Jesus is God’s ordained resting place for all mortal men. Until you come across Jesus, the peace, the joy, the rest, that He offers cannot be yours. They are all offers of kingdom life accessible only through Jesus. It is a journey without a bus stop without Jesus, just going and going and going to and fro. Church Gist. When you are going on a journey as you see the place you are going to, your strength is renewed and conscious of where you are going. May no one here ever trade off Jesus all the days of their life. May the peace and joy that you enjoy today never become history.
Prayers: lift your two hands and ask God for access tonight to what He has in store for us, let there be an entrance of your word into my life and let it lighten my spirit man and empower me for dominion over all the works of darkness. Jesus, I look up to you, the same way you open the heart of Lydia, open my heart tonight to access the next phase of your agenda for my life. Spirit of God help me to gain access to the world that changes people’s story from glory to glory.
Thank you Lord for answering our prayers, thank you for empowering us by your word tonight into the next phase of our life.
Understanding the person and ministry of the Holy Ghost. By now we are all aware the Holy Ghost is not a feeling or a falling, He is not a speech, He is not tongues, The Holy Ghost is a person. This understanding will really help us to maximize His ministry in our lives. John 16:7-8. He is a person in you. John 14:15-17,26. John 16:12-14. We need to understand His personality, He is not a feeling, He is not someone speaking in tongues. We speak in tongues as evidence that we are baptized but we have to keep Him in otherwise we quench Him and He goes out. Not everyone that was baptized in the Holy Ghost is still baptized now. He can be quenched. John 16:13. When we say be baptized in the Holy Ghost, we are saying create room for the Holy Ghost to indwell you. He is God’s ordained helper out of every issue of life. We are helpless with the Holy Ghost. The good thing about Him is that wherever you are if you let Him have your place, He is there with you. You don’t forget your help at home. You are in the air, He is there, on the road, He is there, in the sea He is there. Everybody needs His help. Psalm 108:12. Church Gist. When you are in trouble and you call on somebody else, He is in greater trouble than you, so he can’t help. Can anybody help you in the air not to crash? Nobody can, even the Captain can’t. We need Him, we live in a wildlife world. There are lions here and there, to know the right way to go we need him. Many have gone around some mountains forever because they don’t know the way to go. He is the custodian of God’s agenda for the hour. Everybody needs Him, great and small, young and old. Everybody needs Him. We need this ever-abiding helper. We need the HIM revelation of the Holy Spirit and not see it as a Church doctrine.
Watch this wonderful guide, in the bathroom: arise, get down to Lagos and raise me a people. He shall speak, not that you will guess. He is a speaking Spirit. When He speaks, doubt dies. You hear His voice, it destroys doubt. I was in the car: “rise, get down, the harvest of Africa is now overripe. Rush in and preserve it from decadence”. I was at the door of a friend and He said “seek a quiet place I want to talk to you” and the Liberation Mandate came. what if I never heard? I would have just been roaming up and down. Everybody needs Him, in case you have quenched Him, you better reapply. You are speaking syllables after 20 years of being baptized in the Holy Ghost, no!. You should be speaking interpretable language now. If you are not hearing from Him, sir you are not on key. You better address it properly. We got here in 1987 January when they came to show me this place and I heard Him say as we gave thanks to God for the efforts He has made, I don’t believe this will be the place “this is the place”. Loud, clear, baritonic, ancient voice. He still speaks today. Please give Him room, it is not a church doctrine. He is God’s helper for you and me. We would have messed up if we had taken the Ark Project to where I thought it would be. He said, “I would not have gone there with you”. That means it will just be a statue, people will just settle down here, they won’t go there because He is not there. Imagine that whole effort wasted? That’s why we need Him. No effort in your life will be wasted. You need Him every time. No more guesswork for you. Proverbs 14:12. It seems right but there is death in the pot.
The Lord said to me in 1998 “you will never go to the next phase of your ministry with this woman around”. It was a Pastor’s wife. I called the husband and said that this was what I heard God say. Because what God has joined together let no man put asunder. I told him he needed to leave and the same year, the signal to move to Canaanland came. A city built within one year, you don’t know what you are missing when you lack access to His direction. We are so helplessly helpless without Him. You will just see one business and jump in and lose all you have laboured for in your life because a friend invited you. “as you pastor this one Church” He said to me “The world will become your parish”. It is not normal, one centre church at a lost end of town. He has not said anything to me so nobody can push me to do anything else. I know when I hear Him and I know when I am speaking for myself. Church Gist. It always ends in a very bad way. He said, “it is not me you heard, you heard yourself”. The beauty of it is when God leads, impossible doors open. Iron gates lift up their heads, crooked paths are made straight. They just think you are the one but you are not the one. It is the one who directed you that is backing up His word. Some are just in another man’s field, they just stopped there because they don’t know where they are going. If you don’t know where you are going anywhere will look like it.
