Father, let the word be open to us by your Spirit. Let each one have a revelation of your Word. Church Gist. Let us not go back the same. Bring a change in our lives in Jesus mighty name.
COMMANDING THE SUPERNATURAL (Part 3). The sub topic is WALKING IN LOVE. Any life without progress will be full of frustration. And God never created you to be stagnated. Church Gist. Proverbs 4:18. Life is supposed to be dynamic not static. Progression is God’s wish for you. He wants you to take over the Earth and be in charge of the Earth. Matthew 5:13-14.
Hear this and hear me well: God speaking concerning you, you have been ordained for success by new birth. Church Gist. God knows that you have all it takes to become the light of the world because God your Father cannot be a failure. And if God is your Father then, you are not supposed to be a failure. It is an anathema to be a failure in the Kingdom of God. In the Kingdom of God you can come small but you are not permitted to remain small because if you are connected to the almighty God, you should be mighty likewise. Church Gist. Like begets like. An elephant does not pray to be big; he has the genes of bigness. If God is the Father then, you should be a big child of God. Say I hear!
But hear this: you can never be like anything except you have nature and the genes of that. God has a nature; until you are able to carry that nature, you cannot produce results like God. Church Gist. Many know God, but they don’t have understanding of His nature. Amos 3:3. That nature is Love. 1 John 4:8. So, if you don’t love, you don’t know God. And God is love. So if I don’t walk in love, then, I can’t operate like God.
Hear this: God is not prayers, He answers prayers. God is not faith; He responds to our faith. God is not Miracles; He is a miracle working God. Church Gist. But God is love. So if I want to command results like God, then I must know the meaning of love and walk in love.
Hear this: in the previous services, I went ahead to talk about what love is. I said love is a God first lifestyle. Love is making God your priority for everything. Church Gist. I gave the proofs of love: if you say you love God, then you must love His Word. If you love God you must love what He loves most – soul winning. If you love God, you must love His house.
But this service, I am looking at the benefits of love. Church Gist. If you know these benefits, nobody will tell you to love.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF LOVE:
1 Corinthians 2:9. When you walk in love, you are a strange person on the Earth.
1) Depth in revelation: love guarantees depth in revelation. In 1 Corinthians 2:9-10, when you love God, He reveals things to you that you can’t tell other people. Psalm 25:14. Fear in Scripture here means Love. Church Gist. So, it is not your rigorous study that guarantees depth in revelation but your positioning of your heart for God. Many think that if they read too much they will understand the secrets of God – it’s a lie. You can read and not get any revelation.
Even in the natural, if you love somebody, the person can be miles away, you pick up phone and tell the person your secret while you will not tell your neighbour who is next door your secret. Church Gist. God does not reveal secrets to you because you read too much; He reveals secrets to you because you love Him.
Something profound happened to me last week, too deep: Nigeria is one of the most corrupt nations on Earth. Hope you know that? Even in the Church. Church Gist. I have done everything, asked experts to proffer solution to corruption, it has not worked. In fact, the more you want to proffer solution, the more they dribble you. I got so tired. The construction going on, do you know I have completely closed the site before that everybody should go? That is that cathedral. I got to a point I said, in Jesus name, all of you go! Church Gist. Yet when new set of people came in, the mafians were still there. All human principles to stop corruption has not worked. I will call them, talk to them, say why are you doing like this? (For where!)
Somebody will stay somewhere, use his technical knowledge and finish whatever he wants to finish technically. Church Gist. Then last week, during the Week of Spiritual Empowerment, I said Holy Ghost, show me the secret of stopping this corruption. I don’t want to ask all the experts.
Now, every company has monitoring team true? Even SHELL; yet there is corruption. There is no project in Nigeria where they don’t have monitoring team yet the monitoring team needs to be monitored. Church Gist. In fact when they appoint him as a monitoring team he says, Thank God. It is now he will tell that contractor that if he doesn’t bring, monitoring team will not approve. We have all the processes; leave theory, Nigeria, theory does not work here.
