I WAS POSSESSED WITH SPIRITUAL FIRE TILL A VISIBLE SPIRITUAL FIRE LANDED ON MY CHEST.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR LIFETIME CHASING THINGS THAT DO NOT MATTER.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR LIFE DOING BOYFRIEND AND GIRLFRIEND WHEN YOU ARE NOT YET LICENSED TO THINK OF GETTING MARRIED.
UNTIL YOU HAVE THE CONTROL OF YOUR FLESH, YOU CANNOT HAVE THE CONTROL OF YOUR FUTURE.

Father, thank you for everything you’ve done among us in this youth conference, blessed be your name, honour to your name, adoration to your name, be glorified Lord. In Jesus name we have prayed.
I’m very excited to be among you this afternoon and I’m very happy to see what God is doing among the youth. As I thought over the climate of yesterday’s meeting, I began to think that we will begin to plan for next year now and I’m thinking that the Glory Done should be jammed fully with youth that will catch fire and set the world on fire. We are going to invite other youth ministers, especially music ministers to join us. We are going to make it a real campfire meeting. ChurchGist. Paul Daniel was telling me yesterday that there is something about youth meetings, he said the climate is different, I said is it because of the fire; I said yes, there is the passion in the heart of the youth, so when we come for meetings, it carries a different climate and we are not going to toil with that climate, we are going to shift that climate to another level next year.
I like to please pay critical attention to what you’re about to hear and I’m aware that we’ve heard so many things already but I’m speaking on the subject of ” THE FIRE FREQUENCY”. Romans 12:11. Maintaining a spiritual temperature, our objectives today is to understudy people who functioned in the fire frequency throughout scripture and in history and also to make the decision to function in the fire frequency.
There are two things I’m going to say by virtue of introduction.
- The fire frequency is the approved frequency for Kingdom service. Romans 12:11. You serve the Lord by the maintenance of a constant spiritual temperature. ChurchGist. Kingdom service is not approved, if it is not done by fire, it is not approved if it lacks fire.
- The fire frequency is the approved frequency for generational impact, if a man is to make impact, if a woman is to generate impact, if you’re to impact your generation, you impact your generation at the frequency of fire.
EXAMPLES OF SPIRITUAL FIRE IN THE SCRIPTURE.
- God. Our first example of existence or functioning at the frequency of fire is God Himself. Deuteronomy 4:24. The nature of God, the personality of God is fire. Deuteronomy 9:3. Hebrews 12:29. If God is a consuming fire and God made man in His image then it means that man was designed to function at the frequency of fire.
- Moses. The Old Testament prophet, I believe that Moses would effortlessly be the most impactful person in the Old Testament. Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. Moses was the prophet that the Bible recorded God saying that if I spoke to any prophet, I spoke to them in visions and dreams but my servant Moses was not like that, I spoke to Him face to face, among all the prophets in the Bible, Moses was the second prophet that was summoned to come up at the mountain of transfiguration, of all the Old Testament prophet, it was Moses and Elijah. What a significant life, he was called, anointed and impacted at the fire of the burning bush. ChurchGist. Exodus 3:1-4. This is what a man whose calling happened at what you would call a fire encounter, it took a fire encounter for Moses to step into ministry, it took a fire encounter for Moses to impact his generation, it took a fire encounter for Moses to rescue the destiny of the Israelites and I believe that there are people here today that are going to experience a fire encounter.
Lift your right hand and say, Father, I need a fire encounter, I make demands for a fire encounter, enfire me, enflame me for my generation.
- Elijah. Elijah could easily become the second most impacted prophet in the Old Testament. I say that because Elijah was the second person in scripture that left this earth without dying, the first one was Enoch and of course Elijah was the one that called down fire at will. Elijah was the second person that was found at the mountain of transfiguration, Elijah’s ministry did not happen without fire. Elijah as I call him was the prophet that functioned with the prophet mantle of fire. 2nd Kings 1:10-12. That was the dimension of fire Elijah operated in, it was so much that when it was time for Elijah to go to Heaven, it was fire that carried him to Heaven. 2nd Kings 2:11-12.