Some have directed themselves and they are paying the price day and night. When people talk to me about things and I let them know the little I know. If they know that there is trouble on their path, they won’t go there. Counsel doesn’t seem true except you have depth. You must be flowing about the same frequency to catch it. A man of understanding shall draw not just a man who is walking up and down. One of my sons, the Church he was pastoring closed down and we were a part of it. We prayed for him and were excited about that assignment. He was a Bible School graduate and then after whatever he did, the church closed down. So I asked him what he wanted to be doing now, he said he wanted to be doing Ministers Conference. I said You? What will you tell them? The Bible said when you are converted, strengthen your brethren. You are not converted yet, will you be teaching them to close down churches? He has not allowed me to know where he is now. Proverbs 24:16. Simple, let’s know what led to this and let’s find scriptural solutions to it to bounce back again. Have you seen any wrestling champion that hasn’t fallen once? At times you will think he has died, he will just look around and say God forbid. I won’t give up. While the man is jumping about that he has knocked him out, he just bounces back and throws him down. A believer suffers a challenge and he just stays on the floor, everybody is stepping on him. Church Gist. That’s how precious He is to those who believe and understand His person and ministry, He keeps decorating them. My prayer is that no one will suffer spiritual deafness anymore. I command every spiritual deafness to be healed in the name of Jesus. In 2017, the Lord said to me “don’t you get out of this country until I tell you to do so”. I heard Him clean and clear. I don’t ask Him why, He knows what He is doing. The one who called me has said He is not sending me there so when I get there what do I say that I came by myself.
- The Holy Spirit is the spirit of wisdom.
Always have it behind your mind that everything spirit or Holy Spirit is one. Ephesians 4:4-5. So the Holy Spirit is the spirit of wisdom. Deuteronomy 34:9. Ephesians 1:17 Isaiah 11:1-2. People say what you can’t say because they have seen what you can’t see. When I say one billion demons can’t stand in my way, I know what I am talking about and they know that I know. That spirit opens you up into realms of supernatural insight. 1 Corinthians 2:10. Genesis 41:39. He is a takeover spirit. The Holy Spirit is a spirit of wisdom, you saw Him manifest Himself in Acts 6:1-7. For ministry, wisdom from above never lacks multitude. All the kings of the earth came to hear the wisdom of Solomon. What people came to hear is not the quotation of scriptures, it is the application of it. 2 Peter 3:15. Church Gist. Wisdom from above never lacks an audience whether you are in ministry or industry. The products of wisdom are unique. How much you and I need Him, He is the spirit of wisdom. Mark 6:2. Heaven’s wisdom is the wisdom of mighty works, not mighty words. Not people just speaking plenty of grammar and no changes in the lives of people. Psalm 104:24. You are going with the wisdom of mighty works tonight, He will turn you into a surprise to yourself. The issues you used to struggle with will just come simple and open.
- The Holy Spirit is the spirit of vengeance.
More often than not, until vengeance shows up, the wicked never give up. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of vengeance. Ananias and Sapphira were out to corrupt the move of the Holy Ghost and He hacked them down. Elymas was trying to resist the Deputy from hearing the gospel, the Holy Ghost came upon Paul and he was blind for a season. The spirit of vengeance clears the way for you to fulfill God’s agenda for your life. Romans 12:19. Don’t try to work it out, just call on the God of vengeance to take care of it. Isaiah 63:4. God cannot establish His plan and purpose without releasing vengeance on the opposition that won’t let you get there. You need the spirit of vengeance to secure our place in God’s agenda. Church Gist. Isaiah 61:2. There are wicked forces behind the difficult situations of your life. Isaiah 61:2-3. Vengeance always sets the pace for a believer’s change of story. Therefore every agent of the devil that is lined up by the wicked one against your glorious destiny in Christ. They all come under vengeance today. That is a major feature of the latter rain – vengeance. Psalm 94:1-7. That’s why we call on Him, Spirit of God manifests yourself in the realm of vengeance, stop this siege against my life. Stop this siege against the land. No Micky Micky Christianity has a future. Quit ye yourselves and fight. We are in a fight not in a play. Ephesians 6:12.
