REAPING IS A HARDER WORK COMPARED TO SOWING.
GOD IS NOT GOING TO WASTE HIS ANOINTING ON A MAN WHO WILL WIN SOULS AND NOT FOLLOW THEM UP.
IT IS EASIER TO GIVE BIRTH TO A BABY THAN TO TAKE CARE OF THE BABY TILL HE/SHE BECOME AN ADULT.
GOD WILL NOT GIVE HIS ANOINTING TO SOMEBODY WHO IS SLOTHTFUL.
IT TAKES HARDER WORK TO REMAIN A CHAMPION THAN TO BECOME ONE.
IF YOU ARE NOT READY FOR HARD WORK PLEASE DO NOT PRAY FOR THE ANOINTING.
WHEN YOU ARE ANOINTED, EVERYTHING YOU TOUCH WILL BECOME ANOINTED

Praise the Lord!
We will continue with our series, Going Higher, now we are in part 67, Going Higher (67). 1st Kings 19:18-19. Last Sunday we stressed the need for diligence, that while God is sovereign, He can do whatever He likes but He insists on diligence. ChurchGist. So, if you’re ever going to get to great heights in God, you must get ready for hard work. This is because every good thing demands hard work, whether you believe it or not, for example, 2nd Corinthians 9:6, if we sow bountifully, we will reap bountifully, what does that mean? Sowing bountifully is a hard work, ask any farmer. If we are going to sow on a large farm, then we are going to work hard.
But do you know that reaping bountifully is harder work. Harvesting is harder compared to sowing. Why? Because there is a time limit for harvesting, if you don’t harvest in the time limit, the fruit will rot. ChurchGist. Reaping is harder work compared to sowing. My prayer is that your harvest will be great and God will give you the grace to be able to bring in the harvest.
When Peter cast his net and caught so much fish that he couldn’t carry it alone into his boat, he sent for others to come and help him, that is double hard work. Proverbs 12:27. The lazy man will not roast the meat he caught while hunting. You know what that means? It takes hard work to hunt and harder work to prepare what you’ve caught so that it will rot, God is not going to waste His anointing on a man who will win souls and not follow them up. ChurchGist. Soul winning is an easy job compared to following them up till they become mature, that is why some people prefer the work of an Evangelist to that of a Pastor, you’ll just get up there, Jesus says, amen. He heals, amen, He loves you, amen, He has sent me to you, today is your day of salvation, amen. You want to give your life to Jesus, come forward, amen. The people will come and then the evangelist packs his load and disappears, leaving the pastor to do the hard work of new converts in training, moving them from there to workers in training, watching over them until they can stand on their own feet. It is easier to give birth to a baby than to take care of the baby till they become an adult. Ask those people who are family people? They will tell you the work of a mother over her children never ends, by the time the children are becoming mothers, the grandma’s work has just started.
God will not give His anointing to somebody who is slothful. Proverbs 18:9. God describes the lazy man as a waster, He won’t waste His anointing on you if you’re lazy. ChurchGist. That is why I am hammering the issue of hard work and diligence. It takes hard work to become a champion. I used to be a boxer, I told you that, I don’t look like one now, if I box now, I only box the devil. It takes harder work to remain a champion than to become one. When you’re struggling to become the champion, you would stretch yourself, you’ll do road walk, you’ll wake early, while everybody is sleeping, you’re running everywhere, you’re shadow boxing, you’re doing everything, then you’ll become the champion. Congratulations! From that day onward, everybody will be pursuing your crown and you know yourself, if you have any sense at all, that it is better never to be a champion at all than to be an ex-champion, the pain of an ex-champion is not the bruises on his body, it is the shame of you walking on the street and those that have been calling you champion, when they see you coming and they will turn their face away from you. I pray for all of you that are listening to me, you will reach the top and God will give you the grace to stay on top. It is going to require hard work.
The anointed cannot afford to be lazy. Isaiah 61:1-3. God did not anoint Isaiah to sit down and fold his arms. No! But to preach the good news. Acts 1:8. You may start at Jerusalem but you’re going to go to Judaea and then you will proceed to Samaria and then to the outermost part of the world. Anointing is not for laziness, it is for hard work, you’re to preach. You’re to heal. Mark 16:18. Matthew 8:14-18. The moment you have a healing gift, crowd will come. Jesus healed Peter’s mother-in-law and in the evening, they brought all those who are sick and demon possessed, the news spread and people began to come. My Lord Himself, when He saw the multitude, when the crowd became overwhelming, He dodged, He had to go somewhere else.
You want anointing and you’re not ready for hard work. You have a lot to do, you will preach, you will heal, you will comfort the broken hearted, anybody in any form of trouble will call on you, you’re to set the captives free, all the people with demons will be paying you constant visit and if you know what casting out demons means, it means in Ephesians 6:12, it means to wrestle with the forces of darkness. Is wrestling for the lazy? You’ll be setting captives free. ChurchGist. Jesus Christ was anointed. Acts 10:38. But in Mark 6:31. He had to tell the disciples, hey, let us take a break, because they became so busy, there wasn’t enough time to eat. Anointing is not for lazy people, I’m not saying it to frighten you people, I’m saying it to get you prepared. Because even before today is over, someone is going to get anointed. I told you, at least some of you have heard me saying it before, when the Bible says covet earnestly the best gift. Covet gifts! I want double the anointing on Elijah, Paul, Peter and even the anointing of the Lord Jesus Christ when He was here on earth, I want everything in double and I told you what God told me, He said, they won’t let you rest. You’re asking for a dangerous thing, they won’t let you rest. I said I don’t mind.