They will give you formula, set up a monitoring team, one day one expert, then our finance department was telling me, “Sir…” I said, is it what they taught you in school you are coming to tell me? Church Gist. I am talking about what you will do now. Leave all these ambiguous big big grammar you are speaking – it has not worked.
And the Holy Ghost just said to me, “Look for the Daniels, 2 or 3 Daniels among the pastors and set them over everybody. Let them go to site. After the architect, quantity surveyor, structural engineer signs, everybody signs, these young men will now go… Church Gist. You know before they will sign and say, project this this. You don’t know the name; are you not a Pastor? They will give you one technical name. You ask, why is this 500 and something million? They say, “Sir, you know the project is very big, even if it is small expansion Church it goes into millions.”
Now, no argument. So this team will go to you: show us what you want to do. You will show them. How will it look like? Because they are also technical boys. Church Gist. When you finish, they will say, how long will you do it? You say, one month. So they will come back after one month and see whether the money you took, you did it. If you don’t do it, you are in trouble.
Where did you read that in school? They don’t teach that in any school. Before we don’t do that; they will say, yes they have done. Church Gist. The man you put to supervise will sign that it has been done. So the Daniels will say, “no, Sir they didn’t do it.” So there is no way you can be corrupt because these Daniels will say, No Sir, the 3,000 nails they said are not there. Now you say, 3,000 nails, you will show us where you are putting them. So I have nibbled and sniffed corruption to zero. Church Gist. Nobody taught me from any university. That’s what the Holy Ghost does. When you love God, He shows you things others can’t see. Say I hear!
- This day, Somebody will have an encounter with Him in the name of Jesus!
The reason the Holy Ghost has not revealed anything to you is because you don’t love God. 1 Corinthians 2:10. Church Gist. Job 29:4. Business men, love God and see if he will not show you what others are struggling to get.
- I speak to a business man, God will show you a secret that will make you beat everybody hands down in the name of Jesus.
2) You can’t fail: 1 Corinthians 13:8 (NKJV). When you are in love, you are failure proof. Church Gist. Lovers don’t fail. Since I understood the mystery of love I have never failed.
Please, all the principles can’t match love.
3) Love makes you indestructible: Deuteronomy 9:3. God is a consuming fire and God is love. 1 John 4:8. Church Gist. When you walk in God you become a consuming fire; you become indestructible; whatever wants to destroy you shall be destroyed.
1 John 4:16. Have you not seen me where I said, ‘stone me something,’ and people will fall down? When you walk in love you carry God as a person. Church Gist. You don’t know what you are doing walking in small small bitterness; every small charm thrown to you reaches you.
4) Love makes you fearless: 1 John 4:18-20. When your love is perfected, fear is eradicated. Church Gist. You will never be afraid, you will be full of boldness; attempting you is attempting God. If you are afraid check your loveometer.
For those of you who do projects, I gave you consultancy free. True? Even if you have a project now, you know you can monitor the project. Nobody can cheat you at the site. Church Gist. Just look for a Daniel, the Daniel will go and measure the project. If I knew this since nobody would have eaten money. That’s the power of love.
5) Love is the booster of supernatural intelligence: Love makes you to access the realm of surpassing intelligence and mental prowess. Church Gist. It gives you access to unlimited wisdom that the world cannot stop. Now, when you walk in love your wisdom level will be something else. Proverbs 8:15-16. When you walk in love you are connected to Divinity and God is the only wise God. Romans 16:27. When you walk in love you become the only wise child; His virtues begin to find expression in you. Church Gist. That was why Joseph could operate in strange dimension of wisdom. Genesis 41:38-44. Daniel walked in love, Daniel 6:12-20, Daniel 1:20. They were super intelligent.
- The least person under the sound of my voice will be 10 times brighter than the highest unbeliever.
You don’t know what you are missing not walking in love. Your brain will be like electric.
