THERE IS NO PROPHET WHO CAN PROCLAIM A BLESSING ON YOU THAT YOU HAVE NOT OBEYED YOUR WAY TO QUALIFY FOR.

THERE IS NO SCRIPTURAL VERDICT THAT HAS A PLACE OR CONSIDERATION FOR THE DEVIL. ONCE WE DO OUR PART, THE DEVIL IS OUT OF THE EQUATION SUPERNATURALLY.

One morning I was with one of my cousins and I picked this copy of Miracle Today by Oral Roberts. First time in my life I sighted the mystery of the eagle. What a blessing from one word. You may look like a struggler in the beginning but if you don’t stop the right thing you end up soaring. My cousin never knew what I found, he just saw that the environment had changed. When the baby eagle is born, you can’t become an eagle in the nest. You have to get to the skies. The mother will pick the baby eagle on her back soar into the sky at a particular stage and then remove her back from the eaglet. Church Gist. It starts struggling but it is building strength. When it is about to crash into fire or water, the mother eagle comes to pick it up. Struggle number 1. Another time he is playing on the back of the mother and she removes her back and suddenly the eagle in it comes alive. People may be mocking you today, keep doing the right thing, you will soon step into the soaring realm. That was the month of July 1977. Bless the soul of Oral Roberts who provided me with a template for securing my glorious destiny in Christ through that one word.

Prayers: Ask God for a template for your life tonight.

Lord Jesus, thank you for the answer to our prayers today. Thank you for the grace to wait on you. Thank you for hearing all our prayers. You have ordained fasting for the outbreak of revelation. Let there be an outbreak of light tonight. That will help secure our great tomorrow in your plan in Jesus precious name.

UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF OBEDIENCE. God’s word is pregnant with wonders but only obedience of faith can tap into it. John 2:5. Whatever He tells you to do, do it believing and go to rest. Not doing it trying Him and tempting Him to see what He will do. 1 Samuel 15:22. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. There is so much power in obedience that can set a nobody from the corner of the world to above all nations. So much power! You can’t tell the worth of obedience until you have obeyed. Nobody can tell the worth of obedience until he has obeyed. Church Gist. Obedience might be costly but the end result is priceless. Psalm 34:8. It is a taste of obedience that shows how good, God can be. He tells you what to do and you go in to do those things believing not trying Him. Many people are tempting God, they are posing to be trusting Him when they are tempting Him. There is so much power in obedience. Obedience is proof of our faith in God’s word to make it good. Faith is fake without obedience. It is obedience that gives substance to faith. James 2:26. When you are out of obedience you are out of faith.

We saw Abraham consistently demonstrate his faith by delightsome and prompt obedience. “Get thee out of thy country” and the man departed the next verse, not the following chapter. “Circumcise all the males born in your house” he began with himself as God left speaking with him. “Take your only son Isaac whom thou loveth” and he rose early in the morning. Abraham was not justified by faith but by the work of faith. That is the whole essence of James 2. When we do what the word commands believing, we have committed God’s integrity to confirm His word. 2 Timothy 2:13, Luke 1:45. Every statement of scripture is from the Lord. Isaiah 34:16. The blessing of it comes through believing. Church Gist. Believing is validated by obedience. Matthew 9:27-29. He said according to your faith, not according to my anointing. It is always to us according to what we choose to believe and obey to show we believe. It is good to believe that he that winneth souls is wise and that the wise shall inherit glory. But the glory is far-fetched without doing what attracts the glory. Daniel 12:3. The confirmation will never come to light without being committed to the demand of turning many to righteousness. That’s how powerful obedience is.

Let’s take note of the following facts.

1. When our obedience is complete and sustained, we subdue all opposing forces.
   Numbers 13:30, 14:1-10, 24. I followed Jesus fully to this place, with no ambiguity. No “if it doesn’t work then we go back to Capernaum”. Never! You follow fully and He clears oppositions for you. He levels them out. You can’t fully follow the demand of turning men to righteousness and not emerge a star no matter how many devils are in hell. There is no scriptural verdict that has a place or consideration for the devil. Church Gist. That means when your obedience is complete the devil is out of the equation supernaturally. He stands aloof. He can’t move near. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6. When our obedience is fulfilled we avenge all disobedience, we silence them, we trample over them. When Israel obeyed and headed for the Red Sea, the Sea parted before them. Full obedience. Psalm 114:1-7. The sea saw them and fled, full obedience clears the opposition without any struggle. Exodus 14:15-16.

• I see every barrier on your path clearing off on its own accord.
  Just obey God. Psalm 114:7. Obedience will always attract His presence and no barrier can stand His presence. Psalm 24:7-10. You have God’s presence, no gate can stand on your path.

