stay with God.

By strength shall no man prevail, don’t allow your experience to become your imprisonment. Without the hand of God, you can do nothing. In the name of Jesus, beginning from today God’s great hand shall rest upon your life and the works of your hand. Psalm 1:1-3. The terms are clear. This man doesn’t walk in the counsel of the ungodly- let’s manipulate, let’s manipulate. He does not stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of the scornful. He doesn’t sit down there. I can’t stand one second with someone who despises Jesus. You despise Jesus and you need my attention? Never! This thing is not diplomacy, it is spirituality. My wife is sitting down here to ask if I have ever discussed any prophetic word with her in my life. There are things that God prompts you to declare. Church Gist. My prayer for you is that you have God’s word to have the reign over your business life in the name of Jesus. When God blesses your chewing stick business it will flourish like energy. When God blesses your fashion design business, it will go global like I.T. When God blesses your waste bottle business, you will make millions out of it. What businesses lack today is the blessing of God. When it comes on it, it turns the struggles into miracles, the sweat to sweet. He blesses you to impact what you do. So line up with what makes God bless people. Malachi 3:8-10. Exodus 23:25. Line up with what makes God bless people.

You saw that my son went and did some honour to his parents, last Sunday he testified. He heard me say honour your father and your mother. He went and honoured his parents with that seed and they proclaimed a blessing on him on that Sunday. By Tuesday, he got a job in a managerial position. That is parental blessings think of honouring the Father in heaven. If the blessing of a man and a woman upon their son, whether they are anointed or not we don’t know. Church Gist. Imagine pulling out a blessing from the heart of God. You will succeed in pulling out that blessing this week. The blessing of the Lord that maketh rich and adds no sorrow, you are pulling it out this week. I told you severally that I gave a seed to my grandmother when I was 20 and she said to me “you brought this for me?” I said yes. She said you shall be great. If an old woman’s blessings can still speak how much more the blessings of God when you hit a point of honour for him.

Give God thanks for the timely warning and teachings.

• Just as this Church has never known a setback in 41 years, you will never know a setback all the days of your life.
• No one among us here will tell the story of when you used to serve God. You shall serve Him to the end.
• Your breakthrough shall know no end.
• Your life shall be from glory to glory. The devil shall not have a way in your business and career.
• Your breakthrough begins today and shall continue for life.