One of my sons was asking me not too long ago, oh Daddy I heard that you travelled abroad, I said yes. What for? I said I went on vacation. He said vacation, I said yes. He asked, how many sermons did you preach on your vacation? Not many, may be just 2 in England and then we moved on to have convention in Europe. He then said is that really a vacation? I said yes. If you are not ready for hard work please don’t pray for the anointing. Anointing is not for lazy people. Get that clear, I’m talking to you because you’re growing higher.
There is something else that follows, which is very exciting, which is something that I want to share with you today. As Elijah was passing by Elisha, he cast his mantle upon him. I want to talk to you about a brush with fire. Malachi 4:2. Healing in His wings, I pray that the healing wings of God will brush you today. ChurchGist. Anything that the Holy Spirit has touched has been touched by fire and it will change permanently. Exodus 3:1-5. The fire of God touched that backside of the desert and God called it a holy ground from that moment onward. Moses take off your shoes, where you’re standing now is a holy ground. God touched an ordinary soil and it became a holy ground. ChurchGist. How holy was the ground? Exodus 4:1-20. Moses, what is in your hand? Rod. Throw it on the ground, he did, as soon as the rod touched the ground it became a serpent, the rod has touched a holy ground. ChurchGist. By the time you get to verse 20, the Bible says Moses left for Egypt, he took somethings and also he took the rod of God in his hand, the rod of the shepherd had turned into the rod of God, because that rod had touched the holy ground.
There is something there that you might not notice. When Moses threw that rod down and it became a serpent and the Lord said to him, pick up the serpent by the tail, as he was picking the serpent, his own hand touches the Holy ground and it was no longer an ordinary hand, you don’t believe me read Exodus 17: 8-13. When there was war between the people of Israel and the Amalekites and Moses went to the hilltop. ChurchGist. As long as he raised his hands the children of Israel were prevailing, when he got tired, the other people began to win, there were two people with him, Aaron and Hur, they had four hands, Moses had only two, but they knew hands are the not same, the hands that has touched the holy ground is different from an ordinary hand. I’m praying that today you’re going to have a brush with fire, that even your hands will no longer be ordinary.
His hands had become hands that can now transmit wisdom. Deuteronomy 34:9. Joshua was full of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. 2nd Kings 4:38-41. The sons of the prophet were hungry, Elisha told his servant, alright let us do some cooking for the boys, but somebody has gone out and brought with him a poisonous fruit and it was cut into the food, when the people tried to eat the food, they discovered that the food was poisonous, Elisha said, bring me some flowers, since when did flowers become an antidote to poison? When an already flower touches an anointed hand, it becomes something else. ChurchGist. Like I was telling my children in Europe not too long ago, the Power of God turns an ordinary into an extraordinary. John 9:1-7. When Jesus saw a man who was born blind, the Bible says He spat on the ground, made some mud out of it and anointed his eyes, ordinary mud can become anointed mud, it all depends on whose hand the mud is. He anointed the eyes and brand new eyes were formed. Judges 15:14-15. The Bible tells us that when they brought Samson to the Philistines, as soon as the Philistines began to rejoice, the fire of God came upon Samson, the rope that bound him were burnt as if they came in contact with fire, there is an invisible fire and because that fire came on him, he took the jawbone of an ass, an ordinary jawbone of an ass, the jawbone of an animal that has died and it became a weapon of mass destruction. When you’re anointed, everything you touch will become anointed. Mark 5:25-34. The Bible talks about healing through the helm of the garment of the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 5:14-16. The shadow of Peter was healing the sick. Acts 19:11-12. Even the handkerchief of Paul was healing the sick.
You need a brush with the fire of God and you can get it today, because if you get it and it’s available, Matthew 3:11, the promise is that Jesus Christ will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire, if you get it, things will change and you need it, why? Because you never can tell when the enemy wants to strike. Judges 14:5-6. Samson was going down to Timnah, all of a sudden, a Lion roared at him and fire came on him, you know the rest of the story. ChurchGist. You need that touch with fire just Incase the enemy decides to roar and you can tell the enemy, I am more than ready for you. You need that fire because as you’re growing in the Lord, there is bound to be resistance from the enemy and you will need the fire to uproot obstacles. Acts 13:6-12. Paul was preaching to a Governor and the Governor was listening but a sorcerer was distracting the attention of the Governor, fire came and Paul uprooted the obstacle. I’m going to ask you to cry for a brush of the Heavenly fire today, so that from now on, your work in the ministry will become much easier.
Before we begin to pray that God’s fire should fall, you need to know that if the fire of God falls, if it falls on those who do not belong to Him, it will consume them, but if it falls on those who belong to Him, it empowers them. Daniel 3:19-30. So, before we ask the fire to fall, if you’re not on the side of God already, please cross over, surrender your life to Jesus Christ, so that He can baptize your life with Holy Ghost and fire too. ChurchGist. If you’re standing by when the fire begins to fall and you’re not on the side of the Lord, the result might not be very pleasant, so I appeal to you to please surrender your life to Jesus now.
