Celebrate Jesus, before you take your seat, once again can we honour the man of God and the woman of God.

Spirit of the living God we have come again into your presence where nothing is impossible. Lord, we ask that as we go into your Word today, open our eyes to see, open our eyes to hear, open our heart to gain understanding. Lord, let no one leave here the same. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Yesterday we began what I titled UNDERSTANDING AND MANIFESTING KINGDOM WEALTH and there are about 12 modules that we need to look into but I think we were able to do about 4 or 5 of them.

The first thing is to give you a definition of Kingdom wealth. ChurchGist. Kingdom wealth is a wealth that has its source in God and the Kingdom as its purpose. So, it is a wealth that comes from God that is based on the Kingdom of God. Deuteronomy 8:18. The purpose of Kingdom wealth is the Kingdom and the covenant. You can get my teaching yesterday for proper understanding. I stopped yesterday by saying the Spirit of addiction will always provide for the addiction.

Today, because of the path we want to go into, I need to lay a foundation to help the Church with respect to the confusion that has happened in people’s lives. 3rd John 2. Listen, many times when we read this scripture our focus is that He wants us to prosper and be in good health but not many times have we actually sat down to look at the prosperity of the soul. Because what He is saying there is an engine upon which every other thing will prosper. So, it’s like a train, the engine of the train is in front and we have different cabins that are drawn by the engine of the train. ChurchGist. So, what God is saying is that I wish that you prosper and be in good health and that my wish for you is based on the fact that the engine of the train is moving. So, what is the prosperity of the soul?

Many of the challenges we have is because when we come into the Kingdom, we forget that when you become born again, being born again is a regeneration of your human Spirit that must translate to the maturity of your soul and the redemption of your body. So, we have a lot of us in Church, we are saved, our Spirit is saved but we have refused to develop our soul and take care of our body. So, all the things that God promised us are not able to manifest because we don’t do this. ChurchGist. Let me quickly do a crash course in human anatomy and the mind.

Now, you are a spirit, you have a soul, you love in a body. You’re not your body, you’re not your soul, you’re a spirit. Romans 12: 1-2. God was not speaking to the body, He was speaking to the Spirit to present the body. The body is not you, you’re a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body.

Now, your spirit has three compartments and everything about your spirit is where you have God’s consciousness. So, in your spirit you have the umpire or conscience, you have the intuition and then you have the worship compartment. Those are the three compartments and it gives connection with God. ChurchGist. But in your soul, you have four compartments, you have your mind, your will, your emotion and your intellect. It is with your soul that you have what is called self-consciousness.

In your body you have 5 compartments, the hearing, the smelling, the touching, the sight and the taste, with these you have what we call world consciousness. Listen well, we are talking about the prosperity of the soul. On these three compartments, you need to understand that if they are not being developed, you will not be able to maximize your possibility in God, if you develop your Spirit and you do develop your soul, there would be a deficiency in your walk with God, if you develop your Spirit and your soul and you don’t develop your body there would be a deficiency in your walk with God. That is why people that do not take care of their body can be anointed and like Elisha, they can die with fire in their bones, yet they died of sickness.

Now in that soul you have three windows, one of the windows open to the past, one opens to the present and one of it opens to the future. Now what are these three windows? Memory, contemplation and imagination. So, in your mind, which is the site of your being, you have the memory window that gives you the ability to replay the past. ChurchGist. You have the contemplation window that gives you the ability to sit and think intelligently about what you’re going through or what you have learnt, in order to make the right decision to move forward.

The imagination window gives you the ability to visit the future and return to today to make a decision that will take you into the future that you desire. So, when the Bible says I wish that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. It is saying that I want you to give attention to the prosperity of your soul and make sure that you continue to develop yourself, so that everything that I want to do, you will have the capacity to capture it. ChurchGist. I don’t know if you know much about power? But you see all these high-tension wires, they are carrying electricity but electricity cannot go from there into your house, it has to be stepped down, so there has to be a transformer that will step it down, to the level where it can be utilized in your house. If you have capacity, God is saying, keep on growing your capacity, so that you can enter a frequency where you can be getting things at the level that is beyond those that do not have a soul that is developed.

So, please let us stop the habit of coming to Church and think Christianity is all about your Spirit. No! It’s about the totality of your being, you cannot be a spiritual giant and an emotional dwarf. You can’t come into Church and you’re intellectually deficient, Christianity is not for dull people. So, you have to be intelligent, the Bible says you must have a ready answer for those that ask you the basis of your faith.

