Father, we give You the praise for tonight, we appreciate You. Thank You because You are God; it is in You we live and move and have our being. I am asking at this moment that You will breathe upon this service; give everyone here today the reason to clarify that we have not wasted our time coming here. Blessed be Your name, honour to Your name, adoration to Your name, in Jesus precious name.

I welcome everyone here this night in the Precious name of Jesus Christ. Bringing you greetings, all the way from Warri. We had a most explosive and exciting time in Warri; we were in Warri church this morning and what is happening here is happening everywhere. Church Gist. A woman, herself and her husband, trusting God for the fruit of the womb for nine years, had two encounters with God, using my face to minister to her and then, the second encounter, she said that: got a needle and a syringe and then, tapped her abdomen and removed fluid from there and told her, that was the reason why she had not been pregnant. That what I just removed there now, for as long as that thing was there, she would never have been pregnant.

She immediately took in and they had the baby boy to present this morning, all the way in Warri.

• God is visiting people in the realm of the spirit and visiting people in the realm of the physical. He will visit you!

PRAYER:

• Lord, I am ready for my visitation.

Proverbs 3:13-19
Tonight, I will be speaking quickly on the subject: DIVIDENDS OF WISDOM.’ Our objective is to understand the dividends or the profitability of wisdom.

The scriptures make it clear that wisdom is profitable (Ecclesiastes 10:10). It pays to walk in wisdom and it costs to be devoid of wisdom. Church Gist. Tonight, we shall be examining the pay or the profit or the dividends of the wisdom of God. What is the pay of wisdom?
1). The Peace of God (Proverbs 3:13, 17). The easiest way to know that wisdom is available is when peace is available. The presence of peace is a confirmation of the presence of wisdom and the absent of peace is a confirmation of the bankruptcy of the wisdom.

Anything that puts your life under pressure is lacking in wisdom. Every operation, every endeavour, every decision that puts your life under pressure, that causes you to lose your peace is lacking in the wisdom of God. Never allow anybody to pressurize you into disaster. In finding the will of God, there is something we call the ‘Peace Test.’ Church Gist. There are many who didn’t pass the ‘Peace Test,’ yet they went and married. The conviction did not pass the ‘Peace Test,’ yet they took the journey.

Crisis is proof of wisdom bankruptcy. In a home, crisis every day; one person is lacking in wisdom or both persons are lacking in wisdom. The way of wisdom is the way of peace. When you see a man working in wisdom, no matter the enormity of his task, he is peaceful. You can’t feel tension around him; you can’t feel pressure in Him. If you go to God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo, it is as if nothing is happening. Two universities are running, over close to forty something thousand staff on payroll every month, planted churches, as at last year, ten thousand churches planted in one year – calm, restful, peaceful, no tension.

How much have we done that our life is so full of tension? What are we accomplishing that there is so much pressure? Church Gist. I said this many years ago and I will say it again: Don’t respect anybody enough to make a move when you have lost your peace. Wisdom is also the capacity to say no when no must be said.

2). Pleasantness and pleasure in life (Proverbs 3:13, 17). If you want life to be enjoyed and not endured, wisdom is a capital requirement. Because, it is possible to enjoy life and it is possible to endure life. If life must be enjoyed and not endured, wisdom from God, access to the mind, plan, purpose of God and the right way of doing things. Then, there is pleasantness and pleasure.

There are people today who are enduring marital relationships, enduring parenting, enduring one assignment or the other and there are those who are enjoying. The other day, I was in the office up here on Sunday evening, about 8 or 9:00pm and I told myself, I said, “Every regular person is now relaxing somewhere or doing one thing or the other, but here am I at this time at work.” Church Gist. But I asked myself a question again: “What will I rather be doing now, is there anything I will love to be doing now, apart from this?” The answer was a capital NO! Wisdom makes your work to become your hobby. You know some people will say, what is your hobby?
Responses: Traveling, footballing, going out for this and that.

The wisdom of God that plants you in what you are meant to be doing with your life, makes what you do with your life to also become what you enjoy doing with the rest of your life. There is no where you will rather be than doing what you are meant to be doing. Nothing you would like to do, other than what you are meant to do. So, you are just fresh all the time; your youth is renewed because you are in pleasure, not in pressure.