God is the consuming fire, Moses was anointed at the flame of the burning bush, Elijah was the prophet who carries the prophetic mantle of fire. Elijah was the one who converted a whole Nation in one day, the whole Nation said the Lord is God in one day by a man who functioned by the prophetic mantle of fire.
-I prophesy to someone here today, this generation shall not recover from the impact of your life. God is about to use you in a powerful dimension of fire that will mark your generation.
- Elisha. Elisha was the next prophet I’m ranking to Elijah. Actually, he inherited a double portion of Elijah’s anointing and he functioned in a multi dimension of the fire frequency of Elijah. 2nd Kings 6:14-17. Elisha was saying Lord, show this boy the realm at which I operate, show him where I live and function, show this boy that I’m not just talking from the mouth, I’m talking from fire. ChurchGist. There are people here today, you’re stepping into a fire dimension.
Lift your right hand and say Father, I’m stepping into a frequency of fire today, the fire frequency is my frequency.
- ISAIAH. Isaiah the prophet was commissioned by a fire encounter. Isaiah 6:1-8. By a fire encounter, the coals of fire were used to purge and purify him. To commission and position him for ministry. I believe the fire is about to land on you in this conference, when you return back to your state, community and family, they will not recognize who is coming back.
- JEREMIAH. Jeremiah was the prophet who carried fire in the bones. Jeremiah 29:9. Lamentations 1:13.
-How many of you are ready to receive fire from above today?
Lift up your right hand and say, Father, from above send fire into my bones and let it prevail against the powers of darkness.
- EZEKIEL. The prophet Ezekiel was a major prophet that carried heat in his spirit and heat is a department of fire. Ezekiel 3:14. Make up your mind that you don’t carry water or ice block in your spirit.
- DANIEL AND HIS COLLEAGUES. I believe they functioned at the frequency of fire. Daniel 3:19-25. The only way a man can walk inside fire and not be hurt by fire is that he himself is fire. ChurchGist. Fire does not burn fire; Lion does not eat Lions. The only way you can walk inside fire and not be affected by fire is that you’re a fire yourself.
I announce to someone today, you’re stepping in that frequency of fire, where no fire can hurt or harm you.
Lift your hand and say, Father, I apply to function at the frequency of fire.
- SAMSON. He prayed for the fire to accomplish his assignment. Judges 15:4-5. How many of you’re ready for the fire frequency? Say Lord I’m ready.
- JOHN THE BAPTIST. He functioned at the fire frequency
John 5:25. John was a burning and a shining light. A light that burns is called fire, it’s a burning and a shining light. No wonder he commanded the attention of a whole generation into a wilderness. - THE APOSTLES. They functioned and they were commissioned by fire. Acts 2:1-5.
- THE MASTER, JESUS. He functioned at the frequency of fire. Matthew 3:11-12. I’m standing here inside this cold water of Jordan and I’m dipping you inside water but there is somebody coming after me, He will not be standing inside water, He will be standing inside fire and He will dip you inside fire. ChurchGist. Is there anybody here who wants a dipping inside fire?
Say with me: Father, I’m here to receive the baptism of fire.
When Jesus Christ rose from the dead, He was moving on the road to Emmaus, do you remember the story? Two disciples followed him, the Bible says their eyes were hid. Luke 24. Their eyes were closed they could not recognize the master, but in the breaking of bread they could recognize him because their eyes were opened. Luke 24:30-32. When a man is on fire, when he speaks, he set heart aflame. ChurchGist. When was the last time you spoke and somebody’s heart was aflame. He was standing in the river of fire and He was dipping people in fire and now He is speaking and their heart was burning.

Lift your right hand and say, Father, today I’m here to acquire the fire.