So, we need to understand that, so that we don’t just come to church and all we do is just prayers, ignorance is not a demon, you can’t cast it out. Nobody is saying there is a problem with prayer, but there are some things in life that cannot happen by prayer. Prayer is not the master key, no scripture said that. Prayer is a key, there are many other keys. So, there is nothing wrong with prayer. But in order for you to enter the fullness of God, you have to under all the keys that are available. ChurchGist. I hope you know that we are all blind. Nobody sees, eyes don’t see, if they switch off all the light here now, we will not see anything. Why? Because your eyes don’t see, the only reason why your eyes see is because there is a reflection from light. In Him was life and the life was the light of men and the light shine in darkness and darkness could not comprehend Him. So, everyone that lacks the light of knowledge and understanding is blind and to the degree of your ignorance is the degree of your darkness. So, every time you come to Church, you’re enlightened. The Bible says they behold Him and they were enlightened.

Please, let us develop our soul, let’s buy books, let’s buy tapes, let us not just come to Church and scream and jump and shout and then you’re not doing what you need to do, you cannot be anointed to prosper.

The anointing is powerful and tangible but if it meets with zero knowledge, whatever you multiply by zero equals zero. You cannot be anointed to drive; you can’t be anointed to be a medical doctor or to become a pilot. Why? There is a knowledge base that has to be in place, that is the development of the soul. ChurchGist. As powerful as our father in the Lord is, Pastor E A Adeboye, if all of us gets to the airport now on our way to Abuja and we arrived at the airport and the pilot is sick and Baba said no problem, what God cannot do does not exist, I’m going to fly you to Abuja and Baba takes over the plane to become the pilot, how many of you will remain on the flight? Is it that he is not holy? No! Because in this world, you cannot just say I’m just born again and I’m cool, you’ve got to develop yourself.

Number two, there is a confusion that ought not to be there, except for the fact that many of us don’t read our Bible, we have this confusion of the grace movement and the law movement. Anything that you don’t understand just keep quiet or ask questions, stop talking anyhow. No man of God is God, he is a man of God, the greatest of all man is a man at its very best. That is why you need to know God for yourself. ChurchGist. I told you yesterday, God does not have grandchildren, we all have equal access to God. The Word of God is opened for you to see God yourself. So, after the pastor has said it, go back home as a real Christian and say what saith the Lord, so that God can open your eyes.

Listen, there is nobody on earth that can live without the law, I don’t know about any other Kingdom but in this Kingdom where I have been a minister for 33 years, it is not a lawless Kingdom. For somebody to say we are not under the law is a foul, the question is which law? Romans 8:1-2. There is a law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. You’re delivered from one law into another law, it is called the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus and guess what it’s a more dangerous law.

So, all this lawlessness, I can live anyhow is a foul. Guess what? The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus existed from Genesis 1 before there was any law. John 1:17. The law came by Moses but grace and truth came by Jesus.

Question. When Joseph refused to sleep with Potiphar’s wife what law was he obeying? There was no written law against adultery but there was a law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, that is based on intimacy with God, not connection to a Church. Joseph said I will not do this great wickedness, how is it wickedness? Where did you read it? What verse of the scripture? It didn’t exist then, there was no scripture against adultery but there was a law at work in a man that has intimacy with God; and God was able to put in his spirit, what belongs to another man, don’t touch. I will not do this great wickedness and sin against my God. ChurchGist. Genesis 8, when Noah came out of the ark, what Church was Noah attending, what Church was Cain and Abel attending where they taught them about first fruit, where they taught them about tithe and giving? Nothing, they were not going to any Church, they didn’t have a pastor but they have a God. The problem with today is we have pastors; we have churches but we don’t have God.

When you have God, you won’t argue with giving because when you have God you will know that everything you have belongs to Him, 10 per cent is an insult. Who was Abraham’s pastor? Who was Noah’s pastor? Noah came out of the ark; he came out and saw dead bodies and He thanked God for mercies. He asked, who am I? Only myself and my family are alive, this is a high mercy level and Noah took! Nobody told him, nobody called him, nobody forced him, relationship compelled him. ChurchGist. For God so loved the world that He gave. For we so love him that we give. And Noah gave and God smelt something, question if he didn’t give, was God smelling something?

When Abraham brought tithe to Melchizedek, God did not say go and carry it and give to him, Melchizedek did not say Abraham bring the tithe, Abraham had a relationship with God, he had an understanding and the Bible says and Abraham gave, Abraham did not pay tithe, he gave tithe.

Are you ready now?

Having laid that foundation.