- The Holy Spirit is the seal of our protection
Psalm 105:15, Ephesian 1:13. He is our seal of protection. Touch not package. Don’t come near, I am here and I am the God of vengeance. Luke 10:17. Acts 1:8. He is our seal of protection. We all need it in this wicked world. Church Gist. As a pastor, I have heard too many stories of innocent people being rough handled by the enemy. Innocent people, a number of them are believers. He will just run your years, year in year out afflictions. No more! - The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Obedience.
Obedience is the gateway to a world of blessings. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. Ezekiel 36:27. He enables our obedience to every commandment of scriptures and that is the gateway to a world of blessings. There is no way a natural man will accept to move a church here, it requires help from above. And not to have anyone in town, That is a tall order. That is where He comes in. “I said so, leave me to it”. There was no way natural Abraham would carry his son that he waited for 25 years and be heading for where he would slaughter him. You need help. The obedience of don’t go out, don’t come in is simple. When it comes to an instruction that is as hard as what Abraham had and you still step out fresh, not sweating, not panting and you are as natural as you are. Then you have that help. That is the helper beyond your power. You get to a point where certain things are beyond your power so you need His power to scale through. How can a leader say go forward to the Red Sea, this man is mad oh. They went and the sea parted. You must be out of the flesh. That you heard from God is not enough, can you say it to the people that God said we should go forward. That’s where the Holy Spirit comes in, in the realm of obedience. To help you and I pleasurably obey God, to joyfully obey God without any coercion or external encouragement or discouragement. When you see a man arguing against the truth, He needs that help. Inside he knows that it is true because it is written in the word. It means he has come to the end of his power so he needs the Helper. Everybody needs help. I was going for one seminar in the East and inside the car, He said I should tell them “far be it from me that I the Almighty God will depend on their wretched purses. Church Gist. Your wretched purses depend on me for replenishing”. So when I got there, I said thank you for the privilege of inviting me to come, God said I should tell you. It is a group of sponsors of ministries. God said I should cut them to size first before teaching them and I told them exactly what He said. None of them left oh, they stayed. I was there for three days and they stayed. I said God told me don’t raise money, raise men. If you raise men you will have more money than you need for ministry. We have not been part of that race. All this while we are having a nice time by standing where He says to stand. Psalm 112. The blessings are too many, you become fear-free, and you are just enjoying yourself through the backing of your obedience. No attack can impact on your life walking in delightsome obedience.
Something came very strong, that you are baptized in the Holy Spirit does not guarantee your continuous fellowship with the Holy Spirit. You can grieve Him and you can quench Him. If you don’t stop grieving Him, you end up quenching Him. He is a treasure that calls for being jealously guarded. You can talk Him away from your life by talking chaff. “Oboy the way things are happening now in this country, nobody can find his way out” and the way out is inside you. You can quench Him with your words. Rough life, integrity failure. You just grieve Him until He disappears. Many are baptized in the Holy Ghost that needs to be rebaptized now, they know so. When they speak in tongues it is a burden. To thyself be true.
Prayers: Holy Ghost come afresh on my life. I need to be hearing you like everyone else is hearing you. Pray in the Spirit, stir Him up from within. I don’t want to grieve you, I don’t want to quench you. I need your help.
Someone came to me today that I used to know many years ago. He said it is not long ago I repented that prosperity is not evil, he was there at the commissioning of this ministry. A bona fide Christian but he didn’t know. He is just knowing now. Somebody said to me, forty years ago you were talking about these things but I am just reading Hagin’s books for the first time. I didn’t know it was like this. Now that you know, don’t let this season pass you by. Holy Spirit I have turned my life to Jesus, I need you for this journey. Church Gist. No one laid hands on me to get filled with the Holy Ghost, a thirst brought me to this realm. Don’t let this season pass you by without your encounter with the power of God. Nothing stirs a man like knowledge. When the Holy Ghost lives your spiritual life it becomes a struggle. You are getting there. Grace to quench Him and end up like a carcass again, receive it today.
- This cloud of glory will not leave anyone behind.
- We shall all be open beneficiaries of this wave of glory.
Among the blessings of kingdom advancement endeavour is long life. Exodus 23:25-26. Next Sunday the Lord will put in your hand, the key to a good old age. It shall not just stop with you but continue to your generations after you. No one will die young in your family. God’s Word is the key to God’s blessings so come prepared with a heart, ready to go home with the key of a good old age after the order of Abraham. Church Gist. Money can’t buy that but it is a free offer for those who seek after God as you do.