The other day, my wife said, “But that person is younger than you, but he looks older than you.” I said, “Oh no, don’t compare me with anybody’s physical look.” Because at a point, it is possible that I will be aging backward. Church Gist. That is, when you are meant to grow old; it was Smith Wigglesworth who subtracted one year from his age. When he would be eighty-five, he will be eighty-four and when he passed on in his eighties, going towards nineties, he was in full health, strength and energy.

• Every pressure of your life today is over!

That is what will cause you to ask God: “Lord, there’s so much pressure in what I am doing, is there something I am missing? Is there a wisdom I need to know that I don’t have? Just show me.”

3). Prosperity and provision from God. Anywhere wisdom is at work, supplies abound (Proverbs 3:14-16). You cannot genuinely carry the wisdom of God and be empty handed in life. The way of wisdom is the way of wealth (1 Kings 10:23-26).

I met a man, man of great honour and dignity, knows God, walking in wisdom. You know what the wife of the man said? She said, “This man is God’s gift to my life. God has used him to enhance my value. So big, yet he functions so small. Smart in the wisdom of God, he started a business and within 4-5 weeks, that business was already controlling about 15 billion naira; neat, tidy. I told him, “What brought you here will take you further and don’t go down. Church Gist. Don’t relax hand.” Wisdom provokes wealth. Any realm where you are wise, in that realm, you will rise. You remember the book, “Be wise and rise?” And as I am preaching right now, we have several wisdom books that you can access – powerful books. They are all wisdom books that will make you a commander of resources. Wisdom will show you where money is that others can’t see (Job 28:1-12).

That thing that turneth mountains by the root is called wisdom. That thing that cutteth rivers in the rock is called wisdom. That thing that sees the precious where others see garbage, that thing that sees wealth where others see waste, sees riches in rubbish; it is called wisdom. The way of wisdom is the way of wealth.

• Somebody here is exploding into that wisdom and exploding into wealth by that wisdom!

Wisdom is solution provision. There is somebody in this Assembly, that designed a system for financial solution provision in a certain realm. Church Gist. As at two days ago, he told me how they had signed a document and I am not sure if he knows exactly, the quantity of resources that is to come by that wisdom, providing solution where there is drainage of resources. He said, “I can help you gather the resources together and just give me this percentage.”
Wisdom is the way of wealth.

4). Preservation of life. Life is preserved by wisdom. To be wise is to last; to be a fool is to expire (Proverbs 3:16, Ecclesiastes 7:17).

There are many who have died a fool’s death; needless death. I told you a story one day, I was a young medical doctor at the Accident and Emergency Unit, where they call Casualty. During housemanship on a Christmas Eve, I can’t forget, that is, everybody is doing Christmas, you are on call and here comes in a young man, brought in dead, smelling of alcohol. He boozed Christmas booze, that is stupidity number one. Church Gist. He sat on a motorcycle that had no headlight, stupidity number two and was riding the motorcycle in the night, stupidity number three and rode straight; drunk, motorcycle without headlight in the night, straight into an oncoming Mercedes car. Stupidity that caused calamity and led to his mortality. That is called a fool’s death. He died fool’s death.

Remember when Abner died, David cried and said, “Why did Abner died a fool’s death? Joab called you aside and you know Joab is a bad man and you allowed him to talk with you as if he has anything good to tell you, only for him to stab you at the fifth rib and kill you.” Church Gist. He said, “Abner, you have died a fool’s death. You are a General, your hands are not tied. You are a man, not chicken. You would have fought it out.”

• You will not die a fool’s death! 2 Samuel 3:33-34
• Any journey that will kill you, may you not make it!
• Any friend that will occasion your death, may God cut you off from them?
• Any marital relationship or any other form of relationship that will bring you disaster, may it fail before it starts in the name of Jesus!

Anything you want to do and you have lost your peace, don’t do it. You know what Papa Oyedepo used to say? He said, “We invited you to come for, maybe a preaching engagement and suddenly he said, ‘Please I am unable to come.’ He said, at times, they may say, “Oh, but you have given your words that you will come” and this is his reply: “I am the one who said I will come, I am also the one now saying, I cannot come. Any challenge?” It is possible to keep your words and lose your life. What will you rather keep?

I have said this; there is nothing compulsory in life, except to make Heaven. It is not the ship in the water but the water in the ship that sinks it. There is crisis in the world no doubt, that is not what will finish you, but crisis inside. Church Gist. The world has no peace, that is confirmed. So, don’t kill yourself. But when allow yourself to have no peace, that is the one that finishes you. Build a house when God helps you, but don’t let a house build you.