1. God is your source.
2. The Kingdom is the purpose.
3. Kingdom wealth is entrusted not acquired.
4. Addiction to the Kingdom is a trigger for Kingdom wealth.
5. Uncompromising obedience to covenant obligation releases the blessings. So, in this Kingdom if you want to manifest Kingdom wealth, you don’t argue with covenant obligation, in this Kingdom if you want to manifest Kingdom wealth, you have to align yourself with the Kingdom culture of giving, with the Kingdom culture of covenant obligation. ChurchGist. There are about 15 obligations expected of every Child of God, so get the book, the pathway to wealth, they are listed there. But because of the brevity of time, let me give you a crash course.
6. First fruit. Proverbs 3:9-10. The first of everything belongs to God, not only money, when you wake up in the morning what is the first thing you should do? Pray. First day of the week, first day of the month, so, it’s not only about money. Romans 11:16. So the first is based on the principle of representation, go to the east, go to different cultures, they have new yam festivals, they have festivals where they say the first one that came out, we recognize that it is not by our power, it is not by our ability to farm. We are bringing it to you as the first.

So, it is called the first fruit. It is not a law, it is a covenant obligation of love to those who acknowledge that God is their source, if God is not your source you don’t need to do it, it is not for everybody. It is a law of representation, once one is taken, it covers for all.

2. Tithe. Genesis 14. Abraham gave tithe of all to Melchizedek, tithe of all. Abraham did not pay tithe; he gave tithe and when Abraham existed there was no law. So, anyone that told you that tithing as to do with the law is deceiving you, tithe had nothing to do with the law because the law did not come until Moses. Moses was not there when Abraham was bringing the tithe. ChurchGist. The only reason why they were now commanded to pay tithe is because when they left and went to Egypt, they forgot God and they started doing other things and when they came out of Egypt, He now told them, return to me, how do we return? The tithe and the offering you’re supposed to bring, you need to return to the original intention. Tithe is an act of worship; it is a seed you sow in honour of the fact that God is your source and you acknowledge it.

Listen and listen well, one of the challenges with the Church is that, they are telling you to bring 10 per cent but nobody is telling you what to do with the remaining 90 per cent. So, because there is no financial intelligence and nobody is telling you what to do with the remaining 90 per cent, you bring the 10 and by your financial illiteracy and financial irresponsibility you mess up the 90 and turn around to blame the Church, that it is the 10 that was collected that made you poor. Foul!

Listen, 10 per cent is not the problem, lack of understanding is the problem, so if you have 100,000 how much is your 10 per cent, 10, 000. Are you telling me 10,000 is your problem? No! When you go to the cinema with the girls to have a girls’ day outing or you go to the movie with the boys to have a boy’s day out. What is 10,000? It cannot even buy correct fish with correct Chapman. ChurchGist. You know to get some shawarma and some chips, 10k will not work. So, 10, 000 is nothing, when you’re in the restaurant you spend it without thinking, when you enter the salon to fix your eyelashes and nails and every other thing, 10, 000 is nothing. When you’re in the salon it is nothing, when you’re in the restaurant it is nothing but when you put 10,000 in an envelope it suddenly becomes something. Why? Whatever God places a demand on becomes a point of contention. It is not the 10,000, it is the fact that you don’t understand that every time God places a demand on something, it has left the realm of money, it has entered the realm of spirit, it is no more about the money, it is mammon versus God.

You’re saying pastor what are you talking about? You too think about it. You can go a whole day without eating and you’ll be fine but once we declare fasting, 8am you will wake up very hungry, is the problem food. No! Once we declare fasting, it is no more food, it is an altar. So, all this argument about tithe and offering, the devil knows the power of the altar, he knows the power of having something that speaks for you, they want to silence your voice. ChurchGist. Religion without sacrifice is a fraud; nobody can ever become rich without giving. From Elon Musk to Bill Gates to Warren Buffett, they are the greatest, they may not call it tithe but they give. You’re contending for a contract with someone that has opened the womb of a pregnant woman, brought out a 3-month baby and grinded it with black pepper and has been bathing in it for 3 months and then you didn’t fast nor pray and you didn’t give. Then you wake up to say, I’m a child of God, I am cool, oma ku ni (you will die).

Listen, there are voices that speak in Heaven, that court that the man of God was speaking about, the court in Heaven, there are voices that sit on the table to speak.

There are 5 voices that speak in Heaven.

1. The voice of Worship.
2. The voice of prayer.
3. Service
4. The voice of the Blood.

The Bible says the Blood of Abel your brother is crying out to me, every time you go to work and you labour, you’re labouring with your blood, when they give you money, that money is a representation of your sweat, tears and your blood. Every time you bring that money as a seed upon the altar, you’re shedding blood, it begins to speak for you in the realm of the spirit. What voice is speaking for you?