We also discover from scripture that delightsome obedience will always trigger supernatural manifestations. It is not your struggling with it, it is out of a willing heart. 2 Corinthians 8:12. Psalm 112:1-3. Not “everyday outreach, what are the pastors doing? Don’t we have enough pastors that they are asking innocent people who just came for blessing to be going for outreach? All of God’s blessings trail the believer’s obedience. There is no prophet who can proclaim a blessing on you that you have not obeyed your way to qualify for. Can I command the windows of heaven to open over your head when you are not a kingdom promoter in your finances, you are not a tither? It is a waste of language. Church Gist. “oh God I command you”. Command me? This man is not entitled to it. You don’t use anointing to break God. I can’t proclaim you an ambassador. You have to be out reconciling the world back to Christ. He is the one who names ambassadors not titles they earn in Church. 2 Corinthians 5:20-21. I can’t name anybody an ambassador. Until He names you an ambassador you are not one, you are on a VISA stay. These things are real. Same blessings proclaimed by people in Church but different results, what happened? He is a God of knowledge by whom actions are weighed. He weighs your stand in the word to determine what blessing He confirms. Obedience is the key.

Psalm 48:21. There was gushing in the desert by delightsome obedience in following His instructions.

We should know that obedience of faith will always commit God to our supernatural change of story.
Deuteronomy 28:1-13 is a catalogue of change of story. That is what obedience does. John 9:7. Never seeing? What kind of wicked instruction. How will I get there?? Go and find out how to get there and wash. Is it not water can’t we get water here? Go to the pool called Siloam and wash otherwise you will be blind till death. Church Gist. He went and washed and came back seeing. That’s the power of obedience. Whatever He tells you to do, do it. Don’t ask Him why. Cheerfully and willingly align, you may look like a struggler in the beginning but a star at the end.

Also, know that supernatural supply answers to our obedience. In the case of the widow of Zarephath. She was gathering wood to bake the last cake so that she and her son could eat and die. Those were not days when you died of disease. You know when you will die, the food tells you that, by Wednesday this food is finished and all things within one week, you go to heaven. They know. “make for me first”. Obedience and then supplies, three and half years unabated via the simple act of obedience. You remember that story in 1 Kings 17:8-15. We have the story of the Prophet’s widow, you can be a prophet and be a debtor, your title and your calling have nothing to do with obedience. Church Gist. I am sure this woman must have been advising the husband to go and meet Elisha but he must have said “Elijah is a prophet and I am also a prophet”. When he died the woman went to Elijah and he said what do you have in your house? At that level of need, you still have to obey an instruction. Except for a cruise of oil. Go and borrow many pots, shut the door against you. All the pots were filled with marketable oil, go and sell, pay your debts and live on the rest. Supernatural supply in response to man’s obedience. Obedience is power.

I was on a mission trip to the U.S. in 1987 and then came back and I had some blessings on me that I received as gifts, the Lord said sow it all. So I did. I said I had a leading of the spirit to sow this to you, Sir. He said open your hand, he put it back there, from today this hand will never know dryness. He didn’t need the seed, he didn’t check whether it was small or big. Obedience. God sent Elijah on a rescue mission to the widow of Zarephath. Church Gist. He was feeding him by an angel right there at the brook called Cherith. He was on a rescue mission to that woman. Do you want supernatural supplies? You better connect with any instructions he gives you at any time. That fellow is in need, step in. You can’t tell what is in that, from one it can become one thousand that you are looking at. Somebody’s story is changing.

Obedience that works must be among others, delightsome obedience.

Jeremiah 23:33-39. God is not a burden to you but a blessing. You better don’t see any of His commandments as a burden. All these yanga people are doing, they don’t know where they are heading. God is never a burden, He doesn’t need you and me for anything. Of His fullness have we all received. If you stop worshipping Him today, it doesn’t make Him less than God. There are multitudes of angels in their innumerable company worshipping Him in Heaven. The whole church here is a few things compared to those worshipping Him in heaven now. Church Gist. Will He need your gold? No! He gave you the gold you have in your hand. Haggai 2:8. Deuteronomy 16:17. Stop proving that you blessed yourself. You can’t bless yourself, delightsome obedience comes out of that platform – God does not need me for anything, I need Him for everything. There is no commandment of scripture that is for His benefit. All commandment of scripture is for my benefit. Lord you are not a burden to me, I am just privileged to be saved by you and shown the light by you. Thank you, Jesus.

Let me ask a question, how many of you were brought here by anybody? Many found their way by God’s divine orchestration. The ones we bring are to boost our own destiny and our walk with God. Let’s do it with delight. That’s the way it works.