When John saw Him in the book of Revelation, He was not the master he used to know. Revelation 1:12-17. Immediately after resurrection; fire. Now that you’ve seen His glorified form; fire. I’m not throwing a rhythm.
If everyone aforementioned are on fire, then who are you?
- THE END TIME ARMY. Joel 2:1-3.
Lift your right hand and say, Father, I apply for the fire.
There was a man whose name was John Wesley, this man was more prolific than any preacher in history, he preached 40,000 sermons, he travelled 250,000 miles on a horseback, from here (Abuja) to Lagos is not up to 1,000 miles, it is maybe 500 miles, yet he did 250,000 miles on horseback. It is equivalent to going round the equator 10 times. He was on fire preaching. ChurchGist. When he died, he had 294 preachers, 71,668 British members, 19 missionaries, 5 mission stations, 43,265 American Members, just with 198 preachers. Today the Methodist Church is said to be 30,000,000 worldwide by a man.
You know what John Wesley said, when the King of England went to listen to his preaching and he asked him, people are struggling to go to Church. Meanwhile you put your pulpit on your father’s cemetery and thousands gathered because they kicked him out of a Church in England, maybe he had too much fire. Yet, he was preaching in a graveyard and people were coming to listen. He said it is only one thing I do, I set myself on fire and people come to watch me burn. They come to watch the burning bush, because God set the bush on fire and that caught Moses’ attention. ChurchGist. John Wesley was the father of William Wilberforce, when we talk about fire, we are not just talking about being a pastor. He set his congregation on fire and raised a man by the name, William Wilberforce, a very strong Christian, who was a member of the British Parliament at age 27 and spoke and moved for the abolition of slave trade. He was the first mover that slavery must be abolished, he moved it and his voice was heard and everything that ended slavery from Britain to all over the world, came out from a man who was raised by a fire man. So, it doesn’t matter what your realm is, if you’re a Christian your frequency must be fire.
There was another man by the name John Fletcher he was a member of the John Wesley ministry, he was a prayer band leader in his ministry. John Fletcher prayed until the breath of his mouth stained the wall of his room. The fire in his spirit stained the wall of his room.
I was talking about John Fletcher; I remember David Brenard. David Brenard was the son-in-law of Johnathan Edwards, he was a man who would pray for 8 hours, inside the snow, he would lay inside the snow and melt the snow by the heat of his body. Have you ever heard such a thing before? It is a challenge to pray inside the snow on its own. ChurchGist. We don’t know snow here, so we may not understand what I’m talking about, but that you’re praying until the snow melts. It’s like you laying on top of an ice block and melting it by the heat of your body. That was David Brenard, he preached to the Indians, they repented in mass. One day, he needed an interpreter, he couldn’t get an interpreter and he caught a drunkard and the drunkard interpreted and the people were saved in mass and of course the drunkard had no option but to give himself up.
These were men and women who functioned and moved at the frequency of fire.
Benson Idahosa of blessed memory, left Nigeria to America. Christ for the Nation Bible School by Gordon Lindsay and he went in there and the fire he carried was too much, he went to the Bible School, the fire was too much, he couldn’t finish the Bible School and God asked him to return back to Nigeria and when he came, from the story I heard, those who came to welcome him at the airport, every hand he shook, all of them were on the floor. ChurchGist. The fire was too much, he wrote a book titled fire in his bones. That book sent him around the world, over 190 Countries he went to, he was on fire ravaging the Kingdom of darkness.
Beloved, brothers and sisters, what are you going to do with your life?