The seed of every fruit is the poisonous part and the reason why the seed is poisonous is because the chemical mechanism and infrastructure for the perpetuation of that fruit and tree is always in the seed. So, every time you get a fruit, you’re to eat the fruit and sow the seed, you don’t eat seed because when you eat the seed you eat the future. So, for everyone that gets an income, a portion of that income is called the tithe, it is the poisonous part, when you eat it; it hurts you, when you release it; it blesses you. So, it’s not a debt that you owe, it is a seed that you sow. ChurchGist. If God is not your source don’t tithe, if you’re a self-made man, keep your money. But if God is your source the entire 100 per cent belongs to Him but He said bring me 10 per cent in acknowledgement of the fact that I am your source and I will redeem the 90 and give you wisdom on how to continue.

The first point is the first fruit, the second is the tithe. The third point is offering. The Bible says thou shall not come into the present of the Lord empty handed; you cannot just show up. The man of God quoted, the gift of a man makes room for him, it is not just about the ability to sing alone. Deuteronomy 16:16-17. Luke 6:37-38. Judge not, one of the reasons why many people find it difficult to give is because they have already judged the Church and the man of God, you have already judged them saying they are after our money. So, why will you bring money to somebody that you think is a thief, when you’re not a fool. So, it didn’t say give alone. It says firstly, judge not, don’t judge every man of God as fake, fake is a proof of originality, if there is no original, there will be no fake. The genuine ones are now becoming victims of the fake ones, you have no idea the price of ministry but God has structured the Kingdom in such a way that the different covenant obligation is the income dimension of ministry because whether you’re in Church or not, the Church will buy diesel, whether you’re in Church or not salaries will be paid.

The second thing in Luke 6: 37 is that condemn not and you shall not be condemned, what does it mean, you’ve already condemned all the men of God and all the Churches, so somebody you have condemned; will you give money to them. So, it says judge not, condemn not, forgive. Why did it say we should forgive? There are actually fake men of God, charlatans, people that are food for belly and belly for food. ChurchGist. They have used the scriptures and they have used their position to manipulate and destroy people’s life, they have told you that you cannot see me until you seed me. So, for you to see them you must seed them and if you don’t seed them, you can’t see them. They have made the Church the highest bidder, the front row for the highest giver, why? So, because some people have experienced all these charlatans, God is now saying don’t judge the future by the past, forgive, the last one deceived you, this one is not a deceiver.

They said No one can do all this mighty thing except God is with him, when you come to this place you don’t need to doubt that God is here, everyone whose life has changed is a proof that God is here, the Bible now says you can now give.

So, judge not, condemn not, forgive then give. Until you do the first three, giving will be a problem for you, then He now says give and it shall be given unto you, it went further and say with the same measure that you measure it shall be measured back to you. Listen, if you appear before the ocean, the ocean is not aware, of you appear before the ocean with a drum, the ocean is not aware, if you appear before the ocean with a tank, the ocean is not aware, you’re the one that is aware of what you took, the ocean is always an ocean. So, God will not go down when everybody becomes rich, if everybody here gets 1 billion each, it does not reduce or increase God. God is God, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. So, whatever you get is a function of what you brought to the table. So, if you’re always giving sparingly, you will reap sparingly, when you’re always giving bountifully you will reap bountifully. You cannot come to church and say after all I have given my tithe; I can give anything as my offering. No sir, offering is not just anything because you cannot sow on one plot and expect to reap the same thing as someone that sowed on 10 acres, the measure of your seed determines the measure of your harvest.

You know the problem with many of us because we compare ourselves with people, the faeces of an elephant can never be compared to the faeces of a chicken, some of you are like an elephant yet your faeces is like that of a chicken, elephant is so big that even his faeces is so big. So, when you come to Church you don’t give like a poor man, you give based on level. You cannot be earning #1,000,000 or #500,000 a month and when it’s offering time, you’re dropping #500, like someone earning #30,000, it is an error, with the same measure that you measure it shall be measured back to you.