5). Prestige and honour (Proverbs 3:16). Wisdom makes a man honourable, wisdom places you in the realm of prestige (1 Samuel 18:5).

You are respected beyond your age if you walk in wisdom above your age. Wisdom brings you into the path of honour and dignity. I was in my office today and a whole team of a principal officers of a university; Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Bursar and so on. Church Gist. They all sat with other elderly people, they came and they said, “We just wanted to let you know that the the Governing Council of the University and everybody agreed and they brought me the letter of appointment as Chancellor of their University and that, first tenure is five years. They brought in their academic brief and everything that bothers about their university, I should study them.

He said, we want you to help us reposition and also bring in spirituality. Among the people there are those who can give birth to me in the physical, that is in age. I told them, let me look at it, because I don’t want to accept a responsibility that I cannot discharge. Title without task is a waste. Church Gist. If I truly agree to that position, then under six months, that university must feel it, otherwise, there is no need to agree. Big head without brain is weight to the neck. Tittle without mantle is battle. You know we are in a wisdom class tonight. But that is the point of the matter, prestige.

In the Board of Regents of the Covenant University that I was appointment many years ago, which is like University Council, I think we are two or three medical doctors on that board, one of them became a professor of medicine when I was eight years old. Me, I was eight, that was my age and you are sitting on the same board with such a person.

• Every trace of shame, reproach and ignominy around your life is deleted today by the wisdom of God!

6). Promotion from God (Daniel 1:20-21, Daniel 3:30, 1 Samuel 18:5). One of our members here who had decided to apply the career and workplace wisdom in her workplace had gained promotions, recognition international; by wisdom, she contacted them. Church Gist. When I preached that message verbatim, a member of our church in America heard what I said, so she went to her boss and she said to the Boss, “please Sir, I have come here to ask you three questions:
i). Is there any burden you have in this workplace that I can relieve for you?
ii). Is there anything that I am doing in the course of my assignment, you are not happy with?
iii). Is there anything you will want me to do that I am not aware?”

The man looked at her and said, “I wish it was somebody else asking me this question, not you. All your three questions are no. There’s nothing I want you to relieve, there’s also nothing you are doing that you are not meant to do. Church Gist. I am happy with everything you are doing. That was a shift, it is wisdom that talks like that. It is wisdom that says, I am not just here to secure my own interesting, but the interest of my employer. It gives promotion. A woman that walks in wisdom in a marital setting will be promoted; she will be going up.

Once in a while and I have told you that, every genuine man, good man should place his wife on allowance. It is not the amount, but the fact that, “this is from husband.” Food money is not the allowance. Food money is house money. That is why some women used to write fake market list; they will include the money that they need in the list because they are not given any other money. Church Gist. But, this is food money separate, kitchen money separate and madam, this is pocket money for you, in case you need anything to do. That is, you have dependents; mother can send, relation can send, people can send; she can even meet somebody who is stranded and need help. You can’t come to husband and say, “I have some people who have challenge and I want you to help me, to help them.

No, that is not correct. So that happens and then, so, I place my wife on allowance and once in a while, I said, now, because of the goodness of your girlness, that is, having been such a good girl, I increase your salary from so and so amount to so and so amount. If she is a quarrelsome wife that will choke your neck, you will only reduce the allowance, until it disappears. She says, “Oga, what about the allowance?”
Response: I am not sure, because of your behaviour, your salary is suspended for the next three months.

Please bear in mind, it is not the amount. Even if it is ten naira or five naira, this came from husband. It is better you don’t have money in your pocket than madam and children not to have, because men are rugged, we can survive many things; women are very fragile. Church Gist. The Bible says they are the weaker vessel; not weakness of destiny, but emotion. What can make woman cry can make a man still be laughing. So, this wisdom guarantees promotion. You know we talked about marriage on Sunday and we are still in that season, I know that some men were not happy with me but, it’s all right, I am not looking for your favour. I want you to succeed because I am at the counselling place where I hear a lot of things from women and I know, there is such a scarcity of men that will do the right thing. But I believe that you cannot be under this mantle and do the wrong thing.

• You are the kind of men that the world is looking for and your voice shall be heard and your wife shall pray and bless you because you are doing the right thing and any man who is battling with scarcity and shortage, today, that battle is over!
• I decree financial supplies, supernatural supplies that will cause you to do the right thing around your life and your family!