6) Love guarantees instant answers to prayers: 1 John 3:22-23. Lovers of God enjoy instant answers to prayers. 1 Kings 3:3, 13. Church Gist. When you love God, even what you are thinking in your heart God will answer. You stay like this and say in your heart, I need a car. The car will come.
Life story: in the United States, I was driving with one of my Pastors and I saw a very fine American spec of Toyota car. It just came out newly. I just said, “this car is fine.” That was all I said. Church Gist. By the time I got to Nigeria, the exact spec was waiting for me here. Somebody bought in the US in Atlanta and said God spoke to him that he should bring that car to me.
When you love God, He answers you without you opening your mouth. Church Gist. There are 2 classes of people: Isaiah 65:24; Matthew 7:7.
I was with my driver last month and they told me of a car I gave, and the car is having issues. And I said, “oh, this old man needs a car.” I just said that I am not ready to buy car but he needs another car. As I said he needs another car, the following day somebody brought a Jeep – not a member of this Church. Church Gist. And I said since that car has spoilt, use this car to replace it. Lovers don’t pray; He answers them before they call. Enter this lovers’ class it’s just rest. Anything I need, God supplies. I’ve left the class of praying for anything. If I ask for money, it is for other people.
7) You become supernaturally joyful: David praised God 7 times a day; he prayed 3 times a day. That means, he was going to Church 10 times a day. Psalm 119:164. David was the most influential king on Earth in his time. Church Gist. You, small appointment of M. D. of a bank, even the Sunday you come half Sunday. David loved God, God said, he is a man after my heart. It is when you are wealthy you will know whether you love God. It’s easy to pretend that you love God as a poor man. We have only 3 fellowships; even the Sunday, you come late.
Paul was in prison; love did not make him to ask God questions. Philippians 4:4. Joy enhances your access to revelation, divine health and strength. Isaiah 12:3. Paul was a joyful man because of the love of God. You know how powerful love is? Church Gist. John the Baptist never loved God. That you are coming to Church does not mean you love God. When John was thrown in prison he got angry. Matthew 11:1-6. But when Paul was in prison he said, God is ever faithful, I love him so much that He can never be at fault.
When you want to know those who don’t love God, small challenge, I am not coming to Church. Okay, if you don’t serve God, will it change God? Do you know, God does not benefit from our service. You serve Him, He is God; you don’t serve Him, He is God. Church Gist. Matthew 3:9. Okay, when you serve God, He will take sickness away from you; is it for Him? Exodus 23:25. Serving God does not benefit Him, it benefits you. When you get revelation of that, you will not be making noise with God. Job 36:11. To be threatening God, you don’t love God.
8) Love makes you change levels: Job 36:11. You just prosper. John 4:36. Church Gist. When you love God, soul winning becomes part of your life and that makes you prosper without sweat.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (NKJV). Every principle, including giving principle, faith, is worthless without love. Galatians 5:6. And recognize this: love is not theoretical. Church Gist. Love is practical. One way to measure your love for God is to check your fear level for Him. 1 John 4:1 I’m not talking about “Phobia”
Proverbs 1:7. When a man loves God, he reverences God. Psalm 112:1. If you love God, it will show, you will love what He loves, you will love His Word, will speak of Him to others, at this point He will manifest Himself in an unimaginable dimension to us. Church Gist. Ephesians 3:17-19. When you walk in love you are filled with all the fullness of God. You carry the full measure of God; so anything that God will do, you will do. You become a supernatural explosive.
The miracles you are seeing me, it’s not because I am the most powerful, it is because of love. I carry the fullness of God. You want the fullness of God? Then walk in love. You will go to your shop and sit down, customers will be coming. There are those of us who don’t anoint, we are anointed. Church Gist. If I come to your shop, you don’t need oil. If I sit down, customers will be coming. Just imagine God sitting in your shop. Just carry the fullness of God by love. You will sit in your shop like this, what you will sell somebody will not sell for 3 days.
Go for evangelism – you are frowning; come to Church – you grumble; give to somebody – you backslide.
PRAYER:
- Pray for fresh baptism of tireless love for God.