So, number one is first fruit, number two is tithe, number three is offering. Number four, sacrifice. In this Kingdom there are things that will never happen until you pray but there are things that won’t happen until you add fasting to your prayer. There are also some things that won’t happen if you pray and fast until a seed is sown. So, sacrifice is another level. ChurchGist. I told you about the general blessings, the added blessings and the sure blessings. The sure blessings of God are for those that understand the power of sacrifice. Genesis 22, the Lord spoke to Abraham and placed a demand on his son, his only son, the son he loves. Sir, I thought Abraham had two children, Abraham had only one child. Abraham gave birth to Ishmael and Isaac. So, God is saying to Abraham I don’t want the child of your sinful nature, I want the child that you love, your only son, because if what you’re giving is not something that is dare to you, it is not a sacrifice, a sacrifice must leave a vacuum in your life when it exits your life. So, God demanded for Isaac, so guess what? And Abraham took Isaac and was going towards the altar. Question, Abraham was in his 90s, Isaac was a teenager, in the realm of strength Isaac can carry Abraham beat him up and out him on the altar, but when Abraham said Isaac, we are going on a journey, Isaac surrender, because if you’re not in control of your finances you are in error, if your finances are controlling you; you cannot let go of what controls you.

So, Abraham took Isaac and as he was going Isaac was mature enough to understand this Kingdom dynamics, he said excuse me sir, I can see the wood, I can see the knife but excuse me sir where is the sacrifice because the altar is powerless without the sacrifice. It’s when the sacrifice is on the altar that the fire will fall. Where is the sacrifice? ChurchGist. And Abraham looked at Isaac, he said you remember when I was leaving the guys behind, I told them, I’m going with you yonder to worship and to return, this journey is a journey of worship, God will provide Himself the sacrifice, because that was talking about the cross and Jesus, but guess what? Genesis 22:13, when they got to the altar, when he was about to kill Isaac, God said stop, it was only a test, I only wanted to be sure whether you love me enough to let go, because whatever you cannot give has conquered you and God told him look behind, God provided a ram.

So, what does that mean, as Abraham was going to the altar with his Isaac, the provision was coming behind him, everyone that focuses on God and focuses on the Kingdom and the altar, everything they need will be coming behind them. ChurchGist. But the problem with many of us is that we have turn our back on the altar and we are pursuing the ram.

Number five, welfare. Proverbs 28:27. Welfare is not sustenance, welfare is a temporary relief measure to ensure that things don’t go bad, because one of the things we have seen now is that the Church is being blackmailed with welfare, oh give to this, give to that. You can give rice and give food and everything and people will still go to hell because salvation does not come by welfare and palliatives. ChurchGist. To him that has shall more be given, to him that has not even that which he has shall be taken. So, there is nobody that does not have. You think you don’t have but there are things you have but many keep saying I don’t have and that’s why you don’t have, because you will continue to use your mouth to call bad things upon yourself.

When you understand the prosperity of the soul, there are faculties of success that God has embedded in the soul, the imagination, the thought, the expectation, the confession, this faculties are free of charge, you don’t need money to expect, you don’t need money to imagine, you don’t need money to confess, everything that God says to you is free, you’re using your mouth to confess evil, your mind to expect and imagine evil. You’re using your hand to do yourself.

So, whether you’re an individual, a family, a church or an organization, every day, every week, every month, you must have a system in place where something flows from you to those that are less privileged because when you give down, it guarantees that you will not go down.

You solidify your ground, he that gives to the poor, lends to the poor and God will repay, he that closes his ears to the cry of the poor, he also will and shall not be heard.

Number five, Vows. Let me cool down for a while, I can hear in the spirit, somebody is saying all of these, it is too much to pay, how much giving are we going to give. Let me help you understand. ChurchGist. How many of you are here and you pay rent? Now, apart from rent, are there any people that don’t pay for airtime, electricity or food. Can you see that we are all still paying everything? The same you will pay for rent; rent is for the shelter, it’s not for food. So, you can pay rent and die of hunger in a house you paid for because what rent will do is to give you a shelter, but the same you will look for another money to settle food so that you will eat, the same you that has a roof over your head and you’re eating, you will look for another money to recharge your phone, that is why we are here to be recharged because God does not need recharging, God is ever charged, we are here for Him to charge us and recharge us. Listen, it is the same you, if you have a car, you will buy fuel, but you don’t complain, landlord will collect his own, school will collect their own but when you now come to Church, you’ll say I have given tithe, all this one they are talking about I don’t understand, all this offering is too much. No! On that offering envelope, every giving is a window to something the other window cannot take you to.