What I’m talking about, I think I must have started it from around 1,000, 500; that is pocket money, this is for you. So, I am telling you, it is not the amount. 1,000, 500, depending on what was available then and then, it was increasing both as the help of God increased and as goodness of girlness increased. So, wisdom brings promotion.

7). Power, authority and rulership from God. Wisdom positions people in power, authority and rulership (Proverbs 8:14-15, Genesis 41:39-40).

Wisdom is the way of stardom and the way over the kingdoms. Wisdom is the domain of the wise. So, you cannot be wise and not have a domain that you are in charge of, you are a territorial commander.

• God is blessing somebody somewhere!

8). The Presence of God (1 Samuel 18:14, Genesis 39:2, Genesis 41:39, Amos 3:3). If God is a wise God and you align with Him in wisdom, anywhere you are, people will feel God. You carry the wisdom of God and the wisdom of God will promote the Presence of God.

I am fully aware that God is close to the wise and far from the fool. He will not identify with stupidity. So, when things are done wisely, coordinately, organizedly, you feel the presence of God. How many of you know that if your room is to scattered, even prayer is a challenge? Church Gist. That is, shoe is on the bed, bucket is on the wardrobe, the food of yesterday you ate is on anything, toilet is there and the flies are doing crusade and you come and lift up your hands and say, “Lord, I lift Your name on high…. You are always there to help…” and He will reply, “I cannot be here right now with you because your room is so scattered, I don’t know what is wrong with you? When will you correct your mind?”
You say, “Lord, I need Your presence.”
Response: No, it is my absence you need. You want to involve me in this dirtiness, I can’t be around. When you are correct, call me.

I don’t know how you feel, but I can never pray in a scattered room. Can you rest there? The thing must be in order, so God is not in disorganization, discord and disorder. Church Gist. Let the people sit down in a company of fifty, it was in that climate that the miracle happened. The pots were according to the manner of the purification of the Jews, fixed in order and then, God showed up.

Beloveth, there are many more things about dividends of wisdom, but this eight, if all of them manifest in your life, no devil can stop you. Two counsel very quickly:
1). Determine to pursue the wisdom of God. “Father, I am in pursuit of Your wisdom” (Ecclesiastes 1:13).

How do you know the area where you are to pursue wisdom?
Every area of crisis, pressure, every area where progress is lacking, there’s something you need to know and in that area, wisdom must be sought. “What do you want me to do? What am I meant to do here in this circumstance?”

2). Determine to receive the instruction of the wise. God passes His wisdom through the wise (Proverbs 1:5). Church Gist. I hear that if you want to hide anything from a fool or a black man, most cases if you want to hide anything, put it inside a book, because he will not open the book. That is not correct.

There are people who stopped schooling and also stopped learning. School may stop, but learning must never stop. Learning is for life. You may have a degree for a season and a master or PhD, but to learn is a lifelong thing. Church Gist. Everything around you is teaching you something; environment is saying something, every single thing. Just keep learning and I believe, the Lord will help us.

I like driving a lot, drove cross country in those days; Bauchi, Jos, Kano, Makurdi – all over, but I had to stop driving because at times, I am driving and then, light, instruction is coming and then, I have to write; pen and a paper permanently, pen and a paper beside the bedside; pen and a paper everywhere.

• I believe it is a new day!

Stand up on your feet, let’s give Him the praise.

-Father, thank You for Your Word to us tonight. Lift your voice and your hands and appreciate Him.

• Father, thank You for Your light that I just received by Your Word. Thank You for Your Word that entered and just gave me light, I thank You Lord because I receive the grace today to walk in the light of this Word, in the name of Jesus.

Proverbs 3:5-6

• Father, I ask tonight that You will direct my path into Your plan, purpose, agenda and wisdom for my life in this season, oh Lord in the name of Jesus.

Proverbs 14:12, Proverbs 16:25

• Father, I ask that You deliver me from the way of the wrong decision, danger, destruction and disaster, in the name of Jesus.

Psalm 136:1-4
Father, I ask that Your mercy will rescue my life from the consequences of previous wrong decisions; I receive mercy now.

Isaiah 54:17

• Father, I ask for deliverance from every enemy gang up, conspiracy, orchestration and condemnation against my life, family, destiny, our church, Dunamis and our nation in this season; oh you conspiracy, gang up and voice of condemnation, in the name of Jesus, you are condemned, you are silenced, you are nullified, you are neutralized now in the name of Jesus.