When I was a young man, I’m still very young, but I know you’re much younger than me. I have physical and spiritual children here. At your age, the major passion and theme for my life was fire. The scriptures I’m reading to you were the scripture that caught my attention in my teenage years, I didn’t want to live an ordinary life. ChurchGist. We would pray for hours, fast for seven days, no food. There were seven days of fasting that had no water, I wouldn’t encourage you to try such, I’m a medical doctor now, so I know better, days where you would be praying for seven hours minimum nonstop. That is on average and if you have done 10 or 11 hours of praying then you have done some work. I didn’t do that when I was in medical school, I did that mostly during holidays. The average I did during medical school was three hours and if the pressure got too much, I would find another 2 hours some other times in the morning. One day we were praying in my father’s living room, the fire was so much that one of my sisters had an encounter. God told her, I have an oil for you but you’re going to give a major portion of it to him, so that he would be able to accomplish the things that you may not be able to do. I mean, in addition to what I carried before, he gave her something like a pot of oil in her hands and she came to where I was and placed it on my head. I fell down and I heard the sound of my own head on the floor, like a broken coconut. If I was not the one involved, there is nobody that would convince me that the person’s head did not scatter, just by the weight of the oil. It was weighty. When I got up from that encounter, I knew that for the rest of my life, I can’t be the same. I knew that there was oil, a very massive oil. This is in addition to the oil my mother saw when she was carrying my pregnancy at age 7 months. Somebody brought a basin that was filled with different bottles of oil and said this oil is for the head of the child that is to be born, anoint his head.
Hallelujah!
You may say you never had such an encounter or your mother never had such an encounter, it doesn’t matter. ChurchGist. Amos was a shepherd boy of Tekoa, you may say I’m not a prophet, I don’t have any relation that is a prophet, I don’t even know anything about the prophetic but God has just called me but what I’m saying to you today is, you must make up your mind.
One day I was seeking for fire so much, I was already married then with three children, I was seeking fire, until fire landed on my body. The fire landed on my chest and I began to scream and my wife ran from the room, what is going on? Fire! She poured cold water from the fridge on me, yet it was burning because it wasn’t physical.
I’m giving you examples to let you know that the fire of the Holy Spirit is real.
My counsel for you is this:
- Refuse to be a water brand, a nominal Christian. Refuse to be an average Christian.
- Refuse to waste your life chasing shadows. Don’t waste your lifetime chasing things that don’t matter.
- Don’t waste your life doing boyfriend and girlfriend when you’re not yet licensed to think of getting married. If you’re going to get married at the age of 26 or 27 and you’re only 17 now, what are you doing with a girl? What is the thought of a man or woman for? You have no business with that realm, this has rendered so many people useless. The time the vision of the future should occupy their mind, a guy or girl is occupying their thoughts. The days of phone now have worsened the matter, you’re in the classroom and a text message is coming to you from a boy or a girl, also in the Church. When you’re meant to be laying the foundation for your destiny, you’re busy wasting time.
I won’t be surprised if there are people in this camp who came to look for boyfriends and girlfriends, it’s a waste of life. If we lived like that, you won’t find us here, there is no way there would be anything like this.
- Refuse for your life to be run by hormones. Let vision and passion run your life. Let God run your life. ChurchGist. Until you have the control of your flesh, you cannot have the control of your future.
- Refuse to exist only for census purposes. Let your life count for something, not just be counted.
- Refuse to be among those who only watch things happen. There are three categories of people in this world, there are those who make things happen, there are those who watch things happen and there are those who wonder what is happening.
I bear testimony of Dr (Mrs) Becky Enenche, I knew her when she was a young and tiny girl, standing inside buses and preaching. Standing in front of hostels preaching with a Bible in her hand. It was her permanent lifestyle. You don’t arrive somewhere by chance; you arrive by choice. Don’t watch life pass by you.
- Refuse to be a generational burden, be determined to be a generational blessing.
- Be determined to exist and function at the fire frequency.
No matter your field, be it a pastor or scientist, you need to be on fire for God. Isaac Newton, Michael Faraday, they were on fire for God. If you’re a billionaire or a businessman, exist at a fire frequency for God. Anything you’re, if you’re a Christian, you have no option than to be on fire for God. Not just a preacher, I’m looking forward to the days when a politician will take a pulpit fire into politics, when a businessman will carry the ministry fire into business, into art and industry and just operate things like a wildfire. At that time the devil will realize that God has people.