So, all these things we are looking at now, some of you all your life, you have never done some of them and that is why you don’t know what is on the other side of your obedience, because until you do it you never know what you’re missing. Somebody say vow. What is a vow? A vow is an invitation from humanity to divinity into a covenant. When you’re bringing a vow, you’re bringing God into a covenant, you’re saying God if you do this, I would do this, that is a vow. It is not God telling you to do anything, it is you saying I need something that will shift things, when Hannah waited for a child and there was no child coming, she activated a vow, she said Lord give me a son and I’ll give you a prophet. I see a need in your house, there is no prophet, I will be the one that will carry a prophet for you. Lord, give me a son, I will return him to you as a prophet just for them to know that this woman can bear a child and God answered. ChurchGist. Every time you come to God from a covenant of vow, God has no choice but to move in order to show you that He is ever faithful, we are the unfaithful.

Jephthah said as I am going to this battle, if you can allow me to win, Lord, the first that comes out, I will offer to you and guess what? When Jephthah returned, the first that came out was his daughter not his wife. The guy was probably calculating, let this woman come and be going away with her problems, let this woman come, let me sow her as a seed and move on with my life, but the daughter came out and he shouted and he told the daughter of his vow, I have to let it go. There is something about a vow, when you make a vow to God there is a shift, let me give you a revelation. A prophet went to a city one day and a woman saw the prophet and said this is the holy man of God and the woman created a room for the prophet and then the prophet kept coming and he was sleeping in that room. One day the prophet said this woman cannot bless us like this, let us bless her in return and then he asked what can we do for her? And he was told that she does not have a child. The woman stood at the edge of the door, she didn’t enter, because when she said this man is a holy man of God, it is because she has encountered so many unholy men of God that will want to do it by themselves and the man of God said by this time next year you will have a child, she said don’t lie to me, I blessed you because you’re a prophet, he said no, by my word you’ll have a child. The next year she had a child.

The child grew up, one day the child was in the field with his father and he feel sick and the father said take this child to his mother, it is her and the prophet that knows where they have seen the boy, so they brought the child and the mother took the child to the bed she had made for the prophet and then she went to the prophet, the prophet said hello, are you fine. She said it is well, is it well with your family, she said it is well, is it well with your boy, she said it is well.

Then she came close to the prophet and said the boy, he said no problem and the prophet sent Gehazi to go with a rod of authority but not everyone that is with you is with you. The Bible says they left us that it might be evident that they were never with us, I made that mistake, I call everybody my son and daughter, until they almost kill me, then I knew everybody is not your son or daughter, some people come into your ministry as a student and once they have graduated, they have gone. How many of you have called your lecturer since you graduated, when you were there, you loved them but after you graduated you say lecturer. Some people are servants, they come to serve after they have served, they have gone, how many of you have gone back to your Youth service place. No! Some people cake to sabotage your work. Only a few people are sons. Gehazi was with Elisha but Gehazi was not a son he was Elisha’s servant, he came there to serve, he was in line for the tetra portion of Elijah’s anointing but he couldn’t get it. So, when Elisha gave him the rod thinking that he can do what he has been trained to do, by the time Gehazi got there because his heart was not connected to the source of the grace, when he put the rod on the boy, the boy died the second death. The man of God had to come by himself and lay down on the boy to bring him back from second death to first death and then call him forth alive but what you did not understand is that the woman made a vow, she said Lord if you can bring this boy back to life, he will serve you all his life. So, that boy had a vow on his head. Fast forward to Jonah, because many of you did not know that the boy is Jonah. So, the mother placed a vow upon his head no matter what, you have died before you will only serve God, then God now came, it is time to collect my vow.

Jonah, your mother placed you on the altar as a vow, Jonah go to Nineveh and go and save them, Jonah said I’m not going, I’m going to Tarshish, every time you go on your own, you will pay your bills and Jonah was on his way to Tarshish and the flood was coming, everything was shaking and the people tried to save him, you can’t save Jonah, you will have to hand them over to God, so that God can do them the way He wants, you can’t intercede for Jonah, the only thing you can do is to hand him over to God. ChurchGist. They lost their property, they lost many things, after a while all the while when they were in trouble, where was Jonah? He was sleeping, people that are troubling you are sleeping, yet you’re moving from mountain to mountain, they now went to him and said wake up and they asked him some questions, where are you from? Where are you going? What is your work? The guy said I’m running from God, so you mean we have been risking our lives for you. So, what do we do now? He said throw me into the ocean, I know my problem. The Bible says the rolled him down, *stop suffering for people’s problem”. You’re not a bad person, if you help some people, God will help you. God is the one dealing with them, they are in the school of Adnoc, can you imagine Nebuchadnezzar that God turned into an animal and you want to turn him into an animal at the pointed time, the Bible says when they threw him into the water.