The obedience that works is tireless, sustainable obedience. Galatians 6:7-9. If you faint you miss it. If you faint you lose it. Keep at it. Grace to keep at our life of obedience till the end may it be everyone’s portion today.

We have the example of Peter, an exceptional obedient servant of Christ. Luke 5:1-9. From henceforth “you shall be fishers of men” and they left all and followed Him. See where that positioned them. Obedience is always the highway to our high places. I have said it before that there is coming the rise of an army of giants in this Commission. The concentration that the world has never known. Where you sit down in one congregation and you have a thousand giants who control the employment market, another thousand giants who control the commerce because they are hooked onto God. Serving God with utmost delight. Church Gist. One of my sons came here last week, he has been here for 28 years. The kind of testimony he was sharing with me, maybe we hear that kind in developed worlds. Unusual things at no debt to any bank, no stealing, not in politics. It will cover all ages: the children, the young, the adults, the aged. God will surprise us. Just keep doing what He says to do at your level per time. Don’t pose, be real and watch what God is going to do.

Serving God gave your Church its place in history. Simple. All that we are doing, is all we are doing. There is nothing happening behind you, there is no “when those pastors meet in the night you can’t tell what they are doing. I am telling you what we are doing now. It is the same thing we are doing here that we are doing there. Everything about the Church shining and shining, we should spare those who are angry. They have a right to. Obedience will always make a difference.

Ask God for grace for tireless obedience, delightsome obedience all the days of your life.

Everything we will ever need is in obedience. Obedience of faith will put us in command of the issues of life.

You can’t sustain revival by praying a sleepy prayer. When it is time to pray, pray. To forget even what you are praying about is not right. Do you want the Jesus kind of obedience? I want it desperately. He was obedient unto the death of the cross. Therefore God has highly exalted Him. The Master also was smiling on the cross with bruises, blood all over, with pain. You don’t give good news grinning. Church Gist. He turned to that thief and said “today you will meet with me in paradise”. Obedient unto death even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:8. He even said forgive them, they don’t know what they are doing. Your colourful destiny is tied to your total obedience after the order of Christ.

Luke 12:32.
God’s agenda always starts little, it keeps going and going. The little in one corner has taken the street, and going and going has taken ten streets, twenty streets, keep going and it is taking the town, next the state, going and going, it’s taking the nation. Church Gist. Going and going it is taking the continent, two continents. There were 120 in the upper room, see how that kingdom has expanded. That is how He expands destinies. You are just following and following and He is making and making.

Prayers: Lord help the joy before me to remain clearer by the day so my commitment can come on fire. Lord help me to keep seeing the tomorrow you have set before me in obedience.

• Nobody here will back out.
• Following God will be your delight for life.
• No one here will tell the story of when I used to serve God, you will not tell that story. Your children will not tell that story. Your grandchildren will not tell that story.

Deuteronomy 5:32-33. John 6:57.

• From now on, when they see you they have seen Christ in totality.

The Bible also enjoins that we provoke one another to love by sharing our testimonies. The testimony of the Yoido Christian Church gave birth to this Church. I was never there but I believed when I saw it and began to devour what could have led to those testimonies from 1985. Our cell growth exploits came from that same Church from the writings which we read. I have this humbling testimony to give you. For the year, my team has been able to reach a total number of 32,903 souls for Christ. Those are converts. Invitees that came, 63,806. It didn’t start here, it started somewhere but consistently building on it. Now a whole lot of office setup that runs both on the field and in the office. So much investment of His resources to drive it. It has to start from somewhere. Start from somewhere. Only genuine beginners become finishers. Start from somewhere. Church Gist. We have seen come into this Church out of those 32,000, 18,372 people that have stepped into this Church this year. For your information, I started on this journey before I ever became a pastor. Before I ever had a calling, my passion for Jesus came alive from Matthew 6:33 – the anchor of my destiny. I anchored my destiny in it and it is working. It is always working. The thing is right before you, run with it, lay hold on it. My prayer is that no one will end a byword and a proverb. There are many people engaging in viable positions with this and God who saw them in secret is just raising them. My prayer is that you will not be left out.

We are still on the Jesus Advertising mission, give them the fliers, if they throw them away somebody else will pick them up and read them. If they tear it, someone else will join it together like a puzzle and read it. I got a prophetic word from Charles Price dated 1916, it was in a crumpled paper. It is still in my drawer today. It’s a guide to God’s end-time agenda. It was to be trashed but I picked it. So don’t get angry with anyone who throws it away, someone else will pick it up.