The Lord has prepared a whale (a private jet) at the bottom waiting for repentance, the very minute they dropped him, the whale came forth and God had instructed the whale to take him to Nineveh, that God already knew that when I show him mercy, he will repent before we get there. When you got to the end part of Jonah 2, the Bible says and while Jonah was in the belly of the fish, he cried unto God. Look at the prayer, oh Lord, I remember my vow and I thank you with the voice of Thanksgiving and the Bible says and the fish vomited him, when he opened his eyes, he was in Nineveh.

God is so merciful, He can lead you round, He will never lead you wrong. He said I will not let you go until I have accomplished what I plan to do in your life. And guess what, when he got to Nineveh, everybody repented including the animal and God had mercy on them, he said that is why I don’t want to go, u already know that it would be a useless venture, after all the preaching you would make me look like a false prophet because you will still forgive them. Now, you’ve forgiven them again, he didn’t understand the power of God’s mercy because that was the mercy that saved him and it is the mercy that will save others.

The next thing is Parental honour. Ephesians 6:1-3. These are covenant obligations that trigger wealth, the same word honour in proverbs 3:9, honour the Lord, is the same word honour in Ephesians 6:1, honour your parents. The honour is equal. ChurchGist. It did not say honour your parents when they are good, it didn’t say honour your parents when they are fantastic parents. It says honour your parents. Honour is not a levy; it is a covenant obligation. So, it is not a levy to say Tinuke is that how you will be seeing your mummy getting hungry, Chinedu, I am dying in the village you have not sent money this month. No!

The Bible says it is the parent that lay off for the children, it is not the children that lays off for the parent. You’re not going to them because they are hungry. It is a Covenant obligation and the Bible calls it the first commandment with a promise, it says honour your father and mother, do that your days will be long, one of the secrets of long life is parental honour. ChurchGist. Every month something should drop to your parents even if it is 5,000 airtime, mummy stay connected, daddy stay connected.

It is not a levy, but to think that, oh that man he didn’t pay my school fees, he is a very bad man, what you sow is what you reap, so honouring your parents. Many of you are in the city and your mother is in the village, still using firewood, ordinary gas you can’t buy for your mother to make life easy for her, your mother is in the village suffering and you’re in the city doing runs and eating and your mother cannot boast of two meals a day. Error! You’re saying you don’t know what I went through. Blah blah, if she didn’t give birth to you; you would not be here. Why do you honour them? Because God uses them as a vehicle to honour you into this world. Anything they do after that is not the reason for the honour, regardless whether they were wicked or not.

Next, Prophet offering, honouring your prophet. Matthew 10: 41. One of the major errors I have seen in the Church today is what I call pastoral abuse, people are using pastors and you begin to wonder, I have seen people that will come into a Church, jobless, wifeless, visionless, carless, everything less and by the grace of God upon the man of God and upon the house, within a 5-7 years period, their story has change and they would not think that this man of God that God has used to bless me, let me bless him back. Do, you know my members gathered together, they have never bought me one suit or one short and they gathered and said all this suit pastor do wear does not fit him, it is too big, they said somebody should tell pastor to be wearing correct fitted suit and they now appoint a woman as their voice, she came and said pastor, all this your suit. I looked at her and I said so you people had a meeting and I called all of them together. ChurchGist. I said, have any of you ever bought me one shirt before? They started looking at themselves. I said the one I bought with my money is not good enough because they don’t understand. If you see that the man is not dressing well, did you give him a suit and he rejected it. No! That was the day they started buying suits.

Because some people don’t know. My first car somebody gave it to me, one thing I have learnt man of God is that, the Bible says you will reap what you sow, it didn’t say you will reap where you sow. Sometimes the greatest blessings of your life will come from outsiders not from insiders because of familiarity. Because as far as they are concerned, is he not the one spending all the offering? So, God blessed me with a car from someone outside and I brought the car to the Church to give testimony. Some members have no shame, one of them said pastor we thank God for your life, now we can be proud to call you, our pastor. True life story, that means all the suffering I have been suffering, all the vigils and prayers, they are not proud of that and they didn’t think of buying me a car.

Listen, by a prophet God brought them out of Egypt, by a prophet they were preserved, when David was going to war, one day he was almost killed, they said, No! No! You’re not going to war anymore, less the light of Israel be quenched, one man the light of a Nation, strike the shepherd the sheep will scatter. Listen, if your pastor and his wife do not have the peace of mind to do this work it is to your loss because of they have to be running helter skelter, oh school fees, I want to send my daughter to Canada, dollar has gone to 620 how would they have time to pray, they would be running around hustling, looking for how to gather money together to take care of their need but when the needs are met, they will have enough time, because they are not thinking about money, because anything that is money matter, God has raised sons and daughters that are taking care of it. Somebody should say sir, don’t worry, your dstv forever will be taken care of by me. Somebody should just say, father about that diesel forget it, somebody else should always load him airtime. ChurchGist. Because when counselling starts, pastor will call you for prayers for 36 minutes and after that you’ll say thank you, who will pay for that airtime. Angel! Is he not a human being, you’re travelling, none of you have thought that let pastor also go for summer and they will tell you, pastor it is your grace o, your grace has given them car, house and other things? You would travel, you won’t get anything for your pastor but when there is trouble in Canada, it is the same pastor that you would be calling.

Go get the book so that you will understand the remaining.

So, from today make an adjustment. Let me answer one question, he that blesses a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward.

What is a prophet’s reward?

1. It is the grace that the prophet carries. The prophet over your life has a grace, when you sow into his life, one of the prophet blessings is that the grace upon his life begins to work for you. Philippians 1:7. Grace can be shared
2. It is whatever the prophet chooses to reward you with based on how pleasing he is with your seed.
3. The desire with which you sowed it. That you said Lord as I am blessing him, do this and that.

When you go after what God has not given you, He will take what He has given you. You know why? In this Kingdom, it is about trust and faithfulness. So, if God gives you little and you’re not faithful with that little and the one He told you not to touch you’re touching it, even the ones He has told you to touch, He will withdraw. Genesis, God gave them a garden and he said, every tree here you’re free to touch, but this particular one don’t touch, the one that He told them not to touch is the exact one, that they went for, because every time God asks for something, that is what the enemy will fight and when they touched it, what did God do, He took the garden from them. ChurchGist. Ahab was a King, every land in his Kingdom belongs to him but there was a land that belongs to a man called Naboth and Ahab said it is that one that I want. When he touched the land of Naboth, God withdrew the throne He gave him.

David and Bathsheba, David had many wives, there were many women in the city, when the King went to war, he decided to stay back because he is a big boy. As a big boy, no more prayer, no fasting, no more evangelism, let the boys be doing that. So, guess what? He stood and saw a woman having her bath, the first look is not a crime, it is the second look that is the problem. When he saw the first time, you are supposed to just go back home and even if the thing enters your body, call one of your wives, tell her let us go to Jerusalem and then you’ll go and worship in the temple, everything will be okay. But when he saw her the first time, he looked at her again, that second look is where the problem started, at that point it is not the devil, some people can lie on the devil, it was you, why don’t you sleep with animals after all they are all walking naked, your sexual organ is your mind. It is not your manhood. If an 87 years old woman is naked, you won’t have an erection, why? Because your mind will tell you there is nothing there.

So, when David saw, he said go and call her to come and you all the story, the very minute he took another man’s wife, God said, your throne is taken away from you. So, every time you touch what God has told you not to touch, He takes what He has given you.

Financial stewardship and management perpetuate Kingdom wealth. God is a God of principles and His intention is not for you to seek miracles every day, His intention is for you to perpetuate principles. So, when you begin to activate all this covenant obligation, what happens is that wealth begins to flow, but as a steward of the wealth, you now have to know how to manage it, when Joseph appeared before Pharaoh, he said 20 per cent of everything that you get in the days of plenty, what did he say? Save it and by the law of saving and compound interest. What you save in the years of plenty will save you in the years of famine. So, if you don’t save, you’re not safe.

The money begins to come in obedience to our covenant obligation, the final point is that you must be a good steward of those resources and manage it well. Because if you make money and make it well you won’t be able to multiply the money. ChurchGist. The money you cannot manage will not multiply in your hands. Save it, invest it and let it multiply. Luke 19:13,23. As God began to bless you with money, put it into business, put it into an investment that will continue to multiply. Pastors may God deliver you from the foolishness of full-time ministry. Listen, I’m a full-time pastor, but your definition of a full-time pastor must be correct or else your life will not be correct. Full time ministry means that the ministry must be your primary assignment not your only assignment. You don’t even go into the full-time ministry until your hands are full. Not these 12 members, 23 members and you’re doing full time, if you’re doing full time, you should have 200 by now, so after 10 years, you only have 13 members and you’re saying you are a full-time pastor. Something is wrong with you. Even if God called you full time, did He call your wife? As money comes from prophet offering and the rest, use that money in business, do books, come up with your own seminars, do tapes, buy land, buy houses, start a school. Start something, let the money work for you, because if you don’t put the money to work it will go. Ecclesiastes 11:1-2. As the money begins to come, activate multiple streams of income as you begin to do that, the money continues to flow.
